A rite of passage for Milwaukee eaters: grill-finished wings with a just-right burn, served in a classic 21-and-up corner tavern. Repeated Best of Milwaukee winner in Shepherd Express and long praised by Thrillist; the pub’s own site confirms hours and the wings-only focus.

Google
Our all-time favorite wings, not just in Milwaukee! We always make it a point to visit when we are in town. The fries & ranch are to die for. The fried cheese curds also always hit the spot. The jalapeño poppers are delicious and unique, and the corn fritters are also yummy! You really can’t go wrong here. They have a great selection on tap, and the mixed drinks have always been great too. Things to note: - Must be 21+ to enter, even just to eat food. They card everyone, young and old, at the door, so be ready to show ID! - Order at the bar, and then they will bring your food to the table - There is a 15% service charge added to every bill - No takeout allowed

Google
An absolutely incredible experience. Perhaps the best wings I’ve ever had. AND corn fritters! This southern man is smiling extra wide about that. Great service, great beer selection, full bar, plenty of TVs, neighborhood feel….what more can you ask of a proper sports bar? 120/5 stars

Google
Points East Pub Est. 1994 Layout/atmosphere *Multiple TVs; high tops; seven tables; order food at end of the bar Food/drink *Wings (sauced then deep fried) with blue cheese - solid *New Glarus Brewing Moon Man Pale Ale (bottle) - above average *Complementary water cooler

Google
The wings are great! No sauce needed. I hardly used any ranch or blue cheese. Good service.

Marcel Andre

Google
The service is always wonderful and the staff is always friendly, but the quality of the wings has plummeted. I miss the old days before the renovations when you would wait for 45-60 minutes and get the most delicious wings ever! Now, you get them in 10-15 minutes, the skin is like rubber and the flavor is lacking. I would surely wait for an hour if I could get wings like they used to be. I can't comment on any other food as I haven't tried anything else from the menu.

Google
Love this place, we gave been going here for YEARS. we always have great food, great service and tip very well. But now they are adding a 15% "service charge" to all transactions. This is outrageous, and it leaves me feeling icky not leaving the tip I normally do, because for wings and 3 seltzers you're gonna pay over $60. It's just too much.

The Borg Cooking Show

Google
Wings 9.5/10 Corn fritters 8.7/10 The comfortable old wood bar is outfitted with outlets to charge your devices while you catch the game on the three flat screens above the extensive liquor selection. The bartenders are always attentive and nice. The fish fry is no longer available as of this posting.

Google
Five stars for the wings alone. Best wings in Milwaukee in my opinion. Their dry rub is so good. The other food is mid, but usually good.

Yelp
Still one of the best wings in the city! They aren't small wings like some other spots and they are a standard 12 wings for 20$ after 15% added on tip. Order came out in 5 minutes and one of the best in the city!
google avatar

Yelp
Popped by after Storming the Bastille. Fun bar. Good vibe. Will be back for the wings!

Yelp
Not pictured but also eaten: cheese curds and a 18 count wing. David and I have lived in Milwaukee over 2 years and this was our first time trying Points East Pub. Dang, have we been missing out!!! Don't make the same mistake we did by waiting to try this place. We had a nice Sunday lunch at Points East since we were both craving wings. All of the staff were so nice, and the place had great vibes along with being well cleaned. The food came out super fast and pipping hot! Cheese curds were delicious (sad we forgot to take a picture). Fries were delicious. We were both glad we tried the Tex-Mex Corn Fritters, however probably would skip them next time. They are good, don't get me wrong, just not our favorite. Okay, now on to the star of the show. The WINGS!! Dang were they delicious. Perfectly charred, fantastic flavor, and a bit of heat that is cooled off with their ranch . Each wing had tons of meat and practically fell off the bone. There's a reason they are known for their wings!

Yelp
We've tried to get seating in the past and they are always so busy. We understand why, the wings are so good. We were able to have their wings several times during the pandemic as a to go order and have been craving their wings for a long time. Tonight was our night. Date night with my husband for the Bucks game. We had the wings and the garlic fries. We weren't a fan of the garlic sauce but the fries were delicious dipped in the ranch that came with the wings. We sat in the back area and enjoyed the quaint area. Our bartender was super helpful and friendly. You order at the bar and the food came quickly. Look forward to more wings in the future. They got the flavor perfect for our liking. Great job!!

Yelp
Food excellant, bartender was just the best, but the cook from the kitchen who delivered my food to me and a friend came up from behind me and gave me a shoulder block on my shoulder and dumped the food on the bar. Maybe teach him some manners to say excuse me without physically touching/pushing me aside to deliver our food. Not sure if i will ever return! He needs to be fired/let go b4 i return!!! Not a good business tactic when im assaulted in your place of establisment!

Yelp
Wings, wings, wings! This is the place for...you guessed it: wings! Arguably the best in Milwaukee. Now be warned: For those of you who like lots of flavor options and styles of wings (naked, breaded, dry rub) you will be disappointed. They only serve one kind, but the preparation and flavor is so good you'll be happy you didn't have other options. Deep-fried, dipped in their famous sauce and grilled to perfection. A nice medium heat with some smokiness with just the right amount of crispiness. They are incredible! Prices are reasonable too, we got a half order (12 wings) for $14.00. Add a side of fries, which are on point as well! Tons of great beer selections, and the prices are very reasonable. Most pints of really good craft beer are $4.75. Order at the bars, there are no waiters. They will bring you your food and drink. It's a decent sized pub, with a second bar and additional seating in the back. Unpretentious, simple place and it attracts a very diverse crowd. Just a great neighborhood bar with superb wings. Go now!
google avatar

Deanna B.

Yelp
I love wings so my friend decided to take me here. A simple menu, with a simple wing. No extra flavors, no extra seasonings-- you get the OG of wings and it's done perfectly! There is a ton of seating, TVs to watch whatever sport you're into and a nice bar in the back with all sorts of beverages for you to choose from. The drinks are affordable and strong, and the wings were cooked to perfection. This spot was delicious. I've been thinking about the wings ever since I had it. The staff was super friendly and this is a must stop for me whenever I'm in Cream City!

Yelp
Wings were great. Whole restaurant is whacked with no service. Guy slammed our food down. Wouldn't speak to us. Ended up not getting the right sandwich because the server wouldn't even tell us what he was delivering. Stupid..
google avatar

Joshua K.

Yelp
WINGS! There's not much more to say. Yes the fries and onion bits are tasty but make sure you get the wings. It's a quick and easy time to order and grab a seat. The volume is an appropriate level for a sports bar. Oh and one last thing.... Did I mention the wings?!
google avatar

Yelp
I came here with a friend for a quick bite after a long drive from Chicago. My friend has been raving about their wings, so I had to try. Dare I say that these are the best wings I've had in Milwaukee!!! Their wings are grilled and flavorful with a slight kick of pepper. We really didn't need the blue cheese or ranch sauces to add to the flavor. The ambiance was cool. Drinks were pretty good. Service was good. I definitely recommend you try their wings. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
On June 26, 2025 the following happened: Food excellant, bartender was just the best, but the cook from the kitchen who delivered my food to me and a friend came up from behind me and gave me a shoulder block and dumped the food on the bar. Maybe teach him some manners to say excuse me without physically touching/pushing me aside to deliver our food. Not sure if i will ever return! He needs to be fired/let go b4 i return!!! Not a good business tactic when im assaulted in your place of establisment! I did report to the bartender and he said he would report it to the owner, but heard nothing back! I will give them 1 of 5 star rating since the Bartender was very nice!

Yelp
Stopped in on a weeknight. It was busy but not too bad, waited at the bar for about 5 min while they were clearing a table. In the meantime we were able to get drinks and then sit down. The wings are nice sized here not like the scrawny wings from BW3's. Got a few sides to accompany the wings as well. One of the better spots for wings around town.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
This place is known for their wings, but I don't really consider them anything special, just average. Always fresh though, and locals seem to love it. When you go in, you're going to see a fairly classic Wisconsin corner bar, but larger. It's always packed on game days. Of the three times I've gone, I've seen disruptive guests get tossed twice and make a huge scene, including one occasion where service to the entire bar was cut off temporarily. This spot attracts a "high energy" crowd! The service was good each time I've been, but again, the food is not a standout for me. If you like TomKen's, you'll probably love this place!

Eduardo Emilio F.

Yelp
Best wings in Milwaukee. Mythic as to why no takeout or delivery. Good ambiance. Good beer. All around big ups. Wings wings wings.
google avatar

Kelly Z.

Yelp
The wings are phenomenal they are cooked on the grill and sauced. I wouldn't waste any time eating wings anywhere else! Because, there is no doubt that points east has the best!
google avatar

Jim S.

Yelp
My yearly post . Great burger and wings . Just so disappointed that they think there shit don't stink and don't need to cater to customers. Along with no Carry Outs or To Go's they don't even have WiFi in 2024 for there customers to use .
google avatar

Darnell T.

Yelp
Excellent wings and beer variety. Just wish they had other flavors, but I can deal with the ones they have

Yelp
We've been going to Points East Pub for years and I just realized I have never posted a review. We enjoy everything about Points East. Great food (of course you need to start with the wings that have been voted best in Milwaukee several years in a row) Service is great. Stop in and say 'hi' to Heather. She's the best.
google avatar

Yelp
We came to try this place because my husband's coworker raved about the wings at this place and it lived up to the hype. The smokey flavor wings were a hit on our list and we would definitely come back just for them. It took about 30mins for our food to come out on a Wednesday at 7pm. Wings is mild on spice and fries were crispy. Chicken quesadillas was plain and generic. I wouldn't order it again. Nice little pub to grab drinks, eat and chat with friends. Don't forget your ID. They ID everyone as soon as you enter.

Yelp
Best Wings in MKE hands down! Easy pub to grab some wings and drinks. Love the onion stacks! A staple in the area and a go-to place at least once a month. Will be back for more!

Yelp
Recently learn if this place Because a dear friend invited many of us. I gave it a try and from the moment I was trying to make up my mind as to what to order, the bartender lady was so in a rush and so pushy I was almost about to leave but I went ahead and got a few wings. when my wings arrived to the table the young white guy threw them on the table, said nothing, turned around and kept walking. After about 15 minutes 8 more of the guest had arrived and they ordered wings, the same white young guy came and threw the wings on the table. said nothing, did not even know who the wings were for, he just throw them on the other end of the table, turned around, said nothing, and walked away as he gave the wrong person the wings. He needs to be FIRED because he did it a 3rd time and nearly got his AZZ whipped. We left and will NEVER COME again and give you our hard working money. The party I was with contained BLACKS......AFRICAN AMERICANS....3 law enforcement Officers, 2 Fire Fighters, a retired Judge, a Paramedic, 1 Nurse, a Human service worker, 1 Obgyn Doctor, a Professional Arts designer, 1 ER Doctor, and 1 Legal Secretary and a few more others. Your wings were good but not good enough for us to be treated the way you/your staff handled us at Point East Pub in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Retrain your staff on how to treat people equally.....we are DECENT BLACKS/AFRICAN AMERICANS

Yelp
Some people I met at Summerfest recommended this place claiming it's one of the best sports bars in Milwaukee. That's a bold exclamation but Milwaukians are known to tell the truth so I trusted them. And it was rewarded! They claimed the wings is among the best you'll ever have and they aren't wrong. The wings are some of the best I've EVER had with the right amount of smokiness and texture; dipped in that homemade bleu cheese, you couldn't ask for a better bar eats. I played it safe (and cheap) by pairing the wings with bottles of Miller. They do have plenty of bourbon and whisky selections along with beer. Seeing those helped allowed me to connect with a few visitors from Chicago who were also here. We bonded over beers and shots while watching NFL week 1. Speaking of which, there's plenty of TVs showing all the games. The bartender was kind enough to put the colts game on where I sat despite the game being on a different tv. Sadly the colts played terrible and lost so in a random act of kindness, the bartender immediately had another beer open for me although I wasn't finished with mine. Much appreciated. This spot is one of my highlights of the trip. Great food, great people, great bartenders, just a great bar. No doubt this is on my rotation when I visit MKE again!

B S.

Yelp
The wings are world class. Prepped on a flat top grill, fried no breading, sauced, and finished on the grill. A perfect crisp, amazing flavor...always a winner. The staff is cool, best experience is sitting at the bar, you get the personal touch. Overall...if I don't make my own wings...this is where I go for them in Mke. The vibe is neighborhood bar meets small sports bar/pub.

Yelp
....Heather is the most awesome bartender ever!! Other bartenders are great and the drinks are strong! Excellent vibe, exceptional food - the best wings I've ever had in my entire life. I'm a huge chicken wing connoisseur and have been for years. We live about an hour away from this pub but definitely return in hopes of seeing Heather and the amazing food. Get there early before the crowd arrives. Place fills up fairly quick on weekends. Vibe is super cool and laid back.

June M.

Yelp
best wings!!! Garlic fries, burgers, and beer selection is decent. No one under 21 allowed, no exception.

Yelp
Was recommended this place for their wings, so that is what we came here for! Came on a Thursday night and ordered the smallest size of their "famous wings" and texmex corn fritters - YUM. The vibes just seem like your local joint where you would grab a beer, some snacking foods, and watch your favorite team on their many TV screens. Their wings have a dry rub seasoning that was seasoned very well. Wings are a bit on the smaller end, but were so juicy! I don't expect this with 1) small wings and 2) dry rub wings, so this was great to eat! The texmex corn fritters are so delicious. They do have a bit of a kick, so if you are sensitive to spice, I would take serious precautions. I have been eating cheese curds all day (can you tell i'm not from here? haha) so I wanted to try something ~different~. I am SO glad I did. I am a big fan of corn fritters in general and ALWAYS get it at my local state fair, so seeing this on a menu... you already know I HAD to try. Their corn fritters were different than what I am used to. It was cheesy, corny, and spicy.

Yelp
Food is usually on point !! But the costumer service is another thing don't get me wrong there is some with great service for example the bartender with the blue hair is great always a good time I have been coming for years but the blonde haired bartender was so rude to the point I wanted to cancel my order and then was told I can't so I had to pay $50 for a 24 piece of wings and a fry after she was rude i will not be coming back for some time!! why pay your money to get treated like I'm not a paying customer I usually tip but I didn't today! I will be telling my friend group & timeline because who wants to pay for an unpleasant experience???

Steven L.

Yelp
Good wings Order at bar Auto 15% service charge and they ask for tip when you check out. don't feel pressured to tip on top of a service charge. Kind of a bullshit way to run a business

Tim M.

Yelp
Food was great, counter service was not so hot- one of two bartenders had to continually step outside to card/assign tables to new patrons. There was a prominent sign saying 15% service charge was added to all orders, yet the hand held device still asked for tip, For counter service 15% is more than adequate. Not sure if I shafted the staff. Some of these quirks may be related to the proximity to MSOE. They sure took away from the dining experience.

Tileisa H.

Yelp
This place probably has some of the best wings in Milwaukee!! Great atmosphere and great drinks
google avatar

Alyssa F.

Yelp
Stick with the Wings. Milwaukeeans rave about the chicken wings at this pub and rightfully so! But, the impossible burger not so much. As a vegetarian it was so nice to have an option other than cheese curds or a basket of fries to order and the hearty veggie topping options were appreciated. However, the bun was chewy and over steamed. The patty was closer to a veggie burger than an impossible patty. We also ordered a full order of garlic fries. The full order was enough for one person; so, the portion was much smaller than we anticipated. The garlic and butter sauce weren't worth it. Next time, we will just stick to a healthy side of mayonnaise or ketchup to dunk the fries in.
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
Best wings in Milwaukee hands down! Fries are crispy and wings are cooked perfect each time. Flavorful but not saucy wings. No take out, need to be 21 to enter the bar. Order at the bar. Can get busy around popular games. Ranch is 10/10.
google avatar

Viv P.

Yelp
We got to take advantage of the stay at home order and get to-go wings from points east! This place has awesome reviews and the some wing pride and are usually pretty strict with how their wings are done, no kids, no take out. Even now, you have to call them for curbside pickup and speak with them personally. No delivery, and no leaving messages, no ordering ahead for a certain time, and no internet orders. That said, ordering was super easy - call, order, and drive. Wings were ready in 15 minutes, and a friendly server brought it out curbside and took our payment. Oh, and they also charged an extra $4 for the order. I wish they hadn't. I would have tipped them better. I don't know - I've never been a fan of this 'added gratuity'. It makes me feel like they're telling me how much their service is worth, rather than me deciding how good the service was. There's also a 36 wing limit per takeout. So that's what we ordered. It comes with about 4 sticks of celery per 18 wings and a side of ranch of blue cheese. The wings are fried, sauced, then grilled. It feels like a dry rub because it's been grilled after it's sauced, but the sauce felt to me more like a liquid hot sauce, that is dried up because of the grill. It's actually really good, with kicking flavors. I like that the wings are on the smaller side (though hubby likes them bigger). I must say, the wings are good. It's probably one of the best we've had in the greater Milwaukee area. The only better grilled wings we've had is from Buckets Pub down in Racine. But I'm sure it's a matter of personal taste - I just like the Buckets' dry rub better than Points' hot sauce rub taste better.

Yelp
Rightfully popular for their wings! You typically have to order at the bar. They have great bartenders and convenient location.

Nick D.

Yelp
Best wings in Milwaukee. Only has one flavor but does not need to have more than one. Amazing grilled wings with the perfect amount of spice. Great place to drink, eat wings, and watch sports
google avatar

Gilbert T.

Yelp
Another great pub in Milwaukee, great beers and great space to just vibe out on a date if you like. I had something small because I was there to drink but the little bit I had was really good.

Ro W.

Yelp
The chicken is the best the one style of wings is better than bw3's hands down!! Worth every penny!!

Leslie S.

Yelp
Best wings I've ever had! And amazing BLT and burger! Really high quality, fresh ingredients! Great, friendly service, too!
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
True Score: 4.25 Stars Delicious Wings, best in Milwaukee This little place is your very basic corner pub that makes you feel like you've been here before even if you haven't. We came for the wings, but someday hope to shake it up and try something different-just not this time. I tell you the wings are served HOT from the grill and have great spicy flavor along with the crispiness you expect-no flabby chicken skin here! An order of 12 wings and fries (which are also served HOT) is enough for two. We did try the garlic fries for the first time...beware--they ain't messing around with the garlic--but good stuff! It gets busy with the after work crowd and take-out orders are popular as well. Reasonably priced too. BTW, wings start flying at 4pm. Thanks
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick drink and some of their "famous" wings. Bartender was super friendly and the food came out super fast. The wings tasted very good. The only thing holding this back from 5 stars were that some of the wings weren't crispy while some were- next time I'll order extra crispy on the wings and see if that makes a difference. Still, I would definitely recommend stopping by if wings & beer are your thing!
google avatar

Thuy Dan T.

Yelp
If you're a fan of dry rub wings, I would say give these a shot, but I'm a sauce girl to I was dousing my wings in the ranch and blue cheese. Awesome price for a 6 wings which I can definitely see the popularity. The wings are deep-fried, dipped in our famous sauce, and grilled so a lot of TLC goes into them. Again, my preference, I need another coating of that sauce and I think the wing size doesn't deliver enough skin (my favorite part). The wings had some classic buffalo taste to them and were on the smaller side, but again price was super reasonable. Although the outside was dry, the inside was still pretty juicy.
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
The wings are every bit as good as their reputation precedes them. Be sure to get there early I recall the kitchen closed too early for a bar serving wings but oh well we made it there just in time say 10pm Solid beer selection too

Charm S.

Yelp
Food was delicious! They have to work on getting the service together. My food came out so late , because they forgot about our table. We were there two hours with no food. I had to go to the bar and ask where is my food. After that it sure came out fresh! Anyway the bar is a good hang out spot.

Kayla S.

Yelp
The wings are phenomenal! Highly recommend. I'm picky about wings, but the flavor was like none other. I will definitely be going back often!
google avatar

Ryan A.

Yelp
Came here from Chicago based on a recommendation from a friend claiming this place has the best wings. He was not wrong. They are THE best wings I've had. Cooked perfectly with an absolute addicting dry spice rub. I'm not a fan of saucy wings and these were juicy and amazing. They also have an impressive beer selection. Will be back for sure.
google avatar

Meghna S P.

Yelp
If you love wings, this is the place to be! I absolutely love their own rub and goes really well with old school ranch! I love how the flavor is mildly smoky and yet it's very prominent. They have a decent seating area up front with fast service from the bar and then they have a back area seating too which is great because you can accommodate so much more! One of the things to be aware of is if you come here for wings primarily, expect a wait time of about an hour or hour and half! Yes I am not joking .. just for wings :) It's totally worth the wait.. catch up with your friends in the meantime :) Located in downtown/east side of Milwaukee they are easy to get to and is very close to pick and save. Usually parking is easy to find as there is ample amount of street parking.

mohaimen a.

Yelp
Terrible customer service experience. I was getting attitude for absolutely no reason.

Yelp
Having lived in Milwaukee for nearly 4 years now, there are a lot of places that get super hyped up that actually fall way short of expectations. When I heard people claim that Points East has the best wings - I was skeptical. However; these wings are fantastic. Whatever they're marinating and dry rubbing on these wings is absolutely perfect. Wings arrive hot, meaty, not gristly or skimpy. Nice sized wings with tender, flavorful, juicy meat. I'm a big sauce person, and these dry rubs stand alone without needed to be doused in sauce. These are very possibly the best wings I've ever had - and I am a wing fan. It's my go to bar order. If you're in Milwaukee and you want wings, this is the spot. Have also tried TomKen's - cool sauce choices, weird chicken (lots of little hairs/feathers noticed on nearly all wings). Get your wing fix here. For sides, I've tried the garlic fries (good, but a little too oily for me but excellent super garlicky flavor), fried pickles (surprise winner for me - thin, nicely battered) and the onion petals (skip these - very meh).

Yelp
Hands down best wings in Milwaukee I have never had anything on the menu besides the wings and fries. When my friends come to visit I always take them! They charge 18% already with the bill but I always tip a little more.
