Yelp
Not impressed. In fact, extremely disappointed at the caliber of this place as it took over my beloved neighborhood Starbucks while growing up.
1. Poor customer service - I ordered a cold brew and asked if I could get "some sweetener and a creamer" and the response was "you can if you ask for it." ..... OK. Then I asked what kinds of sweeteners and creamers they had because, you know, it's 2021 and the list of potential options can be long. Most coffee shops nowadays offer 2%, nonfat, soy, almond, oat, half and half, among other things. The staff looked at me like I was crazy and proceeded to mumble something confusing about "the options being right there" which I truly did not understand, but did not want to press further. I actually think the guy I spoke with is one of the store managers, which further disappointed me. How rude.
2. Bad coffee - in addition to my very disappointing experience ordering my drink, the coffee itself tasted terrible. Bland, not strong, no flavor - tastes like water almost. Once again, missing Starbucks :(
3. Bizarre aesthetic - truly an eye sore once you walk inside. The flashy designs on the wall and on the floor hurt my eyes, I don't think I would ever get myself to sit or work in here.
It is possible that the pastries and crepes are good, but I did not try them, and I do not intend to return to do so.
