I dont know why this place isn’t packed! I came and got the Small with 2 protein. Double Shrimp brown rice and spring mix cucumber pineapple kale edamame and cilantro spicy mayo and sweet chilli sauce and it’s straight perfection! I added avocado and all the nuts toppings and its super refreshing crisp and fresh! Best part is you feel good after eating this amazing food! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Absolutely delicious!! Bowls are completely customizable to your taste and the service is amazing! Such a good price for this amazing meal.

I was very disappointed. I was hoping it was gonna be amazing, but it was just OK. Most of the food looked like it had been out for too long and I almost didn’t get anything. But if I’m being honest, it was just OK

This place used to be good, but lately it seems as though new ownership is very tight with their servings. And you have to beg for extra toppings. Contemplating on not spending my money here again, and I'm alerting neighbors around me.

I never have to wait for service. They offer half off prices for pre-prepared sushi trays in their refrigerated section.

Fresh selection of fish and great service! Love the kale noodles and surprisingly their almond milk tea (just as good as half and half)! Will be coming back more often

Bowl has S M L i think for 2 3 4 scoops of fish/protein, portion is big. I should have gotten the S bowl instead. They are generous about rice, so you can ask server go easy on your bowl. But i pretty much spent my lunch money on both my lunch and dinner

Wonderful Huge bowls Clean Fresh food Great value Delicious Henry the Owner is very friendly. Everyone that eats here is always smiling. My kid is picky but alwayd eats their full.meal when they eat here. I drive all the way from Anaheim to get this. Best Poke in Southern California.

In the monrovia area, I think this might be one of the best poke spots. The fish is fresh and their sauces are very delicious as well. When ordering online they have 2 options for spicy tuna (the og or none og) if you are looking for the scoop of spicy tuna get the OG if you want tuna pieces with spicy sauce get the regular non og spicy tuna option! I was confused at first so I thought i should share. Overall this poke place has a variety of toppings sauces and fish and this will be my new poke spot in Monrovia!

I've been here years ago and finally made my way back here. Staff was friendly and took the time to prepare our bowls the way we wanted. We ended up getting one medium bowl (3 scoops) and one small bowl (2 scoops). Prices were pretty good for what it was and overall I enjoyed my meal. The fish was pretty fresh. I tried out the spicy tuna, salmon, and scallop which were all fire. Also added on kale noodles for $1 which IMO it lacked flavor, I would just stick to the rice. I went with the recommended sauces in the list of 10 combos that they advertised and they were pretty good. Overall I enjoyed the food, it hit the spot for what it was. Friendly staff, solid prices and pretty fresh poke. Note - Seemed like they had 50% off rolls when you buy a bowl.

I always receive generous portions, fresh fish, and good service. Would definitely recommend this place.

This poke bar had so many options to choose from. I loved the variety of different fishes with marinades. The employees were the nicest that I've ever encountered. They assisted us every step of the way as it was our first time. they even made suggestions, which I really liked. There was so many toppings to choose from sauces and seasonings. This bowl was by far one of the best poke bowls ever had and decently priced as well. I'm definitely coming back and becoming a regular.

Decent poke place in Monrovia.. it's located near the Sprouts. I like being able to get a custom poke bowl and all the different options they offer. The employees are usually nice and it's more like a quick grab n go option. I also like that they carry sparkling water options. It's a great lunch spot for me when I am trying to eat healthy for the week.

I was so hungry and this poke bowl place save my life!!! The restaurant was clean and the Poke bar look very fresh. I got 3 scoops half and half brown rice and mix green, OG spicy tuna, soy salmon, and albacore. The service was friendly. Taste very good and definitely recommend!

This is my third time coming in and every time I come in it's a pretty good experience, it's nice, quiet and they're quick. I usually get the medium bowl with my 3 proteins and it fills me up perfectly. The guy who makes the bowls as well was very sweet and helpful and gave us his recommendation and his favorite sauces to mix. The food is always pretty good and the jasmine green tea was amazing as are all the others. Can't wait to come back again soon.

What a sad bust, I was craving for poke but sadly this did not satisfied my craving at all. By the time we arrived around 7:30pm there were minimal poke left. I was honestly very skeptical about ordering because they didn't have enough fish. The portion size is small compared to other poke restaurants. Overall, the fish itself was not fresh at all. I had to add extra ponzu sauce to mask the fishiness.

One of my favorite poke spots! The portions are good and I like that they don't overdo the rice. Fish is fresh, and I like the sauces as well. My favorite part is that for the crabmeat side, they don't put mayo; other places do and sometimes it's way too much mayo. Delicious!

TL;DR: good portions, good topping options, great taste. I've been coming to poke bar for a while since it's close by and local to me. It's consistently good, it never smells when I go inside unlike some other poke places I've tried. Service is always friendly, and generally I never have to wait long to be helped. They have kale noodles as well which is different. Miso soup is offered along plenty of sushi deals (Sundays). Great for a quick bite you can eat there or take it to go. Great for quick casual lunch.

Excellent customer service and it wasn't that busy when I came by. They were generous with their scoops and were skimping out like most places. I got the medium poke bowl and the chef special #2. The poke bowl hit the spot and affordable as well.

Casual, bright atmosphere with friendly staff. Win handled both my mom and my poke bowls and did a fantastic job. He was kind and patient. She also asked for a jasmine green tea boba, which he made well for her. She wanted it to be sweetened more, and he didn't mind making the adjustment for her. No attitude or a sense of annoyance that we sometimes get from other employees elsewhere. So this was much appreciated. The proteins and ingredients were all fresh, and there is a variety of toppings and sauces. We both had the 2 protein bowls for $12.45 each, which we thought was more than sufficient. Also, if you order a bowl, you get 50% discount on the sushi. Great deal! I had the tuna and salmon nigiri sushi, and it was pretty good. Fish tasted fresh. My only gripe is the rice was a tad hard. But not too bad!

We order from here often! We usually get it delivered by door dash or another service. Tonight I went in to pick up a bowl for my son and the store was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Everything looked fresh and appetizing! My son ordered the large bowl with rice, octopus, spicy tuna, salmon, jalapeño, ponzu sauce, seaweed and spicy mayo. As always delicious and well prepared!! It's awesome to have such a delicious place near home where the food is always good and healthy! Plenty of parking and great location!

Pretty solid spot for poke bowls in the Monrovia area. Their ahi and shrimp are always fresh, base and toppings are generous, and the staff are always very happy and helpful. We always go for their medium bowl which gives you a choice of 3 proteins. I get ahi, shrimp, and albacore. My hubby likes to get ahi, albacore, and salmon. The ahi and shrimp are always fresh and delicious. The albacore and salmon can be hit or miss. The base options are white rice, brown rice, kale noodles, or salad. They used to have a tortilla chip option but removed it a while back. Their white rice is our go to. I've tried a couple of their boba milk teas - taro and Thai tea - good flavors and nice boba. They now offer some sushi but I haven't tried it yet. They have some dessert options too. We had been coming here frequently (even weekly) for a while but stopped bc the quality of their fish was declining. It's my understanding that they're under new management so we gave them another try and the quality definitely improved! The restaurant is always clean - order at the counter subway style - walk down the line and tell them your bowl choices if you're building your own. They're located in a large, busy shopping center with plenty of parking.

Really awesome service, the guy who made my bowl was super friendly and helpful. The options are fresh and they have great sauces. In my opinion this is the best poke place in Monrovia by far!

I hate giving places low ratings but unfortunately I was pretty let down by this poke spot. The portion sizes were pretty small compared to other poke spots around the area (Poke Bar Arcadia, Bay Poke). My fiancé and I ordered the salmon and it definitely did not taste fresh. The fish was super duper fishy and even with the sauce it wasn't enough to drown out the fishy flavor. I had to add some more ponzu sauce when I got home in order to finish the rest of the meal.

Poke is fine. Portion is way way too small compared to other place I have been to. And I have been to A LOT OF poke places in LA. So I won't be returning

Clean, affordable, and friendly service. I would definitely come here again. They had many toppings, sauces to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised the drinks were good as well and not overly sweet (I usually ask for 50% sweetness in boba shops). We got a passion fruit tea and Thai tea.

I always go for their $5 sushi rolls on Sunday. It's so good for being discounted. Such a great deal. The service I had today was top notch. The server helping me had such a great attitude, his positive energy was contagious. He also went above and beyond. They were making the rolls fresh and he offered me those rather than the ones in the case. He asked if I wanted extra onions on my crunchy roll. Overall amazing service and an amazing deal. $15 for 3 rolls. Can't beat that.

They charge extra for sides! This the only location that doesn't let you add extra stuff without the price changing. WHEN DID THEY DO THIS?! Sad boi hours fr.

I realllllly wanted to like this place so I would have a new poke chain to use closer to home instead of driving to Glendora or West Covina for Ahi Poke or Poke Wings and Co ... unfortunately, this place missed the mark. The biggest reason for the 3/5 stars is the price vs. portion. Two medium bowls cost $35 after tax for a portion that was about 1/3 of the competitors' portions at the same price point. When I walk out with my bowls from the 2 aforementioned places, they're heavy. The takeout container and bowls the other places use were also at least twice as deep. I took an angled pic of the container from here. As you can see, it's maybe 1/2" deep. Not only were the protein scoops very small, but they totally skimp on the cheapest ingredients - the rice and lettuce. At least try to trick people into thinking they're getting more by loading up their bowls with the cheap stuff! When you ask for a mixed bowl here (which is supposed to be "1.5 servings of the base," all you get is a handful of lettuce and one perfectly portioned scoop of rice that can't be more than 1/4-1/2 cup. The topping choices are lacking here compared to other poke places, as are the fish choices. We chose the house spicy sauce and it had no real flavor. Neither did the fish. For the price of poke these days, it'll definitely be worth it to me to drive to the other places in the future. We won't be back here.

One of the best poke spots, and happy to have them nearby. I will start by saying I always order poke bar delivery through one of the delivery apps (Uber, Postmates, DoorDash etc), so I've actually never been inside but I felt compelled to write a review since I've had poke bar over 20 times now. The fish quality is excellent. I normally get the large which comes with 4 proteins. I appreciate the great selection and typically get the ahi tuna, spicy tuna, salmon and scallops. All four proteins are 5/5 and are delicious with good serving sizes. I also appreciate the variety of toppings including crab meat, seaweed salad, and plethora of sides. I always get the house dressing in either regular or spicy, depending on how I'm feeling. Serving sizes are pretty big, as at other poke places I tend to feel hungry still after finishing my meal, but the large does a great job of filling me up. The large also comes with a little more of rice and salad as the to go box is bigger. Definitely recommend as one of the best poke places in the 626!

clean. good service. love the topping, sauce, and protein options. yum kale noodles. got a small and it was enough...for me. but i wasn't starving. if so, i'd order a larger size.

Poke bowl itself was fine, but not the best. Salmon/Tuna roll was way too much rice for the small amount of fish (also the rice was kind of gummy and not very good.) Overall it's OKAY, but I probably won't eat here again. I would recommend you to go to Grindz up the street instead - they're cheaper with larger portions and tastes better.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if there were half points but in the end my bowl was closer to a 3 than a 4. The fish is fresh and tasty but the rest of the bowl was very bland. I ordered a brown rice bowl, with onions, pineapples, cucumber, sesame seeds and furikake along with their spicy garlic sauce and once it got delivered I had to add soy sauce at home. I also felt like the portions are smaller than expected. I ordered the 5 scoops and got 4 salmon and 1 spicy tuna. The scoops must have been tiny because I have gotten way bigger bowls for the same price at other places. I really wanted to like it but it was lacking in taste.

The store is located inside a plaza so there is a parking lot. Very easy to find parking. I ordered a small and chose salmon and spicy tuna for my protein. For the base they allow half/half so I did mix greens and brown rice. There are plenty of toppings to choose from. It was a beautiful bowl and tasty. Staff was also so nice. And if you check in on yelp you get free miso soup.

Just got 3 bowls between my friend and I, the service was friendly but the quality of the fish tasted spoiled and rancid so we ended up throwing it away. I tried calling to let them know they should throw it out and not serve to other customers but they didn't even bother picking up.

I am sad that I have to update my review within 1 month. I came in for poke bowl again. Ordered my usual small bowl with vegetable base. Sadly, my bowl was only half filled as seen in the picture. Comparing to my small bowl a month ago, the bowl I ordered today is obviously smaller. I understand inflation is bad, but I actually had to get more food else where because I was not full after I ate my poke bowl. I saw another staff preparing another customer a small bowl, and that customer's bowl has more food than mine. I hope that the potion can be more consistent.

I really love this place, but I have to say that after an order of more than $100 and with rewards available, the manager didn't give me the reward unless I buy something else from the refrigerator...before, it was never an issue, I always get the rewards seem cheap to me.

I am sure the owner is different than a few years ago because the portion they give now is so little for the price paid. $16 after tax for a meidum size bowl of poke. But the box is only half filled. If to use such box as a meidum size, I expect it could be filled. I mean at least to fill more salad underneath?? The taste good but just very disappointed with the portion. I understand there's an inflation but this is way too expensive for a poke bowl. I hope they will make changes.

My usual poke spot closed down & had to find another, so I decided to give Poke Bar a try... It's even better than my old spot! Fish is fresh, sauces are good & customer service is great. The kale noodles with the spicy miso broth is the perfect palette cleanser after eating the poke bowl. They also have packaged sushi for sale on the side that I am always a sucker for. Definitely recommend!

As of 8/9 they're really stingy with their portions and their prices went up! Their Poke Bowl is decent in terms of freshness and taste. They had good selections in terms of sauces. $14 and you get really little amount of protein and rice. See picture below, before with a medium bowl it would fill the top of the bowl but now you can see the bottom of the bowl. The Manager tried to blame it on me saying I never got any sides, or toppings or fixings, As you can see, I got avocado, i got sides. but I ALWAYS get the same bowl and its ALWAYS filled to the top. In the End the the manager said that they're not making any money quit playing games "F**k you F**k off". This is how they treat their customers, look at the other recent 1 star reviews and how they responded back. If you support this business you're supporting owners who could care less about their customers. I would highly recommend going to a different Poke Bar if that's how they treat their customers who bring up concerns.

Service is always great here. It's what keeps me coming even though there are better poke around. The poke here is not bad. I think what puts me off is the rice they use doesn't seem like Japanese rice, which is what is really needed for poke imo. I guess it's just preference. Also, I prefer my poke already marinated since that how the flavor really sticks to the fish, however, I do like that you can customize it, so it makes up for that. The sauce options are great. I prefer the house sauce. The fish here is pretty good. It's not the highest quality, but fresh enough for the price point. Speaking of price, it's standard. I think it's a little high for the quality, but I work close and want to support local and you should too!

Honestly, the food is pretty mid. I don't understand the reviews saying that the portions are great, because I'm shocked a poke restaurant would be so stingy with rice and spring mix. A half/half rice/salad order gets you a whopping 1/3 cup of cooked rice and a sprinkle of leaves on the bottom of their very shallow bowls. For 16+ dollars on a medium bowl could you not be so stingy with one of the cheapest ingredients? Their website says the fish is delivered daily, but it doesn't taste all that fresh. I wasn't a huge fan of the dry shredded imitation crab either. There's better options in the area.

They never fail to disappoint and I absolutely love coming here when I'm feeling something fresh and light. It's always a burst of flavor and the workers are super nice :)!

Great place. The fish was fresh and everything tasted good. I also like how they put the scoops of rice separate from the fish as they do in Hawaii- definitely reminded me of the poké I had in O'ahu. Overall 5 stars. The staff was very friendly as well

I have been craving some poke and was looking for a good poke spot. I saw that this place had online ordering and decided to give it a try. I had arranged for pickup at 12:30pm. I got there a little early and I noticed that they didn't even started on my order yet. There were 2 people on staff and they were helping out all of the customers that were walking in. There was some customers that came in after me and they got their food before me because they waited in line and was helped out. I understand that you need to help out the customers but I did place an online order and had to wait longer. One of the staff told me it was going to be 5-10 minutes. I did not get my food until 12:50pm. I do not like to leave negative reviews but I felt that was unacceptable. Lucky that I did not have to rush back to work but I just imagine the people who have 30 mins or an hour lunch and have to wait as long as I did that placed an online order. I will say the food is good but I will just walk in and order my food next time instead of placing an online order.

Prices went up and portions are still the same. They used to be good with being generous but when a restaurant starts becoming stingy, trouble's a brewing. Hint: stick with the small--look at the posted pic.

AVOID!!!!! I don't even know why this place has 4 stars, like it doesn't make sense. I ordered a small bowl with 2 proteins , before tax and delivery fee it's 13.50 something I think. And this is what I get. Warmed, dated salmon and tuna. I couldn't even tell the difference between salmon and tuna at first because they are both so dated that the colors of the fish both turned very pink and cooked. The most disgusting poke I've ever had.

This poke place is a hole in the wall. Very small, but pretty good. You can build your own poke bowl, with their help. Nice workers.

My best friend brought me here on the way to the APU campus and it's so amazing! This location is better than the one I went to near Eagle Rock before. The steps are basic: 1. Size Small $9.50, M $11.50, Large $13.50 2. Protein- they have plain and marinated fish 3. Sauces 4. Mix-In toppings and dry toppings They give a generous amount of fish! I ordered the medium with brown rice, salmon, and OG Tuna. I don't like tuna, but this OG Tuna is so good- it's marinated in different sauces including sesame oil and their house sauce. Although the menu is a bit messy and hard to read, the overall bowl is so perfect and the flavors aren't overwhelming. I would love to return to this location again!

Horrible service. Ordered thru doordash and they couldnt acomodate me with extra masago when its barely even a option for the bowls i will never order here again
