Google
Poke is oversaturated in vegas but take it from someone who was born and raised in hawaii for 17 years when I say, this is the best poke spot in vegas. Literally everything is quality and brings me back to the shores of oahu.

Elliot Yoon

Google
Truly exceptional service and poke! The staff was very friendly and allowed us to try samples to make sure we liked the poke options before we bought them. Pricing was very fair and everything was delicious! We got a delicious poke lunch for 2 for under $25! Truly a gem.

Jonathan Chan

Google
The poke was excellent. Fresh and very reasonably priced. Big variety and choices. It's just a take out place.... and it's will worth it to order and take home the items to enjoy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd would most definitely go back when I'm in the area and want poke.

Lisa Martin

Google
Went there today and want to send a big mahalo to everyone there. The staff was friendly patient and did a awesome job. The poke is excellent but I also bought kimchee and rice. Alot of Aloha served here . Mahalo plenty!!

Nate Morin

Google
This place has the best poke I’ve had since visiting Hawaii. As fresh as it gets, and super flavorful, including the rice. Prices are some of the best in town and there is plenty of parking at both locations. The staff are also very friendly, I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Vegas!

CALG RN

Google
I would say this is legit the best poke place! I can't wait to come back again. We've tried their 1/2lbs spicy combo Ahi ($9.12), 1/2lbs. Salmon poke with Spice sauce ($7.63) and 1/2lbs. ofKim Chi mussel poke ($3.60)!!! Everything is so delicious and highly recommended.. fresh. We will surely comeback again to try more. Must visit!

Google
Always get ALOHA inside Poke Express🤙🏽 Even when you need a mix without salt (Shoyu and Onion Poke) they'll mix it up while you wait. Awesome location, great friendly store with so much ALOHA, and of course the poke is Top Notch🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Tina Thomson

Google
Love this place. Been here many many times and the food is always consistently good and fresh. Kimchi taku ( octopus) is my favorite and I always get it but this time not only did I get the taku I got the kimchi snail and that was surprisingly delicious. Firm texture and great flavor. Check them out.

Yelp
My favorite poke place! They have 3 locations but this is the original. It's so easy to order, they have a menu on the counter and you let them know what you'd like. and they will make it fresh in the back. They have lots of different options and you can also order rice on the side. But everything here is soooo good and fresh! It's a small little store and can get crowded but moves fast. You can get points (that equal a discount at a certain amount of points) every time you purchase just put your phone number at checkout!

Danni G.

Yelp
Love the fact you can order by the pound. Love how fresh it is Love you can try so many different things off the menu, and so far it has not disappointed

Theresa P.

Yelp
Very small shop that serves up a lot of different types of poke and some Hawaiian foods and drinks. If something isn't currently made all you have to do is ask and they will immediately make it for you. The poke itself is always fresh and delicious and you can order rice to go with it. The staff has to move fast in order to keep up with the demand of customers. The line can get long but they are very friendly and work hard. I love to make my own taco shells out of wonton wrappers and fill them up with the poke from here. I would definitely recommend!

Christy L.

Yelp
Poke Express is a small grab and go poke restaurant in North Las Vegas serving up some of the most authentic Hawaiian poke in the valley. The fish quality is amazing as with the rest of their ingredients. There is no seating so it's definitely designed to take home, eat in your car, or at the park etc. You can choose from a variety of around 10 poke flavors plus a handful of other complementary options like seaweed salad, crab salad, tako salad, etc. They also offer rice and various sauces on the side. You really can't go wrong with any choice you make here but my favorite is the Pau Hana Ahi, one of their specialties that is a combination of ahi poke and crab salad. This one is super flavorful and so delicious! I also really love the Garlic Tako but it's just a little too spicy for me. If you're looking for some authentic Hawaiian poke, be sure to check out Poke Express - you won't be disappointed! :)

May E.

Yelp
Poke Express is a cute little shop but has all the poke options you could ask for and more! They offer different poke, sashimi, maki sushi (on Saturdays), poke nachos, etc. I got the spicy avocado poke, blue fin tuna sashimi, and hamachi sashimi with a scoop of rice. Everything was so fresh and super flavorful! I like the short grain rice that they use also :) The service is very quick even if there's a long line since most items are already made. The employees are very friendly about samples also, so try it before you buy! While waiting in line, on the right side they have a few pantry staples and canned Hawaiian drinks you can buy too.

Hannah J.

Yelp
Forgot to take pictures of the food but this poke place is really good! And very affordable. The rice portion is huge and they top it off with furikake generously. Fish is fresh and flavorful. We got the spicy mayo salmon, ahi tuna and seaweed for some crunch which was very filling. Service was fast, servers were friendly. There is no seating inside because they only do take-out. They also sell a few Hawaiian grocery items. Definitely try out this place if you're in the area!

Yelp
Yelp Review 2023 #213: The last time I did a review for Poke Express has been over 10 years ago and nothing has changed about my opinion. I gave them 5 stars then and I'm still giving them 5 stars now. They've been consistently excelling in providing the freshest and highest quality fish and seafood in the valley. Many "poke" spots have popped up like mushrooms from Henderson to North Las Vegas and everything in between. Anyone from the Aloha State would tell you none of the poke or sushi burrito/ poke bowl spots aren't real poke because those raw fish variations aren't available in Hawaii. Traditionally, poke is marinated cubes of fish that can be eaten with rice. In the mainland, it's kind of like that but with more sauces and toppings. It's all a matter of preference and honestly, I'm equal opportunity fresh fish eater. I've held my "duchess" status for this place for 10 years since I come here at least every month. I keep coming back to Poke Express for a number of reasons: it's less than 10 miles away from my house (I pass 2 poke bowl places along the way); they have the freshest fish (I've never had bad fish from here); variety (they have discerner kinds of fish and seafood marinated in different sauces, sides, and they've added rice and sashimi on their menu a few years ago); reasonable pricing (based on weight); the best service (even when the line is super long, they don't lose their smile, warmth and friendliness. They talk to you like you're the only person in the room); their food is simply delicious! My favorites: Ahi Limu Spicy Mayo Salmon Spicy Mayo Ahi Tuna Sashimi Rainbow Poke Aside from poke, they have Hawaiian snacks and drinks you can purchase. The space is small so, it's always been a takeout spot. The place is clean and doesn't smell fishy at all. I hope they stick around forever. I'm looking forward to my next review of Poke Express 10 years from now. If I haven't convinced you why you need to come here, just look at their near thousand of glowing reviews!

Elijah E.

Yelp
Poke express is my go to spot here in Las Vegas for poke. It's the closest thing to what you get in Hawaii. The service is always good and the workers are so nice! It's a small little shop with everything you could want in a poke spot. It has a great vibe in there. They also let you try some samples before you purchase. My favorite thing there is the spicy masago ahi. I could eat 2lbs by myself soooo good. I'll always be coming here!!

Scott O.

Yelp
Great place. 1st stop when visiting from Cali. All locations are on point! Friendly crew .

Peggy C.

Yelp
My favorite spot in Las Vegas to grab poke! They serve top grade quality and fresh poke every day! Come by and try it for yourself. You will not regret it.

La Toya L.

Yelp
I'm a lover of poke and sushi. Poke Express did not disappoint. They had an array of different poke and they even allow you to sample it before purchasing. They also have excellent customer service with people who are engaged with you and the food they serve.

Ben M.

Yelp
First of all, if you hit this place at lunch time it is not express at all, the line is going to be long and the place is packed. That actually answered my first question, do the turn over enough product? I don't trust poke if it's not super fresh, more customers definitely means it's fresh! This place has been in business for 12+ years. If you're looking for a poke bowl with rice, cucumber, seaweed salad and all that other delicious stuff, this isn't the spot. What you will find is fresh poke at market rate. It's delicious. This is the closest thing I've found to a truly Hawaiian poke experience. Grab a 1/4 lb and head for the beach! Thank you poke express! I've found my favorite poke spot in Las Vegas.

Daniel A.

Yelp
***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** This place was the first one open and it's still good. They have all the poke you can think of. His cucumber kimchi is onolicious! I always come here and get that with my Taegu and kimchi tako poke. I switch around different kinds of poke, but as usual...I gotta have my shoyu poke, limu poke and Hawaiian style poke from time to time. They have a few other things in the store like frozen island food, drinks and some snacks.

Renee R.

Yelp
Excellent poke. Full stop. Staff was friendly and welcoming, poke was fresh. I'm mad I don't live here to enjoy this more often.

Sergio P.

Yelp
If you haven't made your way over to Poke Express you definitely should. They don't have a dine in area so we took it home. Wasn't to sure on how to order everything and the staff wasn't really helpful at all either. But the food was really good. I ordered two different types of poke and they were both super good. They have plenty of options. The spicy ahi combo was my favorite of the two. It has a perfect kick of spice towards the end and paired perfectly with the white rice.

Audry P.

Yelp
Excellent service, delicious food, casual ambiance. Order for pick up, or take it to go! This place is THE place to get fresh and delicious poké. This place offers more than a dozen different types of poké so there's sure to be a flavor profile you'll like. They also offer poké bowls if you're looking for something more filling. You also have the ability to choose from an assortment of Hawaiian soadas, spices, kimchi, ice cream, etc... from their mini- store shelves.

Emily J.

Yelp
I always come here when passing thru Vegas and it NEVER disappoints. I always get the same type of poke. Salmon, scallops, and limu or garlic tako my 3 fav seafood protein. If they had uni it would be my #1 but uni is not common in poke. I saw on the wall they occasionally have OPIHI!!!! Say what!???? That's so rare! Wish there was a place in LA that sells opihi. It's such a hard shell to get and people can get injured or die getting it so that's why it's so hard to obtain. The kind lady worker said if you want opihi just give them your number and they will call you when it comes in. It gets pretty crowded but the service is always courteous and they are doing the best they can refilling everything. There is plenty of parking and no restrooms for customers so be mindful of that. Hope they remain open forever cuz it's hard to find poke done the right way on the mainland. I don't know why that is but I would attribute that to local ingredients not often found like kukui nut or lack of genuine poke chefs!

Melanie H.

Yelp
I couldn't wait to revisit this place on our visit to Vegas after being away for a while. Man! Poke Express NEVER disappoints. The poke is the freshest you will ever get. I've never been so close to closing time. They actually make everything to order. I mean how much fresher can you get? I was a bit confused when I saw everyone ordering from a menu. The person at the counter explained that when it gets closer to closing they make it to order so nothing wastes. Nothing has changed with how friendly the staff is either. All smiles and so friendly! The only thing that changed was how long the line was lol. I'm so glad that more people have discovered how much of a gem this place is.

Nica L.

Yelp
The fish isn't fresh-- it's frozen but what can anyone expect in the desert? The flavors here reminds me of home. Authentic Hawaii tastes so expect island style poke if you go here! Service was good, the girl who helped us at the counter was nice & seemed like she came from or lived in Hawaii before as well. There is nowhere to sit here, it's just a counter set up like a service deli so be prepared to grind in your car or somewhere else. Also they don't offer poke bowls just containers that are weighed. They sell rice by the scoop if you want some starch on the side. They also have poi BUT Poi here costs $20 for 1 small container of Hanalei so you better be willing to fork out $40+ for 1/2 lb poke and poi! I had the shoyu poke (good) and the hamachi sashimi, my group had spicy ahi, furikake ahi, Limu ahi, and kim chee tasting ahi (i dont remember what flavor it was lol) i tried a piece of all of them (best one imo was the limu ahi) but yeah it was good. Worth the drive out!

Vanessa T.

Yelp
WOW. My coworkers absolutely rave about this place, and I finally gave it a shot. I should have given this a shot two years ago when I'd first moved to Vegas! I was nervous to try poke, and ordering felt a little intimidating. You can order by the pound or with a side of rice as a meal. I ordered 1/4lb of Spicy Ahi with Mayo and 1/4lb of crab salad. Both were DELISH and enough to fill me up! I also grabbed a jar of kimchi, for a pretty fair price, from their fridge. It's no wonder this place is so popular! It's freakin fantastic. I will be back to explore their menu some more.

Alex D.

Yelp
The Poke is always amazing every time I order from here. Even if its not available im the glass counter let them know, theyll make some in the back. Service is always fast and friendly! Spicy Avocado Ahi and Furikake Ahi what i highly recommend, especially over rice. Seasonings are always on point.

Danica Joy I.

Yelp
I can't believe I've never been here in person! My friend would always do take out & I would just place my order with her's. Because I was on this side of town & I remembered the food being bomb, why not go in person?! Ordering in person, experiencing the hospitality, AND eating the food fresh, was EVERYTHING. Everyone was so kind & explained the different container sizes for poke, what poke selection is popular, & asked if we wanted to try samples of anything I wanted to eat everything, but went with their recommendations of the furikake ahi & spicy Mayo. I've never had good marinated crab around vegas so I wanted to try theirs. 10/10 would recommend everything. Man did this really bring me back to Hawaii. Furikake ahi: sweet & savory. The husband's favorite! Spicy Mayo: a little heavier on the Mayo than what I'm used too, but man it was still so good. It had a nice kick that I was expecting Marinated crab: so deliciously seasoned & soaked in that perfect marinade. It was also sweet! We ordered rice on the side & topped it with furikake. The warmth of the rice went well with the poke. Nothing tasted frozen & there wasn't fishy flavor. They put out good quality stuff! I wish i lived closer. I would be here weekly!

Treshia M.

Yelp
I think that this might be my most favorite place to get poke, if you're ever around on this side of town this is THE poke spot to try. It's all worth it! I heard about this place so I finally decided to try it. When walking in, it looks like a mini convinent store. They sell lots of local Hawaiian items that I remember seeing there. I notice that this place gets busy so easily, so there was quite a line when I first went. While in line you can grab any snacks and the big giant glass is where you order your poke. thought it was like a restaurant but it's more like when you buy fish or meat at a market. This place, you order poke by the pound. They offer not just salmon and tuna but also mussel, tako (octopus), and shrimp. They do also offer poke bowls, in the original style of just rice and fish no toppings because the mixture of the fish is enough. Alot of the things are directly from Hawaii and are made in house. I know that they make some fresh poi, there was 4 bags at the counter and it was gone by the time I was at the front. The vibe of the store really makes you feel like you're in a convient store in Hawaii. Overall, I think that this place has one of the FRESHEST poke in Las Vegas and I have returned here twice already and want to go again. Definitely have told some friends who love poke to visit this place.

Joshua B.

Yelp
been coming here since I moved to Vegas in 2015 and still do come here. Very friendly family owned business. Highly recommend the kimchee raw crab, so addicting especially if you have the munchies . You'll regret getting a small container, ask them to put whatever fits in their big container

madison p.

Yelp
Wow.. have not had poke this quality in Vegas EVER. I'm used to going to Sweet Poke and paying $25 for a bowl with some fixings, but since I've tried this place, I haven't looked back! The Pau Hana Special & Spicy Lava Flow are definitely my favorites. I usually find myself needing ginger to cover the ocean taste in most poke but I never need ginger here. Now onto the staff: they are amazing. Super duper fast, especially during a rush. They let you sample pretty much everything and they're always pretty nice. Overall a great place to visit for poke!

Mileydis P.

Yelp
Our favorite locally owned poke place! Staff is amazing and food is mouthwatering! Its sucks they close so early but its a family owned business so its definitely understandable. Place is always clean and great music! Love that you can grab some groceries favorites like the furikake, always great prices!

Rose C.

Yelp
People here are always kind and friendly * Poké and Rice is good * I was happy that they sold Mochiko Flour and bought some.

Janice M.

Yelp
POKE: Another hidden gem! I wouldn't have found this place if my local friend didn't tell me about it! So many poke and seafood selections. You can build your own combo box with your choice of rice amount and top of furikake. Or you can buy poke by the weight. The poke is SO FRESH and tastes amazing. Don't forget to check out all the other snacks, drinks, and condiments in the store as well. SERVICE: The staff are so kind, they are patient with you when you are deciding on what to get but efficient enough to get you towards check out. AMBIANCE: No indoor or outdoor dining. Grab and go. PARKING: Lot parking

Tony O.

Yelp
Best poke in Northeast Vegas! Great service and great selection. Fish is always fresh and the lunch dish's are a must.

Lloyd C.

Yelp
Whenever I am Las Vegas, I make it a point to get some poke here. Why? Because it's the next best thing getting it from here than Oahu, Hawaii. The flavors are like being back in Hawaii. Service: Friendly, relaxed, casual. Food: Salmon Poke with special sauce, Shoyu Ahi, Hawaiian Ahi, Limu Ahi, Spicy Ahi Poke with Mayo-Masago, Tako Poke with Limu, Kim Chee Raw Crab, etc... You can't go wrong with any of them! So ono!

Chayna C.

Yelp
I am from Hawaii, so this place is the closest it can get to authentic Hawaiian poke & we love it. The service has always been great & we've gotten soo many of their different poke's here. It can be a bit pricey when you buy by the pound, but we think it's worth it. Will always be willing to make the drive here, as we are a bit a way from it!

Catalina J.

Yelp
Been coming here for years, no other place in town I would go to for poke. Their flavoring is always spot on and they have many different style poke to choose from. The customer service is always exceptional! We came close to closing and hoped they would still be open and they were kind enough to accommodate us and even make more poke in the back of what we wanted. If youre looking for poke in Vegas this is the spot to go, hands down!

Gillian S.

Yelp
One of my favourite places to eat been there several times very clean staff very friendly.

Domonique S.

Yelp
Yummy! This place felt like I was in Hawaii again. There's no seating inside, and the line was a little long when we went there on a Sunday afternoon. However, the line went by decently fast. We were in and out within 15-20 minutes. We got the furikake poke, spicy avocado poke, and kimchi raw crab. I highly recommend the furikake. It was salty, saucy, and great all around. Tasted like a mix between hoisin and sesame oil, which was so so good. The spicy avocado was alright. The sauce tasted like sweet chili and came with avocado bits. The kimchi raw crab was a little too salty, but the flavor was awesome. I think pairing it with rice would dilute the saltiness for next time. I would get this and the furikake next time I'm in Vegas!

David N.

Yelp
Anytime I am within 5 miles of Poke Express, I'm stopping in! This trip I was prepared and brought a cooler! Spicy Combo Ahi w/mayo Furikake Ahi Kim Chee Tako Kim Chee cucumbers (not out front, but ask Auntie) Kohala Kim Chee from Honolulu And, Redondo's, Hawaii's Favorite Hot Dogs! Gonna make Hot Dog Chili Spaghetti this weekend! No too long of a line at 12:00pm on a getaway Labor Day Weekend!

Jay T.

Yelp
The food is always fresh and the services is always with a smile. Nothing more needs to be said here, as that one sentence says it all.

Angelica B.

Yelp
Definitely like stepping into a local Hawaiian market. I'm not used to ordering poke by the pound but the cashier was super helpful. The plate I got was definitely filling. The only reason I took off a star was due to the long wait time when there were only 3 people ordering. Other than that, it's a great place to pick up authentic poke and eat wherever you'd like.

Doon P.

Yelp
Tiny Poke place located in North Las Vegas. To-go only. Fish is super fresh, I've bee here for more than 10 times and not a single time that fish isn't fresh. Price is also great. If you've had Poke on the Island, this is the only place in Las Vegas that tastes like authentic Hawaiian Poke.

Becky L.

Yelp
Everything is fresh, and the customer service is exemplary! If they were in a bigger spot, they could add seating, but this place is pick and go only. Still, very, very good!

Tommy R.

Yelp
Da real deal poke king in Vegas. Just like on the aina. Market style. Visited on my recent trip and was doing the food dance with every bite.

Joe R.

Yelp
Very good poke. Customer service is great. Everyone is so nice. Small place, no seating, you just get it and go

Mia M.

Yelp
The poke was so fresh. Everything was well seasoned to perfection. Nothing too salty or overpowering. My absolute favorite!! The workers were happy and friendly. I can not wait to go back. We'll make a stop here everytime I go to vegas. Highly recommend!!

Michelle M.

Yelp
I can't believe I lived so close to this place and barely had their food!! It's a small place in a shopping plaza but it's actually easy to find! You can order different types of poke and only in the amount you want! I ordered the spicy avocado ahi and oh man, it was so good!! You can order rice on the side and that was yummy, too! The service was great, she was patient and helpful since it was my first time visiting. I am already planning another trip to get some more yummy food!

Traci C.

Yelp
Great poke and really good prices. Very authentic to Hawai'i poke. Rice is cheap too.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
This poke spot is now at the top of my list for poke in Vegas!! Reasonable pricing and great selection! All of the ladies who helped me were friendly and answered all of my questions. You are allowed to sample the different poke which is great! I ordered two scoops of rice with furikake as a side dish. It is 75 cents a scoop. They make their own fresh furikake here! It's not a dried mix and it tastes soooo good! The poke you can order by the pound, half pound, or quarter pound. I got the crab combo with avocado and cucumber, pauhana special (which is their most popular), and spicy lava flow. All are delicious! Only problem is that they all were very salty. Maybe it was how they made it that day but I'm definitely going to go back and try them again!

Amanda F.

Yelp
There is no place better. They have the best Poke and are super accommodating. I love this place and get it frequently. The fish is always fresh. Some days they have Poi and it's delicious! If you haven't eaten here what are you doing?

Rebecca C.

Yelp
This is now one of my favorite places to get fresh and fun poke around town! I love the availability of different options they have and the price points are very good for the quality. It's located in a strip mall so it is very easy to miss, but it well worth to go out of your way to get food! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to try a few things before we decided on what we wanted for food. They have drink options available as well.

Jamia W.

Yelp
Amazing as always! Great customer service and amazing food. My family adore this location and all the options it offers.

P M.

Yelp
These guys know how to execute frozen fish in to the best poke in the desert. They do have fresh caught fish (poke) once in a while but I'd suggest you not get that one and the previously frozen kine, you will notice the difference and that can affect how much you enjoy the lesser priced, totally delicious, previously frozen poke. Don't forget to grab some goodies from the freezer and shelves as you move through the line to order your poke, and put your phone number in to earn points!

Lanie M.

Yelp
The best in Las Vegas ...... I give them 10 stars the best of the best of the best...... I recommended to all my friends and family when coming out of state......
