I had never eaten Korean food before, and this restaurant made me fall in love with it. The staff kindly explained each dish and how to eat the BBQ with the wraps and sauces. I tried the galbi, and it was juicy, smoky, and unforgettable. The colorful lanterns and murals gave the place a lively, cultural feel. It was both a meal and a new experience.

Great Korean restaurant that offers wide selection of cocktails and food. Modern looks and very nice staff and good service. The bulgogi was good but the portion is very small. The Seoul soul was very delicious, and also the peaches and cream were good. If you happen to be in the neighborhood give it a try!

This place is actually really nice. It looks like it's trying to modernize itself for the newer generation of people who wants to try Korean barbecue. Bear in mind this is not in all you can eat, it's more of an à la carte. The prices are labeled and when I saw the menu looks like some of the food items are still coming up, it said coming soon. The atmosphere is really nice and it feels like you're sitting down inside of a club. The hostess and our waiter was nice and accommodating. At the time that we were here, they provided $2 tequila or whiskey shots. That was really cool. The food was okay in my opinion. They were very small portion especially the bulgogi where you can get it in a bigger portion at other places like YD. They had other random foods such as a tater tot extra spicy chicken and spaghetti I would assume? Not really Korean BBQ but I'm assuming they're trying to add more flair to the menu but all I know I would say it's a decent place to try for the first time.

Arrived at around 430pm on a Friday so the place wasn't busy yet. We were seated promptly. The server (Joseph) was knowledgeable about the menu which made ordering a breeze. Food & drinks came out quick. Food portions are worth the price. Wanted to try the Kimchi Pancakes but ordered too much food already. I'll definitely be back to try the other stuff on the menu.

We visited Pocha House on a Saturday around 630/7. We got a table right away. There was a Kings game starting at 7, and they had the game projected on 2 side walls as well as playing on a few TVs behind the bar. Our waitress (and all staff) were super friendly. We ordered the Spicy KFC which were fried spicy chicken wings with a side of cabbage salad and pickled jalapeños. The wings had the best fry I think I have ever had on a piece of chicken and the sauce was an even balance of spicy, sweet, and super flavorful. We also ordered Fire Booty Booldak. Spicy chicken on a bed of tater tots with torched cheese. Not only did the dish arrive piping hot, but they torched the cheese table side. The chicken was really tender, and it was a great combo with the tater tots and melt cheese. This was a great place for a weekend date night. It wasn't too loud to chat, but we also got to watch the game. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious! The soy garlic wings were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Loved the sides too — especially the pickled radish. Great portion and worth the price!

This was a great cozy late night experience. The food was good and the service was great. The TTEOKBOKKI could have used more rice cakes, but the flavor and spice was good. The ODENG TANG was my personal favorite, just giant fish cake in a yummy broth. The VOLCANO STEAMED EGG was delicious as well.

Had some food and drinks with some friends tonight and I am very amazed by the great service and staff here. The KFC Chicken was very tasteful and full of flavor. I also had the Rosé Pasta which was so good and will definitely order again. The atmosphere gives very much chill and friendly vibes. The girls working tonight Emily, Natalie, Jordan, and Sierra were definitely on top of it and were attentive and quick with every request we had. I really enjoyed my night here and would recommend for all family and friends to come here :).

Faith and Natalie were very friendly and made me some awesome drinks (Seoul Sour was probably my favorite). The Bulgolgi fries were delicious. The Halloween decorations were a nice touch.

Pocha House might just be my new go-to for Korean comfort food with personality. The vibe inside is warm and lively -- neon glow, great music. The Hot Cheetos Corn Cheese is pure genius -- creamy, cheesy, sweet corn underneath that crunchy, spicy Cheeto topping. It's rich, over-the-top in the best way, and completely addictive. Then there's the Spicy Pork Bulgogi -- tender slices of pork caramelized with that deep, smoky-sweet Korean spice. Perfectly balanced heat, bold flavor, and so satisfying with rice The staff were upbeat and welcoming -- quick service, great recommendations, and genuinely happy energy that matches the food. If you're craving a spot that blends comfort, spice, and just the right amount of fun, Pocha House is it. Every dish brings flavor and flair.

We went here after a concert- love that it was open late with comfort Asian food. There happened to be an event with a dj when we went so it was super loud haha but it was good vibes! Cute interior too~ We got a variety of things- army stew, shin ramen, fire booty booldak chicken, soy garlic kfc. All were pretty tasty. The army stew was served on a burner so we could cook it on the table. The kfc was such a good texture - I liked the banchan they served with it- radish, pickled jalapeños and a side salad Parking - street parking, watch the signs as there's a lot of 1 hour parking around.

I crave this place! Such a cool vibe, plenty of space, good music, great staff, and great food. We came on a slow night when there weren't any events happening so it was a chill spot to wind down and eat some late night cravings. Tteokbokki: I ordered this with ramen and cheese, and it was all the worth it! I love spicy food but my bf doesn't, so I was a bit surprised when it fit both our liking. It was honestly the perfect spice where u just want to keep eating more. The rice cakes were perfect and the cheese literally melted in the dish. 100/10 crave this everytime now. Hot Cheeto corn cheese: a MUST. Idk what it was but it hit the spot and to our shock, the hot Cheetos fit absolutely well for this dish. I thought it would taste like a street corn, but it had a much different flavor to it. We all loved it. Lychee martini: it was a bit strong but a good option if u like lychee like me. Soju flights: we arrived as a table of 4 and there was 4 sojus in the flight so it was perfect for us to try out and take some shots lol. Great experience and hope to attend one of their events late night soon!

I like the vibe of the place. If it were a weekend, I can see how it could be super busy. We got the kimchi pancake, the lunch box, and rose pasta. Honestly, the food was pretty mid. Lacked flavor. The pasta was good but I wouldn't call it a Rose pasta, it tastes like a seafood boil pasta. The drinks were pretty good. We had a good time.

I've always wanted to come here because my husband and I heard great things especially about the party life at night. We were in the area looking at Yelp bookmark and Pocha House came up. When we went around 5:30 PM, it was not busy at all. It is so cool inside! Between the lights and the black furniture and all of the art, you just can't go wrong. The train even went by which means they offered four dollar shots and of course we had to take one. We love this entire experience. Our server was extremely nice, helpful and kind. I learned about the various drinks they offer. She also had good recommendations for food. The cheese corn was out of this world and having it made in front of you was quite the experience. I will definitely be back because I didn't experience a night life yet. There's so many other things. I'd like to try on the menu.

The vibes here are so chill and great for hanging out with friends for drinks! The drinks have such unique and fun names! The food had an interesting take as well.

pocha house was such a vibe!! the night we were there, they were playing bay area music & everybody was enjoying themselves. the only downside is that the place is so small. the tables are so close to the dance floor so you feel like you're in other people's bubble. but i definitely wanna come again & try their food too!

We went on Wednesday night and it wasn't busy at all. We also had a very big party. The place is nice and spacious with a separate bar towards the back. The bathroom is such a vibe and perfect for pictures. We ordered a bunch of food (Honorable Mentions: Rose Pasta and Bulgogi Fries). The Rose pasta was seriously delicious with the perfect amount of sauce and shrimp. My friends did say it was slightly too much of a tomato flavor, but I thought it was perfect. The Bulgogi fries were very crispy and had a fair amount of toppings. We ordered a bunch of drinks like the yogurt sojus which were so yummy. It is a very light drink because of the yogurt, so it is perfect for lightweights.

I ordered pickup before a show at the nearby Channel 24 and the spicy bulgogi was super yummy! Prices are a little steep but in my opinion, the amount of food you get is worth the price. The spicy bulgogi came with kimchi and an ample helping of rice. My friend got the hot cheeto cheese corn and she liked it, although a little spicy for her taste, so I finished it. The restaurant had a really nice vibe and decor throughout, which extended to the bar at the back of the restaurant and restrooms. The process of picking up the food was prompt and the staff were super nice and let my friend use the restrooms too. I hope I can bring my family here when we're in town next time!

We came in on a Friday around 7:15pm. A very modern space. We were seated right away. Our server was friendly and helped us make our choices. We ordered the flight to Seoul (soju flight), doshirak and soy garlic KFC with an extra side of kimchi. The flight-delicious if you like soju. The doshirak was great too. A lunchbox size meal with rice, spam, fried egg, kimchi with seaweed and spicy sauce. The KFC wings (large) with soy garlic were crispy with a nice sauce. It came with pickled radish, jalepino with soy sauce (?) and a small coleslaw with dressing. We asked for a small taste of the spicy sauce in the side (we were told it would be super spicy but it was just the right amount of heat and tasted delicious. Definitely too spicy for some-not Thai spicy). The kimchi is house made and definitely delicious (not too spicy) Super accommodating - when an uninvited friend (fly) joined our extra sauce, they quickly replaced it for us. Five stars for food and drink four stars for ambiance. They play music (a little too rough for me) personally would prefer to hear k-pop : ). tvs are playing movies with no volume. Also only street parking but not too bad.

I came here with a friend for Saturday late night food and we had around a 20 minute wait, so we just waited in the car. There's a lot of residential street parking nearby, so we just ended up chilling and waiting until they gave us a phone call. Fortunately we did not need to wait inside the store, since it was quite packed and the music was really loud. We actually didn't realize it was more of a drinks and dancing type place until it got later in the night and people started filling up the restaurant to dance. The menu is a little overwhelming, but we ordered the kimchi fried rice, the pocha shin ramen, and the bulgogi fries. The food took a little while to come out, but when it did it was piping hot and ready to eat! I enjoyed our food immensely. Service is a little haphazard since it became difficult to flag down our server to get our check later in the night but I understand, it is an overstimulating place to work. Overall I would come back here again if I was in Sac to try some more of their options (e.g KFC and sides like corn cheese)!

Never come here if Sierra and Yasmine are on duty because they make this establishment overflow with good times and greater service. Cannot recommend this place any more because it's always been a pleasure to find a gem of a quiet bar for a bite and drink on any given weekday afternoon.

I came early on a Friday evening with little to no people there! The staff were finishing their cleaning, but we're really glad to help us. We ordered the makgeolli (rice wine) along with some food. The bulgogi fries & the soy garlic fried chicken were both solid options. They also have a DJ around 10 pm on the weekends if you're in for a more louder dinner experience. I definitely would come back here

Really great vibe, loved the food here and a very friendly Staff. Definitely a great place to kick back and have some great Korean food. Recommend the Hot Cheetos Cheesy Corn and the Soufflé Egg, the Soy Garlic Wings are phenomenal. For something on the light side the pork belly salad was really good too. Need to come back with more people.

Love the vibes at Pocha House! Pocha House offers Korean street food classics in a vibrant, high energy space. I've been to ticketed events at Pocha House like R&B night, and I recently stopped by with friends for drinks and a bite. This is definitely a spot you won't want to miss on a night out on the town, and their food is globally inspired and sure to satisfy. My group of four started at the bar with a round of shooters, and we were seated at a booth in less than 20 mins, despite being a walk-in on a Saturday night. Service was quick, and we were offered the option of dining with chopsticks or a fork. To start, I ordered a Lychee Martini, and it was served with fresh fruit on the rim! The drink was sweet and strong without feeling overpowering. For dinner, I ordered the bulgogi. It came out on a sizzling plate, and it was perfect to share. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu, especially their Spicy KFC! Pocha House is a fun edition to the Midtown foodie and night life scene. Be sure to stay for the DJ!

My friends and I had an outstanding experience at Pocha House. Admittedly, we had apprehensions because it looks more like a nightclub than a Korean restaurant. Ironically, I loved the food and didn't care for my cocktail! Our waitress was great from start to finish. We had Soju, Korean Spicy Fried Tofu, Beef Bulgogi, Stir Fried Rice Cakes, Kimchee Fried Rice with Spam. What was great is that we had a few dishes set aside the meat proteins so that our vegetarian friend was able to enjoy the dishes the rest of us were enjoying. Every dish was balanced and flavorful. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Pocha House again.

I've been back to Pocha House a few times now and it's a vibe. From the neon lights and great music to the attention to detail, even in spots like the bathroom. I have heard the nightlife is great here, but I prefer the slower hours where I can enjoy a meal or a spot at the bar. I've also ordered takeout when I'm craving Korean food and the experience has always been great. A lot of the food offerings are sharable and meant to be enjoyed along with great friends and drinks. Their soups are delicious and one of the menu items that you'll want to order as a dine in experience. Some of my other favorite items are the tteokbokki, wings and bulgogi, but there's a lot of variety on the menu and a little something for everyone. The portions are generous and everything is so flavorful. I like to sit at the bar when I'm not getting takeout and the staff is always really nice. The music is also great here and if you're into it they have DJs come in and events that you can check out. They're open late and food is available late too!

Wow, this place was great. We hit it on an off hour when it was easy to get in. The vibe is great, waitstaff are genuine and cute, food is spot-on delicious. The ramen broth was very rich and delicious, the Buldak Fire Chicken on tater tots was amazing, and the fried chicken gizzards were a bit overbreaded but otherwise delicious. Very nice experience, glad to have them in town.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Trina, and she made our night so special! We mentioned to her that we had just gotten married earlier this month and that this was our first date out as newlyweds. To our surprise, she went above and beyond by paying for one of our drinks as a sweet congratulations gesture. Not only was she incredibly kind and attentive--always checking in, keeping our waters full, and making sure we had everything we needed--but our food and drinks also came out quickly and perfectly. Trina made sure the whole experience felt seamless and enjoyable. Servers like her truly make a difference. We left not only full but also grateful for the thoughtful way she helped us celebrate such a meaningful time in our lives. Thank you, Trina, for making our first married date night so memorable!

I love this spot--been here a few times now but this past time we came in on a Monday night, around 6, and were the only ones in there for at least 40 minutes. It was after thanksgiving week so that could've factored into why. Vibe here is immaculate and I know the late night scene is a fun one, but they truly do have some good food!!! The wings are my favorite, a little crunchy, sweet and spicy, well-cooked. I adore the pickled daikon radish on the side and a nice lil cabbage salad. HIGHLY recommend :) Our waitress was sweet & attentive & everyone who works here seems to be in a good mood and really helpful! A really good Korean-American option around the corner from the cute streets in the Ice Blocks.

Have been getting into Korean food lately, so wanted to check out Pocha House! Finding parking took so long :( They do not have a designated parking lot and the building is located next to a railroad, so it's all street parking The restaurant decor is really on theme and has a nice vibe for a night out with friends. For food, we ordered: 1. Tteokbokki - rice cakes were perfectly chewy and the sauce was not too spicy with the perfect amount of savory-ness. 2. Bulgogi Fries - super crispy fries topped with flavorful bulgogi and drenched in a creamy sauce and lots of cheese! Really hit the spot and I could not get enough of it! I also dipped the fries in the tteokbokki sauce, and that was really good too. Overall, we ordered the perfect combo of comfort food, and I definitely want to come back sometime to try their drinks!

Just wanted to mention the great service I had received from the lovely ladies working on a busy Friday. Thank you to Faith, Jordan, Trina, and Janelle for their amazing hospitality and vibes. This place was built off love and you can definitely feel it when you are here. Shout out to Mr. Dan for creating a great establishment that is staffed with a great team. There is no other restaurant in Sacramento that carries the aura Pocha House has.

With our first choice for dinner unexpectedly being closed for vacation and a long line ahead of us at our second, you could say we were in a bit of a scramble to figure out where to go next. Do we go to some place tried and true or stick with our original plan of trying something new? After seeing Pocha House in our Yelp search results, though, it sure didn't take us long to try our luck here! Really, as total fanatics of Korean food, how could we ever say no to the prospect of Korean fried chicken?? Walking into Pocha House, there were two things that immediately struck me - that we didn't have to wait for a table (woohoo!) and that the vibe here is super lively. Not in the loud, rowdy sort of way, but that there was a lot of activity going on - a couple of birthday parties, group outings, some date nights, and possibly even a first date next to us. After taking a look at the menu, it was easy to see why folks come here for all sorts of occasions - their Korean pub-style menu has a little of everything for everyone. From their apps, bar bites, and noodles to soups, stews, BBQ meats, and vegetarian plates, there were more dishes that caught our eye than we could hope to finish! -- BULGOGI FRIES - French Fries Topped with Bulgogi, Kimchi, Garlic Mayo, Kimchi Mayo, Green Onion, and Sesame Seeds...$15 This was so good! The fries were fried to the perfect crispiness and had a lot of toppings. In particular, I liked that they didn't skimp on the bulgogi (though, I'll always take more) and how it well all of the flavors married together. Delish! -- SOY GARLIC KFC - Korean Fried Chicken Wings Tossed in Soy Garlic Sauce Topped with Green Onion & Sesame Seeds Served with Cabbage Salad and Pickled Radish and Jalapenos...$19 The portion felt a little light for the money, but this tasted great. The batter was crunchy and not super thick while the chicken itself was both moist and piping hot. If anything, the soy garlic sauce was a bit on the sweet side, but it really wasn't that bad. While there's nothing about our meal at Pocha House that I regret, I do wish we had come here under different circumstances. Namely, with more people and/or when we were looking for something heftier to eat so that we could've tried more of the menu. Given how we only got two dishes to go with our drinks, this does feel a little incomplete. Though, admittedly, this probably has more to do with my FOMO for the things that we didn't get to check out, like their Budae Jjigae and Fire Booty Booldak! I may not know as to when I'll be able to make my way back to Pocha House, but you can be damn sure I know exactly what I'll be ordering when I do! Plus, I love how they're open late!

Decor and vibes were great. The server was nice but took awhile to get our check towards the end. We ordered the kimchi carbonara, soy garlic kfc and army stew (not pictured). The pasta and kfc were super tasty with a great texture as well as the associated banchan. The army stew was mid and I wouldn't order again, but would come back for the other two dishes again.

Felt like I was at the club here. The environment is very lively. The food was delicious. The kimchi fried rice and wings were my favorite. Food came out fast and service was good. Perfect Sunday funday spot!

The Mandu(dumplings) were fantastic and the right for one person. Also great vibes and great spacing. The service is attentive and caring.

Pocha House came to the rescue when all other restaurants were closed after a concert at Ace Of Spades (they close at 2AM!) Environment was pretty, not too crowded on a Wednesday night Service was quick, seated ourselves down as a party of 4 Menus pretty simple, advertised as a Korean Bar with food on one side and drinks on the other side of the menu Our party ordered Soy Garlic KFC (8.7/10) Very crispy, clearly double fried as they should be, seasoned through, cooked perfectly. They got the sauce down too, you can taste the ingredients (it's not too sweet as places usually are). Big contender for best bite of the night Bulgogi Fries 9.2/10 Honestly, we only ordered these because we saw a review raving about it. Normally don't order French fries at restaurants just because we're skeptical. These did not disappoint. Fries came super crunchy and still had a nice bite in the middle. Seasoned well, the kimchi topping was better than the side Kimchi order. The Bulgogi was some of the best I've had. Seasoned well, cooked nicely. Sauce on the Fries was really good, couldn't tell what it was. Soondubu (Spicy Tofu Soup) 8.5/10 Pretty standard, would order again, spice level was tolerable and similar to what we get at other places. Seasoned nicely. Not pictured (Tteobokki) (Spicy Rice Cakes) 8.5/10 Pretty standard. Would order again, the serving dish is a little shallow and messy but it was pretty. Rice cakes were cooked nicely, fish cake was a nice addition. The egg was nice too. Seasoned well, not too salty like a lot of other places are. Pocha House was a great choice, would definitely come back (and try their alcohol) it was late and we had over an hour commute back. Thank you for the hospitality

Ambiance was great, they played all the current hip-hop and R&B jams. Was def vibing singing along on very warm early summer evening. It's an interesting decor with a dark base of smoke gray/black but with pops of color from what looked like fluorescent lighting? But it was daylight so I don't know for sure. Service was great, Justine and Kim (on the first visit) Ang and Em (on the second visit) were very kind, hospitable, and super cool. Granted it seemed like I got there before a dinner rush both times, I think there was only two parties there at the time each time. They said there's a DJ Friday nights at 10, but not clubby haha. Onto the food (which was ordered to go), the spicy pork bulgogi came with kimchi and rice. Not spicy either, which always scares me at first with Korean spices haha. But thankfully this one wasn't over the top. I did hear the spicy KFC is spicy though, in case you're thinking of ordering it. The dish was definitely tasty, you know it's good when you're lightweight sad it's all been eaten. When you put all elements of what a good eatery should be, this place hit all the checkmarks. Would definitely come back and dine in for future dinners in Sac Midtown.

Great drinks and great vibes! A cool place to hang out with friends and get some good food. My go to drink is the pink venom! Always treated well by staff. Definitely recommend coming here!

A coworker and I checked out this place after work. Unfortunately they don't have a happy hour menu Server was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was chill with their TVs on. Food came out quick and was good. I'll be coming back

Came here for an event last month and couldn't wait to return. My peeps and I had a little bit of everything and were so full after. I started with a pineapple cider and boy was it tasty. While I enjoyed my cider I probably would have been better off with sharing two soju bottles with the tables. Once my party arrived per the suggestion of the server we ordered a lychee soju for the table and whew it creeps up on ya! For the appetizer we ordered the bulgogi fries which gave us some of everything and yooooo it was so good!!! From the kimchi to the bulgogi the mix of flavors were chefs kiss. As a non beef eater I did taste the bulgogi and it was so good . A little sweetness to the meat and well seasoned. Had to stop myself from eating more but wanted to at least see what the hype was as I didn't taste it the previous visit. For the entrees two of us had. Soy KFC and the other had the tteokbokki with added fried seaweed rolls. While they don't have happy hour which is of course a bummer for 3 entrees, 1 appetizer, 2 drinks, and a bottle of soju all for $118 that's pretty darn good in my book!!! I'm so mad at myself I didn't get our servers name as she did a phenomenal job and was legit the only person handling the entire front. Also shoutout to the bartender for stepping in a helping her as well when the place started to get packed with people. I can't recommend this place enough! I can't wait to return to try the spicy pork bulgogi and fire botty booldak. Ample parking around but make sure you park in spots with enough time to enjoy your time worry free of parking enforcement

Such a trendy spot with great food! The food: Hot Cheetos Corn Cheese love this! Spicy Korean Fried Chicken very spicy and delicious! I'd order both of these dishes again. If you love corn cheese and hot Cheetos then getting them in one dish is an obvious choice. If you love spicy food then I'd also recommend trying the spicy KFC. The restaurant has lots of fun lighting and art work to really give this place a fun vibe for a hangout or date. I went super late one evening and really thought this place looked like a fun spot with a decent amount of seating.

Came in for the first time and immediately loved the decor and the vibe. There was great music playing and a lot of energy from other guests. Our server was very helpful and answered all our questions. At his recommendation we ordered soju which we'd never had and really enjoyed. My friend got bulgogi while I opted for the donkasu. Everything was flavorful and came in perfect portions. I'll definitely be back, everything was incredibly delicious.

Interior = Fun, vibrant, energetic atmosphere with cool, neon lighting. I had a group of ~12 and we sat down decently quickly and were served as soon as possible. Service was really good when my group and I were here, so we had a good time hanging out and chatting. Food on the other hand was very pricy for what they make. Don't get me wrong, the food is tasty, but honestly not worth the price tag. Good experience, but I probably won't revisit for the food, but mainly for the Pocha atmosphere. FYI, parking is very limited, so street parking is honestly the way to go.

Stumbled upon this place for a drink and ended up having a blast. The food was amazing and I would recommend the Bulgogi Fries and Rosé Pasta for any new combers. The entire place is decorated to match the theme of Halloween and is definitely a vibe. Sierra, Yasmine, and Trina were fast and efficient with the food and kept the drinks coming. I really appreciate the time that this staff puts into this place which makes it so great. 10/10 if you ask anyone in Sacramento.

We were craving some KFC and decided to give Pocha House a try. We got there around 5/5:30 and it was completely empty, so initially we weren't even sure if it was open. After speaking to a server, we sat down and ordered a few things. This is definitely a drinking restaurant - all of the food is intended to pair with your alcoholic beverage of choice. To start, we ordered the mandu and fried gizzards. The mandu were okay - I think our least favorite item of the night. The fried gizzards were amazing, though you get a lot of them. Even the "bites" are quite large and perfect for sharing with 3-4 people, otherwise with just 2, you'd get totally full. We also tried the tteokbokki. The sauce was so flavorful - you can taste the backdrop of the lovely anchovy broth and it was actually reasonably spicy. If you have a low tolerance for spice, this may be too much for you. Finally, we orderd the spicy KFC. It was fine - but not as good as the tteokbokki or the fried gizzards. There are many more KFC restaurants in Sacramento that are way better. The food was reasonably priced. The drinks were on the high end. A bottle of soju will set you back $14 (they are about 1,300 won in Korea, lol). I don't remember the price of the big bottle of Cass, but I think it was around $12, which is quite expensive, though not as bad as the soju. Overall, the food was pretty good, though we'd definitely try some of their other items next time we stop in.

This was my first time here and the service sucks.... I came here to have a birthday dinner with my friends and will not be coming back. We got our table at 9:35 pm as they messaged us, got our food at 9:50 pm and the serve Janelle came and told us we have 90 minutes for our table and we need to leave by 10:30 pm..... we haven't even enjoyed the food and they were already kicking us out. We also waited 40 minutes for our table at the bar and the fact that they were kicking us out when it wasn't even 90 minutes was so rude. If you do end up here the bulgogi fries are definitely a must have. The Tteok-bokki was a little too salty. Other than that there's not much. Definitely will not come here again.

Pocha House has been opened for quite some time and I've always wanted to check it out! My friends and I visited on a Sunday night just hoping for some drinks and good food. We didn't know that they hold events with live music/djs on Sundays which came with a cover charge which wasn't the issue. The restaurant/bar was very very loud. I couldn't even hear my friend who was sitting right next to me. It was also hard flagging down a server because we assumed they couldn't hear us. Ordering our food was a major struggle too with the music being so loud. It felt more like a club scene which if we knew that was the vibe, we wouldn't have gone. We ordered their Corn cheese: 3/5, wish it would've been warmer and had more corn Bulgogi fries: 3/5, I wish they didn't put as much sauce Flight to Seoul (4 soju shooter flight): 4/5, the flavor combinations were good but I wished it was served with ice or for the drinks to be colder Overall, I would wanna visit again on a day they're not having an event to see if it'll be any different or not.

The inside of this place is so cute and spacious! There are neon symbols hanging from the ceiling that add character. We went as the sun was going down and they don't have any shades to block sunlight so we just sat with the sun blinding us. The service was okay but I think we caught one of the servers on a bad day, it's okay because our main server was an absolute gem. Food quality was good, flavors were also good but the portions didn't match the prices in my opinion. Probably won't go again but it was a good experience.

This spot has top notch customer service; went late Thursday night to finish celebrating my wife bday- i wish i grabbed our waitress name but i totally forgot- we got there right at 11:50pm when their kitchen shut down already, she was still willing to fry up some fries for us! Thank you for the great service! The bar- Willis was the bartender- super friendly and great customer service, made us feel right at home- drinks and shots were perfect- will be back! Overall thanks for the great late evening and service!

This is definitely the spot if you want to eat, grab drinks, and catch up with friends! Inside is very hip and trendy. Music is good but it can be a bit loud. I wasn't expecting much from the food since it's a pocha but it was better than what I what I thought. Their tteokbokki with ramen and cheese was so tasty. Good amount of spice and I liked that you could customize it. They do torch the cheese at the table so you'll get that nice cheese pull. I also got their corn cheese, soy garlic fried chicken, and pork belly salad. The corn cheese was good but the chicken was a bit dry. The pork belly salad was very salty and overcooked. It was my least favorite out of everything I ordered. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She made sure that we got all our food and checked in throughout our meal. The only downside about this place is the parking. They do not have a lot so you will have to find street parking.

Pocha House is a perfect spot to grab some food and yummy drinks on Friday night in Midtown! My friends and I shared the Bulgogi Fries and I ordered the Watermelon Sugar Mojito. I loved the Bulgogi fries, especially the meat! It was juicy and perfectly marinated. I also loved how the fries stayed crisp, which isn't always the easiest with loaded fries. I thought my drink was very good as well. I wish it included fresh watermelon chunks instead of just the watermelon flavor from the Red Bull, but still a solid mojito!

Cool Korean fusion place, very nice and lit up ambiance. Servers were super nice and friendly, we went in their 1 year anniversary and won gift cards! Food was pretty good, very new flavors to me in tens of Korean fusion foods, and there were definitely some delicious plates! My favorite was the pocha noodle salad, it was so refreshing with the perfect amount of spice and umami from the gochujung and sauces. I would also 100% recommend the soy garlic chicken wings, they were so crunchy and the sauce was so yummy! The tteokboki was pretty good, and so were the bulgogi fries but I might try different menu items instead of those next time.
