"Local seafood chain Poke Green has permanently closed its Greenwich Street outpost after three years. Co-founder Colin Cento tells Tribeca Citizen that the company was unable to come to an agreement with the building’s landlord and had no choice but to permanently close. “It is incredibly frustrating and not what we wanted,” he says. The local chain is survived by an outpost at 164 Pearl Street in the Financial District." - Luke Fortney

Had an amazing poke bowl here during a work trip. I built my own bowl with 3 proteins. The fish was fresh and the portions were generous. The poke juice was spicy but added a ton of flavor to the bowl. I also had their Szechuan special dumplings which came with chili oil and scallions. Surprisingly good. The manager was very friendly in helping explain the process to me. I’ll be back next time I’m in NYC.

I come here often and the food is consistently fresh. It seems like they always have some sort of special going on. Today I got The Prime which is one of their new sushi burritos and a spicy scallop hand roll. Both were fantastic. Service is quick and friendly. Love having Poke Green in my weekly lunch rotation.

The fish is fresh and the portion size is larger than usual. Its nice that you can choose lots of toppings and mix-ins. The price is pretty standard. The staff wasn't very friendly. I had placed an online order and when i went in to to pick it up, there was no clear indicator of where the online pick-ups are, so i ask the lady over the counter and she barely looked up, motioned with her head and said its over there. On top of that, "over there" was just an empty shelf which is where my order was supposed to be given that i ordered way ahead of time.

I love Poke Green’s poke bowls. The fish is always very fresh and the bowls are bigger than the other poke spots I’ve tried. Delivery is always fast. Their dumplings are awesome too. Their ramen in the winter is a great addition to the seasonal menu.

Huge poke bowls, definitely worth the price. Not sure how they pull it off, but they also have some of the best pork dumplings I've tried in NYC. The staff is always friendly and every time I come in they are playing 80s music which is pretty funny. They usually have some sort of promotion going on as well.

I work nearby and come here often for lunch. The poke is consistently fresh and the staff is friendly. They also have some of the best dumplings with chili oil I've had. They do hot food in the winter which is a great addition to the poke bar.

This place is delicious. It's open later than a lot of the other poke places. The classic tuna, the midnight chicken and some mini dumplings for a little over $40. I only wish they had some smaller size options.

I just finished a poke bowl from Poke Green and it tasted like I'm going to be hungry in an hour. I opted for the create your own bowl with two proteins: tuna and salmon (on top of zucchini noodles, which were a bit soggy, by the way). The fish tasted fine, but the pieces were minuscule and there weren't very many of them. The bowl overall was just lacking of flavor, something that the wasabi mayo I got didn't help too much with. This was my first time trying out this place because it was the closest poke spot to work. The only positive is that they're on Ritual and pick up was quick. But I guess it was a red flag that no one else was really picking up, or dining there at prime lunch hour. I think next time, I'll just walk a bit further to my go-to poke joint, where I can get a bigger and better-tasting portion, for the same price.
