Pobre Juan

The foods are okay!! Beef and steak are slightly overcooked, while the side dishes are not bad! The appetizers, the bread and the desserts are good. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the mall!

Stumbled upon this place after shopping for three hours. As soon as you walk in ambiance lures you in. Restaurant has really cool vibe about it plus amazing views of the city and river. We ordered way too much food and every single dish was better than the previous one. They have menu in English with pictures online which made a huge difference as well. I will come back here just for those churros.

I’ve looked everywhere for a Expresso Martini with no luck but here in Pobre Juan. The views is beautiful plus the Shopping mall is top notch. The food was great and service was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food here is amazing. We ordered a sharing steak for 2 and couldn't be happier. Arroz biro biro is also really good as a side! The service was great and the place is really nice.

The restaurant's prime location offers an incredible view that adds a special touch to the dining atmosphere. The food was an absolute delight, bursting with delicious flavors that left a lasting impression. However, what truly elevated my visit was the impeccable service provided by Thiago Souza. Not only was he exceptionally friendly, but his in-depth knowledge of the menu was truly impressive. His recommendations were a perfect match for our tastes, and his attentive and professional demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

They offer high quality meat for any taste. I have been here for both lunch and dinner and as long as you ask the waiter (very well trained and helpful) what cuts are recommended that day, there's no wrong option. For lunch they offer a 3 course meal that is more affordable but still very good. Definitely recommend this place it's meat, drinks, staff and view.

Such a great place and atmosphere to listen to live acoustic music and eat incredible food :-) the order was the bife ancho cauliflower, pupunha pasta and grilled onions. Absolutely awesome! Our waiter Marcio was beyond excellent and not explained our dish but also helped us choose the perfect temperature ( ponto menos ) for our steak. Definitely will come back and recommend:-) all of this while taking in the breath taking views of beautiful São Paulo…

Had the signature steak medium. It was grilled perfectly and was delicious. The side vegetables were plenty and great non-carb compliment to the steak. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The live music was the icing on the cake.

Looking for a bite to eat before a movie at the mall, we happened upon Pobre Juan due to their excellent three-piece jazz band's music wafting into the mall's corridors. We were seated in view of the huge charcoal grill which was giving off delicious smells. Couvert was good, and had several spreads, including a blue cheese one. The grilled palmito side came served in its own husk - impressive looking! - with a tasty chimichurri sauce. It didn't have much flavor besides the grill marks -- not even salt. Sirloin was done medium rare although my husband requested medium, but tasty and tender nonetheless. My salmon was grilled perfectly medium, although the lemon risotto to accompany it was unforgivably crunchy (undercooked). I didn't finish it. One of the few restaurants I've been to that serves Hoegaarden, it was served ice-cold in a wine glass. I would try this again to see if some of their other dishes are better.
