I think I enjoyed saying the name of this place more then the food. That doesn't mean the food was bad, it's just fun to say "Pod-nuhs" (southern for "partner's"...I think).
I tried the two-meat meal, which comes with two meats, two sides, and the "trimmings". This consisted of brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, some pickles, some whole jalapeños, and some Texas Toast (e.g. white bread toasted with butter). Once you get your meats, the rest of the meal is buffet-style where you choose and serve the sides yourself.
The BBQ was pretty good but didn't blow me away. There was no intense smoke flavor cooked into the meat and the barbecue sauce was average. The baked beans were actually outstanding tasting, but they left a pool of oil on my tray which was kind of suspect.
Overall, it was a decent BBQ meal at a good price point, but nothing really stood out as excellent or memorable. Given the other options in the area, its probably worth trying out if you're visiting.
