I’m always up for a good poke bowl, so I was excited to give this place a try. When I walked in, the staff greeted me and guided me through the ordering process, helping me put together my bowl. I chose spicy salmon and double spicy tuna, and the combination turned out great. Everything tasted fresh, with a nice balance of flavors—I really enjoyed it. I would definitely eat here again but was just visiting.

First time to try and will definitely ne coming back!! Fresh items, friendly staff and generous portions plus yummy taste is a perfect combo, you guys earned my loyalty! Thanks

Best poke bowls around! Everything looks so fresh and pretty. The store is COLD...which is a good thing. I dont want my raw food getting warm! The portion of a small bowl is perfection. I love how the protein is in cubes. I got the spicy volcano bowl and would 100% get it again. The employee guy was very informative and friendly. I cannot wait to go back. 😍

Really enjoyed this place. They have a wide variety of options and, from what I could tell, there are no up charges, so you can fill up your Pokē bowl however you’d like. I ordered their new Volcano bowl over cabbage and spring mix with extra jalapeños. The fish is very fresh as are the veggie toppings. One large bowl could be shareable because they’re quite generous with the veggies, but I’d recommend ordering your own and saving the leftovers.

Just got a tuna lovers bowl for takeout and the tuna was completely discolored and tasted off, had a grainy texture and was clearly not good. Rice was also off in taste and texture. I threw away the bowl once I got home and realized it was not good.Called and they were unwilling to give a refund. I’ve had good poke at this chain before at other locations so this was really disappointing

I really enjoy creating my own bowl, and having no limit to veggie or toppings. The quality of the ingredients are good as well. The portion size for the salmon and tuna can be a bit bigger, like they give the tofu and chicken. But of course those are more experience ingredients. The servers were quick and knowledgeable. It’s definitely a good choose for a bite of lunch.

Great good and big portions! Loved the spicy tuna bowl. The large size was enough for my boyfriend and I to split. Tons of different ingredients to choose from.

A really good poke option! I got a build your own bowl, the large option which means you get 3 proteins. The regular option has 2. This is a great poke option, you pick your base, your protein, toppings, sauce, etc. The protein, toppings, and sauce all get mixed together unless you request they don't. Not a lot of poke places take this approach but it's a good option. The interior is well maintained, very clean. The staff is very helpful and nice! The only downfall is the price, I'm not a fan of extra charges and this stop has some up charges for a few topping options- it's nothing too out there but if you're not looking to spend a lot be mindful! Overall, great spot!

Came by here, service is great, restaurant is clean, ambiance is also very nice (it's all white with cute sort of billboard word lights). Food wise I bought the new volcano bowl (included spicy salmon and spicy tuna). I got with brown rice and everything else it came with. It taste good, however it is not worth the price (2 bowls were ~$30 with taxes). I got 4-5 cubes of fish. It was 90% salad with spiced jalapeños. My sister got their rainbow bowl and it was kind of the same. Unfortunate, since I would come here when I was in college. Would recommend if you want a salad. Not really if you are looking for poke bowls

I was craving a poke bowl, and decided to give this spot a try. It was peak dinner hour, but the place was empty - maybe it's more popular for lunch or takeout? The decor is bright and clean, and there's a few tables inside. It's a fast casual setup where you order and pay at the counter. I opted for the regular size Tuna Lovers bowl, which I thought was a fair portion. To me, the taste was just ok - I've had much better poke bowls and for less $. But then again, what isn't overpriced these days with inflation. And as others have noted, service was particularly unenthused. All said, I wouldn't go out of my way to return but if I was nearby and in the mood for poke, I'd stop back in.

Not sure why the last review hasn't been for 5 months, maybe because there are so many poke places around, seems like saturated in the Troy area. But we came here for a "healthy" dinner to go for the road, and it was good. I never really know what to order, but I split a large tuna bowl, it was good, maybe a little too spicy with the sauce., but that's ok. The avocado was food, the tuna was awesome. Whoever prepared it did a good job. We liked it a lot. Seems pricey for one meal, but I could justify it by splitting it. Be sure to use the app, who doesn't have one now, to earn rewards.

I was really happy with my experience at Poke Poke, I appreciated they had vegan options that were clearly labeled on their website and more than one vegan sauce option. Ordering through their app is easy and the order was just as requested. I also thought it was nice that takeout orders come packaged in a sealed bag so if you order as a delivery, you don't have to worry about any mishandling. I do wish their vegan options were more clearly labeled while ordering in the app, but at least the website can be cross referenced. There's lots of toppings to choose from and everything tasted fresh with good flavor. I will definitely order again from Poke Poke.

Stafon was so patient with us even though the restaurant was busy and he took his time and explained everything for us and didn't rush us I highly recommend the restaurant and the food is so good and the customer service makes it even better

Great service and quality. The tuna and salmon was super fresh and delicious. The employee that took care of me was super nice and helpful as it was my first time. Medium bowl was plenty of food and was really reasonable for $13. Will definitely be back.

This place has so many great customizable options. I'm not a raw fish eater, but that was not a problem here. I made my own bowl with brown rice; chicken, artificial crab, corn, and cabbage mixed with spicy mayo; and topped with nori strips, crispy onions, tempura bits, and masago. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and light, yet filling. The interior is bright and clean and the service was friendly. They are very precise when adding ingredients to the bowls, measuring out everything. That is a good thing - it ensures consistency and the portions are pretty generous. I got there at around 11:40, which is perfect timing because the place was packed by the time we left. I'm really glad to have found a new place for lunch where I can get healthy, delicious food!

Looove this place! So fresh, so clean, and so healthy. I love where it is located too. - Troy is so upcoming lately! I arrived at 11:30 A.M and since the parking area is so small, I had to walk quite a distance. It was slow when I came but by noon, it was packed and the line was out of the door. I created my own bowl and had a 30% off coupon by the app FiveStars, which took $3.50 off my total bill, which was nice. I ordered the regular size this time and it didn't fill me up like the large did last time so I probably wouldn't get a regular size again. Two workers came to the table to check how everything was and I enjoyed the friendly service, being that it isn't a restaurant where there are servers.

I was so excited to try this place because I love poke, however this was extremely disappointing. I was first bummed out when I saw that they did not have a marinated option for each raw fish. This is what makes it poke! The serving sizes were pretty skimpy and they charge extra if you want more than their one squirt of sauce. I asked for free soy sauce packets to add more sauce because it was so dry and bland. The biggest disappointment of all was the fish itself, it was super fishy tasting. Not normal for sushi or poke. I ended up throwing most of this bowl away in fear that it would make me sick. I don't think I'll ever be coming back. There are better poke places nearby.

This place is my newest obsession. Everything about it is so good. Been here nearly 10 times and it is always very fresh, clean, & delicious. Only had an issue with the miso soup being too watery once but it has never happened again. I appreciate how healthy the menu is and how there are vegan options. Can be pricey, especially for some add ons being over a dollar extra, however it is a nice splurge to have once in a while! Parking is easy and staff has always been very friendly as well!

This Subway version of sushi unrolled. Boy was I disappointed even before leaving and tasting my food. Small portions, the fish looked previously frozen and it's Way overpriced. I'd rather spend money on authentic sushi. When I finally tasted it ... it was just ok... did not enjoy it at all. I won't be back and I scared to try other Poke restaurant , if it is the same setup.

Food was good. However the customer service is dull. No smiles, no welcome or thank you for coming in, spoke too softly where i could hear (my w the high ceilings did not help). But really disappointed about the service. I won't come back because i did not feel appreciated.

We came here 3 times in 4 days? I think that tells you a lot. The guys behind the counter were so awesome, so friendly, and so ready to help in anyway possible. We ended up doing "make your own", kind of like subway but in a bowl. Wonderful array of fresh seafood, rice, and veggie toppings.. the sauces are so good. This place is really "hip".. I've been in here at 11, and they get busy, even at 11 on a weekday! Constant flow of people in and out.. I think that speaks volumes to a new business. Oh, the music they play is totally great too! Haha but as I ate there each time I really enjoyed the music. I think the combo of good food, awesome employees, throw back music, bright and fresh colors.. make this place just stand out to me. I probably will put this into my regular rotation. Also, there seaweed salad is soooo good!!!

This place is convenient for me because there's an LA Fitness in the same plaza. Every time I go to Troy gym I usually stop by and have a poke for my post workout. The restaurant has enough space to sit down and try different mix of pokes. Plenty of parking. I think it's the sauce that puts all the flavor together. You start by selecting your poke and select the many toppings available. I tried the salmon and it was good. Servers plays an important role because if you're lucky you'll get more fish than usual. I didn't get much of my salmon and a bit disappointed. Check em out tho try it out you might like it.

Not super fresh! Okay Also, smaller portions and unfair prices. This place charged me the most out of all the poke places I've been to. Thought I'd give this one a try, but nope never coming back here! Poke fish or poke works is way better! This place is not it.

My husband and I stopped by this new poke restaurant on Saturday. The staff was really friendly and helpful and helped us select two of the most delicious poke bowls I have ever had. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl with white rice, spicy tuna, avocados, cucumbers, sesame seeds, pickled ginger, roe, and their delicious house sauce. My husband ordered a similar bowl but selected Ahi tuna and topped his with fried onions. Both roles were absolutely outstanding with extremely fresh sauces. I also appreciated the fact that they allow you pretty much unlimited toppings. If you things are an up charge that would definitely be considered premium items like a half of an avocado and spicy crab salad, but most items are absolutely included. The atmosphere was super cute and clean which definitely contributed to our experience. We will definitely be regulars at this place.

They made the bowls right with the correct ingredients but my bowl and my sisters bowl Both tasted very fishy ! The ahi tuna just wasn't right in both bowls . I called and they were nice over the phone and they said it's fresh tuna but both of us just couldn't eat it . They did not offer to remake it or give a credit for next time .

My boyfriend and I had the BEST experience. We have never had poke before so we decided to stop by. The customer service was amazing and the food was delicious. Our guy made our bowls with TLC We will definitely be back! 11/27/2022

Saw the place driving by , so we thought we would give it a try. Really glad we did. I had the build your own large (3 scoops ). I chose the spring mix , with the large i got the choice of three proteins I chose ahi tuna , crab and Hawaiian salmon. Then I had vegetables to choose from I got watermelon radish, cilantro, red onion , green onion and cucumber. You get choose a sauce I had the sesame ginger. The fifth and final was the topping I had sesame seeds. This was all mixed in a bowl. A very attractive bowl of food. The flavors were fantastic. The best part it didn't get drowned by the sauce a perfect amount was added. The staff in there were super friendly and helpful. They asked if I wanted to try anything before I preferred it. The only thing no Coke products.

Place: The place was spacious and had a lot of seating. The place has a menu in the entry way but not really when you are ready to order. Therefore I recommend you pick up a online menu and choose from there if you are indecisive like me. Service: The the service was good and it is just a you choose and they make the bowl for you kind of place. Food/price: The food was okay. I personally found a hair in the bowl but I just scooped it out and after that my appetite was ruined. It was still good but the sushi wasn't the top quality. I added avocado and seaweed salad (it does add an extra charge) Audience: It is for everyone! I know a lot of people really like poke places but I personally don't think it's for me. I would still recommend people to go!

I was working out of a new office and needed something I could get delivered quick. Their delivery fee was cheap, and it only took 15 minutes to get! The actual bowl was absolutely delicious. It was beautiful, well seasoned, and definitely hit the spot. The bowl was large enough that I had leftovers for the following morning, because who doesn't love breakfast poke in their pajamas! I got tuna and salmon, and it was still really well priced. All their menu options are bright and colorful, and they seem to use quality ingredients. I can't wait to order again soon!

I made my own bowl. It was good. I like how they have options to add crunch for a good texture. The fish is fresh. Their spicy mayo is extremely spicy, which I Like but if you're one of those people who likes spicy mayo for the taste and not the spice, it might not be for you. Their portions are larger than their competitors, which I appreciate.

Needed a quick dinner and stopped in and was not disappointed. I got a large bowl to share which comes with 3 proteins and unlimited toppings. The style is a build your own menu (similar to chipotle or subway) so you know it's freshly made and not sitting around. The bowl was delicious and tasted so fresh with the raw salmon, tuna, and mahi that I chose. Definitely will be going back for more than just a quick dinner.

The food is preety good, overall fresh and good choice of toppings etc. I did want a few extra toppings that I'd find at a similar place in New York but still welcome this cultural experience to Troy area. I would also say the staff needs to be a little more educational for people who are unfamiliar to poke and overall a little more enthusiastic... Offer suggestions, maybe even have a pre-suggested bowl for first timers to try?

My first time trying poke. The staff was so nice helping with selecting menu :) the restaurant is clean they mix everything in front of you so you can trust. They put a ton of ingredients so you will be super full after! I was very full after this meal.

There is nothing as fresh, delightful and delicious as the lean protein and vegs with a light sauce at this POKE POKE location! Service with a smile and a sense of humor is key and they have this down pat. Highly recommend giving this a try with your colleagues at lunch and back for a family dinner. Ask for Lawrence

The staff is always kind and fast, the establishment is clean and never too crowded, above all the food is fresh and delicious. If you haven't tried it then I recommend it, if you tried it and didn't like it then try something different next time around. I am absolutely impressed with this place, always a pleasure. Very poor customer service. Not friendly. Gives highly variable amounts. Fish did not look fresh. Very disappointing as we love poke. And wish there was a good poke place in troy.

Poke is one of my favorite things to eat. I just can't get enough! This place was just okay, I feel like the scoops they give you of protein are so tiny, in order to get a decent bowl you would have to get 3 scoops which obviously costs more. The toppings however were really fresh and there were many to choose from, I just think the value isn't there.

Wow! What a value! The food was fresh and delicious and bursting with flavor. We used their website, which was super user friendly, to place a pick-up order-my wife had the Dynamite Bowl and I had the Fisherman's Bowl. Her dish came with tuna, shrimp, carrot, mango, jalapeno, cucumber, chili flakes, sesame seeds, sweet chili gochujang, and she added avocado for $1 extra. My dish had west coast mahi mahi, shrimp, carrot, red onion, cabbage, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, ginger, and house dressing. Both bowls had lots vibrant colors, which were appetizing to our taste buds as well as our eyes. I can't stress enough how fresh everything tasted-just wonderful. There were plenty of ways to customize our bowls on their website. I had mine with brown rice and she had hers with spring mix. The order was ready when I arrived, so I brought it home for us to enjoy at our dinner table. We will be back.

Inconsistent service first time, young lady lead, today young man lead. Today service was not good (rude actually) not listening, rushing, mistakes made. Tried to comp a meal , not interested, this was after 2 in the afternoon. Not high traffic. Last time Saturday late afternoon young lady was helpful, attentive, interested This Place is not cheap I paid 27+ for two meals, easily could have been at one of the million of sit down restaurants on Big Beaver and treated well. I am a middle aged women who was there with my 20 year old son for his Birthday. The occasion was not good. They were more interested in the younger girls then my son and I being too slow and methodical.

Certainly, a lot of bang for your buck. When going to any poke place, I would recommend taking a look at the menu before walking in, otherwise, you could end up wasting a ton of time deciding on what to get. The service was great and the staff was always ready with suggestions and they are pretty upfront about anything that costs extra. Overall, I think you get more for your money thank Pokeworks, but Pokeworks takes this place on quality of products and variety of toppings. Another plus mark for this place is its location. Plenty of dessert and recreational/shopping options after/before the meal within walking distance.

You can have very nice poke bowl for around $10. One of the best value in town. I love the fact that I can have so many toppings without extra charge! Trust me. I have paid $19 for poke at other spot and I was pretty upset about it. Workers are very friendly. I think I have been there about 5 times so far and I always had good time. I always get avocado and seaweed salad for extra toppings. They charge extra but it is worth it. It still come out about $10 anyway. They have preselected menus but I love making my own bowls.

Delicious, filling, affordable.. this is sorta like a Japanese or Hawaiia version of Qdoba.. You choose your rice or greens, choose your protein, toppings, etc. I ate my Poke bowl so fast, it was that good. Looks like I have a new place to go for Fast but delicious and fresh food!

I was so excited for this place to open but I was a bit underwhelmed. First, it's like any other poke place out there, you pick your base (rice or greens or both), proteins, and then add your extras. I have never been to a place where you're charged extra ($1) for seaweed salad and your only option for crab salad (a small serving at that) is purchasing a side for $3.95. Those two are the best parts of the bowl! I was feeling a little rushed to choose my sauces so I didn't want to ask to try anything, but went with my traditional ponzu. It's nice that they have things like mango and dragonfruit, but I didn't see any furikake out either. Someone brought us over a sample of the matcha mochi and it was interesting. I'm not a fan of matcha at all though so it was lost on me. Bowl was okay, but for $11 for a small (normally $9.95 but again, extra for seaweed salad) I'll opt for some of the other countless create your own bowl op

Food was delicious but my bowl was only filled 3/4th's of the way and that was with $1.50 extra because my base was cauliflower rice. With the amount of food i got, i should have paid 3/4th the price. Not fair!

WARNING really small servings not worth buying then they squeeze small amount of sauce across your bowl if you want the house special sauce on your bowl they charge you extra for that or if you ask for sauce on the side expect to be charged for that too I order a regular bowl which was not enough poke nor not enough rice I was additionally charge for sauce on the side my bowl cost me over $17 service was unwelcoming & dry earlier I remembered ordering a regular bowl without any rice or couliflower was charge regular price BEWARE save your money make your own poke poke very expensive for unfriendly ppl & small portions! stay away!! First time ever trying poke poke, by far the best bowl I have ever had. What an awesome ambience here. Every one is super friendly. And Randy was helpful with explaining the menu.
