Best matcha in CHS! Lots of Fulton-free options for food which is great. Super cute atmosphere. I wish the barista said your name or put it in your cup because I accidentally grabbed someone’s else drinks and good thing we figured it out before I sipped that drink.

Excellent customer service! Had an issue with my online order and they called right away to offer a refund or replacement. Oh and the food and coffee is great, too! Had the nut butter oatmeal, was not overly sweet which I prefer, and very filling! Would definitely recommend!

As a long-time customer, I’ve noticed changes in food quality and drinks. I have expressed my concerns via email, especially about my to-go orders often missing toppings. Never a response or offered refund. The fruit also tastes like onions and spice (uses same cutting board) and the coffee isn’t that great.

Stopped here on our trip and very glad we did! We ordered two of the ham and egg croissants, the og açaí bowl, and a salty cowboy iced coffee. We loved the food, very flavorful and thoughtfully presented. The coffee did taste watered down- more like flavored milk. But the customer service was friendly and although we found it a bit on the expensive side we still enjoyed our meal.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I always get their egg, cheese, avocado breakfast croissant and whatever seasonal latte they have. The staff is always super nice and welcoming. 11/10 🔥🔥

Google
Love the chill vibe and the team at PB! And I love the gluten free/vegan treat options available fm Mabel Mae’s! It’s always nice to come and grab my go-to cold brew latte with honey and a sweet treat and sit and do some computer work. It’s especially nice with warmer weather because having the grassy area to sit in and soak up the sun is especially nice! I also like the option if it’s busy to grab a seat and order via their website. Will definitely continue coming on the regular! 🙂❤️

Love this spot to come work. It’s a super cute aesthetic and the staff is super nice! They handle complaints with grace and remedy issues. I love coming here <3

If you are looking for the perfect place to grab something on the go for the beach, sit and do some remote work, or gather with friends or family, PB is the place to do it. This locally owned business provides coffees (made to order and specials), smoothies, a variety of yummy bowls, sweet and savory treats. I love a good Cold Brew with one of the many cased pastry items or a hot drip coffee with an OG Oatmeal bowl. You can’t go wrong with any of the items off the menu. Just a reminder though - it is a small business! Exercise your patience if you are placing a large order or in the drive thru. The team works hard to give exceptional service and made to order goodies!

Yelp
First of all Emma was an absolute gem (and I am not just saying that because I am also named Emma)... I had no idea what I wanted and she gave me the best recommendation, was so kind and warm and I felt right at home. There was great bar seating so I didn't have to take up a whole table solo which I super appreciate. The avocado toast is 10/10 and the coffee is delicious ... I don't know who roasts their beans but they are perfect! Pro tip ... definitely add the pickled red onion to the toast!

Yelp
Very nice staff! So inviting. Nice, calm atmosphere to sit, work, or relax. There are tables to sit, swings at the front and server all seats at the bar area. Also have a drive thru which is nice. Ordered an iced Cereal Killer latte with almond milk, it was so so good. I'm someone who likes to have dessert-like coffee and this hit the spot. Cup size is worth the $5.75 + 75¢ for milk alternative. Egg and cheese croissant was huge and the croissant was a buttery, flaky, melt in your mouth type of good. Egg is the premade kind, still great. Cheddar cheese I believe. They press it on a griddle. Added avocado spread for $1.75 (probably wouldn't get that added again bc of the price). They also have several grab and go options. Definitely will be returning!

Yelp
I love the menu and have eaten in and gone through the drive through many times. Prices aren't low but aren't absurdly high either; quality justifies it I think. I have been given the wrong order one time in the drive through but just let it go since it was similar enough, but otherwise--always a good experience. Will 100% return.

Yelp
If the lids would fit the cups, that would be nice. The staff is generally alert. Parking not a problem.

Yelp
I hung out here while waiting for my doggie to finish up at the doggie spa. Perfect place to just chill with a nice cup of coffee and an OMG-HUGE chocolate croissant!

Yelp
Cozy little place that offers drive thru. There is a sign behind the register that says exact change only. I asked if that meant coins or dollars because I only had a $20 on me. She acted like it was a big deal but could accommodate giving change back. My total was $14.90 btw. I ordered cold brew and a large drip. She couldn't tell me how many ounces was in the cold brew "about a medium" was what I was told. Then she showed me the cup.. ok so 16 ounce cup. Geez. If you work here you should know the sizes. In. Ounces. I ordered the last chocolate croissant for my boyfriend. It was ginormous. It was also over $6. I asked about the GF cookies. $9 for 2 cookies was out of my price point. My boyfriend said the croissant was delicious! So definitely try that if they have it when you are there! My cold brew was a little bitter. As in it tasted more like an iced coffee instead of a smooth cold brew, or it had grounds still in the brew. Working in a coffee shop myself, cold brew is my jam in warmer months, and this missed the mark by a lot. My boyfriend did enjoy his drip coffee and said it was good. Not a bad place at all, just being a card i suppose and go for warm drinks.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a quick coffee. The iced latte is brewed perfectly. Service is fast and staff are very nice. We did not try the food, but the plain butter croissants and chocolate croissant looked amazing. Nice place to do work.

Yelp
I left this place this morning because the staff ignored me. Two workers put money in the register less than five feet away. This place won't last.

Yelp
Lovely space, but they don't seem to be very organized and it took about 30 minutes to get an iced coffee. I had the Phatt toast to eat and took it go because everything too so long. I may have gotten there on a bad day so I will have to try to go back again soon!

Yelp
Awesome cold brew! Get this every morning before work. They have great coffee options as well as breakfast and pastry options. Also, they host some fantastic local events like drag bingo, exercise classes, jewelry making, and local markets. Go here for coffee and a snack! The Mable Mae's treats are amazing (and vegan/gluten free).

Yelp
Friendly staff, great location and wonderful food/drink options. So much fun at Drag Bingo!

Yelp
I've been wanting to come and try for so long, I follow them on instagram and obsessed always with their content and their drinks always looks so yummy. So when I had a chance this morning I finally went, and it didn't disappoint! I didn't realize it was in the same area as that Publix right of the James island bridge but parking was so easy there. They have a drive through which is so easy but I went inside and it was so cute very aesthetic and quiet. The people there seemed so cool and chill that worked there, they helped me pick out a yummy drink which was a honey lavender latte with whole milk, delicious. I think lavender is a big trend recently in coffees and sometimes it can be a tad over powering and sweet but I like sweet but this was the perfect amount honestly wasn't too overpowering. I wish I got food but I had lunch plans already but I sat for about an hour there and did some work. Also I usually have headphones because either I don't like a places music or it's too loud but I forgot mine today and was worried but music taste phenomenal, creds to who ever had that playlist on. It is on the smaller side but it was perfect for me to get some work done! Will be back to try their pastries and food!

Yelp
I stumbled on this cafe while trying to find something that was open later on weekend that I could write/read at. They have a simple selection of wines, and their breakfast and coffee selections are really good. My favorite is getting the avocado toast. I have gotten their smoothies on occasion, but so far they haven't wowed me. I've gotten the berry smoothie and it always tastes like straight Vanilla whey. (Either whoever is making it puts too much in, or it has never been blended properly.) The staff is relatively friendly and the times I have been in, the place has been clean and organized. The drive thru is convenient if you're looking to stay on the move, but be warned that the parking lot itself is insanity. (This does not pertain to the business itself, just keep an eye out for the other people around you that cannot drive and haul butt through the lot.) Point Break also hosts several events such as Bingo, Paint and Sip, and a night bazaar.

Yelp
The fact that they now have a drive thru is a game changer! JI needed a fun, cute coffee shop and Point Break delivered! Bites and smoothies are also on point. The coffee is really tasty and reasonably priced. They are also always doing fun pop ups and events so check this place out!!

Yelp
Amazing smoothies and coffees. Greta. Egan options. Not crazy pricey. Just a great place!

Yelp
Such a cute spot! I love the convenience of a drive through coffee shop with the option of great ambiance inside. The inside is absolutely adorable with plenty of seating in a great 'instagram-able' environment. As long as you can handle a bit of noise at peak times, there are plenty of tables to bring a laptop to for a change of WFH scenery or to meet a friend. They serve coffee and tea/smoothies etc. that you would expect from a coffee shop, and also have a curation of wine! The coffee is strong (a good thing!) and the food options are great. I have not personally been blown away by the food, but have never been disappointed!

Gwen O.

Yelp
This place is super good, they give you so much avocado on the toasts and it's a super good value when other places give you like one slice for the same price.

Kayshawn M.

Yelp
I ADORE THIS PLACE! The staff and owner are the SWEETEST! I so enjoy the food, service, and the atmosphere!

Anna Claire S.

Yelp
Genuinely my fav coffee shop in the Charleston area. So many options for food and drinks, with a great atmosphere to sit and do work, with easy parking. This is very hard to find in Charleston. The drive thru also makes it super easy to swing by, and I love the açaí bowls!!!!! Can't beat it!

Yelp
Me and my hubby visited for a wedding from Florida , thought the atmosphere was amazing! Super cute store, however the food? Oh my. Bland and disgusting. The girls were quite sweet working there but for the price of everything . TOTALLY a rip off. I got an uncooked bowl of oatmeal w fruit topping because they didn't have Yogurt. The oatmeal wasn't flavored so I just got raw unflavored oatmeal with some fruit on top. My husband got a ham egg and cheese croissant and they asked if he wanted avocado. We expected a fresh avocado and were met with a sour limey tasting soup like pesto on it and we tried scraping as much off as possible but the flavor was so strong and strange, then we got two coffees vanilla Carmel coffees. Some regular shots of vanilla and Carmel you get from any store, tasted like something my kid made for me. It was so bland and it made my stomach turn by how sweet it was at the same time. And an everything bagel that wasn't toasted and was LOADED with cream cheese . Which we asked them not to do. We spent a total of $45 on those items. I don't recommend this place for anything but atmosphere and aesthetic. Edit: to add to this the manager (I'm guessing) took it upon herself to message me complaining about my review. I found it highly unprofessional and condescending. I am being honest about My experience and to Each is own. I'm not one for Bland flavorless food. But there are plenty of people who like things with extra extra lime on a Ham and cheese croissant(even though it's called guacamole not fresh Avocado). This was about Me and my husbands experience and im allowed to share it in whatever way I want!! I'm happy I don't live here because Id be scared to walk by!! And since I forgot to mention they forgot to unlock the doors 5 minutes after opening . Doesn't seem like much but me and him sat outside for 10 minutes (prior to opening, our choice we were up Early) watching everyone set up shop and had to Call to get them to come open the door. We were first in line, and there was a hefty line of people after us. We aren't from there as I said and were starving at that point and it was easier to spend the money eat the food and leave a review to help encourage growth in the business . Instead of waiting again for Every item to be remade when they shouldn't have been messed up the first time. Not to be rude. But it was a piece of bread with ham egg and cheese on it . A bagel . And some oatmeal.. and some coffee. I of all people know that's a 15 dollar meal max. And easy to make. - (Since the manager felt the need to point out I didn't bring it back or say anything in her message to me) good luck to this business.

Yelp
Super cute shop & the employees are helpful and kind. Best iced dirty chai I've had!!!!!!

Erin T.

Yelp
This place has my favorite açaí bowl in charleston!! All the juices and smoothies are a ao short amazing. All the workers are so sweet and the manger is the best!! I come here daily for my coffee

Lindy C.

Yelp
Bought a black drip coffee this morning from point break coffee. The shop was very cute and clean, but they only have medium roast for drip coffee. Astonishing that a coffee shop can only have one type of coffee that they sell. Not to mention, was the worst medium roast I have ever had. I am not one to write bad reviews, but it was terrible. The coffee from Saturday at nine in the morning tasted like it was brewed Thursday morning. It was disgusting, burnt, and acidic. No amount of creamer fixed the taste.

Yelp
This has become my new go-to coffee shop for studying! I LOVE that they have a ton of made in house energy drinks that aren't coffee based (lavender lemonade is my favorite). Their coffee drinks are delicious too and they have a great selection of açaí bowls and pastries, including vegan and gluten free! The ambiance inside is very boho chic and relaxing. Couldn't recommend it more!

Franny R.

Yelp
the best açaí bowls in Charleston!!!! the staff are so kind and the vibes inside are electric

Kristina S.

Yelp
Coffee was fantastic! The egg sandwich was delightful. Didn't have time to take a picture because I scarfed it down so quickly! Glad to have this place on JI!!

Alicia N.

Yelp
I live in Charleston and I come to point break frequently! I usually have the OG bowl & an avocado toast and it's the best in town. I drive out of my way to come here for lunch and they have a drive thru if you're in a rush. The people working are also very friendly and the space is beautiful.

Nora M.

Yelp
The place is very unsanitary. There's fruit flies all over the fruit, they will serve expired milk, and leave containers containing food on the ground. I absolutely do not recommend eating here. It's absolutely disgusting.
