San Antonio Barbecue Restaurant 2M Opens New Restaurant Blu Lacy | Eater Austin

"A fast-casual Hawaiian spot opened its fourth location at 2601 East Cesar Chavez Street as part of a shared space with JuiceLand in the Holly neighborhood on Nov. 1. The usual menu centers on poke bowls with tuna or salmon, rice, and vegetables; customers can use a takeout window or order online with Uber Eats delivery. The brand’s first location debuted on South Congress in 2016." - Nadia Chaudhury

This is a great spot!!! Poke is extremely fresh, tastes delicious, and the ‘Big Jim’ Hawaiian style bowl was completely perfect. And staff was also so kind. My uncle has been coming here for 6 years and loves it, so I had to try while in town for a few weeks. I had a great experience getting lunch here today and will be back!

We got a single scoop and a two scoop poke. The 50/50 was very good as a base. The yowza yuzu was pretty tasty as was Jt’s. The white rice is better than the brown rice. They do have some outdoor seating, but nothing inside and no bathrooms. The price was a little high for lunch but it was filling.

For what it is, this place feels very overpriced. My order had very little fish, and when I asked for help understanding the menu, the staff member just stared at me instead of offering assistance, which came across as quite rude. The extra charges for almost every add-on feel excessive (I could understand for premium items like avocado, but not across the board). Taste wise, the food is decent, but you can definitely find better quality and value elsewhere.

WOW Poke a couple streets over off Cesar Chavez is superior. For $20 I can get a big Bowl with a lot of add ons (free). Poke Poke charges for every option and cost me double for the same amount I would get @ WOW Poke. Don't waste your time & money.

Very excited for the new location in a walkable distance from us! We’ve been coming to Poke-Poke for a long no time and it always hits the spot. The quality of the fish and the seasoning is always delicious. My complaint is that we’re paying top dollar for it and the serving size is disappointing. Today I ordered one scoop of salmon and it was mostly seaweed and cucumbers. I get that food isn’t as cheap as it was but this doesn’t feel right either. When we first started going to the Congress location, we would marvel at how much it filled us and how much fish we got. I guess we have to adjust our expectations to the new serving size 😕 P.s. tables and set up is cute but lots of flies swarming while we ate.

The salmon sesame ginger was absolutely EVERYTHING. Such great flavor and it all tasted so fresh. Excited to come back and try more.

Loved the poke here! Very friendly staff, the person taking our order explained the menu to us and gave great recommendations. We talked to a super friendly man outside, who turns out was friends with the owner. He told us the owner is from Hawaii and wanted to bring an authentic poke place to Austin. According to my girlfriend who's from Hawaii, the food tasted very authentic. Love the idea of customizing the recipe, and the salmon was super fresh. I ordered the Big Salmon poke bowl, with white rice, and the OG recipe. Would definitely reccomend to those looking for 10/10 poke.

So excited we have a closer location on the east side finally! Super high quality and more authentic to Hawaii poke. Don’t expect a “heaping serving” like some of the cheaper knock off poke places that throw in a hundred toppings, more moderately sized but the quality is absolutely worth it. It tastes like Oahu.
