Overall disappointed — the food was good and I generally like poke, so it’s not like that was unexpected. I appreciated how quickly the food was made too. I received my order quite promptly. That said, the customer service was just serviceable. I don’t have a problem with that — let employees feel what they feel. As customers, we can always tell when they’re faking it. The counter guy was fine. End of story.
Really, the sticky point for me is the pricing. $15 for a small bowl of 50% salmon, 50% ahi with white rice and avocado. That’s too damn much, man. MAXIMUM that’s a $10 meal. Absolutely insane that they get away with that. Competitively, I think that should be $8.50.
Then again, I don’t know what the tariff rate on white rice is. Note to self: Consult a farmer.
