Just walked out of the store and am writing this in the parking lot. I walked in and was greeted by Cameron, who was awesome in assisting me. Cameron had me change to testing socks, walk over a floor sensor, and 30-second walk on a treadmill to check how I stepped. He presented me with multiple shoes, but the pair I liked didn't come in a color I preferred. I'm traveling before a pair I liked would arrive. So I was unable to purchase any shoes at this location. Definitely, stop in when you need new shoes. I highly recommend this location

Orlando helped my friend and I try on about a hundred pairs of shoes last Saturday and put up with our shenanigans for probably close to two hours. He knows shoes and was genuinely pleasant while we tried everything they had (except Brooks). He didn’t push for a sale but we bought some anyway of course. He also did a gait analysis for us both and explained our results! If you’re going to Point 2, look for Orlando!

The evaluation for proper shoes is great! When me & my husband arrived we were greeted quickly and helped in a timely manner. As I stated at the beginning my issue would be little complex. They were super friendly at first but as time went I could tell the entire store was aggravated with us. Maybe one employee shouldn't take on 2 people at one time. I only tried on 4 pair of shoes so not sure what the issue was or inconvenience for them. My husband did purchase the shoes he picked but I did not. At that point I'm not purchasing shoes from somewhere I don't feel comfortable at!

Thank you, Lizzy, for your excellent recommendations! I’ve been running in my Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23s for the past few months, and when I tried the new model, I found it had more cushioning than I’m used to for a daily trainer. After trying on several pairs and benefiting from your patience and expertise, I ended up going with the Hoka Arahi 7s. I was genuinely surprised—I always assumed Hokas were overly cushioned, but these felt noticeably more supportive and firm than expected. Thanks again for the great recommendation! I’m looking forward to coming back to the store. Edit: received my shoes today! Love the color scheme, subtle but elegant.

I had a great experience at this store thanks to Hailey. She walked me through a really detailed fitting process—measured my feet, recorded my running, and explained what kind of shoes would actually work best for me. She also helped me find a few accessories I didn’t even know I needed, which ended up being super useful. It was way more in-depth than I expected, and she clearly knew what she was talking about. What I appreciated most was how she made the experience feel personal without ever being pushy. Even with other customers around, she was able to give me the attention I needed and kept everything moving smoothly. Friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful the whole time. If you’re heading in, I’d definitely recommend working with Hailey. She made the whole process easy and enjoyable.

Visited the store for the first time and had a fantastic experience! Lauraine was incredibly helpful and took the time to find the perfect running shoe for me. I’m confident this will make a big difference in my running journey. The store offers a great selection with prices that are right in line with other retailers—and the fact that it’s a small business is a huge bonus. Highly recommend!

I have had a number of recent orthopedic issues and was recommended to check out Point 2 by my orthopedic doctor (and everyone I know in the running community). I visited with a friend in search of the solution to all my problems on a Saturday afternoon and the store was quite busy - but this was no problem at all for the staff! Orlando listened to all my worries and preferences, did a gait analysis on me, and filmed me running with an iPad on a treadmill. I learned a lot about my running and he even did a sizing on me and I'm now in a much better sized shoe. I tried on nearly every shoe they had in my size. Orlando was super fun to work with and balanced both me and my friend's requests simultaneously. I never felt rushed or pressured to purchase, just that Orlando was looking out for me to be genuinely happy with the products I purchased. I wish I came and did this 2 years ago because the staff at Point 2 are knowledgeable about their products and would have saved me a lot of headaches in the past year. I will be back for more down the road! Thank you Point 2 Running & Orlando!

I purchased my first pair of Hokas a few weeks ago. Never being to this store, I was very impressed. I worked worked with Cameron and advised him about the problems I have with balance. He took time with me and helped me thur their process. It was a great pleasure working with this establishment and how they help you get fit with the correct shoes. Thank you Point 2 Running Company, I will return for more shoes.

Yelp
The girl who helped us had short hair and was awesome. Sorry I forget her name but she had such great customer service and was really helpful in analyzing g my gait and feet. She suggested shoes and brought a lot out for me to try. She, without any prompting, brought a good selection. She had to go back and forth to the back to ensure I could get the right fit first then sample the different styles. So nice! I ended up with the Brooks Ghosf. Excited to try them out. The lady who checked me out was so nice. Great customer service all around. I'll come back for sure.

Yelp
I have decided that I am going to run a marathon. Not just one, but one on each continent. I have only ever run a 5K before. I ran cross-country in high school, but that was over a decade ago. Needless to say, I needed to start with the right shoe. After some research, I realized I should start with a gait analysis. Enter, Point 2 Running! I chose this place based on previous reviews and how close it is to home. I'm so glad I went. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a woman working behind the counter. I let her know I was there for my analysis, and she took my name down. I roamed the store for a little under 10 minutes until my name was called (and correctly! I appreciate anyone who takes the time to pronounce my name properly). The absolute angel that helped me today was Amanda. She's the reason I've decided to get back into leaving reviews. As a newbie in the world of running, I didn't know what to expect outside of my TikTok and YouTube research. I thought I would be overwhelmed with information. I let her know I had no intention of purchasing anything today--I came to learn more about my feet, basically. She was so kind, open, and understanding! Most of all, she explained everything to me in a way that made sense. She immediately gained my trust. I found out that my feet are actually half a size bigger than I thought this whole time. We did the rest of my analysis. It's really cool technology if you've never done it before. Apparently, I have a light pronation when I walk and overpronation while running. She explained what all of that meant thoroughly to me and answered all my extra questions. Then she brought me to the section of stability shoes for running and explained why those shoes would work best for me. Every shoe I tried on felt like I was walking on a cloud. I wish I had more time to spend in the store, but I had another appointment to get to right after. If she ever sees this, she may think it was just another day at work, but for me, she really helped me along my journey. When I complete my first marathon, a small part of it will be because of her, and I will always be grateful for that! She didn't try to upsell me; she genuinely helped guide me in the right direction. When I'm ready to purchase my shoes, I will be coming back to shop with Amanda. If I could give this experience more stars I would. She deserves a raise! You have a customer for life in me. :)

Yelp
From the first 30 seconds that i walked in. i was greeted and asked if i needed help( i needed new shoes for an upcoming race). the person who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable about what i needed. the selection of shoes were really diverse and i was able to find a shoe that best fit my needs. the price for each shoe and socks were really reasonable and didn't break the bank. i'll definitely be a repeat shopper

Yelp
It's crazy that I've lived across the street from this store for five years and have done some of the Monday night runs that originated from their location, but I had never purchased a pair of shoes from their store. I did go on MLK day during the afternoon, and the wait to see a store rep got to about 30 minutes, and I had to go, I had to get back to work. So I went back a couple of nights later. Lauren was really sweet, very knowledgeable. She measured my feet, and we did the whole analysis, which includes a few questions, the treadmill analysis, and the foot sensors to figure out where my pressure points were high and low. She brought out four pairs and I eventually went with a pair of Saucony shoes. And they were on clearance so I got to save a few bucks in the process. Are prices cheap? They're not, but they do sell top brands, and you really do get what you pay for. Check it out, we def don't have enough places like this on the peninsula.

Yelp
Fantastic specialty running store in the city point area of Newport News. Great selection of running shoes, apparel and gear, excellent service by knowledgeable staff. Was in the area for work and ended up buying a new pair of running shoes- a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here. I came in dire need of new running shoes, as I have a PT test coming up. Genny helped me with a gait analysis where I ran on the treadmill and she recorded how my feet land. She recommended 3 pairs of shoes, on clouds, HOKAs and brooks. She also helped me with trying on some compression bras, but they didn't have my size and I got some running socks. I also bought a Fanny pack to put my phone in while running. She was very patient and answered every question thoroughly & even told me about a running club event they host every Monday. I went with the HOKAs but they didn't work, thankfully I was able to exchange them for a pair of Brooks which I love. I would definitely return here and I recommend this place to everyone!

Yelp
I recently visited Point 2 Running Company at Tech Center in Newport News. I brought in 2 pairs of old worn shoes to ask the sales associate about my wear pattern. Linda was very helpful, told me to throw away one pair and keep the other pair for yard work. Then she measured my feet and brought out several pairs of shoes to try. I selected Adrenaline, since I had some before and liked how they looked and felt. She also told me about getting $5 off a pair of socks, so she helped me with those. Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive to me. I definitely will be purchasing my next pair of shoes from that store. Check them out!

Yelp
Purchased a pair of Brooks while visiting family in Newport News. Service at fitting was above par. Shoes needed to be ordered, and shipped to SC - call received from store to insure that shoes had been received! Now, 90 days later, an issue developed with the shoes. Called, spoke with Ruthie who went above and beyond to have the shoes replaced for me. Blown away with the level of customer service. Frank H

Yelp
This place is fabulous! My fiancé and I are new to running and have been having pain in our ankles and knees. They were immediately able to identify the issue through their very detailed analysis of your feet and running style. They were so helpful in identifying shoes at various price points that fit our needs, and they were patient as we made our decisions. Elisa was a joy to work with; my fiancé had his fitting first, then I decided I'd like to have one at the last minute. She was so accommodating and personable. We've found our new favorite shoe store - will be revisiting often!

Yelp
I have to be upfront, we didn't actually buy anything here. They have a great selection of top-notch shoes and accessories. Perhaps a little bit too top-notch for the growing feet of my 12-year-old. But sensing this, the sales woman nevertheless gave us some very valuable free advice regarding my son's shoe fitting. The fact that she was so passionate about running, really left a super positive impression with us all. I'm a runner myself having completed a number of marathons, half marathons 10Ks etc., And I can tell you this place has everything for the running aficionado, a really world class runners' store, if you ask me. The 12-year-old may have gotten his shoes somewhere else but daddy will be back for sure!

Yelp
My dad gave me a gift card that was at least 6 years old. Not only did Ruthie work with the manager to accept it, they gave me an activation code that enabled me to buy shoes online that were on sale. Excellent customer support, excellent products, I would highly recommend Point 2 Running Company.

Yelp
This is by far the best place to get fitted for running shoes on the Peninsula. And while Running Etc. in Ghent is also an excellent choice with well-trained staff, the process here is more fun and interactive. They have an arch scanner that shows the shape of your feet and balance, and they have you run on a treadmill and record it to show you what your feet do in motion. Just for kicks I took a scan of my feet and showed the sales attendant how alien they are- totally flat with large pressure peaks on the outside, middle part of my foot. They also use a brannick device to measure your feet, which can help narrow down a model of shoe based on how the width runs. It's essentially the same process that chain Road Runner Sports uses, just without the upselling of custom insoles. The shoe selection is decent, though they unfortunately don't carry my two preferred brands (Adidas and Nike). Brands that they do carry include Asics, Brooks, Saucony, Mizuno, New Balance, Newton and Pearl Izumi (and I'm sure I'm missing a few). I am impressed that they always have lots of clearance options, and the apparel and accessory selection is also solid. I LOVE the new space at Tech Center. It's very open and modern. Staff are terrific, and they also all run! I noted that despite it being pretty close to closing time on a seemingly busy Saturday, they were happy to offer customers coming in the full gait assessment.

Yelp
This is the best running store I've been in. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They did a full evaluation of my feet and running style to find the type of shoe I needed. She then recommended and brought out 4 different pairs of shoes and let me try each one. She even let me hop on the treadmill with each one to make sure I got the proper fit. I will definitely visit again when I'm in town again!

Yelp
I have to confess, I've bought clothes from here but am yet to buy any shoes from here. But my favorite part is the runs that they organize every Monday evening at 6 (you can always find details on their FB page). Not only is this 3 mile/5k the easiest way to get a run in if you lack motivation, it's also open to every pace and there's always so many people that you wouldn't feel conscious even if you weren't fast. The run leaders are always encouraging. Sometimes you can demo shoes/other products depending on which reps are visiting a particular Monday. Just such a great free activity for runners and non-runners in the area who want to run and need accountability.

Yelp
I came to the store today to try out their free gait analysis. What a deal! They took the time to go through my entire analysis and listen to my wants and needs for my triathlon training. Afterward they spent about 30 minutes going thru a wide range of shoes tailored to my running style and didn't pressure me to make a selection. I'd highly recommend this store to anyone looking to improve the quality of their training. Sure, the prices are a little higher then a standard chain shoe store, but the personalized service and knowledge of the staff easily make up the difference!

Yelp
What an awesome store!! If I could give 10 stars I would. I'm new to running so I went in a few nights ago to get fitted for shoes. Cris helped me out and she was a joy to work with! I told her the issues I was having and she offered options for me to try on. She made me feel so comfortable and appreciated! I ran in the shoes last night and they are perfect. I'll definitely be coming back and thank you so much Cris for helping me!

Yelp
This is the perfect running store. Granted, I am a new runner with little experience or knowledge, this shop still blew me away. The one word I kept thinking of was hospitality. I came to Point 2 as a new runner to get some guidance on which running shoes to purchase. I was expecting them to point at the wall and say "here's some running shoes. Let me know if you need anything else." And walk away. But this is FAR below the wonderful experience I had at Point 2. They welcomed me as I walked in, and as though they were my friends, began to walk me through some basics of running form in order to pinpoint the shoes I need. After going through the fitting, the young man (I think his name was Steven) ran to the back and brought out about 7 different pairs of shoes for me to try! He waited patiently as I tried them on, never seeming to be in a hurry. He also knew EVERYTHING about every single shoe I tried on. I mean EVERYTHING. I marveled at the knowledge of their employees. At the end I bought the perfect shoes! Overall, a great store, with great selection, and wonderful people. I wish I lived closer because I might go in just to chat!

Yelp
My wife and I live on the Southside, but I received a Gift Card to Point2 and decided to come up and check them out. What makes Point2 stand out? The people, and the service! My wife has been struggling while running for months. Shin splints, all that kind of stuff. She had never been evaluated to see just how she runs, and what type of shoe she needs in order to match up to her running style A few minutes on a treadmill showed her running style, along with a walk across the pressure sensor allowed the folks there to recommend a shoe that would match well with her running style. It has been a couple months, and I am happy to report that my wife is running well, and no longer having those shin splints and other issues. Point2 was able to recommend a shoe that worked for her, and indeed they were right on point with their recommendation! Highly recommended.

Yelp
This is by far the best running shoe store that I have ever been to. Due to its staff of experienced runners, and its use of high-tech technology (more to follow) you are sure to come out with a sneaker that feels like it was designed just for you. When I walked into the store both of the sales staff were busy with other customers, but as soon as one was free, I received personalized attention to find the sneaker I needed. Steve, whom I believe to be either the owner or manager, first had me step on a computer pressure pad to determine what type of arch my foot has. Then, he had me walk and run onto this same pad to determine whether or not my feet pronate or supinate when I run (roll inwards or outwards). Finally, he had me jog on a treadmill while barefoot, while filming my feet, in order to see exactly how I run. After all this, it turned out that I had between a moderate and high arch, that my feet tend to pronate, and then I run on my forefoot. Steve used this information to find three sneakers designed for me. The first one he offered has to be the best fitting sneaker I have ever put on. Overall, I had a great experience at Point 2 Running Co. I highly recommend this store for both beginning and veteran runners; you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Excellent service from knowledgable staff who can measure your standing foot posture and make informed recommendations for products. I was looking for minimalist running shoes and settled on the Merrell M-Connect series. The store has a treadmill to test the shoes, which is awesome.

Yelp
The experienced staff of runners in this store made it completely worthwhile. I'm currently in the process of training for my first marathon ever, and I have little distance running experience outside of this. At no point when I was in the store did I feel "judged" or uncomfortable with what the staff was telling me. They explained in clear detail why I should consider the type of shoe they recommended for me, and they described it in a way that even a dummy like me could understand. What I also appreciated was that they did not aggressively try to push the more expensive brands of shoe to me; they explained the additional benefits to me, but also made sure to explain how the cheaper pair of shoes also satisfied most of my running needs. The 10% military discount was greatly appreciated as well. If you're serious about running, it's worth it to come here. You're likely not going to leave here with a pair of shoes costing less than $80.00. However, if you are doing something serious as running 26.2 or 13.1 miles (even if you're not running for time), it's worth it to come here. Your feet will be thankful!

Yelp
Top shelf products and service. I like to get what I want, when I want it, and these folks delivered. I got prompt service and paid no more than I paid for these shoes 5 years ago. Also, the ladies in the store are very agile in conversation, witty, and were able to keep up with a scattered brain. Well done and I'll be back.

Yelp
An excellent running store equipped with knowledgeable and friendly employees. They are active in the running community and have the best products and prices! My number one go-to store for any running need! Highly recommend!

Yelp
We visited Point 2 Running for the first time on Black Friday of this year. They were pretty busy, but everyone was so friendly. We worked with Paula. She was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Highly recommend visiting!

Yelp
I highly recommend this shoe store! My heals have really been hurting since I started increasing my steps per day. Barbara had me step on a mat to see how I distribute weight standing and as I walked across the mat. Then I walked on a treadmill so she could see if my foot pronated. I wanted a highly cushioned shoe with good arch support. Barbara brought out 3 and then another 4. I walked around on each and got to walk on the treadmill to see how it felt. I tried on Nike, Asics and Brooks. The three rows of shoes recommended for my feet ranged in price from $110 to $160. I liked that the sales rep brought me some previous version of shoes that were on sales but not shown out front. It made me feel like I was getting a good variety of options and didn't feel pressured to buy a higher priced shoe. I decided to go with Brooks for $120 which will be a first for me. You can't beat the free assessment and excellent customer support. I'll be back.

Yelp
This store is great if you are starting to get serious about running or if you are looking for a great community of active people and staff. They do a standing, walking and running analysis of you and consult your needs when helping you pick a pair of shoes. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality service offered and the staff is not commission based so they really want to help you get the right shoe. Will definitely be going back in the future for my shoe needs and for their running groups. Shout out to Barbara and Fred for helping me pick out the perfect shoes for my 10k and general training!

Yelp
I love this store. They have a very nice selection of shoes and accessories. They are very helpful and they really went above and beyond helping me to find the perfect pair of shoes for me.

Yelp
Best running store in the peninsula! I used to be a running etc. customer but what converted me was the running groups. Point 2 has all running abilities at their running groups. That allows you to network and get in with people who have similar goals which is the biggest part of staying motivated for running. They have great info for upcoming runs and usually have a discount code if some sort, you just gotta ask. As far as shoes go, they have a vast selection. I didn't give them all 5 starts because they don't have many trail shoes. They had two pairs of Merrells last time I shopped for trail shoes. Considering the store is a two hour drive from some great hills and trail running and 5 hours from the Appalachian Trail, they definitely need some trail shoes. You WILL find something that works for you if you are looking for anything other than trail shoes. The staff knows a lot and can help you find what you need. The store has various technologies that allow you to scientifically understand what shoe types you need.

Yelp
I cannot explain how perfect this store is for every level of runner. My husband and I are not marathon runners by any means; however, we never felt "out of place" or like we needed to be purchasing our shoes elsewhere. We stopped in after a long day at a local college camp with our grouchy 16 year old to have my husband properly fitted for shoes. He is probably the most "indecisive" man that Erin has ever dealt with. After trying on several pair, he ended up going with the pair Erin and I both heard him mention at least 10 times! The gentleman (sorry, forgot his name) working with Erin on 4/17/2014 was wonderful as well and even put up with my moody and tired son to have him properly fitted. In the end, I ended up getting fitted for shoes as well and my husband and I left extremely happy with brand new running shoes! This place is awesome!! They have a wonderful selection, AWESOME customer service and Erin has TONS of patience for those "indecisive" customers. This is a great place to find the right shoe for your foot and they have a wide selection to match your style with that fit as well. I was truely impressed that with all that Point 2 Running offers that the prices were right in line with other stores that do not offer the fitting service or knowledge that they have. Way to GO! I can't imagine buying shoes from anywhere else in the future, well worth the drive from Chesapeake. We WILL be back!

Yelp
Great local running store with super friendly, knowledgeable team. The challenge for a local running store (or any local business) is competing with on-line retailers and asymetric competition from off-price and in this area, military retail. Point 2's value overcomes all of that -- Smart, humble team. Gait analysis. Great product line. Military discount. Incredible Return policy. In short, they work very hard to make sure you are 1 happy customer. Kudo's to the owner's and excellent staff!

Yelp
It's hard finding a thorough running store these days so when I heard about Point 2 I had to go. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and got me just what I needed for a very competitive price. They put me on a treadmill and analyzed my running style and found a few styles that worked for me. I'm very impressed!

Yelp
Drove to this store today from Richmond. I knew what shoes I wanted as I had already done my research on the shoe I needed and I know a thing or two about running since I log over 150 miles per month. Well this store has a sign in sheet when you come in because I'm assuming the majority of their customers need assistance in finding the perfect running shoe. That is fine and I understand assisting your customers the best you can. However if you are going to have two columns on your sign in sheet one stating "I need to be fitted" and the other stating "I know what I want" then have an associate dedicated to the folks like me that check the box under "I know what I want"! I STOOD IN THIS STORE FOR 38 MINUTES!!! The entire time I was there not a single associate greeted me, asked me if I needed help, or at least acknowledged my wait. This store had three associates working, one never left the register (to her credit she had a line) and the other two were working with customers trying on shoes then going to the treadmill and then trying on shoes and going to the treadmill. All the while I'm just standing there (signed in of course). So while I was patiently waiting I watched another customer come in and begin to ask about a shoe he was told by the blonde associate to sign in, he signed in under me, and she assisted him while with her current customer, skipping me. Keep in mind I already knew what I wanted (Hoka one one Gaviotas size 10.5). Came to this store bc Hoka's website said they were in stock here. So the guy who butted in line needed a fitting too. So I quickly realized that this was a waste as I wasn't going to get any help, so I called my wife who was out walking the shopping center with my daughter and told her to head back to the store As I was tired of waiting and that the customer service was too terrible to justify shelling out $159. The funny thing was the associate working the register overheard my phone conversation with my wife saying how ridiculous this place was that she quickly went to the sign in list and called my name as I walked out the door. So if you know what you want don't go here they will not help you which is funny bc you'd think a quick sale is easier than a fitting. Here's an idea, dedicate one of the three associates to folks not needing a fitting and those wanting to buy accessories. That way these people can get in and out instead of walking in getting pissed off over waiting then walking out. I ordered my shoes from runners wear house....better service.

Yelp
Used to go to Running Etc in Norfolk, but was very happy to see a running store on the peninsula. Staff was great and they got me fitted into a great pair of shoes.

Yelp
Walked in looking for a different shoe from the one I had been running in the past 5 years. I explained to Dawn what I had been running in and what changes I was looking for. She made a recommendation of a shoe that I never heard of before, but I tried it on and I was sold; it was perfect for me! Shortly thereafter, I laced them up and went for a very pleasant 8 miles. It was probably the best shoe I ever ran in. This place is a REAL running store! Thanks Dawn!

Yelp
Finally made a visit here as I was in need of a new pair of running shoes. I wanted to ask for some advice on a good pair so decided to take a trip here. Wow, our salesperson was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. In no way was he pushing sales. He explained everything to me in detail and now I get it! I got a good pair of sneakers and excited to put them to good use. Very friendly people. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Best experience I've ever had buying running shoes! You can get your feet digitally measured for arch levels, and then the experts watch you run on the treadmill without shoes to see how you run and what shoes would be best for you. Prices are great, and the staff is extremely friendly knowledgeable.

Yelp
Nice place to get sized for comfortable shoes. It's a lot like blue mile back home. Think walking company but for working out.

Yelp
I've been meaning to stop into this store for quite a while as I knew I needed better running shoes. After a Saturday morning run, I finally came in and was helped by Aubrey. She did a foot analysis, along with videotaping my running, and then recommended some shoes. I've never had such great shoes before, and left the store with three new pairs! The prices were great, the customer service was great, and I will definitely go back.

Yelp
I visited this store in January upon a coworker's recommendation. I was fitted for a pair of shoes and since then, have had very little knee pain. I went back today with my husband to find him a pair of shoes. Everyone is very friendly. Our salesperson today was not nearly as thorough as the last one, but the store was very busy so I can understand. I wish the prices were not so high, but I understand quality costs money. My only other complaint is that they should carry more safety gear ( reflective belts, vests). I will be back next time I need new shoes.

Yelp
UPDATE- I am happy to say that after posting my review on both fb and yelp, I did hear from the manager, who was now gone out of her way to correct the situation. I am happy to say we now have a pair of shoes that fit. Only wish we didn't have to go through all that in the first place.

Yelp
Getting back into running, I knew I needed a new pair of shoes when I kept getting aches and pains. On the Saturday afternoon I came in, it was pretty busy but a courteous salesperson soon started working with me. He used their technology to analyze my feet and it turns out my shoe model was not well suited to my feet. After being given several matches, I went with the brand I'm familiar with. Several weeks of running on the new shoes has resulted in happy legs and nice workouts.

Yelp
Love this running store! Bill was the guy that helped me determine what type of feet I have and which running shoe would be best suitable for me. He was very knowledgeable and suggested a really great shoe for me: Brooks Beast. I was able to run on a treadmill in the store to test out the shoe. I'm flat footed, and the shoe that Bill recommended me was really great for me. I felt that I could run forever with those shoes on. Bill is a great salesman that shared such valuable knowledge. Bill, along with all the other staff members of Point 2 Running Company, welcomed me as soon as I walked into the store. Great PR skills and very welcoming and kind of them to do that. I highly recommend any of you who are in the market for some excellent running shoes to pay Point 2 Running Company a visit one day! They will point you in the right direction when purchasing anything that has to do with running, from shoes to socks, from athletic gear to knowledge about the sport. My favorite running store in Newport News!
