Cross contamination when they pick up the food and they fall everywhere into different compartments. The salad was so disgusting coming out of the plastic bag they brought out- I almost threw up when I saw it. Would like to try again without the salad next time, but the quality was very concerning.

The rice was super fresh and warm which makes a big difference in the quality of a poke bowl. The rest of the ingredients tasted great (no slimy fish or underripe mango!) and the scoops were generous.

I have loved Poke Dojo for a long time and ordered regularly. The bowls have been wonderful. However, the past several weeks I have only had one correct order. The first error had the wrong fish type, the second order had no fish at all, and this most recent order completely swapped key ingredients in two bowls in the same order to a point that one bowl was unable to be consumed. The only option for customer service help is to call the store where no one answered. I am very understanding of the occasional mistake, we are all human and I am far from perfect. I did not request a refund at all for the first mistake. The second mistake was a delivery where is was only partially refuneded, and this third error was a pick up and I couldn’t get in touch. But spending nearly $20 per bowl and to have 3 out of 4 orders incorrect in significant ways is disappointing.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I think I'm in love 😊 I've missed a good Poke Bowl. Google lead me here and I'm glad they did! Customer service is always very good. Worth every penny! I've been satisfied everytime I visit. Flavors are fresh and just wakes your mouth up😋 lol. I got medium and large bowls. I've tried garlic shrimp, imitation crab, spicy tuna and marinade salmon for proteins. I get sushi rice as my base. And enjoy the topping options. Avocado $2 up charge. Cucumbers, red onions, pickled ginger, seaweed salad , mangoes definitely add a kick! You can add on sprinkles like tempura flakes! And plenty of other options! One of my favorite spots! And they have good groupon deals sometimes.

taste is good, the portions are WAY BETTER than poke dc chain and the price is about the same, definitely worth it and better. and sometimes u can even enjoy a Groupon with them. that's a big plus! I order with 3 proteins, so my bowl looks way 2 full always, u can't even distinguish anything 😜

Place is good, its ehh kinda on the pricey side, the service is really good. We had a few small children with us and they came to our table with some ice cream samples for them free of charge which was really great. The bowl I ordered was pretty good, its definitely a place to go if you like poke bowls.

I would say 7/10 for a fast-food style restaurant, taste is ok level, the mix is not dry enough for a poki bowl, no tap water provided, white light room.

Edited after several solid, correct deliveries. Original review: I truly love the good here. I ordered lunch at least once a week until quality control issues deterred me. I got seafood twice despite ordering tofu. That’s dangerous. I ordered again recently after taking a break, and my second order is missing its drink. I would love to give 5/5 but as a delivery customer, I don’t know what I’m going to get, and don’t have time at work to re-order.

I don't like raw fish! So, why am I here? My wife and I planned to be in Bethesda, and she loves poke bowls. So, she's the reason. :) I looked for a highly rated poke bowl restaurant and found that this place is directly linked to Kusshi Sushi. We love the dishes at Kusshi Sushi. I assumed that the quality of food here would be similar, and it was! We got 2 "Build Your Own" bowls. That way, we get what we like, and I avoid raw fish. If you don't want to build your own bowl, then you can pick from a list of signature bowls. Those bowls have preselected ingredients. Build your own bowl starts with a choice of bowl size. Each size comes with a certain number of scoops of protein. They have regular, large, extra large, and no protein. We picked large. That came with 3 scoops. You can get more scoops for an extra charge. The build order continues as follows: proteins, toppings, sprinkles, and sauces. You can pick more than one type of everything. Some choices have an extra charge. Those are zucchini noodles, avocado, and masago (fish roe). My wife's bowl had brown rice, marinated tuna, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, cucumbers, carrots, edamame, red onions, cilantro, crispy onion, sesame seeds, furikake, wasabi aioli, and sesame dressing. It was SPICY! Less wasabi aioli next time. There were more than enough chunks of fish. The quality was good. They were soft, not mushy. There was no bad smell or taste. The bowl was flavorful, but the fish flavors were prominent. Everything looked and tasted fresh. It was a raw fish lover's paradise. My wife loved it! It was good enough that I could eat it. And I really dislike raw fish! My bowl had spring mix, garlic shrimp, carrots, cucumbers, edamame, pickled ginger, red onions, scallions, cilantro, crispy onion, crispy garlic, tempura flakes, sesame seeds, rice puffs, furikake, wasabi aioli, eel sauce, and sesame dressing. The garlic shrimp was tender and delicious. The bowl was bursting with flavor. Every taste sensation was there - sweet, sour, salty, bitter, savory, spicy, and fatty. I removed the pickled ginger because it was very strong in ginger flavor which was somewhat bitter. This bowl was incredibly well-rounded. Thanks to Poke Dojo for all the great ingredients! FYI, eel sauce contains soy sauce, sugar, mirin, and sake. It was sweet, salty, and savory with a touch of smokiness from caramelization. I'm glad they have it! It's called eel sauce because it is commonly used in Japanese cooking to glaze eel. The service was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and polite. We were guided through the process smoothly. All questions were answered well. A great service experience! The dining room and restroom were clean. They have one restroom for customers. There were only 13 seats in a small dining room. Parking is available at Colonial Parking garage or Bethesda Elm Street garage. Both have hourly rates. Bethesda Elm Street garage is free on Sunday. Colonial Parking has the closest access with an elevator. If you're looking for poke bowls with quality ingredients, then this place should be on your list.

Haven't visited since my last review, but today I just got a drink and chocolate ice cream mochi. They were out of the other flavor options, but the chocolate was flavorful. The sign for the mochi is at the end of the ordering area and a little difficult to find if you didn't know they offered it. A different placement may help.

Loved the poke bowls here! I got the vegan and lava bowl to go. Staff was friendly and built both bowls really nicely. I was very happy with the taste of my vegan bowl. Prices are high but it's good stuff. You can also buy other snacks and goodies.

Think of a Chipotle, but for poke. I was visiting a friend and needed a quick bite to eat. I got the Dojo bowl (slightly pricey) but really tasty. This was a very generous serving and the fish tasted SO FRESH!

I've been to the brick and mortar in Bethesda, but I've mostly had poke from their food truck. Happy that the truck is back out and about! I got a bowl at the farmers market today, and it's just as good as I remember it! The sushi rice has a great flavor. A little sticky and chewy without being mushy. The greens are chopped enough so you can take a normal bite without looking like a rabbit hitting a lettuce jackpot! The fish is always great texture and flavor! I love all the toppings, but beware! The red onions are potent!

Very good poke! The spicy tuna is actually not just Maryland spicy which was a pleasant surprise. Everything in my bowl was great, except they need to care for their avocados better; when my husband asked for avocado on his bowl it came out very black... which caused me to skip it. If you're going to charge $2 to add avocado, do the lemon juice trick and keep it fresh. The only other thing odd was that every other poke place I've been to, imitation crab doesn't count as one of the chargeable proteins -- it's usually included with the freebie toppings. I skipped it lest my bowl get too pricy. The garlic shrimp + spicy tuna combo was nice. Hubby didn't like some of the crispy toppings, said they were a little stale. I didn't add any so mine was just fine. A soda fountain would be a good addition here, they have various sugary drinks (Ramune, Kona coffee) in a cooler but nothing sugar free except water as far as I could tell. But, overall, I greatly enjoyed my bowl and it is easy to park here on the weekends so hopefully will come often.

Ok, updating my review, they added back the option for no sauce...so I'm back to ordering this basically once a week when I'm working from home. Yum!

This is my second time trying this place in Bethesda. Today I ordered One of their signature bowls: Lava Bowl. It came with plenty of tuna and shrimp. It was tasty, fresh and seemed healthy. I like Bethesda area in general especially the location of this restaurant. So I'm going to be a little partial towards this place. Having said that, it is still pretty consistent. Never too empty not crowded. There is a parking garage nearby or you can use the metered parking on the street which might be a little difficult to get. Store interior itself isn't great but there is comfortable seating area in front. It's like the chipotle of poke. But in a good way.

I bumped into this place while walking in Bethesda and popped in for some poke bowl. You can choose different size bowls according to how many scoops of protein you'd like. I was excited to see zoodles on the menu which I did half Spring mic & half zucchini noodles. Zoodles are 1.59 extra and avocado $2 extra. The best part about this place is that they have a wide range of Japanese snacks to choose from which I've never seen flavors in the states, e.g. shrimp flavored Doritos? I need to come back and stick up for sure.

Food: 5/5 There is a Groupon for this place - $13 for two vouches of $10 worth of food. If you have student email, you could get 25% off local deals. In addition, you could also wait for the occasional 25-30% discounts if you're tight on cash! This place is located in downtown Bethesda on Bethesda Row, so there is plenty of seating outdoors. The indoor seating is currently closed due to COVID-19. Regarding COVID-19 safety, the staffs properly wear their masks and use gloves. I normally pile on all of the toppings because -- well, why not? The more the merrier, haha. I don't quite know what some of the toppings are, to be honest, but I love trying new things, so I was open to trying everything. The style of dining is similar to Chipotle, which you choosing your base, the type of meat/seafood, and adding toppings on top. They also have an adorable snack section where you can buy some Asian goodies. My "go-to" base is half white rice/half brown rice with spicy tuna and/or salmon. You can mix and match, which is what I love about Poke Dojo. It's definitely well worth the money. The food usually lasts me two meals since I order so many toppings.

Really solid poke place with huge portions. This may actually be the biggest poke bowl I've ever received. I've only been here once so far, so I'm not sure if this was an anomaly, but they didn't skimp on the proteins whatsoever; there were large chunks of salmon and tuna in my bowl. The quality of the fish isn't the best I've had but the large portions made up for it. What also stood out the most was their extra ripe and tender mango pieces. I'm used to hard raw mangos that are far from their peak ripeness. All in all, biggest perks of this place are the large fish portion and delicious mango pieces. Would have to revisit to see if thy are consistent. I'd definitely return if they are consistent with their large portions.

Stopped by to pick up a quick dinner on Sunday evening. There were no diners seated inside the restaurant. The staff were attentive and worked quickly. I was in and out in under three minutes. Even after trucking the food home on a half hour walk, the food was fresh, light, and very tasty. I don't really understand the $3 open...[something]...fee that was attached to my bill for the can of Kona Coffee that I purchased. While there were no cold cans in the display fridge, the staff gave me a can from an unopened flat. This location is located within walking distance from the Bethesda Metro stop on the Red line. AmEx is accepted here.

Poke Dojo is a great place to get poke. The fish and other toppings are all very fresh and the portions are generous. I found out about this place from Groupon which saved us some money. They are part of the Hanaro/Kusshi restaurant group and all of their places are equally wonderful.

I want to love it here. I've ordered from here several times but it is never perfect. Maybe I need to go into the store and order instead of relying on DoorDash. The one time I did go into the store I placed a few orders for myself and others and had the orders in my phone but they were not written in the order the line is set up (my bad). The employee was definitely frustrated that he was going back and forth because I didn't want to go out of order and miss something on an order . Think of chipotle but starting with rice then salsa instead of meat. ‍ The food is great. I've never had any issues with the quality of the food or fish. I get a medium bowl and it is definitely a full and satisfying meal. I'm just leaving three stars because it is very inconsistent and there are always small things wrong. When I say small things, I mean there's red onion when I didn't order red onion, no ginger when I ordered ginger, sauce on it when I ordered it on the side. None of these things are awful but it happens pretty much every time. The second piece is the inconsistency of each order. I order basically the same thing each time. As an example, sometimes there is a literal ton of fish, sometimes there is way less. The pieces of fish are occasionally too large to eat comfortably in a single bite, sometimes they are more normal sized. I received at least a full cup of edamame in my most recent order and had giant chunks of cucumber. In the past, I've received a more normal amount of edamame and cucumbers were a more average size. Again nothing is terrible and I do enjoy the food I just wish it were more consistent each time we ordered. That said, we'll be back but maybe make more of an effort to pickup when possible so we are there when it is being made.

Honestly, the main reason that I tried out this place is that they participate in American Airlines Dining point program, and with COVID I needed to find a way to keep my miles active so I can use them whenever the world has calmed down a bit. I was first introduced to poke in Hawaii, so I've had the real deal, and this stuff is pretty good. I had two varieties of tuna in my bowl (spicy and marinated) and both had excellent flavor. There are a wide variety of bases for the bowls, and they're willing to adjust (I asked for half rice). They're also willing to put any of the sauces on the side so you can season and flavor your bowl exactly how you want it! I really appreciated this, because I wasn't sure how spicy the spicy tuna would be (its definitely spicy) and wanted to have the ability to balance it out if needed. There was no one in the restaurant when I ordered so the process was very quick and easy. I didn't notice a menu, but I had looked over the menu online so I knew what I wanted. The only suggestion I have for improvements has to do with the physical store--not the food! Right now they have the options for bases, proteins, toppings, sauces, etc written on the plexiglass that divides you from the staff preparing your food. It was hard to read. Having them printed and posted somewhere, or even written somewhere with a dark background, would make it much easier to read through the options if one hasn't gone over the menu online first. Definitely good and definitely a place that I want to return to!

The food is amazing here, the staff is very nice and was patient with me being my first time here and not knowing what to get, they gave me recommendations. Highly recommend, worth the visit and would go here again

My wife and I received a coupon for $7 off your $15 meal so decided to make Poke Dōjō our COVID mission. We ordered on their website and surprisingly it said our order would be ready in 4 minutes. I went with the brown rice bowl with shrimp and spicy mayo. The website limits you to two sauces which kinda stinks because I love trying them all. For my toppings I did all things crunchy such as ginger, crispy garlic, and scallions. After the first bite I knew I had put together something great. My only regret was adding edamame, which for reason had a strange texture to them. Poke Dōjō is a great addition to Bethesda Row and is an excellent option for poke bowls on the go. Personally this meal reminded me of the wonders of Shophouse and the whirlwind of flavors it delivered.

This might be my new favorite Poke place in the DMV. With the pandemic, Poke Dojo is still operating but be aware that from the outside looking in, it looks somewhat closed. The employees here are friendly and service is super quick. Their menu is also conveniently written on their glass counter, making it easy to order food. It's a bit like how Chipotle conducts their business where you order your ingredients down and across the counter. Poke in general is a bit on the pricier side but I think Poke Dojo sets their bowls at a very reasonable price ($10, $12, $14 --for 2, 3 or 4 protein choices). I decided to visit 2 days ago to grab a 3 protein-choice bowl and chose their spicy tuna, salmon and garlic shrimp. I wasn't too fond of their extra charges on Avocado and other ingredients but I think it's worth it. I also tried their Mango fountain drink (which is homemade/refillable and I highly recommend).

I love the food, but sadly the new coworkers are not the best as the old ones they had. I used to love the morning shifts people there was two girls.. but there was assuming the manager in a laptop and sweats never helping when it got hectic. This place needs to be more organized as well. It's a mess. These coworkers are lazy now and are very not clean. Stop hiring random people and actually get the right folks that makes the company way better.

It was a Groupon that brought me to Poké's dojo the first time, but I've been back again and again because it's fresh with a stellar selection of tasty toppings

Fresh fish, limited selection of toppings. They're fine if you go in person, but they really shortchange you on the portion sizes when you do takeout! We ordered 3-protein bowls (myself, a 12 year old and a 15 year old)- the bowls were half full. We were hungry at the end of "dinner" and I had to make dumplings to fill us up. The tab was north of $85 with tip, tax and delivery fee. Never again!

Poke Dojo is average all around. First of all why is it a dojo? I guess playing the Asian card because people might associated poke with Japanese sushi or something? They're in a very central location in downtown Bethesda and it may the be the only reason they get some traffic. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to check out this place. At any rate, the poke itself isn't bad. It's nothing special and it's clear that they cater to the person not too familiar with poke. They sell kombucha for $4.50 a bottle. So if you're looking for a raw fishy fix, this place exists while you stroll around the nice area.

Really cool concept here. They have a few premade bowls or you can build your own. It's about $15-$17 but honestly you can make this two meals. I usually get the dojo bowl but might make my own next time. Good quality, and great staff.

Ordered take out from here and everything came as ordered but it was a mess. Both containers were leaking and there was fairly a good amount of liquid in the plastic bag. This was a good problem I guess since it meant the bowls were completely full and wouldn't close. However, because they were so full, it was hard to mix everything around and I took a HUGE bite of just jalapeños. Now, I get it's supposed to be spicy. But as a TOPPING, I feel like I got a huge scoop versus a sprinkling. It was really unpleasant to eat. I ended up picking them out. Other than that, everything else was good. Spicy tuna was good and not fishy. Shrimp and crab meat were okay. Spring mix and rice were good and all the toppings, especially the crunchy ones, were yummy. Overall, this hit the spot but I would probably try a different place next time.

This was an average bowl of poke.. nothing to get too excited about. The price was a tad expensive, however, they did provide an expansive selection of toppings. My biggest complaint was the amount of jalapeños that were in my bowl. It was sooo spicy that I ended up having to take all of them out. There were just too many in relation to the rest of the ingredients.

Delicious pokes! We will be definitely returning. We made our own poke bowls, all ingredients fresh and delicious. We also purchased some sweets for the kids.

I like Japanese food and snacks. Poke Dojo has good food and a great selection of snacks. If you like sushi, this place will cater to that with a chipotle-style setup packed with all kinds of sushi ingredients including rice, vegetables, fish and shellfish. They also sell ramune . 5 stars.

Both staff were very friendly and patient. The lava bowl was spicy in good way with shrimp, tuna, salmon and variety of ingredients. The aloha bowl was delicious and sweet, because there were mangoes and pineapple mixed with shrimp and a few vegetables.

It's absolutely delicious!! Worth the money!! I ordered Poke Dojo with a few friends a few weeks ago and now we are addicted! The fish is so fresh and the portion they give is amazing, and it's so flavorful I absolutely recommend getting it. Also the kombucha is good though it may not be worth the price lol

I was really craving poke and this place definitely satisfied. The fish was fresh and the vegetables were crunchy, and the seasonings were great. The only reasons why I am docking a star are due to 1) noise and 2) price. First, it was very difficult to place my order - the employee taking my order could not hear me even though I was speaking loudly. Second, while the quality was excellent, the amount of food I ordered did not justify the $17 price tag. The food was delicious and I would certainly go back, just know that you will spend a pretty penny for it.

I decided to try this poke place in Bethesda after seeing a promotion it was having with the MocoShow. I ordered my Poke in advanced and was ready right when I got there! The ingredients were placed beautifully in the bowl, showcasing lots of colors. However, I felt as though the ingredients were not fresh. My mangos were extremely hard and inedible. The cucumbers were also really hard. The options were limited compared to other poke places I've tried out. I would say this is a decent place to try out.

The poke bowls here are delicious! The salmon tasted really fresh, and the balance of rice and edamame in the bowl complemented the taste really well. There is plenty of seating outside to enjoy your bowl while it's still warm outside. They have bowls created from their recipes, or you can build your own.

The interior is very clean and modern-looking. Menu items are displayed electronically on the wall and the ingredients in front of you are well-labeled. I opted to build my own poke brown rice bowl with 2 proteins (chose marinated tuna and salmon). The customer also gets many choices for veggie toppings and sauce choices. The portion was very generous, and service was friendly. Taste wise, the tuna and salmon were very fresh, the sauce and toppings added great texture and flavor to the dish. A very light and refreshing summer choice. 2 thumbs up from me, a very happy customer !

They accept groupons and are open for pickup and walk ins. Ordered to-go small and medium - super generous with everything. I like asking for a mix of ginger and sesame dressing.

Went here for lunch and ordered the "Lava Bowl," which was heaps of spicy tuna, spicy salmon, garlic shrimp, masago, and jalapeno. It was truly massive...seriously, I couldn't even finish half. Ingredients were very fresh and I liked that they included a lot of seaweed salad as well. For $13.50 I thought it was a good value. Next time I would probably order a small (2 scoops of protein), but I also like the fact that they offer a "baby" size (1 scoop). The interior is pretty basic, but I liked the fact that they have bar seating along the wall and windows for those sitting down for a quick lunch before heading back to the office. Glad I gave Poke Dojo a try and I'm looking forward to trying other bowls (Dojo, Keto) on my next visit.

It was tough to rate this place. In California, this would be a 2 star at best. In Bethesda, I suppose it's a 3 star due to the lack of poke options. First off, they only have 3 types of fish: tuna, salmon, and shrimp. You can get the tuna and salmon either plain, marinated, or spicy. I got the spicy tuna and marinated salmon. The salmon did not taste fresh and not a ton of flavor. The tuna was fine but not memorable. The veggie options were fine, but again didn't taste that fresh. Sauce options were minimal. Very forgettable but if you want a quick option for poke in Bethesda, it's serviceable.

Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon in February. There was no line and I got helped right away. There's a huge variety of bases and ingredients. I chose the lava bowl that included tuna, salmon, and shrimp. The marinades that the fish were soaked in were delicious and the temperatures and consistencies of the fish were perfect. The servings were huge and kept me full the entire rest of the day. There's a nice sized indoor dining space and the outdoor area is super cute and perfect for warmer weather.

I ordered a poke bowl from here through doordash on a weekday evening and I decided to build my own. I ordered the spicy salmon topped with avocado, seasoning crispy shallots, and sesame seeds. The portion size was pretty good and I actually got a good amount of avocado, which was surprising as most places are pretty stingy when it comes to the avo's! I give this place a 4 because I really don't have any complaints. Although the food didn't blow me away, I wasnt mad at it either. I don't really eat poke bowls either so I don't have much to compare to. Overall, a decent meal and great portion size

Wow! I just tried this restaurant's food and it's fantastic. It's fresh, well seasoned, healthy. I'll definitely order from here again. To the owner: please open a restaurant in Columbia or College Park Maryland.

So yummy! Got a bowl with tofu and tons of toppings! The tofu was amazing- it was fried and tasted so good! The sushi rice was so yummy. And the wide variety of toppings and sauces were all amazing- they're unlimited! I love the seaweed salad, the spicy mayo dressing, and sesame dressing. And the person made my bowl so pretty! Great vegetarian and vegan options! I hope we get a place like this over by me in PG county!

I usually drive all the way to Virginia to get poke but all I have to say is wow... ive found my new poke spot! Everything was so fresh and delicious. A regular bowl goes for about 10$ with 2 protein options Medium bowl $12 with three protein options . There's even a vegan option! Unlimited toppings and only 2$ for avocado. I highly recommend trying out the spicy salmon as your protein choice! My friends also said the tuna was bomb... might as well try it all! And for all the mochi ice cream lovers... it's 2 for 5$ with awesome flavors. The perfect dessert after a delicious meal!! There's a ton of street parking but my friends and I went around 2pm and there was none available. So if you go during busy hours.. park in the parking garage next to the store across from north face and Georgetown cupcakes. It's located directly behind Nandos!

Simple, no fuss, affordable, even though it's in Bethesda row :) highly recommend if you're looking for that poke fix. Plus, they have Maine sodas on tap.

Poke Dojo Is Dead To Us. We have been consistent patrons, ordering usually once a week and tolerating the almost inevitable screw-ups of our orders. Today was the last straw. We tried to order last night and called at 7:20 to order for our son's 9th birthday - the only meal he wanted - only to be told by the teenager on the other line that they had just put away all of the food. Even though they closed at 8pm! So we punted the birthday dinner to tonight. Again, the staff left the phone off the hook for an hour and I had to drive 20 mins to order in person. After starting the family order, I was told they were out of tofu and edamame. What kind of poke place runs out of tofu and edamame on a Monday night more than an hour before closing?! Birthday dinner ruined for a second night, we are committed to finding another poke restaurant from now on. Way to lose a loyal customer, Poke Dojo.

My new favorite poke place in the DC area. Decent pricing, generously sized protein scoops (I got the small bowl and it was perfect), and actually spicy spicy Mayo. I did a make your own bowl but would love to come back and try one of the signature bowls.

Excited that Bethesda now has a poke option! The bowls are a bit expensive, but I guess it's Bethesda. I made the mistake of getting one of their signature bowls and it was way too over-the-top for me. Too many different kinds of fish and too much food. The second time, I did the build-your-own option and it was much better. I always do the small (two scoops of protein) because even that is pretty big. I love the marinated tuna or the regular tuna - both are really good quality and tasty. FYI - everything is included except there are add-on prices for the avocado and masago (fish eggs). Base Options They have white, sushi and brown rice and spring mix. Nothing too exciting, but they're good. I usually go with the brown rice - it's really yummy. Service: Friendly service - they're patient with you as you ask questions about toppings, yet move things right along so there isn't a long wait. Final Verdict: This is a solid poke bowl, which is awesome especially in this hot weather. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm craving tuna.

hands down one of the best poke restaurants in bethesda! it's mine and husbands go to spot when we're craving a poke bowl. the service is always excellent, the staff is always pleasant. we both love the overall ambiance of the place is lovely and that's why by we continue to go back

A wonderful little poke bowl fast casual spot located in the heart of upper middle class shopping. They're still in soft opening but everything (food, service, restaurant cleanliness) was top notch. Staff is friendly and answers questions haha! They know so many people just stop in to look at the menu and leave, including me! The two times I actually got food was amazing, the small bowl (2 proteins, 10.99) was filled wonderfully with the unlimited toppings and looked great with the sauces and sesame seeds. A perfect and healthy meal for those wanting something light and fresh. All the raw veggies were so colorful and health :)) Table tops, food counter, floors and ESPECIALLY bathrooms were clean and pleasant to be in/around. They have two single bathrooms (better than most small asian food places with only one). I am definitely getting more bowls when I'm in the area

11/10 - highly recommend! I have ordered from Poke Dojo several times now and have always been satisfied. In fact, poke from here is the only poke my boyfriend and I order in the DMV area. We like to customize our bowls especially since there's such a big variety of options you can choose from. The fish is always fresh and they are very generous with the portions. We live in DC and it's definitely worth the trip to come here! Thank you for feeding my tummy with delicious and fresh poke each time :)
