A Poke Chain Touting  ‘Sushi Pizza’ Is Headed to Houston - Eater Houston

"There are plenty of places to eat poke in Houston, but one new poke chain is hoping to up the ante by also serving sushi shaped like doughnuts or pizza slices. Atlanta-based Poke Burri offers the usual assortment of customizable poke bowls and sushi burritos. But it also plies sushi into donut shapes or into a deep-fried corndog and a fish-topped rice pizza with its own nori crust." - Adele Chapin

Got this delivered via a delivery service and the food was delicious. Sushi rolls are essentially tiny burritos already but Poke Burri made everyone's dreams come true by making a regular sized version. The sushi donuts were great as well and looked amazing. The ingredients are fresh and we love the fun take they've done with poke and sushi. We ordered way too much but we ended up finishing it all because everything was just so tasty. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with Poke Burri and everything to do with simply all delivered foods, is that we didn't get to enjoy the Tokyo Fries hot out of the fryer as they were intended to be enjoyed. Overall we would highly recommend Poke Burri and we will definitely be back to try their other menu items and poke bowls!

Google
I had been to the Atlanta location many times before, so I was very much looking forward to my trip to Poke Burri today! My friends and I had a great time. I ordered the crabbirrito roll and the spring rolls, and they were both delicious! My friends ordered the Tokyo fries, demogorgon roll, the angry zuko ramen bowl, and the tuna poke bowl. Needless to say, we had a fantastic experience! This treat was totally worth the trip to Houston!

We went today to try the Sushi Donuts. We got the Crab Meat Donut and it was pretty good. It is made in the shape of a dinut then topped with the meat of your choice accordingto the menu. I wish it would've be filled with some meat. It had too much rice and a little bit of Crab Meat on top. We also ordered a BYO Burrito with Shrimp Tempura and Sea Weed Salad. I liked it but also had to much rice and a little of the other ingredients includinga small piece of shrimp. My wife had the Ken-Se' Philly Roll and it also had a little of the salmon. All the dishes had good flavor and they were flavorful. I would've like that the ingredients were more well distributed. We ordered some Fried Pork Dumplings and they were amazingly delicious. I liked that they were completely fried and crunchy on the outside. The Veggie Spring Rolls were tasty and crunchy as well. This was the best part of our meal. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent.

I came here for the sushi donut and got so much more in customer service. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Donut, Tokyo fries, 1-Up ramen, and matcha lemonade which were all very tasty. The owner brought us Asian candy with our food and checked in with us if everything was okay. When he found out they got our ramen order wrong, he immediately offered to provide the correct one to go. He even packaged the extra food in a way that will keep it fresh longer and added some extra flavoring to the broth which was a nice touch. We appreciated that the owner genuinely cared about a satisfactory customer experience and cared about good business practices. He chatted us up and told us how he's planning to set up a drive-thru which will be exciting to get poke in a convenient way! Also, the place was very clean and COVID-safe with all of the staff using masks and gloves, and they even marked the floor with social distancing signs which made us feel very comfortable about dining in.

Google
This poke is conveniently located near everything. I am so glad there is a poke closed by. But wait, it is actually good?! Yes, I love the poke from this place. It is not made like those other poke place where it feels like a chipotle style sort of poke. They made is individually for you, and it is the best poke I have eaten. They also have the donut poke which is pretty cool! I highly recommend coming here for a poke.

Google
Great food here! For its price, the food doesn't disappoint. The owner is always greeting guests and making sure everyone feels at home. If you ever find yourself at Poke Burri, make sure you ask about the secret menu.. it won't disappoint!

Google
Really tasty and fresh poke. The fish is so fresh and the bowls themselves have so much going on with the vegetables and add-ins. The sauces work very well together and make the whole poke bowl excellent The sushi donut was an interesting take on sushi/poke but I actually liked how it worked. The staff here are friendly as well! I would definitely come back

Google
If I see a poke/ramen spot that I haven’t tried yet - I stop. Such was the case when I decided to check out Poke Burri, and it was a decent choice. I ordered the shrimp wonton ramen and the crabmeat donut + shrimp tempura. The toppings and portions in the shrimp wonton ramen were great. However, the broth was extremely bland. There was 0 flavor, even after stirring heavily. I had to add a few drops of soy sauce to add some taste to it, but once I did, my ramen bowl was pretty decent. The crabmeat donut and the shrimp tempura were absolutely delicious. This was my first time having a sushi “donut” and it definitely did not disappoint. It is a solid 8/10 and I do recommend giving the place a try. The menu has lots of options, some of which I will definitely be returning for.

Yelp
The sushi corn dog brought me here, but it failed to live up to expectations. The sushi corn dog was basically just a deep fried ball of rice with possibly one stick of imitation crab inside and various sauces on top. It's a cool novelty concept, but not worth ordering. As far as the ramen, my fiancee and I ordered the tonkatsu black ramen and miso ramen (sub chicken instead of pork). Both bowls were underwhelming and lacked depth. I'm also not sure why they give such little broth. Our bowls both came out slightly above lukewarm temperature as well. Neither of us finished our food. I'm going to chalk it up as they were having an off day since they have high reviews on here and just opened a second location in Sugar Land.

Yelp
Was really feeling some ramen for lunch yesterday as they Wifey came for a visit downtown and found these guys in a general vicinity search. We got there early at around 11:15am so I'm sure that was a plus, and the employee was very polite and courteous. The presentation was great and our food tasted amazing, but after a couple of bites, i could tell that I wasn't going to be tasting the best ramen I've had in Houston. By the end of the meal, I was positive I'd never come back. Sorry, but it just didn't have that "IT" flavor and to top it off, the meal went through me like a hot knife through butter. Also, something about the sound of a "sushi taco" just doesn't scream, "let's come back!" for me.

Yelp
Pretty good fast-casual establishment. I ordered the Soy-Mate Tofu poke bowl and thought it was really delicious! The tofu was very crisp and the bowl had lot of greens and great flavors coming together. I also tried their Matcha Lemonade and enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't super impressed by their sushi donuts, since they were mostly just rice. Overall, though, not a bad place for a quick meal!

Yelp
Went here for take out on a weeknight, seemed like everyone had the same idea of ordering to go as there was nobody dining in. Ordered the classic tonkatsu, the broth was surprisingly very tasty, the pork belly was moist and tasty as well. The ramen also came with corn, bamboo shoots, black fungus, and a gooey salty egg. Also ordered the Tokyo fries, it's a definite must to try as they are delish. The portion is good for the price. Service was good and staff was friendly. Would definitely return and try the other ramen bowls they have to offer. Plenty of free parking in front of the business which is convenient. They also offer drinks like a dragon fruit lemonade which was good and had bits of dragon fruit at the bottom. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a quick fix for ramen and happen to be in midtown. You definitely won't have to wait long!

Yelp
I came here just for the seafood pizza because of the new concept. However, I don't think it is worth $15-$18 for 1 slice. I can count the amount of fish on my pizza and it's not top notch quality either. My friend got a poke bowl and it was just ok.

Yelp
I've been to pretty much every ramen spot in Houston & unfortunately this one was a pretty substandard experience. I honestly had high expectations for this place because of the good reviews & pictures. Let me get this out the way, service was great from our cashier (Jessica), which is the only reason why I'm giving it a 3 star. I decided to ordered their Angry Zuko ramen which is suppose to be their popular choice. My friend got the spicy chicken ramen & I got to try his as well. Let start with the Angry Zuko, the broth lacked in flavor & richness. Basically all I tasted was the heat of the spice. The noodles were alright but the quality was definitely cheap. The pork belly was fine, seasoning was so so, the pork itself wasn't tendered; what I can say is that they gave me 3 slices instead of 2 which is good. I also didn't like the fact that there was barely any broth & it was like the noodles sucked half of the soup. So when I started to dig in, I had little to no broth left. I guess next time I'll just ask for extra. My friend spicy chicken ramen was below par as well, the broth was basically just heat & nothing else. The chicken was the worst part, it was chewy & overcooked. The only positive thing that I can say is the egg was cooked to my liking which is a runny, but they need to marinate the eggs a little more. Overall, it was just okay. I'll come back and try their other items but far as the ramen, I won't get it again.

Yelp
Wanted to try out a different place than our usual spot of Jinya. We got the Angry Zuko, Tokyo fries and Ken-se philly roll and everything was great! I was expecting the broth to be heavy but surprisingly it was light and the spice would be a 2/5 which is perfect. The sushi was definitely fresh! The staff was extremely nice as well. Would come back again.
google avatar

Mercedes D.

Yelp
Truly, the worst Ramen I've ever had in my entire life. When I got it home, not only was there no spice, but there was no flavor. I got the chicken Ramen, but I got the pork broth with it and it tasted like something you get from a food court.
google avatar

Carolyn H.

Yelp
Came here for a last minute dinner and was really impressed! At first I thought they were a little overpriced, however the service (it was fast) and food was worth it. I got a Rainbow sushi burrito and one of the spicy ramens. Both were really good and had a lot of taste. Worth the money! I also got a $1 Thai Tea (Monday Special) and it tasted great as well. The owner was also kind. I will definitely be back in the future.

Yelp
A good vegan ramen alternative to Jinya if you don't want to pay the higher prices and deal with the crowd. Maybe it's because I only come here at night, but I don't see many dine-in customers at night. It's counter service and a steady stream pop in to do take-out or delivery service. The vegan 1up ramen is tasty with a decent amount of vegetables. The poke bowls and sushi donuts look cool, but I wouldn't know what they taste like.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Order at counter. Drink was good -- green tea something. Food was good. Ramen, sushi donut and the corn dog thing. Lots of crunch lots of flavor. It was different but a good foodie experience. Good service as well. It's not a fancy place but food is fresh and fast.
google avatar

Fatma B.

Yelp
Everything was great! The customer service was beyond this world. So attentive and patient with our curious minds. They pack the toppings for the ramen as well which I loved! Fancy places charge you for each topping and for small portions. If you're in the area definitely swing by! We both got spicy chicken ramen. Will be back soon! Thank you again for also giving my husband a veterans discount I know that made him very happy!
google avatar

Lynn D.

Yelp
I only ordered the salmon sushi donut - sushi in a donut form. The eel sauce and spicy mayo was delicious (although had quite a lot). The sushi rice was cooked perfectly. My only major complaint (hence -1 star) would be not enough salmon - there was a thin layer on the rice donut.
google avatar

Peter N.

Yelp
Food was good. Sushi donut is just a sushi shape as a donut . Ramen was flavorful and has a nice texture to the noodles and meat. Staff are kind and friendly. Can be tricky to get parking in the plaza. Decently priced. Open table seating.

Yelp
While visiting Houston, my family wanted to have some Ramen and we saw "Lifting Noodles" pop up in our search. We decided to give it try and we are really happy that we did!! The owner/manager kindly greeted us and took the time to show us and explain what was offered on their menu. The Spicy Kimchi Ramen and Tonkotsu "Classic" Ramen were spot on! Noodles cooked just right, creamy broth, pork belly and soft boiled egg were made perfectly. There are many Ramen noodle houses back in my home town, but none of them have impressed me like this place! Of course we had to try the Spicy Tuna donut and the Spicy Tuna Nacho's. These are a must try!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some great Ramen and Asian fusion type dishes. I will definitely stop in, when I visit Houston again!

Yelp
10/10. The service was amazing, the ramen was so flavorful and incredible, and the location was clean and COVID guidelines were being followed appropriately. We both ordered the Angry Zuko Ramen. This spicy ramen is perfect for those who love the flavor that comes with spice. The chef talked to us and told us about how their chili paste is homemade, and made sure to ask us how our food tasted. It's always nice, as another reviewer has said, to see someone care so much about their food and how customers feel about it. There's a wonderful sesame, garlic, onion, and chili flavor to this bowl - and the pork bone broth is rich without being thick or having a weird texture as some other broths often do. The noodles have a good bite to them as they should, and the soft boiled egg was perfectly cooked. My friend had pork belly with hers and told me it was hands down the best pork belly she'd had in ramen in her life - and we get ramen a LOT. Again, 10/10. We will be back ! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Yelp
Ramen was OK. Underwhelmed Flavor was 3/5 Good portion size Staff was friendly Poke is a better option here

Yelp
I was looking for some warm and cozy ramen one night and decided to give Lifting Noodles a try. I ordered the black tonkatsu ramen. The presentation was cute, and I loved the perfectly soft-boiled egg. However, the actual flavor of the ramen broth lacked depth and richness, landing it straight into the 'just ok' category of ramen. I might give this place another try and order something else, but it wouldn't be my first choice. However, if you're wanting some ramen delivered and have spices and toppings of your own to add flavor, then this could be the place for you. They did include a nice little card with the order which I appreciated.

Yelp
This places surprises and blown our taste buds away. I got the super poke bowl. So much flavor and so much fish. The ingredients was fresh. I don't eat spicy so the spicy tuna was little too spicy for me. The sushi rice was perfectly cooked. Tonkustu black ramen. Wow! Broth was flavorful, rich and creamy. Lots of garlic flavor as well. The noodle has the right chewy bouncy consistency. Meat is thick cut and does not leave you with a nasty porky aftertaste. Chicken ramen. This is exactly as the pork version except with chicken. The broth is flavorful, rich, and creamy as well. The chicken meat well seasoned. The portion was generous. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Great customer service.

Molly D.

Yelp
I ordered to go and the man who took my order (I think he was the owner) was super kind & helpful. He checked ingredients and explained everything very well. He was knowledgeable of my dietary restrictions and I truly appreciate the vegan ramen option. It is not my absolute favorite place to get ramen but it is definitely impressive. Broth is tasty and although I would prefer more greens in my ramen, the toppings hit the spot too. The only thing I didn't like was the black mushrooms on top. They look gross and I will ask to not have them next time. But tbh I am not a mushroom lover to begin with. Anyways, I definitely recommend trying this place out. If this doesn't work for you, my top two ramen spots are Jinya & rakkan ramen. May the force be with you my lil veganettes

Yelp
Totally delish!!!!! I had the shrimp wonton, ordered the chicken for mom and she absolutely loved it instantly felt better after she's been feeling under weather! Thank y'all so much.

Yelp
Not from houston but when i come here i like to try new places . Me and a few family friends were looking for somewhere to eat when we all suddenly thought ramen was a great choice, and it was here! Very welcoming and friendly with new customers, especially us having a four year old with us! The staff was very helpful and friendly. from ordering to helping us pack our ramen to go ! Great ramen but definitely make sure you enjoy everything it comes with . spring rolls were the best i've ever had even for the small size . pork dumplings were not my forte but they were tasty!
google avatar

Sophia S.

Yelp
Came here with a couple of friends as an alternative to the usual (Jinya or Ramen Tatsu-ya). Overall, the ramen quality is solid - springy noodles, deliciously fatty chashu, a good variety of toppings. From the photos, it doesn't look like there is much broth in the bowls, but I was pleasantly surprised at the amount that was hidden beneath the noodles. I opted for the Tonkotsu Black, which was quite tasty. However, I have to deduct a star because it almost tasted a little too light rather than the classic rich, creamy broth that I was expecting. I'm actually wondering if somehow an ingredient got left out my broth, since my friend said that she liked her bowl better than Jinya (!!). As of now, I can't say that it's better than Jinya, but I would love to come back sometime to try the other options.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Yummy ramen and poke! Service was fast and the resturant was nearly empty on a weekday night. Great neighborhood spot when you're craving ramen.
google avatar

William K.

Yelp
The ramen is a bit pricey for what it tastes. The broth was good and had enough ramen but something is missing and I am not sure what it is. I wanted to try out new places besides Ramen Tatsuya and Jinya. I got the Angry Zuko, it was packed with flavor and clean broth. But like I said it doesn't taste authentic and is the missing depth of flavor. They also have sushi burritos and other fusion items there to try. It is an interesting place where you can get anything you want. It is a place where you order at the front and picks up the food. Tip: They clean it after you, I was confused about how to clean up after myself for a couple of minutes after we were done. Follow me on Instagram @willeatfood
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
Very tasty lunch! Lifting noodles has some awesome Asian fusion items to try out in addition to some traditional ramen. I got their Ying-Yang sushi donut (which is half spicy tuna and half crab) and Angry Zuko Ramen. I liked both dishes but the ramen is the highlight of my meal. They nailed down all the components of their ramen: Al dente (not soggy) noodles, clean pork broth with a subtle spice that tickles your tastebuds, the perfect soft boiled egg, and the rest of the ingredients (wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, corn, and pork belly). All of these work harmoniously to make a well balanced bowl of ramen. The broth does taste a little bit different compared to a traditional bowl of ramen but I thought it was a nice touch. If you're looking for a new place to satisfy your adventurous tastebuds, look no further than lifting noodles!

Yelp
My boyfriend is a ramen person, so we make sure that we try all the ramen spots in town (that's the goal ) I had the Spicy Miso Ramen. It was pretty sad that they didn't have spicy levels but they gave us sides of chilli oil to customize our noodles so that was a huge plus for customer service. Everything was good but not extraordinary. I kinda regretted getting the Miso one because I didn't like the broth. My boyfriend had the Angry Zuko Ramen and it was good. The broth was better than my miso though. The soup was good, it was just a little too oily (maybe because of the chilli oil that we added ) so at the end i couldn't finish my dish.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out because of the comparison to Jinya. Not bad, but could use some improvement. I ordered the "Angry Zuko" w/ extra tonkatsu and it was good. I feel the portion was a little smaller than other places such a Jinya, Tiger Den, etc..but overall, the flavor was good. It wasn't that spicy for me, but the person had brought out some chili paste for me. I would've given 5 stars, but when the ramen arrived and I took a bite into the pork katsu, it was cold and so was the egg...not like fully cold, but like partially cold towards one side. Overall, not bad...might give another chance in the future... The staff is amazing though. Very nice and friendly service. Hospitality!

Yelp
Excellent Ramen! I am a snob when it comes to Ramen and this hit all the right spots. I tried the spicy tuna donut as well and the flavors were delicate, fresh and on point. The texture of the ramen noodles and all accompanying ingredients were cooked with precision and thoughtfulness. I was very excited to try this new houston gem and they did not disappoint. I took off a star for atmosphere but the staff made up for it with friendliness and patience. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Alexander C.

Yelp
One of my new favorite ramen spots in Houston! I ordered the Angry Zuko ramen bowl and these guys knocked of out of the park. The noodles, egg, and pork were all cooked to perfection and just tender enough. The broth was packed with flavor and had a nice little bite to it. The portion was more than enough to fill me up. The owner of the place immediately drew me in. He was very friendly, helped me navigate the menu, and seems to genuinely care about the quality of his food and guest experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I was going to attach a photo but I destroyed the ramen before I could think to capture it ‍
google avatar

Remy C.

Yelp
I love when small businesses get it right!!!! I am a ramen fanatic, or a Ramen connoisseur if you will. I ordered the Angry Zuko and loved it! it was a great mix of flavors that kept making me go back in with my spoon and chopsticks. Give this spot a try you will not be upset.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Honestly, this is my new favorite ramen in Houston (sorry Jinya). The broth and cha-siu is amazing. What's better is their delivery packaging keeps the food in great shape vs. the paper packaging from other restaurants.
google avatar

Vy N.

Yelp
Originally we wanted to come here to check out their ramen. The menu based on Avatar The Last Airbender characters definitely got my attention, but when we got there and saw that they had Sushi Pizza, the ramen had to wait until the next visit. We ordered the "seafood" pizza, which had plenty of salmon, edamame and cucumbers. I like the creativity and presentation of the dish, the only complain we have is the sauce is too sweet in my opinion. The tuna nacho was good, plenty of tuna, they used fried wonton skin instead of regular nacho chip, very crispy and not too oily. Also another plus is they have plenty of parking.
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
I got the 1-UP Ramen with a matcha lemonade and really liked both! The eggs noodles were delicious and the perfect amount of bite to them. The broth was very flavorful too. I would highly recommend this place. The bowl itself was comparable to the Flying Vegan at Jinya but a much lower price point. I will def be coming back soon. Oh and the employees were great too!
google avatar

Christien W.

Yelp
I think I've found a new favorite ramen place! I tried the Angry Zuko and it was 10/10. The broth was very rich and flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I couldn't finish the broth so ofc I took the rest home. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile, but every time I called and asked if the outdoor seating was available, they always said no. And finally this time the owner was kind enough to put a table and chairs outside for us. Such a great customer service right there! Jinya had always been my go to place for ramen, but now this place is definitely added to my favorites. I also tried the salmon sushi donut. It's not on the menu, but again the owner made it happen! Also, the strawberry lemonade was so refreshing! Definitely had such a great experience at this place. Highly recommend it!!!
google avatar

Yelp
In all honesty, the angry pho is decent, however, it's needs to be seasoned.... It's like eating hot chili beepers by itself with no salt... please learn to season so that I can come back
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
Ordered ramen and fried spring rolls for dinner tonight. Honestly not the best ramen I've ever had which could be due to the fact it was delivered. The noodles were way over done.
google avatar

Ginny M.

Yelp
My friends and I normally go to Jinya as our go to but we decided to try somewhere new. This place is in the heart of Midtown and in a shopping center with a parking lot! That is a major plus because parking in Midtown normally stresses me out. The manager came out gave us his recommendations and was so nice. The tonkatsu black was very good. Super savory umami flavors. The portion was hearty and the manager warned us it would be but we still got the Tokyo fries and the salmon donut anyway. They also have poke if you're in the mood for that. The friendly staff and parking gave this place major points but will also be back for the ramen. Also, as always, love supporting small business!
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
I had the black tonkotsu ramen. It was good. And I liked the place. It's very casual. So even though Jinya has better ramen, this place is more relaxed. Worth paying a visit.
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
I mean the ramen was good. I got the angry zuko ramen and the broth just wasn't that great. It definitely wasn't bad it just lacked richness. Also not sure how I feel about corn being in there
google avatar

Taehee I.

Yelp
WARNING: This is not genuine ramen. They use instant ramen noodles. These are without a doubt cellophane noodles found in instant ramen packs. You can tell from the first bite. Paying 13 dollars for instant ramen? That is actual daylight robbery. The broth is also nothing special at all. Tastes very bland, basically just MSG water with a ton of oil. If this ramen was 5-6 dollars? Okay, I'll give it a pass for value. But for 13 dollars? You could make something nicer at home with a shin ramyeon packet. There is no doubt in my mind the well received reviews are from Americans who's idea of genuine Asian food is Panda Express and PG Changs.
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
It was cold and rainy so we thought we'd give this new place a try (since we live nearby). I got the "spicy challenge" ramen and it was ok at best. 1) the noodles didn't taste that great. I felt like I was eating top ramen noodles. 2) the egg was definitely over cooked (yolk was solid). 3) the spicy level was mediocre at best. The description says that if you finish, you'll end up on their Instagram wall of fame (it turns out that it doesn't exist). At one point, I requested more spice because it just wasn't that hot. While the other points were unfortunate, I think the spice level was by far the most disappointing. It's unfortunate that this place didn't work out. I was hoping for a great ramen place within walking distance. Oh well
google avatar

Chineye E.

Yelp
Gotta be honest I had high hopes because this is a three month old restaurant and the reviews were super positive, but there wasn't really much of any flavor in my tonkotsu :/. It felt like it was missing basic salt , no garlic flavor it had a noticeable layer of oil that turned me off . The noodle were nice. The actual broth was really underwhelming :(.

Yelp
Loved their chicken ramen, it was so good! The owner was super nice and attentive to his dining in customers. Worth trying and the wait for food was under 15min

Yelp
Instead of going to Jinya which is my usual go-to, I saw this new place on Yelp and wanted to check them out. It's in a strip center in Midtown where the old Ibiza used to be. The space is pretty stripped down to basics, so it's more of a casual place than a date night spot. You go up to the counter and order and since it was COVID, I got mine pretty quickly as I was the only customer eating in although there were lots of takeout orders. I ordered the Black Tonkatsu Ramen which was reasonably priced at $13. The chef/owner hand delivered it himself to my table. At first I was a little disappointed because the bowl looked rather small and shallow but he assured me that looks can be deceiving as he had filled the bowl almost to the brim unlike Jinya's which has a bigger bowl but is only filled halfway. The broth looked so rich and was redolent of garlic and black sesame. The first taste made my eyes open wide with delight. The ramen noodles were perfectly chewy not overcooked like at Jinya where I always have to substitute the thick noodles to avoid limp and soggy thin noodles. Although delicious and soft, there wasn't a whole lot of pork chashu so I was glad I had ordered extra protein for $2 as well as extra shiitake mushroom. The broth was so good I asked for a container to take the leftovers home. The chef kindly offered to top it up for me. That sealed the deal, I'll be back!

Yelp
Tried their ramen takeout. Great broth and very satisfying. Definitely will come back for more.

Yelp
The best ramen noodles I have ever had! Hands down, the spice was on point, pork, marinated boiled egg, corn everything in it! My girlfriend had the sushi donuts and she is obsessed. We will 100% be back here soon as we can!

Yelp
Ramen is really good and the owner is very kind. I could not recommend a place more. I went with my lovely girlfriend, I ordered the Angry Zuko Ramen and my girlfriend ordered the spicy Kim chi ramen, both of which were very good.

Yelp
Surprisingly good. Came here because I couldn't wait in line for Jinya. The broth is more flavorful and fast service.
