Pocono Plaza Inn

Okay so basically I LOVE this place. The pools are great and amazing if you have kids. Speaking of kids, they have an area where you can play pool with family or friends, and your kids can play with the games they have! But mostly for the adults and maybe kids they have a sauna. They have a fitness area that is just perfect for getting strong. Customer service is great, most of them are very happy and spunky! They bring a smile to my face when I see them. Plus, I think they have breakfast and when I occasionally wake up early I had some great breakfast😋. I love the beds and they were so comfy the bathroom in my room was just great. Overall my experience at this hotel has to be a 5-STAR⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Come here for a fun experience with family and friends I’m 100% sure you would love it here!

the most tackiest hotel i ever stayed in. & it’s super inconvenient the set up sucks. it’s hot everywhere u go instead of the rooms .. no elevator & it takes forever to get to ur room.the indoor pool stinks it smells like curry through out the hallways. but i guess u get what u pay for. janky productions. this place is super inconvenient & annoying & it smells bad

This hotel is my favorite hotel it's like stepping into a time machine and traveling to the late 70's the atmosphere is a little sketchy, but the property is so cool! The price is on point, and the hotel staff have always been very professional and courteous. The tiki bar and conversation pit are so awesome!

My dad has brought me here more times than I can count. You pay for what you get. There are quite a few things that should be fixed, but Its still a very enjoyable place to stay at. All the times I’ve stayed here have been so fun and the staff started upgrading our rooms to be by the pool😃 We will keep coming back.

We came to Pocono Plaza Hotel on the suggestion of a family friend who used to stay there with her daughter decades ago. The price was extremely affordable! It was a step back into time for us. Some may say it was out dated and old, but I found it quite charming. The lobby was decorated for the holidays and the staff were all VERY accommodating to our family. They let us come open our presents Christmas morning in the lobby by the fireplace surrounded by Christmas cheer, gave us suggestions on where to spread our reindeer food outside so Santa could find us and reassured us that he never misses a year there! The indoor pool area was amazing! Space for the little one to run around and the teenager to play. The food at the bar was great too! If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, home like environment I highly recommend this place! I’m hoping we will be able to visit again!!!

Terrible. We were looking for a 1 night quick stay. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The pool is closed. The rooms are dirty and smelled weird. We were woken up at 4am, 6:30am, and 8am by the sprinkler alarm. Come to find out it hadn’t been serviced since 2019. (FIRE HAZARD). I went to take a shower and the ceiling had fallen into the tub over night. The manager was very rude and not willing to refund me. Do NOT stay here.

Building looks nice from the outside. Inside however needs updating. The hallway reminded me of something from a horror movie 😂 Our room was very old and outdated and had some kind of dried up sauce running down the wall that it looked like blood 😬 The jacuzzi had hair and what looked like red paint chips inside it. Ceiling tiles in the hallway showed water damage and need to be replaced.The view of the pool from our balcony was nice. Restaurant and bar were closed for remodeling. Giving 3 stars only because it was apparent they are doing renovations and maintenance to update the hotel. It most definitely has potential and can be a really nice place if and when everything is fixed.

Online pictures were deceiving. Rooms smelled, weren't very clean, doors didn't make me feel very secure. The only good thing about this place was the girl at the front desk. The Inn was booked solid with what appeared to be a large family reunion/birthday bash and she was flooded with people- she graciously dealt with some people who were difficult, to say the least. She was able to move us from the first room offered to us because it smelled horrid. Our new room still smelled but not as bad. We had a second room for the rest of our party and that room had a smell as well. The pool area looked like it might be nice, but we didn't visit because it was taken over by the large party that weekend. I would never stay here again.
