How has this remained hidden? First, it’s expensive. But, just like a Porsche, you don’t miss the cash in your wallet; you only remember the amazing food, warm service, and serene environment. Homemade bread was a treat. Cheese selection didn’t include any manchego, which means someone put some real thought into the cheese. Mustard sauce on the smoked salmon was unique and delicious. The sea bass was “life changing” it was so good! Wonderful!

We were excited to try this place but it just didn't deliver. There were 5 of us. Our waiter suggested 5 to 6 different plates and 2 of each so that there would be enough food. We ordered sashimi, tartar, mushrooms, tomato bread, shrimp skewers, oxtail, and short rib. They served everything except the oxtail and short rib at one time. We were inundated with plates. The tartar and sashimi were fine. The mushrooms had virtually no flavor, were dry, and barely cooked. They had a lot of oil on them but no salt. The shrimp skewers with curry "foam" and the tomato bread were the highlights. Both the meat dishes came at the same time and they were barely distinguishable from one another. We ordered more tomato bread but that didn't come until we were done with everything. Service deteriorated as the restaurant filled and when we asked for the check it was too long of a wait. This is not an inexpensive restaurant and for the food quality and type of service we feel we paid too much.

The food are extremely delicious... Sito Manzano (the chef) is very kind... he came to chat at our table... The service by Fran and Sara was also spectacular. The food cannot be explained in words. It was a pleasure with every bite.

I've been a regular customer since they opened!! It just keeps getting better!! A wonderful, relaxed atmosphere, designed for sharing dishes around the table. Authentic, high-quality cuisine, featuring the finest fresh seasonal produce. Highly recommended; one of my favorites in Girona. Excellent wine list. Reservations are essential!

Pocavergonya Bistró in Girona: Octopus and Catalan dishes were absolutely delicious! Tasty flavors, perfect cooking, and friendly service. A must-visit for a delightful culinary experience!

Just a decent dinner with well made , but kind of “boring” food. For sure not something to run for, but if you are around - the tuna tartar was pretty nice

Probably the best octopus I’ve ever had 🤩 Plus the staff was super nice and welcoming, perfect atmosphere, great music I can keep on going… definitely a must if you’re in Girona!
