Lovely crepes, amazing options. The place has a good ambience. Multiple choices here. Priced well. Parking could be difficult to find but the med store nearby has a parking in the top

Google
Best place for crepes in Georgetown!! We came back 3 times in a week. Coffee, affogato, crepes and Quiche Lorraine are delicious! Also best price-quality balance. Enough space to sit outside and inside. Park in Whole Foods 🤩

Rob M.

Google
The food was excellent and the crêpes were delicious. However, the customer service could be improved. There was very little communication from the staff, and they were a bit abrupt when I brought used coffee mugs to the counter to help out. Usually staff will acknowledge or say goodbye, but in this case there was no response. Took away from the great food

While the coffee shop itself is fine, what I wanted to shout out is the magician Andrew that’s in there! Not sure how often he’s there, but my friends and I got to talk to him (he approached us) and he showed us some neat card tricks. And then he made a little balloon dog) And you can easily think “pfffft the heck is , why should anyone care about a magician” – he made the visit special and memorable! And Andrew was just a sweetie, so we all left with nice coffee and sweet memories! Thx for listening to my ted talk

Google
Nice cozy place to grab a quick bites. The crepe has both savory and sweet selections, however not impressed with the taste and the quality. They have delicious Gelato as well.

Google
Clean shop, friendly staff, food was amazing! Got crape-it was well balanced with stuffing, everything was cooked through and seasoned well. Almond croissant crisp outside.

Google
Without a doubt, the best savory crepe I have ever had. I loved every bite!!! There were really A LOT of choices, but the chef guided me in the right direction— so helpful!!! Nice cozy seating with a variety of different sections. I’ll be back!

Google
Really disappointed with the service. I had ordered and paid for a latte and tipped. Waited 5-6 minutes because I was told it would be brought out to me. I had to step outside to take a call, when I came back inside, there was another person working the counter who acted like I was trying to scam them out of a coffee. It was so offensive. I gave them so many details and answered all of the woman’s questions quizzing me if I had actually ordered. She asked me the time and was trying to pull up the transaction, when she did she showed me the credit card number and asked if it was mine and I said yes. Then, she continued quizzing me and asked what my credit card number was. I told her I just confirmed it with her. I finally showed her the Pending Charge on my app and told her to cancel. I work across the street and will not be back and told everyone in the office this incident and they said they will not go back as well. So rude and could have been handled much better.

Yelp
My friend Mary really likes crepes. Like, really really likes crepes. She ranks those at Point Chaud as among the best. They have an extensive selection of both savory and sweet choices. On the sweet side, you can't go wrong with any of the Nutella combinations. I was really impressed with the savory options, especially the turkey, egg, and cheese crepe. This place can have plenty of seating or be swamped with campers with laptops depending on the time of day you visit.

Yelp
I recommend the crepes and coffee. A great place to meet friends from out of town. The service is friendly. The place fills up inside when the weather gets warm. On average the place is teaming with social activity. I recommend arriving early or late for more prompt service to beat any meal-time rush.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and they definitely have terrible service (the table was filthy when we sat down to eat there last time). This time I had a takeout order; one lady put my receipt and two things together on the table, and blamed me for taking the wrong order (as if I really wanted someone else's food). When I told them they should have a better process, she rudely responded "Yeah, I don't think so." At least acknowledge your mistakes and be professional...

Yelp
The food and service is decent! I always order a matcha here and it has great flavor.

Yelp
May2023: 5: I came here during the graduation ceremony at the adjacent university. We ordered several items of interest and found that the service was decent. The food items were pretty good as well as the smoothie items. The five items we bought were also freshly made while we were waiting for them. The store was crowded with graduates, so it was tolerable to sit inside or outside. The cashier was capable and efficient. There was a decent variety of pastries and sandwich items available. There's no free parking in the area. There's paid street parking available and no dedicated lot.

Yelp
I loved this place! I brought my computer, great place to study/work except their WiFi wasn't working when I went. Their savory crepes were great and filling.

Yelp
Best crepes ever 5 stars nice people very friendly :) Feels like back to Paris France

Yelp
Food: Food was good, not great, no complaints Service: My friend was nearly refused his food due to a mixup in the delivery of his food. One of the employees claimed his food was made and it was outside (we had a table inside) while the other employees stood around and did nothing. Overall they made sure to fix the error and we were eventually given our food but it took a lot of back and forth and they did not make it easy for us. Situation was stressful and time consuming and would probably not return for dine-in. Ambiance: Medium sized cafe, nice enough ambiance inside but most patrons do not pick up after themselves if they dine in, despite there being a place for the dishes and trash. Not too many employees working so tables are often dirty.

Yelp
Good ambiance. It is almost like a European feel . However, the texture of the crepes is nowhere close to what a crepe should be. The apple was not fresh and it felt like eating styrofoam ( if you have tried it). Coffee was good. Nice place to get your work done as it was quite and had enough seating.

Yelp
I have been to Point Chaud a few times and only have good things to say about my experience! There is some limited indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff always try to be attentive and helpful with specific recommendations when asked. Although a little pricey, the pastries have always been so fresh and delicious everything I have ordered them. Most recently, I tried the Ham/cheese quiche and the almond croissant with the hot chocotella (has Nutella in it) and absolutely enjoyed them. They're are also sandwiches available and so many other options. Amazing cafe option for either a quick bite or a fun meal during the day!

Yelp
The banana, berries, and Nutella crepe with a vanilla latte is my cure for any bad mood. It's the perfect pick me up that never fails to bring a smile to my face. It can be a bit noisy, and there's often a lot of college kids coming and going... but it's my favorite little gem in Glover Park.

Yelp
Even on a bad day, you can have a good experience. Amazing crepes. Soft chewy crepe with fresh crunchy blueberry and a bit of ?honey? Coffee was excellent. No wifi. Cash only as credit card machine down. COVID system unclear (purchase and wait inside. No customers with masks). All staff wore masks. Will be back for a moment of relaxation. Not a workers cafe.

Yelp
This is hands down the best place for crêpe in DC. They have a wide selection of flavors, and they're very affordable. I got a chocolate and strawberry crêpe (featured in the picture - the strawberries are inside) and I was not disappointed. I believe they have one or two other locations around the city, which is convenient for whem you're walking around and wanna stop at the closest spot.

Yelp
In need of sustenance, Point Chaud was a welcoming friend just a few feet from leaving the escape room. Not only was it conveniently located on the corner. It's a cute bistro style set up with plenty of seating in and outdoors. Due to the rain we sat inside. They have quite an extensive list of sweet crepes and probably about a quarter amount of that list for the savory options. My sister and I purchased two crepes, one savory and one sweet and divvied both to satiate our sweet tooth and our savory cravings. The feta crepe with chicken was tasty but was a bit on the salty side for my liking. The dessert crepe with chocolate, bananas and strawberries was divine! The iced matcha latte was okay, not bad but not outstanding either. Over all I was pleased with the service, atmosphere and most of all food! They also offer gelato, quiches, paninis and salads as well.

Yelp
I visit DC dor business very few months and has been wanting to try this place near my hotel as it looked cute. Perhaps they have limited hours, as often they are closed when I go by. So yesterday evening, as I walked by, I was able to go in and asked when they opened up the next day. I was told 9 AM. At 9 AM this morning I and a few other people waited outside the door. We could see two women inside doing something, but the door was still locked. We waited for a couple minutes and even knocked, but the women looked at us, and blatantly ignored us. Super rude.

Gracie P.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere. Food is absolutely delicious, literally the best crepes I've ever had!
google avatar

Yelp
Over priced and bland all around. Ordered 3 different kinds of crepes and a mango smoothie for my daughter, the smoothie was slushee and just a concentrated icy water mix. The crepes were flavorless and chewy as hell, their own utensils couldn't even cut threw them. It's as though they threw fruit and chocolate into a reheated crepe from the freezer and threw it on a plate. One of the crepes was missing a fruit I had ordered banana and strawberry with Nutella crepe only got bananas. The only decent thing on the menu was the salmon quiche. But even still that needed a little more salt. The size was small and not worth the price I could've made a whole 9 inch quiche for 70 percent of that price. Spent 60 dollars for these items. Waste of money

Yelp
Had an excellent lunch here today! We had been to the Chinese Embassy and this was nearby. Our 9-week old Goldendoodle puppy was with us, so we sat outside on the patio. Both the DC Brunch crepe and the Chicken Pesto panini were scrumptious, and our pup loved meeting people on the patio.

Tyler H.

Yelp
Suprised it was so underwhelming. Savory crepes had no flavor like not even any seasoning added, actual crepe was overly thick. Overall just lacked much flavor. Coffee was pretty good tho, we also tried a sweet crepe which was somewhat better, but always easier to enjoy when adding sugar.

Yelp
Parking around here is rough so heads up on that. It's got a modern music thing happening which contrasts the more traditional decor. The coffee gave me what I needed, a few more hours of energy to walk around. I wish I had tried something to nibble on. That's a miss on me. There menu is extensive so there's something for everyone.

Yelp
Love their crepes and coffees!! High key want to try everything on the menu. The thanksgiving special crepe was amazing, as was the sour cream & brown sugar one! Highly recommend if you're in the area

Yelp
This is a fantastic little corner café in Georgetown that packs a punch! It offers Italian coffee, lattes, and other drinks, such as teas and a flavorful variety of Yerbe Matés. They offer crêpes, savory and sweet! We ordered a chicken feta crêpe and the chocolate strawberry and banana crêpe. The crêpes are so big that we split the two and it was enough to get a taste of the sweet and savory from each half! We ordered the iced matcha latte without the sugar. It was great! This quaint little café is nestled in Georgetown but you feel as though you're in Italy or France! As you approach the establishment, you're greeted with the cobalt blue umbrellas that provide shade from the sweltering sun (although the day we went, it was overcast and about to rain). Walking in to the café is like entering a French or an Italian café! The decor is light, airy, and organic. The tiled floors are absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They greet you with a smile and are happy to answer any questions or offer suggestions. They sell LavAzza coffee, Swedish chips and candy, as well as German hazelnut and chocolate wafers! We purchased some Italian coffee and German Chocolate wafers for our friend Melissa and promptly scarfed down the German Hazelnut wafers before we were even out of DC proper!!No self-restraint whatsoever when it comes to sugar!! But everything was sooo good!! So check this place out if you're ever in Georgetown!! It's great!!!

Yelp
Not impressed. In fact, extremely disappointed at the caliber of this place as it took over my beloved neighborhood Starbucks while growing up. 1. Poor customer service - I ordered a cold brew and asked if I could get "some sweetener and a creamer" and the response was "you can if you ask for it." ..... OK. Then I asked what kinds of sweeteners and creamers they had because, you know, it's 2021 and the list of potential options can be long. Most coffee shops nowadays offer 2%, nonfat, soy, almond, oat, half and half, among other things. The staff looked at me like I was crazy and proceeded to mumble something confusing about "the options being right there" which I truly did not understand, but did not want to press further. I actually think the guy I spoke with is one of the store managers, which further disappointed me. How rude. 2. Bad coffee - in addition to my very disappointing experience ordering my drink, the coffee itself tasted terrible. Bland, not strong, no flavor - tastes like water almost. Once again, missing Starbucks :( 3. Bizarre aesthetic - truly an eye sore once you walk inside. The flashy designs on the wall and on the floor hurt my eyes, I don't think I would ever get myself to sit or work in here. It is possible that the pastries and crepes are good, but I did not try them, and I do not intend to return to do so.

Yelp
Very Gooood Coffee, The quiche was amazing and then I had the Dc special. Very Delicious and would highly recommend

Yelp
I love this place. I'm only giving it four starts because I hate that they put fence up around the patio. This location used to be a Starbucks and they never had a fence and everyone loved to sit on the patio. Myself and many neighbors find it less appealing to sit out their with the fence up and find our selfs walking over to the bagel shop across the street to sit and eat or walking a few blocks down to the Starbucks. It feels very closed in and can't see what's going on around.

Yelp
Ever since my Paris trip back in 2016 I've been on the hunt for good crêpes, and this place did not disappoint! We had the Nutella and strawberry crêpes (reminiscing about our similar Paris crêpes) and they were amazing! As a Seattle girl I was a little underwhelmed by their coffee, but still obsessed with the crêpes.
google avatar

Kelsey T.

Yelp
Only ever been here to get coffee. I love their lattes so much and i really like the people who work there. There was a point during my finals week i went almost every day and it was so nice! They have my favorite wafer cookies there too. But the biggest plus for me is that they have pasta straws. So fun and hilarious. Ive never used one to drink my coffee but i still love that they're there. Pasta straws!!!!!!
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
Nutella w/ strawberries and raspberries and a side of whipped cream - Crepe was absolutely perfect
google avatar

Justis T.

Yelp
Independent coffee and crepe shop with solid offerings at reasonable prices. The ample menu features Lavazza coffees and a number of milk alternatives. The staff are friendly, and the service is quick. The ambiance is nice, and seating space is ample.

Yelp
****THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT ALLOW EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OR SERVICE ANIMALS**** I went to this coffee shop with a friend and I've been there many times. My friend has an emotional support animal that is trained and very well behaved. As soon as we walked in we saw the manager hiding behind the counter and whispering to staff. Instead of approaching us to ask if our dog was a service animal or even seeing if we could go outside, they immediately asked us to leave. I think it's important to note that there were other patrons at the restaurant with dogs, and they were not asked to leave. We will be reporting this restaurant for not following the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and for discriminating against patrons with disabilities.

Abbas I.

Yelp
So went to do some studying at this place. Ordered a coffee, after about one hour of work I got booted off the network. Manager said "we have a brunch crowd" nobody would get a table. that was a lie the majority of people in that shop were people on their laptops drinking coffee and getting work done. The coffee was good, I was actually about to order food until I saw that I was booted off the Wi-Fi. I was hoping that this was one of the last few DC shops that let you use the WI-FI without such practices but I guess I won't be coming back.

Yelp
I have to give this place 5 stars for a little neighborhood shop dishing out sweet & savory crepes. I'm glad for once a new food option are coming to the Glover Park neighborhood. My recommendation is to look at the menu in advance if your indecisive because once you get up there to order you need to think fast. I did a savory crepe first and then I had to finish with a sweet nutella crepe of course! Both were yummy! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was he cafeteria style plastic plates and silverware. Overall would love to go back to try new crepe combinations.

Ryefinn R.

Yelp
Nice selection of coffee. They also have gelato (ice cream) Got a mocha with an extra shot. Very tasty and did the job to wake me up. There is seating in there along with outside. However, I got the coffee to go.

Yelp
What a perfect little addition to the neighborhood!! We had a group of 7 this past Sunday and we wanted a quick bite and coffee in the morning. We were able to snag a few tables to pull together. Crepes (savory and sweet!) were delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Coffee was good too. Service was quick and efficient making this a good spot for families too! We will certainly make this a regular weekend spot and it's the perfect cute cafe for GP that we so desperately needed!

Neal J.

Yelp
Very nice breakfast place. Great crepes and pastries. Italian Lavazza coffee! The best!!!

Pari K.

Yelp
I ordered an eggplant panini sandwich. Instead I got a crepe filled with zucchini and one large piece of eggplant. Horrible presentation, horrible tasting and not to mention completely messed up the order. If you cannot make what is asked for then don't make it.

Christina R.

Yelp
Awesome neighborhood spot! I've had coffee here a few times ( it's delicious) and recently had breakfast/lunch. Morning crepe was awesome and so was the chicken pesto panini. Great spot to sit outside with your dog and enjoy a nice day.
google avatar

Jordan R.

Yelp
Great cafe that Glover Park desperately needed! We had the egg & cheese crepe and the strawberry banana Nutella crepe. Delicious! Will be coming back.
google avatar

Kpannah S.

Yelp
I got a cafe mocha and a King Samm and my friend got a Chicken panini. I didn't care much for the coffee but their food is amazing ! I will definitely get the panini the next time i visit .

Brooke M.

Yelp
The crepes are sooo good and they have so many different flavors and options. The staff is very kind and friendly. Everything was great even during COVID. Great local coffee shop with a good environment. The Mochatella is amazing as well. (Not pictured but tried it last time I was here)
google avatar

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Their crepes are tasty, but it was disappointing to order a quiche to have it warmed up in the microwave. It ruins it and I would have gotten something else, had I known.
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
Polite service and fairly priced Italian coffee and other treats. A welcomed addition to Glover Park!
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood! This replaced an old Starbucks location. Sweet and savory crepes are fantastic here, and the coffees is on point. During warmer weather, the outdoor seating (right on Wisconsin Avenue) is a nice option.
google avatar

Clare S.

Yelp
A great place for a quick casual meal or a cup of coffee, definitely a good addition to the neighborhood. The decor is super cute and the crepes are delicious, I recommend the nutella and BlackBerry sweet crepe. My friend had one with eggplant that she really liked and I had the classic ham and cheese which was tasty. It would be nice if they were open just a little bit later in the evening.
google avatar

Tamara K.

Yelp
This is probably mostly a matter of personal taste. I've loved crepes - both sweet and savory - for 17 years. I ordered the egg, spinach, and cheese crepe with ham, as well as a strawberry, banana, and Nutella crepe. I also ordered the Nutella hot chocolate (it sounded delicious!). The delivery went well and I was pretty pleased with how the food looked when it arrived. I was eager to dig in. I started with the savory crepe and was put off from the first bite. I'm not sure what the issue was but the taste and smell of the savory crepe wasn't good. It was one of the ingredients inside the crepe but I couldn't tell you which (meaning it didn't seem to be the crepe). I've had this exact savory crepe from other restaurants and have always been very happy with it. I think there was a seasoning or herb that I am just really adverse to but after the first bite, I cut off another piece to try it again and the smell was overwhelmingly off putting. I wasn't able to eat more than the first bite. The sweet crepe (strawberry, banana, and Nutella) was considerably better other than it didn't have the whipped cream on top as I had ordered. That happens sometimes with delivery so I'm not really counting that as an issue. The Nutella hot chocolate was a big let down. It tasted like packaged hot chocolate made with too much water.

S K.

Yelp
Coffee is terrible and service also poor. I asked what "black cherry cold brew" was. A shrug from the counter. "It's cold brew." I would have liked to know you were going to put cherry syrup in a perfectly average coffee thank you. Ugh. I threw it out after one sip.

Sarah G.

Yelp
I ask for skim milk in my coffee every time, and every time they make it with cream/full fat milk.

maxine s.

Yelp
This place is great! I had the apple and cheddar and a friend had the DC special with turkey, spinach et al...delish. The coffee is great, the prices are right on!

Kait N.

Yelp
I love walking into a place and immediately seeing there are "regulars" who the staff remember their orders, ask them about their families, etc! I think it says a lot that this place is so new and it's already that way. Great vibe, large space with plenty of room to spread out if you are working or meeting with others, and the staff is wonderful. Oh and the crepes are AMAZING!

Emily C.

Yelp
So nice to have a new spot to get good food and coffee in Glover Park! I got coffee and one of their sweet crepes -- both were great. Can't wait to come by and try some of the many crepes on the menu. Big plus that they have good wifi!
