Google
I ordered through uber eats. I customized the bowl with sauce on the side. It was fresh. The dumplings are very small in size.

Google
I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. I will absolutely be back often. The inside might not look super fancy and what not, but it's worth the try.

Google
I wanted a quick high protein dinner option so I opted for Sashimi. I never complain about price, but the quality of the fish especially the octopus was completely unacceptable. It had been freeze dried and had turned into a tasteless jerky. The salmon and the tuna was fine and suitable for human consumption but at $9 per two pieces (less than 1.5 oz) it was of poor quality. With prices like this you’d at least expect some elevated but basic condiments such as Shiso leaves or ginger. Neither was provided. The tea was served by hand and the waiter was holding the entire rim of the glass so I couldn’t even drink my tea. Avoid if you care about basic quality, service, and a somewhat sensible quality to price ratio.

Google
A cozy restaurant with a large menu of sushi, bowls, and ramen. The vegetarian ramen was delicious, just the right spiciness level. Service was pretty quick and friendly. A handful of small tables inside for seating.

Will B

Google
This is a very small place but feels very authentic inside. I got two pretty plain rolls (rainbow and cali) and I wish I would have tried something fancier because I get the impression they’d put more love into the better rolls. Still my lunch was tasty and I left pleased with the order.

Google
They had the order prepared under 10 minutes and it tasted great! I had ordered ahead for quick pickup (due to COVID-19) and it was a very easy and relaxed process. Below are some pictures of the interior and food that I ordered. This includes the Beef Ramen, shrimp teriyaki, scallion pancake, and seaweed salad.

Silas C

Google
Probably not official ramen, but I prefer these types of noodles over ramen from most other places. Large portions of pork belly for the pork belly ramen and decent flavors. The beef is not so good.

Ana Z.

Google
The food is amazing. The salmon and tuna was delicious. The El and cucumber were incredibly fresh, and the flavor that it had was amazing! Definitely coming back for another bowl!

Yelp
The Poke Garden special was so delicious! I couldn't decide what I wanted and this was perfect since it included my top three protein (shrimp, tuna, and salmon). Veggies and rice too, along with the house sauce that is comparable to yum yum sauce. The service was great too, really polite workers and quick. Great for lunch, also space to eat inside.
google avatar

Janhavi N.

Yelp
Great fish quality! There is a variety of options, and cute seating too to enjoy your meal. Service is efficient and friendly. I will be coming back here :)

Yelp
Well this place is basically a hole in the wall that most people walk right by. I was looking for something vegan & they are limited in their options but thankfully, I was able to get some avo & cuke sushi. It was unfortunate to see the leak they had w/ this bucket of dirty water on the floor, pretty gross.
google avatar

Celine T.

Yelp
Pretty decent poke for the price, taste and portion. It's very much a hole in the wall/take out friendly but service was great and the fish tasted fresh. The miso soup was a little artificial tasting but I didn't mind it since it complimented the poke. I liked that there were a lot of options for the poke and if you don't want a bowl, you could make it into a burrito or order sushi.

Yelp
I come here pretty often for lunch and the food never disappoints. i think the portion sizes are good and it's always quick service. i only give it four stars because they have a punchcard that they only punch if you order in person (and i usually order online).
google avatar

Yelp
I have ordered from Poke Garden for years. and now they have a new policy that unless you order $50 in food they will not deliver. My order came to $33 and i got a message i needed to order $18 dollars more. I am supposed to order more food than i can eat. It is sushi i would not be having leftovers. so i would have to choose but to order food to throw away? I am one person i do not want to spend $50 on food and then i tip $6 and the delivery is i think 3 so $60 for takeout for one meal. I hope they read this and reconsider because their food is good but the policy is not and they have lost a customer. also i live about 1/2 mile from the store.

Yelp
I am a big fan of this location, especially for a quick and easy lunch! I enjoy the variety of options that Poke Garden has to offer, and it is really fun to make new bowls all the time! I especially love the shrimp tempura and salmon bowls, and they are always sure to give generous portions! The workers are very kind and quick to serve you at the counter. Little pricey but worth it for the poke bowls!
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
Because the food is great and I love it here and I hope everyone would like it here and it's so nice here

Yelp
Sometimes I just need a poke bowl. I pop in here from time to time for zucchini noodle poke bowls with salmon. This time I also got a passionfruit overload green tea. There is nothing overly special about this place. If you want consistent poke bowl with good customer service, this is a good spot.

Yelp
A decent poke sushi place located in Brookline Village. Nothing special, but a standard meal to fill you up. I ordered a poke bowl with eel & tuna with seaweed salad and Hawaiian shoyu sauce. I wish there was an option for multiple add-ons to your poke bowl, but since there isn't they do give you a lot for your add on. I got a lot of seaweed salad in my bowl. They were definitely really heavy with the sauce on my poke bowl. There didn't look like much in my bowl, but it was filling as there was 3 pieces of eel and a handful of tuna chunks. There was a good amount of poke to rice ratio, so everything mixed well together. I also ordered a tin guan yin bubble tea, which was okay. The boba was vey inconsistent, some were soft and chewy, while others were hard in the middle. It seems like they mixed yesterday's old boba with new boba they made today. The milk tea wasn't too sweet, but did taste a bit powdery. Overall, not the best poke, but also not the worst, so if you're in the area and craving sushi it'll do the job.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were in the area and I suggested we get lunch take out from here because I'm still on my quest to try every poke place in the Boston and Greater Boston areas and we aren't in Brookline very frequently. The woman who helped us was super friendly and sweet! We ordered online and it wouldn't allow us to pick multiple mix-ins and toppings and she let us make changes while we were there (to pick up) since she didn't have the opportunity to make them yet. She gave us large scoops of basically everything and the quality was great. We also got crab rangoons, which were delicious and yummy! Though it's still not #1 favorite poke place in MA, this place definitely is in top 10. It honestly makes the experience better when the customer service is great and the quality and food is made-to-order. I look forward to coming back here again
google avatar

Ana Z.

Yelp
Definitely recommend going to Poke Garden! I have been going to their restaurant just recently and all of my visits were delightful. Their customer service is great and the bowls are just delicious! They are a little pricy but it's definitely worth it for such a delicious meal! I will be definitely coming back!

Yelp
I really miss Clover where Poke Garden is, the reason why is that Clover had more business than Poke Garden, also Clover's food was delicious, Poke Garden food is very bland, for example today I tried the Hawaiian Maki, it was very disgusting, the prices are reasonable for some items but other items it's very expense to order, at least when Clover was there they had reasonable prices for all their items on their menu.
google avatar

Renato C.

Yelp
Food is good, although for the price portions could be a bit better. Everything was ruined halfway thru drinking their japanese soda when I checked their expiration date, If thats the case please BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING DRINKS HERE. DISGUSTING
google avatar

Chirag M.

Yelp
The Poke bowl here is quite good. I got the spicy salmon, which was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh - I would definitely come back here
google avatar

Marisa M.

Yelp
Great poke spot in Brookline. Super friendly service. I had a build your own poke, with salmon and tuna. Lots of selection and everything was fresh. Quick and easy to get good poke!
google avatar

Katy M.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients + delicious poke. We got a build your own bowl. The boba was also great. Friendly service at the checkout.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
This is my third visit to this location: and I will say I will become a regular. Tonight I got the build your own poke bowl. All of the ingredients are very fresh and tasty. There are many toppings and sauces offered that you can put on your bowl. I would recommend getting a bowl with the grilled chicken and wasabi shoyu sauce! It is incredible. This very laid back location is great to grab a quick bite to eat, as well as very clean!

Yelp
I've been waiting to try this place since the "coming soon" sign went up last year. I was devastated to lose Yokohama as my local mom and pop sushi place and was a devoted customer. So I had high standards for anyone new coming into the neighborhood sushi game. Tonight I finally got to try Poke Garden and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. Since it looks like more of a fast casual place rather than having the more "traditional" look of other sushi restaurants, I wasn't sure how good the quality of the food would be. I had the Ahi Tuna poke bowl with sushi rice and Ahi sauce, and it was excellent! The tuna was really fresh and tasty and they gave a very generous portion of fish. I look forward to trying the salmon and all the varieties. I'm excited to try their take on the sushi burrito, and they have something I hadn't heard of called Makirittos which seem to be mini sushi rolls. Also I must say that I am someone who hates DIY in food options -- I never can get the flavor combos right, but I feel totally equipped to build my own bowl next time. It's much less stressful than other places because they offer unlimited add-ins of toppings, so I'm not struggling to figure out what I want to eat and calculate the price of my meal and decide if it's worth it all at the same time. I greatly appreciate this simplified pricing method! Plus, the customer service was excellent. The woman who helped me was very sweet. I will definitely be coming here regularly for all my sushi needs. And extra bonus points for serving their takeout in what appears to be compostable or recycled paper bowls. Gotta love the eco friendly touches!

Yelp
The food is amazing and the people are so nice! And it is always clean and cheerful inside! The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the menu includes items that everyone in our family loves (kids, adults, vegetarians, meat-eaters, etc.). We eat here at least once a week. The service is also above and beyond - we had an order that was somehow canceled by Grubhub and they brought it over themselves.
google avatar

Sal N.

Yelp
Happy to come across this place cause I am a poke bowl lover and this place is in a nice location, clean & friendly staff. This place has zucchini noodles as an alternative to sushi/white rice which I like. I've come several times and some times the food selection looks like its been sitting out all day and not so fresh.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
Good: clean, relatively quick, some seating, unlimited toppings. The owners seem very sweet. Average: prices (~$12 for a bowl), rice cook (a tiny bit mushy), overly sweet sauces. Some toppings were borderline fresh. Tuna was fairly fresh. Bad: took a while to get someone to actually take our order, the salmon was absolutely not fresh, and it wasn't busy during lunch service so I fear freshness will be a mounting concern. 3.5. Love having a poke shop in my backyard, don't love rolling the dice on freshness.
google avatar

Tara T.

Yelp
Poke Garden is okay! It's decently fresh, has seating (which is a step up from the previous Clover stationed here), and has reasonable prices ($11.45 for two protein choices, unlimited toppings, and your choice of base between rice, salad, zoodles, or burrito). I did find the dressing a little heavy; especially since I got zoodles, I was drowning in sweet ponzu at the end. The fish seemed fresh, though, as did the veggies.
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
I tried this place as it's the nearest sushi place in Brookline Village and approve. Service was fast and convenient pay options. You can also order ahead and just pick up. I had the ahi tuna poke bowl with sushi rice, seaweed, mango and cucumber. All was fresh.
google avatar

Josh Y.

Yelp
Poke Garden is a new poke restaurant opened in Brookline, and yes, it is Chinese owned. Portion was decent, with unlimited mix-ins and toppings, and two-protein option was only $12. I got sesame ginger sauce, which was a delicious creamy sauce, but did not expect it to be mayo based. Avocado was the only item cost extra ($1.50).
google avatar

Phillip M.

Yelp
Let me just start out by saying when Clover closed, I was pretty upset. I love me a good fast casual place. Clover was gone and knowing Brookline, it was most likely going to be replaced with just another Real Estate office. Luckily, Poke Garden stepped in and boy it's delicious. I feel like with poke bowls and sushi-ritos, you need to excel in both quality and the variety of ingredients, I think Poke Garden does both pretty well. I just got a build your own bowl with both the Spicy Tuna and the Ahi Tuna and boy, it was delicious. The fish was fresh, the toppings was good (highly recommend the Sriracha Aioli), and the price wasn't too bad. Poke Garden just jumped up in my short list of good quick options.
google avatar

Juliana I.

Yelp
Delicious poke in Brookline village! Very friendly staff. Good value as well. Salmon was very fresh and you can get as many toppings and dressings as you want. Great variety of fresh ingredients. Definitely the best in the area. Can't wait to go back!

Zoe F.

Yelp
Really nice owners, and delicious bowls at a reasonable price!! Unlimited toppings and give you a bunch for the value. A really nice, family run business in Brookline with great flavors and truly delicious bowls. These seem like kind, hardworking people making very good food in a neighborhood that can sometimes be hard on small businesses!

Alexa P.

Yelp
There was a good amount of fish in my poke bowl, but there were more than a few scales and bones which was annoying. Also, the Japanese banana cake wasn't a cake at all and didnt seem like banana, it was more like fried plantains with a sweet sauce on it. It wasn't bad, but it's not what the menu says.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
Excited Brookline has a poke place and this place doesn't disappoint. If you like poke, definitely give this place a try. Delicious poke, super kind staff. Seems to be family run which is nice to support. Ingredients are fresh and yummy.
google avatar

Nina S.

Yelp
What a great us of space and a new offering in Brookline! I absolutely love Poke so I was ecstatic when I found out that I no longer have to make the trek to Cambridge/Somerville to get one of my favorite meals. Poke Garden has all the standard options for add ins, proteins, toppings and sauces but when in comparison to other Pokes spots, it can seem a bit basic. There's a few seats if you want to eat there- but don't plan to go with a large group! Overall, it's clean, competitively priced and delicious!

Natalia K.

Yelp
It was disgusting. There was a lot of mayo and no avocado in our poke bowl. We requested tuna in place of salmon, but received a poke with salmon anyway. Only the rice was edible. Newer again.

Clara G.

Yelp
Bad quality, there are fish bones in salmon and the spicy tuna just taste not good either, in fact rotten! Don't know how many day it has been there in order for it to taste like this, fishy smelly and sour. The worst experience ever
google avatar

Colin E.

Yelp
Super fresh sushi! Ordered delivery and came within 30 min. Got some basic roles which were awesome and the poke bowl was delish. Fish is super fresh and so tasty. Nice quality ingredients. Would order from here again in a heartbeat.

Carol S.

Yelp
Excellent quality of seafood. The food is a great balance of flavors and texture with fresh ingredients
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Pretty good poke restaurant. Fish is fresh, tables are clean. Recommended for people who likes poke. pretty good overall.

Caroline O.

Yelp
The sushi is fresh and delicious. The service is fast. I was so excited to see steamed mini soupy pork buns on their menu. They are delicious. My kids crave them all the time.
google avatar

Nina C.

Yelp
Great food, and clean environment. If you like poke bowl and sushi, you have to try this place out. The staffs are super friendly and they take any request to satisfy the customers. Lots of options including vegetarian and vegan!
google avatar

Erika S.

Yelp
I work close by and have been here quite a few times for lunch since it opened. Each time I've gotten a different poke bowl and loved all of them! They give you very generous amounts of each ingredient and everything is fairly priced.
google avatar

晶晶

Yelp
Food is good and delicious. The employees are nice. There's a variety of sauces and mix ins which are vegetables. They also have a variety of appetizers and have added new items to their menu such as ramen
google avatar

R M.

Yelp
Consistently delicious poke bowls! I get this at least once a week and love the raw salmon and shrimp tempura bowl with yuzu ponzu sauce.

James T.

Yelp
Just bad. In all ways. Really the worst. Bad fish, avocado, rice. I have had many amazing poke bowls. You will not find one here.
google avatar

Mirbobbie A.

Yelp
So delicious. Wish I could eat this way (healthy, filling, lots of variety) every day. Recommend the sushi rice for the base: yummo. The server was super attentive and nice.
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
One of my favorite new staples now in Brookline Village. They have a delicious variety of things but their namesake is the Poké Bowl with plenty of options to suit most any palette. Topping things off are a nice assortment of other Japanese delights including sushi, as well as bubble teas & smoothies.

Amanda N.

Yelp
Love this little spot in the village! I'm a sucker for poke and have been to my fair share of duds, but this one really is fantastic! They have so many topping options you really can't go wrong
google avatar

Jake C.

Yelp
This place is dope. An excellent alternative to Mexican bowls for those of us who love raw fish and sushi. Super happy this is in Brookline Village.

Ray S.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh poke bowls every single time! Fish is excellent and a number of great toppings to choose from. Can't go wrong with a poke bowl from poke garden! Good dumplings too.
google avatar

Amanda Ó.

Yelp
So yummy love the zuccini noodles, fish is fresh, lady who makes the bowls is the sweetest. My co-workers and my favorite place to go at lunch!

krissy r.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Can't believe I've lived here for so long and never tried his place. Excellent poke bowl with perfect amounts of all ingredients. They followed the notes I left and it was delivered FAST (Uber Eats). Super fresh ingredients, and probably the best miso soup I've ever had. Great packaging too! Will absolutely be back, Mahalo!
