This establishment exudes warmth, welcome, and cleanliness. The cuisine is exceptional, and the service is impeccable. Come and indulge in the delectable offerings.

Google
great portions, great flavors! fish is fatty and rich and the ingredients taste fresh! i come here on my lunch break to do some work bc of the free wifi. staff is also very kind

SK

Google
Highly recommend! Food is prepared to perfection! You can taste the love in the food when you eat it! I ordered shrimp tempura poke bowl and spicy shrimp and tofu, hibachi with fried rice.

luna

Google
Seafood ramen was good. But the takoyaki was DELICIOUS! Fresh, hot, full of flavor, and reasonably priced. Update: tried one of their poke bowls. Presentation and taste were incredible!! I can’t wait to go back yet again

Aman U.

Google
Best poke spot in the area! They are fair with portions and do not charge for seaweed salad and crab salad unlike other places ! Overall great poke , have not tried other items on the menu

Jade D.

Google
Food was tasty and price was very reasonable! Did the crunchy bowl (not raw) and build a sushi burrito. The style of the restaurant is like chipotle. You go up to order then sit yourself. There are also other food that I'm looking forward to try. So a definite return!

Kamilla O.

Google
Their hibachi is so delicious, best fried rice ever. Their fried calamari is so good too!

Dom

Google
I had this place several months ago but forgot to make a review. I went just for the seafood boil and was pleased. I mainly wanted crab so I did Build Your Own with garlic butter. I think the price was reasonable, the sauce was good and everything tasted fresh. There was a bit of a wait, but I felt it was only long enough for them to make/heat my meal at the time of my order. The food did not taste like it had just been sitting all day. My only complaint is the menu doesn't indicate the potatoes are red skin. I would've ordered more because they are small.

Yelp
I returned after talking to them and the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious as always! They thanked me for pointing out the deficiencies and gladly corrected them. I do recommend this establishment!

Yelp
I can attest that it is not an easy task finding very good poke. There are so many pretenders in the space. I've had more than my fair share of mediocre poke bowls, but this is not that story. Poke Fish is simply superb. Technically speaking, this is as good as a bowl gets. Perfectly cooked sushi rice meets deliciously marinated fish! Let's not forget to Mention that the veggies have are bright and still crispy. Everything is fresh fresh fresh. Never would I imagine I'd be walking into a hidden poke gem in Sterling Heights Michigan of all places. Not only is this top 3 poke bowls I've had anywhere, but it's also the lowest price point of any. Poke Fish is an absolute must if you consider yourself a poke lover!

Yelp
Reviewing on behalf of my wife. I'm not a seafood person so this place doesn't do much for me. My wife on the other had absolutely loves it. According to her, this is the closest she's found to the poke bowls she enjoys on our trips to Hawaii. The bowls are built with your choice of ingredients. Start with a base of rice, add your protein, veggies and toppings. She says everything is fresh and quite tasty.

Yelp
I have to get the rainbow bowl every time I've watched constant flow of people getting an assortment of different dishes. Place is plenty and will seat quite a large crowd.

Greg G.

Yelp
This meal was fantastic!!! Very healthy and yet so delicious. I had the Volcano bowl and it had just the right amount of heat. Also had spicy crab salad. I will definitely be going back

Yelp
Get take out/ear in several times a week. The food is fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced. Love this place

Yelp
If you haven't already been, go here immediately! The food is amazing, the service is quick, the price is unbeatable! I've been here a number of times over the past few years and it's never let me down. I always get a poke bowl to go, it's always delicious. Their prices are significantly better than other spots I've frequented and I love that they don't up-charge for random things like other Poke places will. The restaurant ambiance is well-suited for the kind of walk-in, order, and stay if you'd like place that it is. I haven't tried much else of their menu besides the build your own Poke bowl since it's just so good! I cannot recommend this place enough- it's popular amongst locals for a reason!

Yelp
I was starving during a busy day today. Stopped at Poke Fish to pick up a carryout. They have lots of indoor seating, but I chose to bring mine home. The ordering process reminds me of Subway, but for poke bowls. I ordered the volcano bowl with the sauce on the side, and a miso soup. Both were fantastic! Everything tasted so fresh, & the miso soup had a ton of flavor. They have other options besides poke bowls (see menu photos). I was able to walk in, look at the menu, order, I have my food made, and pay in about 3 minutes! It literally takes longer in most fast food drive-thrus.

Yelp
Some reviews are much easier to write than others. I will say that everything here was good. It was missing the mark for great so three stars. I will say the service was excellent and recommend some of the basic poke bowls over anything too fancy if you're not used to this kind of food

Erica D.

Yelp
Hidden gem! We love love this place. Their poke bowls are delicious and a good size. Also, the best ramen around. A must try!
google avatar

Yelp
I am so thankful that they're still on business even pandemic hit the whole wide world. The service is good and they remember us as a customer and we always go back to this restaurant. Now I am craving for their sushi burrito. I will recommend this restaurant. My daughter love the noodles and now I got a boy, he loves it too. We will come and Dina in again.

Randi M.

Yelp
This place is amazing i've been there hundreds of times and every single time the quality was great i get hibachi extra chicken and white rice i haven't tried anything else on there because the hibachi is just too good i would most definitely recommend you guys to try it.

Yelp
The food seemed fresh, and the staff was very amenable to my requests and needs. While the Hawaiian poke bowl was yummy with its ingredients, a little teriyaki made it delicious!

Shapey

Yelp
I really enjoyed the seafood boil, sushi burritos, ramen, and the bowls. The bowls and burritos were a unique mix of different proteins, carbs, and vegetables. The seafood boil was a spicy mix of the crab, corn, mussels, and the shrimps. The ramen was a little bit salty but amazing. The service was amazing because they were nice and had little problems with people.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Best poke I have ever had. Food is fresh every time. Staff members are friendly and service is fast. Will continue coming back.

Anonymous H.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The staff are ALWAYS kind to me and sometimes they know customers orders by heart and make it such a personable experience. the poke bowls are a 100/5 because they are so yummy!!! It is usually always quiet if you sit down to eat so that is nice. I really really really wish I could give Poke Fish a better rating than 5/5

Yelp
I called and placed an order over the phone, which I realized after going inside wasn't necessary! My food was finished VERY quickly, the inside of the restaurant was HUGE and clean, and I was helped by a friendly employee! This bowl was SO good! I wasn't expecting there to be so much flavor, but it was absolutely scrumptious! The calamari was good and came with yum yum, but I don't think I would get it again only because it was kinda chewy and hard to bite!
google avatar

Casey S.

Yelp
Went for the first time today and food was incredible! Fresh ingredients and the best flavor! Will certainly be back. I did the make your own bowl and my husband did one of the signature bowls! Delicious!!

Ken L.

Yelp
Great food Love the Poke bowls , and all of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the staff isn't very friendly

Deb R.

Yelp
By far the best poke in the area. Great friendly service too. Their price point is very reasonable for quality seafood.
google avatar

Daniella L.

Yelp
This place was okay, I really didn't enjoy my poke bowl. I felt like the additional sides were a little too non-fresh and were lacking in flavor. Maybe, I should have gotten more sauce on the poke bowl. Personally, I have had better and this place did not live up to my expectations. Would I try this place again? Yes, I would like to try something different to give it another chance. Would I recommend it to a family or friend? I couldn't just yet. I would need to try may other items on the menu.

Yelp
During my last trip to Las Vegas, we had some amazing dumplings. Since then, our dumpling craving has been insatiable and have been on a mission to find some bomb a** dumplings in our area ever since. DING DING DING, found some! I discovered Poke Fish via Yelp looking to find a place to satisfy my craving. Also, I have been wanting to find a place that offers Takoyaki. I keep seeing so many people on youtube trying them out and it peaked my interest. SO, this place has the two things I have been looking for and of course a trip had to be made. I did my research on the menu and food and somehow missed that this is a fast casual type place. However, even better in my book. I ordered Takoyaki, Shrimp Shumai and an order of Pork Gyoza. The shrimp shumai, was good. I wouldn't say the best I have had, but it seems a bit hard to find this at many places. It came with 6 pieces. The pork dumplings were great! Perfectly boiled and then fried. I don't like my pork gyoza over fried, so these were literally everything I could want, not to mention busting with flavor. Lastly, the Takoyaki...to preface-, if you aren't into seeing the octopus suckers on tentacles, this is not for you. These little fried balls are AMAZING. They are filled with some type of yummy paste and pieces of octopus. It comes with a dipping sauce, not sure what kind? Every bit of this dish is exceptional and full of flavor. Even the octopus is a little burst of flavor on its own. This is one of my new favorite items and I can't wait to get more. There is plenty of seating. This place is large on the inside. ( I think it used to be an old Bagger Daves) I am looking forward to going back. They offer sushi burritos, which look much better than one I have tried before elsewhere in the past, ramen, sushi bowls, hibachi bowls, etc. and you can decide what type of items you want added. Thank you for showing me the Takoyaki way and what I have been missing all along. *happy cry*

Yelp
Fresh, delicious and fast! I had a shrimp poke bowl and will be back to try the tuna. I liked that I could make my own bowl with lots of options for toppings and sauces.

Paul M.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. I highly recommend the rainbow bowl which has very fresh fish and tasty items. The service is great. Everyone is friendly. The ambiance is cool, typically quiet inside.

Michael H.

Yelp
This place has the best poke I've found in Detroit hands down, service is always fast and great too!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of poke bowl so I've been wanting to try this place out. I looked on their website and ordered through there. They have an extensive menu from poke bowl to crab boil. My husband and I both ordered the build your own bowl and takoyaki. It was pretty filing as my husband couldn't finish his entire bowl and I barely finished it. They let you select from a huge list of ingredients so it's easy to custom. I also had the wasabi aioli on the side which has a nice kick. Overall, the food was delicious and at a good price. I will definitely return.

Yelp
What can I say about poke fish yummmmm yummmmm yummmmm yummmmmmm lol I loved it good food good service keep it up
google avatar

Suraja I.

Yelp
I order from here more often than I'd like to admit but I always go for a bowl of miso and their Rainbow Bowl. The food is always fresh and great and I've never had a bad experience here. They're quick with their service and the few times I've dined it, it never seemed too busy which is nice among the chaos of Hall Road. Definitely recommend to anyone to try it out!

Yelp
Stopped by while in the area & was very suprise how good the poke was. Pricing seems about normal with other places. I made my own bowl with flavor tuna & salmon. Both were well flavored. You also have a ton of options to add ontop & sauce at the end. I would recommend just getting their poke sauce because it's pretty good. My partner got a burrito & said he wish it was thicker, but I think if you added more ingredients it'll be bigger. I saw they also have a seafood boil, didn't get to try but def will try next time I'm in the area.

Ricky G.

Yelp
I ended up building my own bowl. White rice, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, edamame, corn, mango, cilantro, spring mix lettuce, crisp onions, tempura flakes, spicy mayo, & siriacha sauce. I found it to be amazing for Michigan. I find it hard to issue 5 stars to any seafood in Michigan because the quality isn't as fresh. I'm sorry I'm snobby but I spent 1/3 of my life in Florida getting my seafood off a boat fresh daily and it's not the same when it's not as fresh or as good as the areas I traveled where seafood is a rod and reel or a net away. There's nothing wrong with the food here and I highly recommend it. I wish they had a few more sauce options like garlic aioli and other aiolis & avocado but it won't stop me from coming back. Next trip I think I'll try a seafood bowl and give it a whirl. Again this is Michigan and this is good as you're gonna get here with fresh seafood.

Yelp
I ordered GrubHub from them after they appeared on the menu for "asian" near me. Overall, I can't complain. The food was a bit cold when it arrived, but overall, pretty good. I'd definitely try them in person.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place... especially since we love another place that is the same concept, but doesn't even compete with other places like this. We came in on a Monday, at noon. There was one other person within the establishment. Which either means the lunch hasn't started or.. they don't get a lunch rush. We both did a create your own poke bowl. Brown rice, scallops, shrimp, a few vegetables, and eel sauce. Pretty simple, but, unlike the other place I was referring to- they just put the fixings on top and put the topping on. You have to mix it all in yourself. Another thing that kind of bothered me besides the seafood being very cold and rubbery.. the seafood wasn't warmed up just a little bit. It seemed like they just took it out of the fridge. To each their own. I know I have given it 2 stars based on my first visit. I would and probably will soon, give them another chance and be very specific on how I want my bowl. Or maybe I ordered the wrong bowl? Who knows. But, I'll try one more time just to ensure I've given them a fair shot. Also- check in on Yelp and get a free appetizer, that's either edamame or shrimp(dumplings).

Yelp
Was happy to find this new place open when I was out shopping the other day, so I stopped in for a late lunch. The decor is very nice inside, very unexpected for a modest storefront in a strip mall. I was the only patron at 4pm on a Monday and had the place to myself. Very friendly staff, too. You can make your own poke bowl or burrito here by choosing the items you want, or you can choose one of their menu options - I had the Volcano Bowl (see photo), and it was excellent. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Lots of flavor! Prices here are very reasonable here, too. If you're in the area, this is a worthwhile stop for lunch or dinner. I'll definitely return!
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I use to go to the one in Ann Arbor but now he lives in Shelby Township; we were glad to find another Poke Fish near by. We order takeout here at least once a month. We've tried the pork ramen which was delicious but we're usually here for the poke. Price is reasonable. You get so much for what you pay for! Food always tastes fresh. Clean in the inside. Tons of parking space.
google avatar

Brandon G.

Yelp
Normaly, I woul be praising and supporting small places but this was an overpriced mess for a really small meal... Personally, I would NOT recommend the place due to their smaller "portions" on poke bowls Low quality, blabd and tasteless
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Their shrimp tempura is very good! They are big and tasty. Their hibachi dishes are very delicious, with choice of steak, salmon, and shrimp.

Dana S.

Yelp
Found this place by accident but it won't be our last visit. We tried the beef ramen bowl & the chicken ramen bowl spicy. Both were huge servings and very good. Staff was very nice.
google avatar

M P.

Yelp
First time. My idea at a restaurant! Deconstructed sushi... Basically all of the elements of sushi just not wrapped into a roll. Sure saves time when you're making a meal at home. Don't know how well this will sustain as a restaurant idea over time. Food was good
google avatar

Suzie M.

Yelp
Both our ramen bowls were outstanding. Hubby had seafood ramen and it was loaded with shrimp, scallops, squid, crab and more for only $15. Broth delicious. I had pork ramen spicy $13. Super yummy with a little fish cake, boiled egg, veggies and lots of pork. Noodles were great. We ate in their dining room. I'm already planning on bringing a group of 10-12.
google avatar

Claire B.

Yelp
If you desire the experience of a lifetime come to Poke Fish and your mouth will indulge on a taste adventure like no other. With great food and service this is a place you won't regret spending you time. I would add a picture but there is nothing left to take a picture o.
google avatar

Mary Z.

Yelp
Poke bowls are my favorite go to for a light yet fulfilling meal. Great topping choices that are fresh and reasonable protein portions. Wouldn't recommend anything else from here other than their poke. My SO got steak hibachi and it was real disappointing/sad looking but the poke bowls do not disappoint. Did get some attitude/impatience from the person taking our order so that's why 3 stars, otherwise 4/5.
google avatar

Carly L.

Yelp
Sushi burrito was amazing, but the Broth is Miso, definently not a real pork bone broth as advertised. Beef was cold when served in ramen. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Heidi C.

Yelp
Very disappointed to say the least, we had two orders of calamari fried way to long therefore tuff and dry. My grilled salmon poke bowl was bland and veggies tasted like refrigerator but maybe it was the rice, I was so disappointed. My husband had a beef ramen soup beef was ice cold..... $41 for such a sad result! I did mention the calamari were fried to long but the chef only said, ok.
google avatar

Kaled K.

Yelp
Always delicious fast and reasonable for the entire family. Love online ordering and pick up usually ready in 15 minutes. We always love Poke night!!
google avatar

Maxamillon C.

Yelp
I absolutely love poké. It's one of my favorite foods. I try it in each city I visit. I sadly forgot the name of the poké dish that i ordered but it was simply amazing! Trust me I Hawaiian seafood salads in more then 9 states and this poké ball was one of the best! The price for the large bowl was about $10-11 I believe. WOW, what a great price, also great customer service. I definitely will be coming back when i am in town!
google avatar

Abhilash T.

Yelp
Got myself some carry out from this amazing place and eating it thirty minutes later it was still delicious. My favorite part about this burrito which consisted of spicy tuna and spicy salmon was that everything tasted so fresh. There are tons of sushi restaurants and even one around the corner from Poke Fish, but majority of them seem to either be priced really high for what you're getting or they just don't taste good. This was not a problem here at all. I loaded up my burrito with some spring mix, onions, cucumbers, mango, cilantro and a little tempura crunch. It was topped with spicy Mayo, poke sauce and eel sauce. It was so good! So good that I went back the next day for lunch as well. I've never had pork gyoza before but I decided to just try something new and random and it was also fantastic. These guys are making amazing food and if you're nearby you should absolutely come try it! Thank you for an exceptional meal!
google avatar

Mike K.

Yelp
Probably the best Poke you can find in Macomb county. Delicious fresh fish with tons of toppings included. You can make your own poke bowl, which I highly recommend. I tried the marinated tuna, salmon, and yellow tail, and added essentially every topping from their topping bar. You have options of rice (I got brown rice) or salad as your base. Please try and give this place a chance, especially if you are sushi fans! I didn't order this, but I've heard great reviews from friends regarding their sushi burrito and ramen bowls. Enjoy!
google avatar

Ben P.

Yelp
We come here often, so much better for you than fast food, the staff is always very nice and food is very fresh. I always get the salmon / ahi and I never get tired of it
google avatar

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Best part is they don't skimp on fish in their sushi burritos and the variety of toppings are awesome!
