Best drink ever I live in Columbia 3 hours away from here and greatly loved the drink I got I got the strawberry yogurt slush with boba I loved it so much I would come back but I’m leaving hopefully my brother who now goes the Drexel continues my legacy of the boba place❤️

I went to this place with my friends across near Molly tea me and my friend were hungry so we went there and placed order, but they don’t take cash only takes cards I order the food as usual through the screen and we sat and wait almost like 20 mins or more and we got our food but for mine it taste like very salty and not too much feeling the taste in it and it was like smal portions too and it cost me like 20 dollars cuz they added taxes but idk if I want to order from this place again..

Defrauding consumers, I ordered a luxurious protein sushi bowl, two eels and a tempura shrimp in panda, but there was only one eel. I bought at least three pieces of eel in other restaurants, and I ordered two, but only got one. Is it so blatant to cheat money?

The best fruit tea is made with real fruit, while many places use fruit powder.

great experience picking up (very Covid safe, even though it's late in the pandemic). the Hawaiian poké bowl was very good and only mildly spicy, while the Wasabi shrimp and scallops over poké salad was delicious 😋 couldn't be happier and can't wait to go back and try more menu items

This is probably the worst poke bowl I’ve ever had in my life. I got the Hawaiian classic and it was 95% rice with a laughable amount of tuna and toppings. It was dry and flavorless. When I picked it up I was able to immediately tell how dry it was and asked for more sauce on the side. The guy said that would cost extra. I’m happy I didn’t give them a penny more but this sad excuse of poke, especially for the price!!!

So.. I was super thirsty and got the grapefruit tea with mango boba with 30% sugar. OMG it was soooo refreshing and yummy. My friend on the other hand got a tarro something and said it still has powder that wasn’t blended well. I’m a tea girl, and will definitely try other fruity teas. Was a good first time 👍🏼 I’ll be updating this list every tome I try something new: 1) Passion Fruit and Lime Green Tea: 30% sugar, its sweet and refreshing. I added mango boba and its even sweeter and yummy! 2) Brown Sugar Bubble Milk: My husband favorite so far! 5 stars! Milky and sweet and cold.. so delicious! I’m not into milk in my drink lol but it was beyond delicious! 3) Grapefruit and Peach Green Tea w. Jelly: Was good. A lil bitter cuz of the grapefruit. So if u aren’t a grapefruit fan might be too bitter for y’all. 4) Ice Grapefruit Green Tea: This is my favorite! The ice is slushed and it doesn’t water down the juice which is a huge plus for me. That definitely will be my summer drink!

The staff had like, the worst attitude ever. I was literally standing there, ready to order, and he just ignored me for like 3–4 minutes, scrolling on his screen and even took a phone call! Then he tells me the drink I wanted, which was like, right there on the poster, wasn’t available. But when I ordered it online (only few sec later), it was totally available. So unprofessional and super careless. Don’t go unless you’ve got plenty of time to waste, seriously.

WOW. This is a true 5-star Poke bowl. Why would have thought? Regretfully, I procrastinated trying Poké-man for over 2 years. Given the, "lulzy" name, I guess I expected it wouldn't amaze me. I was very wrong! The fresh ingredients, attention to detail and beautiful presentation were 100% exceptional. I got the customized bowl: ahi tuna on rice with beautiful crunchy vegetables atop. I am essentially salivating thinking about having it again. The inside seating area is nice enough and there's a few screens around to place orders. I want to go back again (tomorrow?). Look past the name and try this sleeper Poké!

Love the food. They forgot my avocado one time and do not get the notes when ordering on yelp, but it's always ready and fresh. Solid choice and easy to order.

Although this place is literally called "Poke"man and does sell Poke, this store is more known for their boba. By far the best boba shop in University City with so many selections from yogurt based drinks to fresh herbal fruit teas. I'm a huge fan of their lychee freeze and want to come back to try their matcha milk tea (hot) which I heard taste amazing on a cold winter day.

Poké-Man offers a varieties of options for poke bowls and more. The food is extremely fresh and the quality is first rate. I ordered a Create Your Own Deluxe Poke Bowl which came with a choice of 3 proteins. You have your choice of 10 mix-ins to choose from, and double the amount of toppings. The taste was great. The portion was a little smaller than compared to its competitors, and they need to designate which items are gluten-free. If those two were corrected, I would have given Poké-Man 5 stars. I look forward to ordering from them again-

Really love this "passion fruit + lime green tea"! It tastes really refreshing after a meal. I added grass jelly & nata jelly, and then milk form on top! Highly recommend to add milk form & jelly (or boba) into any of their fruit drink!! You will have two different types of drink to taste from one cup: fresh fruity drink & milk tea drink. Definitely will come back to try their other fruit tea drinks!!

Tasted great. Unique to poke man I think is the barbecue eel option which is really tasty. The salmon was also very fresh. However the two stars were taken off because they forgot to put some of the toppings I had asked for and they already limit the amount of possible toppings you can get so that was dissapointing. Furthermore, when I got there I was told my order was already ready because I did it on an app. I appreciate the way they are keeping everyone away from the employees because of covid but none of them came up to me to ask for My order number and they were constantly talking to eachother and it was hard to grab their attentions to ask for my order. After about 15 minutes I was given my order that had been sitting on the counter the whole time out of reach because they blocked off the customers from that area. In all, good tasting but dissapointing experience.

I usually don't write a review after just a single visit, but the item that I ordered, while good, I would not get again, which is why I'll do an initial review now, and will update in the future. I stopped in on a Friday evening with my partner to order dinner, and I probably should have expected that COVID safety would make some aspects of the experience different than the norm - you can't see the ingredients behind the glass because that area is blocked off. But they have a nifty iPad style ordering station where you can choose and customize your order options, and you get a text message when your order is ready (about 15 minutes). The entire ordering process was quick and easy, and theservice was prompt. . Since I couldn't find reviews for the poke burrito option, of course that was what I had to get so I could be different. I wanted to compare which of the tuna options was best, so I got both, and plenty of veggie add-ins too, with the Pokeman special sauce. So, what is a poke burrito like? I probably should have guessed, but it's basically like a gigantic sushi roll. The seared cajun tuna was definitely better than the ahi, and the vegetables (edamame, red cabbage, cucumber, carrots) were all great. T]he poke burrito is not a great vehicle for the sauce - I barely tasted any so I added a bit of my own stash of soy sauce and ground black pepper to boost the flavor. My partner got the standard tofu poke bowl option and liked it a lot, though the serving size was a bit small for him. The portion of the poke burrito was perfect for me, though I wouldn't get it again because as far as sushi, I've had better, and I think going with the classic option will work best here. Sometimes being different just for the sake of it doesn't work out as interestingly as you hope it will. I'd really rate the experience more like a 3.5 stars, but I have great expectations for next time- stay tuned.

Awful!! Ordered 2 poke bowls one had a fly! Second one tasted dry and awful. Both went in the garbage

The service here is pretty slow since they seem kind of understaffed. I've been here a few times and while I say that they're probably the best Poke in University City, it's because there really isn't any other restaurant that will serve this in the area. I'm giving this 3 stars because it's very average Poke. After being to a few chains in New York, I found that this place charges the same for less food - they give a lot of rice/base, but not a lot of fish. Everything else is fine, it's just that the contents did not really fill up the bowl.

Finally got a chance to try this poke restaurant in University City last night. I ordered via Grubhub for pick up - and the service is slow as many reviews had mentioned. Although my order was ready for pick up - it took them a while to get to me even though there was only 1 customer in front of me. Unlike some other locations where the staff is able to multi task and ask the next customer if they are picking up while waiting on the other customer, it took a bit to complete the previous transaction for some reason. The poke was OK. It's slightly cheaper by about $2 than some compared to center city - but the quality matches the price difference. The seafood didn't seem as fresh - I'm speaking for the salmon and scallops. The salmon was very fishy smelling and the scallops had an odd texture. I know that my palate is especially sensitive right now since I just got back from Japan.. but that salmon almost made me sick with the smell and stringy texture. It's alright.. but I don't think I'll be returning. **TIP* 10% off when paying with cash

Decent poke at an okay price. We got two bowls with sushi rice: salmon and albacore, and salmon and seared cajun tuna. Good: The salmon and tuna were good, and there's a large selection of mixins and addons -- I consistently get the crab salad, seaweed salad, and tofu skins. Bad: The albacore was overly salty and many of the pieces were overcooked and rubbery. The sauces are good but I wish there was more added, without having to pay extra. Overall, nothing spectacular, but Pokeman is an average option in University City.

Moving to Philly from Seattle, I've had a hard time finding poke or Asian food in general. I'm happy to say that I've found my favorite poke nearby! Poke-man has amazing quality fish and poke bowls that I would recommend to anyone who needs a healthy, but filling bowl. Create your own bowl w/ 2 protein ($10.95): I got the create your own with Sushi rice Ahi tuna & salmon Pokeman classic flavor Cucumber, edamame, sweet onion, cilantro Crab salad, sesame seeds, spicy furikake, seaweed salad, green onions, and ginger/wasabi Garlic crisps The one thing that stood out to me is the fish itself. Diced into cubes of deliciousness, the spicy tuna and salmon were really fresh and high quality. The other toppings like crab and seaweed salad perfectly complemented the bowl. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would encourage you to try one of their select poke bowls or make your own if you're feeling a bit creative!

I didn't get food here but I was waiting on a friend to show up for hot pot next door and found myself craving a bubble tea so I decided to pop in here for a drink. It was a little after 9PM so there was virtually no one dining inside and one person picking up an order. The girl taking the order was probably the least friendliest person I've encountered this entire month (we do live in Philly after all). No greeting of hello, barely made eye-contact and spoke in a whisper. When I asked if she could adjust the sugar level in my bubble tea, she just stared at me. So I asked again and she mumbled something and I had to ask her to speak up and enunciate because I could not hear her at all. I eventually made it through my order and paid. She begrudgingly made my bubble tea and then placed it on the counter without saying anything. Cool. As I was leaving, I heard her say in Mandarin to her manager that she was going to settle her cash drawer. Mmmmkay. I guess she was in a hurry to leave but that's not really a great excuse for the piss poor attitude. Anyway, in case management is reading - she's the girl featured in my interior menu photo of your establishment. Good customer service goes a long way, maybe give her that head's up. Oh - the tea was just ok. You could probably just go down the street to Ochatto to get one just as good and without the attitude.

I ordered the build your own poke bowl, with three types of tuna. When I opened the bowl, there was a big bug in my tuna, and it was alive!!! So disgusting! The fish is also not fresh at all. Won't go there again. If you like bugged food then it's a good place to check out.

There is a Tsao Caa in this pokeman. If you're feeling something deity, The GRAPEFRUIT ICE TEA (more than see you here) is my FAVORITE drink!! Super super good. If you're feeling something more milky, I recommend one of the fruit teas or the cloud mist milk tea. I really appreciate the design that they put into their cups, it makes them look sophisticated as you take them on your stroll down locust. In my opinion, this is the best place to get drinks on Penn campus. Kungfu tea has better boba, but the drinks here are superior. I don't recommend this as a place to chill, it's more of a to go place. That's because their structure has the drink making area inside the shop and there's no sound barrier so it gets loud and it's hard to hear the people talking to you. Also this place is pretty slow, don't go here if you're in a rush.

I've been ordering from here for a little over a year and half and have always loved my take out orders. I introduced poke to my friends and coworkers and they all fell in love with this place too. The preset bowls are great and varied but I really enjoy the make your own bowls which I literally throw just about everything in. The fish is always super fresh, rice is to die for and the sauces hmmmm! I always usually order from grubhub which honestly is probably easiest, I went in to order once and it was so busy and packed. I never realized a pretty famous bubble tea place is also within this restaurant until I went. Bubble tea from here is really good as well. I have tried authentic poke from Hawaii and from here, and amazingly I prefer it here because of the toppings and sauces! Definitely give this place a try!

Summary: Ok beverages, but I am not getting food here again. Standard bubble tea shoppe. If I do come here I usually get the rose oolong with honey aloe. It's refreshing and not overly sweet. However, I am beyond disappointed in the poké bowls. I got the chicken poké bowl and the chicken was cold. I could be wrong, but I did not think ALL poké bowls were served cold. That cold chicken, on top of the tepid rice, was so offensive to me. The rice should have at least been hot.

The sauce is good and they match well ！I think poke special is my type and carb stick seed weed is so nice！This rice is very delicious, the rice is very soft, very full! The cucumber vegetables are very fresh, the crab sticks and the shrimp are very tender, you can feel the good taste, the sauce is a little bit hot, mixed with mayonnaise！ I will try it next time and there is a get 2 one is 50%off event！

Seldom do I write negative reviews on yelp but the action made by employees at Poke-Man warrants a review. A fancy interior and some nice packaging does not permit an established vendor to be obnoxious and outright rude to their customer. It does not matter if I ordered 1 or 100 drinks, just do your job. If you want to be berated in front of your kids simply because you ordered using grubhub which charges the vendor a fee, please come right on in. It takes a damaged soul to be so bitter and mean spirited. I would, I repeat I would definitely consider putting up with this type of treatment if the product was good but this watered down liquid dirt is far from desirable.

There's a good reason I knocked off a star for Poke-Man. While the food here is one of my favorite poke places in the city, the service is AWFUL. If the folks at Poke-Man got in a race with a turtle, a sloth, and a snail, all three would lap Poke-Man before they even got two feet out the gate. The first two times I got food from here I ordered online. Delivery was perfect. Pickup was crappy because the food was not ready when it was supposed to. And eat-in was horrendous. Order and wait twenty minutes to a half hour or more for a poke bowl. Poke is supposed to be one of those "fast casual" type things. Just about every other poke place in the city will prepare your bowl in front of you as you order. Not here. Order at a register, then wait. They'll make it when they get to it. Which might be tomorrow. In all seriousness, the choices of proteins here (seared cajun tuna, for the absolute win!) beats every poke place in the city. There is by far more variety here than anywhere else. Flavors are top notch. That being said, I would NEVER, ever eat in here again. The service is just THAT bad. Order online and you will be pleased as punch with an amazing poke bowl!

After eating from here twice, I'm able to say that this place is consistent and yummy! The fish is amazing, with so many toppings to choose from on the poke menu. The wasabi aioli is wonderful, making everything creamy and strong, and the veggies are fresh! Also, the up charge for the avocado is definitely worth it, with the most I've ever seen for the price increase. They also have a punch card system so you'll earn a free bowl after 10! Overall, a good amount of food and the price is reasonable. I usually order for pick up, so I've never had a problem with wait times or anything, but they usually seem to work fast when there are people in line. Will be back, and will try the bubble teas!

Stopped by Sunday to get refreshing drinks after long bike ride in town. Drinks are good, no problem. but the store front was disgusting with hundred of spotted laterns. Just as bad as the T-Mobile right next door. Chipotle in the area fixed the issue once reported on news, it's now clean. does this store owner even care to take action? Bugs are flying everywhere inside and outside. Which makes me to wonder what if there is a chance bug got in my drink?! Eww... If we did not run out of water and being so thirsty, we won't bother to step in. Please care about your store and take action. I won't stop by again.

This place is delicious, but MAN, it is slow. Sooooo slow. That said, the ingredients are fresh and both times I've been I've loved what I ordered. They forgot my shrimp the first time around, though. And today they forgot my mango and my crab salad. I'll give them another shot and see if they speed things up a bit, and improve on accuracy.

I had a pretty solid first experience at Poké-Man. I popped in on a Friday evening and placed an order for two poké bowls. One of the employees helped me out with the menu and some questions I had. I decided to get a bubble tea at the last minute and asked for the black tea but made less sweet. The end result was a delicious bubble tea made exactly to my request. At home, the bowls were also as-requested. I thought some of the toppings were a little skimpy but, overall, still a pretty packed bowl that kept me full for the rest of the night. I'm looking forward to more visits and am happy they use frequent customer cards as well!

I usually don't write reviews but I was so upset by my experience. This is regarding the bubble tea place Tsaocaa that is attached to the Poke place which equally has horrible and slow customer service. I had the WORST experience. The electronic ordering machine didn't work so I asked the worker to take my order. He didn't understand how the menu worked and told me I couldn't put ingredients like tapioca into my drink. Then, After 5 minutes of hassle for him to understand my order, he put it in the system and gave us the receipt. Even though he didn't make the drinks yet, he asked for a tip... What? My mom and I waited 25 minutes by the door, standing and watching him slowly make the drinks. He moved at a pace where it seemed he really didn't care about our order. I didn't hear any sounds of a blender or see him put in anything in cups. He just disappeared into the back a couple times. We were the only ones there and who ordered. Another man came in and was waiting for him to take his order, but he wasn't greeted nor given a chance to put his order in. Out of frustration from waiting already, I told the worker "I think this guys here to order" which is when he silently grabbed the paper and took the order. After another 10 silent minutes, the man who came in after us left with his food. This made us extremely upset because we had already waited for a long time and someone who ordered after us left already. I demanded him to give us our drinks, since we had already been waiting for about 35 minutes now. He replied by YELLING backing at us, telling us how the drinks are hard to make and he's doing the work of three people. I told him that that's not a problem on our end, and that it shouldn't take 35 minutes for 3 drinks. He kept fighting back at us, trying to justify himself and complaining of OUR ATTITUDE. I told him that it seems like he doesn't like his job that much, so he should just quit. I even asked for a refund at some point and that I'll leave without my drinks, and he said he can't do that. He needs to learn proper customer service. I have been to tsaocaa at another location, and it is the first time I have been met with this horrible customer service. This one worker had an asian accent (chinese/japanese) with long hair. He had his airpods in and really didn't care about his job. I would like you guys to take proper action against him, and fire him for his ridiculous attitude. I seriously am a fan of your drinks and was not expecting this kind of service.

I really love their drinks. I always order Peach Milk Bubble Tea and it's so good! The staff is also really sweet and patient.

One of my favorite places on campus! Cute vibes, affordable, and fresh food. They are very careful about my shellfish allergy and have never let me down. Food is always top notch and a good quantity.

The food is solid but the service sucks. I ordered a build-a-bowl, paid for it, then 10 minutes later got told theyre out of the protein I ordered. Okay, so I ask to sub a different protein. I'm rudely told they're out of that too. Clearly this guy is annoyed that I'm just trying to get what I paid for. At this point, I ask what I'm supposed to do now because they cant provide what I actually ordered, but proceeded to make the rest of my food without it. Refused a refund, can't give me what I ordered and paid for, and was generally rude about the entire thing, seeming annoyed at me for wanting to at least get something comparable to what I already paid for. I won't be returning here after this experience, there are a dozen other places nearby on campus with similar food I can go to without the attitude I got here. EDIT: Posted this while still eating the partial food they gave me. When I was done the guy who previously had been rude came over and offered me a partial refund.

I ordered through Grubhub and thoroughly enjoyed my bowl. For the amount you get, it's well worth the price. The depth of the bowl is deep so you get a lot of rice. They're pretty generous with their toppings too, which I appreciate. I've been to other Poké places where they had flatter bowls and a lot more stingy with the amount of toppings they spread on. I paid roughly $11 for the bowl before tax, delivery and tip. I got 2 orders of salmon as my protein and it really satisfied my cravings. The rice and sauce was not too salty, which is great because sometimes the saltiness can be overwhelming from Poké bowls. I'll definitely be back to order again! Hopefully in person next time to avoid all the additional fees that come with delivery.

The opening buy-one get-one special drew me in, and I got to (finally) try poké for the first time. The line was long and slow, but it was all eventually worth it. My bowl was delicious and refreshing. Packed with flavor - and the menu is big enough that you could continue to customize and explore new options. I ordered a rice base with ahi tuna & salmon, with cabbage/pickled cucumbers/shiso/seaweed, the spicy ponzu sauce, seaweed salad and spicy wasabi crackers. I loved how fresh and bold the flavors were. The fish itself was light and fresh. Despite the pace of the line (probably just working through some kinks), i really loved what I had!

Don't get a poke bowl! So exited to try this place and it was a total disappointment. Won't be going back.

Poke-Man has good boba, I'll say that, but it is not the best in the area. Additionally, their poke-bowls are overpriced and hardly satisfying. This place is a great location for a coffee chat if you want to catch up with someone, but if you are looking for a meal, this definitely is not the place to be. My previous review of Poke-Man was based off of the promotion that they have where if you check-in and you can receive a free medium sized bubble tea (no strings attached). While this is true and a dope promotion, I checked in and the cashier asked to see the review. I looked at her and was puzzled because after all "Why would I review a product before trying it out," I asked her. I gave the 5-stars and got the free bubble tea. Looking back at it now, I now have time to thoroughly review this place and have updated it! Definitely give this place a look to see if the free boba promotion is still going on!

They no longer do small but they let me add avocado instead . I'd come back. Also got mango tea with nata jelly

I've been here many times for poke. They've recently changed their system and now there's a form for you to fill out instead of walking down he assembly line. Usually one bowl is enough for two meals for me. I'll update the review after this next order.

Been here a dozen of times - would give my experience an average of 3.5. (+) Poke bowls have a good amount of food but (-) a number of friends think that they give too much rice in their bowls Tip: for poke bowls if you're looking to fill up, you can max out on toppings that are unlimited (-) Though the poke bowls aren't bad, the low rating is heavily influenced by their bubble tea. At first, I actually liked their tea more than most of the other spots on Penn's campus - it felt authentic. But after a couple of weeks, I noticed the tea tasted extremely watery or milky, lacking an actual milk tea flavor. Others have mentioned this as well. Also, they can take ~20 minutes just to make 2 bubble teas which is pretty ridiculous.

I've been craving poke for a while and chose this place because of it's catchy name. I wish I could say that it was good but it was an overall disappointment. Tuna chunks were dry and thrown in the bowl. Usually the protein is tossed in sauce and marinated to absorb the flavor of the sauce but this was just mediocre quality of fish thrown in a bowl of rice and lettuce and sides. However, every bite was just underwhelming and unsatisfying. Salad=bed of iceberg lettuce.

This was the most overpriced, mediocre food I have had since moving to Philadelphia. See attached photo with the size of a standard pen for reference. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I go here every once in a while to get a quick meal or boba. I would say the boba is the star of the show. It's definitely one of the best in the area because you can actually taste the tea base and it doesn't taste like powder. It does a long time for them to make the drinks however which is why I gave a four star rating.

Convenient location next to campus but unfortunately they added jalapeños to my bowl even though I didn't ask for them. They also weren't serving their small bowl size, only their medium - wish they didn't have that on the menu if it wasn't an option. 10% off if you pay in cash

Everything that's been written about the speed of service is 101% true. On more than a handful of occasions, I've waited for almost an hour for bubble tea orders... and in a couple of those instances I've been the one holding down the fort (aka parked car), and I've had to literally ask the people who went in to order if they were helping to make the tapioca bubbles. This is definitely NOT a quick to-go fast food/drink place by any stretch of the imagination. Why the four stars then? Because their bubble tea is so damn good. And consistently good! And customizable to your tastes (eg hot or cold, more or less sugar, bubbles or aloe, etc.) So while it pains me to know I can't just pop on by for a quick tea, I know this is the place to go when I'm in no rush. Their poke is, thankfully, faster to prepare than the tea, and is overall quite decent. Sometimes they don't have some of the ingredients I've wanted, but most of the time they're spot on, and hey it hits the spot when I want something fresh and not too pricey. TLDR; OK poke and slow-as-molasses bubble tea -- but the tea is totally worth the wait... if you can spare the time!

I was so excited that they have Tsaocaa here near UPenn! I have tried the ones in Maryland and Chinatown, PA. Picture 1 was taken in the store in MD. I was looking forward to my second cup of See U Again drink! However, the one I got inside Poké-Man DOES NOT have any grapefruits (as shown in picture 2&3). I'm really disappointed!

Super quick pick up and excellent service. I got Ahi on fire and unfortunately, it lacked fire or heat and sauce. Next time, will definitely ask them to add more sauce.

If you thought snails traveling through a mile of peanut butter was slow, think again. This place sets all new lows for slow service. My first experience here, I tried picking up food that was ordered thirty minutes in advance, I stepped inside and waited fifteen minutes for my food. In my experience at other Poke restaurants, you can not only order your food and expect it quickly, you can customize the order on demand and the food is prepared in front of you. Ordered 11 drinks from Grubhub. The app said we could pick it up in 15 minutes. When we got to the store after 15 minutes, they told us not to place a big order from Grubhub.
