My favorite place for a poke bowl. We've been here at least 15 times and everything is ALWAYS fresh and delicious and service is top-notch. We drive an hour one way to get food here because it's the best. My husband and I love sushi rolls, but it's too expensive and he never feels full afterwards. Poke bowls are way to get the best of everything. And Poke Bay is the best place we've ever been for poke bowls. Just as good as Poke Bros., but so much more reasonably priced.

Tried this poke place for the first time and it was really good, fresh, flavorful, and well made. Service was fast too! The only downside was that I wish the protein portion was a bit bigger. If that were improved, it would be perfect.

My new favorite poke spot! I love and appreciate that you can choose up to 6 toppings, which is such a great deal compared to other places that only let you pick 3 or 4. The staff was super friendly too!

So thankful to have a good poke place closer to home! The staff is very kind & gives great suggestions if its your first time getting poke. Fresh, high quality ingredients. One of our favorite quick dinner/lunch spots.

The poke bowls are delicious, always made with fresh ingredients. The guy who works there is very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Prices are quite reasonable, and the service is fast and welcoming. I could eat there every day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered online and service was quick. $18 including tax. I think I had more onions and jalapenos than anything else. The protein was just three tiny portions. I could understand this cost for a sit down place, but not worth take out. For $18, I can get a nice sushi lunch combo.

Delicious, but I can’t get over the portions/price. I’m so torn on how to review this place because the food is good and the service is kind, but between the high cost for only 3 scoops, the scoop itself being tiny, and the server making zero effort to fill the protein scoop I felt the need to leave a review. For the price they charge for a large, at other poke places I’ve been to, you get a bit more base, the protein scoop is larger, and the servers stuff the protein scoop. My review would be 3 star if there was an effort to maximize each protein scoop, 4 star if there was a bit more base/rice to a large, and 5 star if the scoop was a bit larger and closer to the size I’m used to. Also if there was a 5 scoop option (for say, $20 based on what other places offer) and a slightly larger bowl with more rice as an option, that’d be above and beyond (6 stars if I could)

They say you should never grocery shop on an empty stomach so I stopped in to have lunch. So glad I did. The friendliest and freshest food around. For around $16 including tip, I had a delicious bowl with high quality and healthy ingredients. I went “wild” with spicy tuna and sweet octopus for my protein, sea food salad, and fresh veggies. Great find!

I've been here a couple of times but forgot how great it is to eat here! The food is great and the value feels top notch compared to other poke places in Madison that are far more expensive. The vibe inside is clean, open concept, does not feel cramped. I always get a blend of tuna and salmon and do the custom bowl option and I've never been disappointed.

Great ratio of toppings! This was probably my first time ever wanting more rice.... crazy. I've never seen a spicy crab at poke spots but that was a nice flavorful addition. Service is quick and nice space to sit in and eat or take out from. Will definitely begin to frequent for poke!

Friendly service. Lots of options for add ons. Sushi always fresh. Good choices of different rice and salad. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for some lunch today while running some errands. Really nice spot near Pick N Save. Very clean location and the staff is very friendly. They offer soft drinks and bottled water. In the area where you can get napkins and plastic utensils there is free, ice and water. As well as, different additional sauces, such as the spicy mayo and eel sauce. The poke was delicious. Loved the topping selections such as fried onions. Very cool spot.

This picture doesn't do the bowl justice. My bowl had salmon, spicy tuna, sushi rice, edamame, crab meat, corn, scallions, tempura crunch, sesame seeds, furikake, spicy mayo, and poke sauce. This was my first time trying a poke bowl and it was so good. Everything was very fresh, absolutely no complaints. The ambiance of the place was very casual so if you would like to sit in it's okay. The people there are very nice so service was satisfactory. The man was very patient with explaining everything and I appreciated that

Good portions, kind service, tasty fresh ingredients. I've been a regular at this place for a few months and it's pricey but super tasty. The fish is always super fresh, sushi rice perfectly cooked, and I love their mango. They also have sauces available at the door to portion out if you want to experiment with a new flavor but don't know if you'll like it in your poke. I highly recommend this place, check it out if you haven't!

This was our first time trying poke! My husband devoured his but left him still feeling a bit hungry. Mine was fine, nothing wrong with it but did not blow me away. The ingredients tasted very fresh, healthy and light which is what we were looking for so I can't complain. I ordered online and we both built our own bowls. It was ready very quickly and the lady inside was pleasant. Kinda reminds me of a healthier/fresher version of a Qdoba. Will be trying again!

Happy to have a poke spot within 10min if you live in Verona! I do think they are more stingy with toppings, especially the fish (it's just enough, but wish there was a few more bites). Because of this alone, loses stars. Altogether with the other toppings it does become sufficient, but of course the sashimi to me is still the star. I much prefer my other poke fix downtown, but this will do when I am not braving the beltline. I always go for the 50-50 sushi-brown rice mix for the stickiness and bite of both. Avocado is included in the toppings and not extra! It comes in a scoop, really creamy and not in slices which I love. I always add edamame, pineapple, masago, scallions, cashews. My only drawback is that I only manage to pick 2/3 toppings from their 2nd section, perhaps they need to regroup them? Love their sauce station right at the door! Great for mayo lovers like me who always need a lil extra. I always do takeout, crack the bowl open at home with a pack of salted seaweed. Overall a would visit bc of how much I love poke, but not a must.

If you have not eaten here try it! It's absolutely delicious!!! Love the place and the family who runs it, are really sweet.

Love the food. It is so good. The place is always clean and nice. The guy that is always there is super nice and friendly. The tuna and octopus is great. Love this place.

We have recently been stopping in at Poke Bay. Have not had anything but a great experience eating in person or take out. Fresh and tasty with great genuine ingredients with many options of Japanese/Hawaiian flavor. We plan to patronize Poke Bay on an ongoing basis and recommend others should try it out if they have not yet.

I came here because they mailed me a coupon in the mail. I love mail coupons. I ordered takeout here and was pleasantly surprised by all of their offerings and what they give you for the price. Staff was super kind, ordering was easy, and the bowl was tasty. I made my own bowl and added a ton of stuff to it. If I had any complaints, it would be that the quality of the greens (as a base I did half greens and half rice). I was sort of expecting a spring mix, but got more iceberg/romaine. I got the poke sauce on my bowl, but it was insufficient to coat the bowl's ingredients once I mixed it up. It also didn't seem to have a ton of flavor to it, but that could have simply been that it wasn't enough of it in quantity... hard to tell. I was glad that I'd taken it home to eat because I added my own additional soy and oyster sauce to it. I got the regular size, but I think I would have been perfectly fine with a small. It's not super close to me, but if I'm ever in the area I'll definitely go back!

When this place first opened it was great. But their portions have gone down quite a bit. The old large bowl would touch the top of the plastic lid but the bowls lately are about an inch or two lower than that. I'm ok with a price increase or an extra large bowl option if I could get what I used to. As it is I may have to start passing on this place

Everything is fresh and made exactly as ordered. So happy they're close by. Reasonably priced and generous portions!

This place has become my new go to poke place. There is no extra charge for premium toppings that other places charge for. The food tastes just the same as normal places if not better! The place is small but has seating. We usually do delivery or take-out anyway.

Great food with good portion sizes, plus you get it super fast. The staff are also nice and I enjoy eating there in the relaxed setting.

ordered a large they gave me basically one scoop of protein person continued to pick out a piece of salmon and put it back wtf seriously I paid 17 bucks for this bullshit, I went before and they were way better about portions now just giving you 5 pieces of meat
