The 21 Best Restaurants In Chinatown - London - The Infatuation

"At this tight-knit Korean BBQ spot on Wardour Street, Kaytranada pumps from the speakers and LA galbi sizzles from every chrome table’s grills. Pochawa Grill is inspired by pojangmachas in South Korea—stalls where you can eat, drink, and slur words with friends late into the night—and it’s a fun interpretation. The banchan and BBQ platters are prepared and presented to a high standard, and the only sound more constant than the bass is that of ice-cold bottles of Cass being cracked." - jake missing, heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

The Most Fun Dinner Spots In London - London - The Infatuation

"Everyone knows that a little bit (but not a lot) of interactive cooking equals fun at a restaurant. Pochawa Grill also knows that bright pink neons and pumping K-pop ramps that up to the next level. This tight-knit Korean BBQ spot in Chinatown isn’t built for wallflowers. It’s inspired by pojangmachas in South Korea—stalls where you can eat, drink, and slur words with friends until the early hours. Even though it closes at 11pm, good times are still had here by groups small and large. Meat sizzles on tabletop grills and everything, from rib-eye to the LA galbi, is well prepared and presented." - Jake Oliver, Daisy Meager, Sinead Cranna, Rianne Shlebak

I keep coming back here when around Soho. Service is great, very attentive. There’s always place, never had to queue to get in. Only real downside was the pitcher of cocktail we ordered m, didn’t feel like it had any alcohol in it. There’s strong J-Pop and K-Pop music playing, and it’s a great place to come with friends. Oh, and the kimchi fried rice is a great addition to the meal.

Always have a great time here but recently went with my friend who has several allergies and they gave us an allergy menu while we were in the line, then once in and ordering our waitress still made sure to tell us the allergens in everything she gave to us! She was very kind and attentive to our situation, always making sure to double and triple check. The only thing is, something was marked on the menu as having no nuts so my friend ordered it, the waitress was double checking and told us it does in fact have nuts, thank you to her but they should also correct the menu for other people with allergies. All around a great experience as always

The atmosphere at this authentic Korean BBQ restaurant is excellent, and the food is delicious. We opted for the beef combo, and the marination really enhanced the flavor of the meat. To avoid waiting, I suggest arriving early. On a Saturday evening, we arrived around 6pm without a reservation and were seated promptly. The dining slots are for 1 hr 30 min, which was sufficient for our meal. The service was efficient, with a button on each table to call the server. Overall, it was an excellent Korean BBQ experience.

The place is always filled with people which promoted us to go and visit. We order the lunch set soy chicken and kimchi rice and also sweet and spicy chicken. We enjoyed the kimchi rice and spicy and sweet chicken but the soy chicken was very dry along with the dry rice as you see with the pictures. We asked the server what could be done about it. She asked if we wanted to cancel but then later came saying they can’t cancel. While I understand there are circumstances like these sometimes but offering a helpful solution would be nice especially when you’re hungry. :/

We ordered the pork BBQ set, which was a good amount for 2 people. Also, the side sauces were enough to eat. The food and vibe are matching, though the service is very bad. The staff seemed rude and weren't welcomely to customers put me off.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. The menu has a varied selection from Korean BBQ to small dishes & popular Korean bar foods. We ordered the beef combo and the meat was excellent quality with plenty of lettuce. Good selection of drinks and Soju cocktails too. I recommend getting there early to avoid queuing. We visited on a Friday evening and we were able to sit without a reservation at around 6pm. The slots are for 1h30m, which was plenty of time for us. The service was quick and there is a button on every table to call your server. Excellent dining experience overall.

Visiting during lunch hour and tried their lunch menu for £12 only. You get 3 side dishes. And a main for a variety of choices. Definitely a good deal for lunch.

I love this place! The food was great, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! If you want the music vibe and lights, come on after 7 pm. Food 🥩 -We got the beef combo, and it was a lot of meat, definitely enough for two people. -We got the Ddukbokki and added cheese -A side of rice and kimchi -everything was delicious 🤤 Price 💸 -We pay a total of £72 -I would recommend coming with a group of friends so you can order more and cut down the cost Wait time ⏱️ -We arrived at 5:30 pm and got seated at 6 pm. -The line did get longer throughout the night.
