Pointe-a-Pierre Wildfowl Trust

Loved visiting this place with my family. The satnav didn't take kindly to its location on the way initially. Due to it not being updated with the road layout. Once you arrive, you feel completely engrossed in nature as there are many birds wandering around freely. The tour was very interesting and informative, you're sure to learn something new. It will also have a very positive impact on you in regards to our role and responsibility in taking care of our surroundings. Helping nature to thrive, as this will also benefit our very own existence. I would definitely recommend as many people as possible visit the Wildfowl Trust. It's a very small fee, and it's a lovely day out for all ages.

A quiet nesting site for birds and waterfowl in Pointe-a-Pierre. Call for reservations to take the tour (twice daily), or to walk alpng the trail unguided. Many muscovy ducks and whistling ducks to see upon the path, there is a breeding site for ducks and our own scarlet ibis. . The lotus flower is prominent in the ponds , as is water hyacinths and papyrus. Picnic spots and benches are available for use too.

First time visiting and it was soooooo good! Our tour guide Wes was extremely knowledgeable. You need to go on this tour. Call to book an appointment as you can't just visit on a whim. The cost is TT$20 per adult. This is a conservation wetland, and they are doing their best to protect the various species that are native to our country and the migratory population that visit.

An impromptu rabbit out of the hat decision took us here. Amazing experience, quite a bit of wild life all around. A nice and tranquil site full of flora and fauna. Very suitable for family sunday strolls or even just when you need that alone time to reset from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is a very special local nature walk and visit. The guided tour lasts for 1hr and you are facilitated by a very funny, knowledgeable young guide who shared a great deal of information on local flora and fauna. It's really a beautiful place to visit with the family and an absolute must see for anyone looking for a simple, relaxing, private time with family.

Clean...scenic...and relaxing. Great experience. Friendly staff. You can have a guided tour or choose to walk around yourself. We did not take a guided tour so we were able to go off on the different trails for a little hike.

Affordable entrance fee, amazing spot for a photoshoot (at a cost). Lovely trails and spots to sit back, relax, and bond with nature,
