Reading through some of the other negative reviews makes me sad. I love this place, but that’s also because I order something very specific every time. 3-scoop Tuna poké bowl with a variety of toppings. Their service, topping selection, and food volume is all top-notch. I haven’t tried any of the other dishes, but their tuna Poke is a safe bet and has never let me down. Their Jalapeño sauce is so refreshing and provides an amazing kick.

Liked this place before because they are one of the few places that offers cooked meats with the poke bowl. We ordered 2 grill bowlz to be delivered and were delivered someone elses order. Okay, no problem, we just decide to drive 20 minutes out to get it instead. We read them word for word our order and are given just a basic beef bowl. Beef and rice. None of the toppings I asked for. Not worth the drive or the price and incredibly dissapointing

Zero complaints. Salmon and other fish was fresh. Everything tasted great.

This has been my go to poke place for some time, but I won’t be going back due to MAJOR SAFETY issues. Customer beware. First offense - guy was cleaning the floor and didn’t change his gloves when he prepared my food. Had to tell him to change it. Second offense - food was great until it wasn’t. A few pieces of the salmon were spoiled rotten and I could taste it as I was chewing it. It was so bad I spat it out and threw away the rest of my food. I am breastfeeding and hoping that I don’t get food poisoning from this incident.

wouldn’t let me add half salad to my poke burrito. never been to a poke place that wouldn’t add it, especially when it says online that you can. definitely not coming back for lunch

This place CHANGED. It has terrible food now. The fish is totally different from what it used to be, and it just tastes rotten and cheap now. So sad. This was one of the best poke places in CA for a while until business changed apparently!

Poke bowl was yummy! The bowl and fish are big! Clean restaurant and friendly staff too. Parking is easy and theres a decent amount of seating.

FOOD: Love the poke bowls here!! Everything is so fresh and great flavors!! SERVICE: Everyone that's helped has been so nice and friendly! They are helpful if I have questions. DECOR/AMBIANCE: Nice casual decor and ambiance. I've been here a few times and Will definitely keep coming when I crave a poke bowl, which is more often than I should :)

Oh Poke Bowlz! You've saved us so many nights from having to cook when getting home late. It's so easy to walk in here, be greeted by friendly employees, order exactly what you want and be on your merry way, within 10 minutes. The fish is great and they give moderate portions, with the best sides a poke place could offer, in my opinion. Well Poke Bowlz, see ya next week!

Honestly, I'm not the best pokey fan to be reading, but this place is pretty good and it seems very clean. I'm just skeptical on fish even if refrigerated but has been sitting out all day. They seem to keep it fresh and manage the cleaning is very well. The kid size is actually pretty good value for a small bowl. You only get one scoop though. I'm OK with that. We've been here a few times and it's pretty consistent so we will probably be coming back again

If there were more locations, It would definitely blow up. This place is good, I came after a tournament, once you walk in, it's super easy to order, and the staff is all friendly. The most favorite thing I ordered was actually the spam musubi, I was waiting for it to be just like a regular but it was actually sweet, i don't know if it was glazed but was super good and crispy. I had made my own burrito was super good, easy to make, and good price, I had taken it home and parents are usually picky and they even loved it. Lots of seating too, would definitely go again.

The food at this restaurant is so fresh and yummy! I have been there many times and they are consistently high quality and made with care. The staff is very friendly as well and they let me grab a sushi roll with a discount a few minutes before 8pm. This is my all time favorite poke bowl place and I will consistently be coming back!

Yum!! Fun ambiance at Poke Bowlz with delicious poke. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a quick lunch one day. This poke spot did not disappoint and seemed to have some unique options! For a strip mall the restaurant had a lot of character and seemed like it would be a fun spot to grab a drink as well. I recommend checking it out. A little pricey but you get what you pay for with poke!

The food here is bomb! I love that everything tastes fresh, healthy, and delicious! The Poke bowls come in many (4) sizes which is sooo good bc my daughter gets the kids size while my son needs the extra large. They have many options for the poke bowls so you can get whatever you want (also octopus). I also love their warm bowls (spicy pork) sooo good! Owner is very nice and sweet. Really happy about this Asian dining option in Ladera.

Amazing! The portions are so generous and very fresh! Ordered two times here from DoorDash and never disappoints. The fish ratio is topnotch. The prices are worth it for the portions and the taste factors they offer. Yummy!

Was craving some poke and growing up in hawaii I wanted something really good so i made the 25 minute drive and i am glad i did it! the poke was very fresh and a generous amount. service was great. will be back!!!

Paid a visit this time around to check out the store and dine in. I ordered my usual large poke bowl with almost everything in it (see previous review) and it reaffirmed that this is my favorite poke place in my area! My foodie sidekick ordered a regular beef bowl, which was really quite tasty! The beef was cooked perfectly with a little char on the edges. Updated pics to show the beef bowl. However, for this review, I will focus on the following: THE POKE BOWLZ & GRILL FEELS | Industrial SoCal vibes with painted brick walls, shiny concrete tables, metal chairs, and wood slat benches. The food preparation area is clean and well maintained. There are two lines; one for the poke bowls and the other for their grilled meat bowls (signs show where the grilled meat station line starts). I observed the staff who were attentive to their guests and also made sure the tables were cleaned every time someone left. Overall, pretty great service! THE PARKING SITUATION | Plenty of free parking in the shopping plaza.

I usually like this place but I did an online order and picked it up, to discover they did put ponzu on my order when I specifically on my order stated I wanted the gluten free sauce. I can't eat gluten. Then the staff proceeded to blame me! I've spent a lot of money here and I'm very disappointed and will not be going back. Allergies are a serious thing and I'm disappointed at the staff.

The hubs and kiddos have been loving this place. There were some hiccups a while back but no problems since. Food has been fresh and portions are great. The kids love having a spam musubi option. Indoor seating is family-friendly.

So excited to have this place close (I work in Mission Viejo) for a lunch spot! Bowls are large portion, very fresh, tasty, and lots of variety for the toppings. Plus you can add avocado without having to take a second out on your mortgage. I ordered a regular (2 scoops) tuna bowl and it was exactly what I was craving. This place gets crowded at lunch but the line is efficient and goes fast. Huge parking lot out front but be careful not to park too close to McDonald's and get boxed in by the drive thru. I'll definitely be back!

I like it here I'm super picky and always get shrimp and crab meat with rice and a bunch of veggies as I don't eat anything raw. The food is always good and fresh but it's very pricey. Overall recommend this place.

Not sure why they have so many good reviews. I got the 2-scoop bowl with salmon & spicy tuna. They did not taste fresh but they weren't exactly bad. The portions were very small. I asked for the sauce on the side but they didn't include them so I told them and they claimed it was already in the bowl... it wasn't. I did like the selection of toppings because they were different and not ones you'd typically find at other poke places. The price wasn't bad but I wouldn't come back here. Food: 6/10 Service: 6/10

Ordered takeout from here once. Poke is really good. Fish is very fresh and clean. Plenty of options for protein and toppings as well.

If you are looking for a fast, healthy and full of nutritional value, and even if you are on a diet, this restaurant is the best for you, I enjoy the speed and quality of the food, and the place is cozy and clean, and the prices are reasonable.service is good.

Awful Food! All seafoods are so old, last time I ordered the poke bowl and wasn't good, and I forgot until now (after 3-4 months). I feel Poke and ordered with 2 protein (scallop and tuna), they were so fishy and taste weird. Other than food the one star is just for the good service and the environment inside the restaurant.

This place is good. Not great. Meat portions for the grill are small in my opinion. The quality is there but for what your paying the portions could be bigger. Especially for the grilled bowl I got since pork is cheaper than beef. I was surprised how skimpy they are on the meat. My wife got a poke bowl which she loved and said was huge. Great tasting and fresh. Didn't smell fishy at all. I like how they have a selection of poke, grilled meats, various toppings and sauces (they need to get Gochujang) as well as ice cream, boba and Musubi. The place is clean and spacious. All the staff is wearing masks which we really don't care about but they are wearing them. Will definitely come back for the Poke Bowl. Not sure if I'll buy a grill bowl again with the portions being so small. They gave me a ton of rice but little meat. It was like 80/20 rice to meat ratio. Cool they have a rewards program as well.

Came here on a Friday afternoon after a gym session next door. I've passed by this place since it opened and never tried it but today was the day. Customer Service was really good, employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered a miso soup and a 3 scoop poke bowl. The fish tasted fresh, as were all the toppings. I was disappointed to see them pour my miso soup from a machine until I tried it, it was super delicious. I may not have tried the correct sauce for my bowl (wasabi Mayo) but I'll definitely be back and try others, and I'd recommend this place.

I've eaten here a few times and I always enjoy it. The fish is fresh and the other ingredients are great as well. The restaurant is clean and The service is good overall. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys poke!

Tried this place after working out at the gym for a healthier option than Chick-Fil-A (also in the same plaza), and it wasn't bad. I got the 3-scoop bowl with salmon x2 and scallops, which weren't fishy and relatively fresh. I liked that there were some great toppings options, but the stand out one for me was the cucumber salad! I haven't seen this add-on at other poké places, so I liked having the cucumbers with what tasted like lightly seasoned vinegar to add an extra layer of flavor to the bowl. The seaweed salad was a bit too salty for me though, and I had to take off a star cuz the server wasn't the friendliest to my daughter who was placing the order. Undecided about returning next time, but we'll see if the craving hits!

It's all about the ponzu, baby! Spicy ponzu, garlic ponzu, ponzu ponzu! Poke Bowlz & Grill has really got it going on when it comes to ponzu, and believe it or not, poke bowls too! All the right pieces of the poke bowl puzzle are there for you to assemble your own culinary masterpiece. If you prefer that masterpiece in burrito form, that's an option as well. There are also pretty tasty boba and drink options you can get. Portion-wise, you are going to see good value here from whatever size bowl you choose. I have been here several times and am yet to leave disappointed. They have the standard fish offerings, as well as octopus and a few other choices. There are also grill options which I haven't tried, but I'm sure they are good as well. Of course, inside dining is currently closed due to COVID-19, but there are a few outside tables in the shopping center to use. They have the option of ordering in person, or online. Five starts for being the best in the area by a wide margin.

This place is SO GOOD. The staff is friendly and professional, and the food is fresh and flavorful. One of my go-tos is a regular bowl with brown rice, 3 scoops salmon and/or tuna, spicy mayo, and plenty of jalapeños, cucumbers, crab salad, edamame, wasabi, masago, ginger, and seaweed salad. Good choice if you like strong flavors. Such a good, filling lunch after a morning workout. Better than Pokeworks, in my opinion. This place has more topping choices.

ordered a large for pick up with 4 sauces. no sauces were inside my bag. the poke bowl had 2 pieces of salmon and 3 tuna. it was absolutely ridiculous don't waste your money

Poke Bowlz is always a delicious, fresh go-to lunch place for me. I always get the small bowl with rice and lettuce with salmon and tuna with almost all the sides available. The spicy mayo is my sauce that is just enough spicy and creamy. It's delicious! An added bonus is that the employees are nice and friendly. Try it out!

My poke bowl had a caterpillar/worm in it. Maybe it came from the salad they serve? Very upsetting not only because I lost my appetite but it was a $15 bowl wasted. I called the restaurant and they gave me a free bowl which is nice but I hope they clean their ingredients better so that this doesn't happen again.

We've tried this place 3 times and we've enjoyed it every time. The regular size is pretty filling for me. I like the selection of toppings. We've always been in and out of here quickly and the employees are all friendly. We've had the poke bowls a few times and I tried the grilled beef bowl and I really liked it. The portion was actually a lot for me. Maybe I'll try their boba and desserts next time.

horrible me and my mom just got done watching a movie and was craving poke and we got there at 8:30 they close and 9:00 horrible service if you close at nine you close at nine not 8:30

My favorite poke place. I was shopping at Home Goods when I realized that there was a poke place in the plaza. I decided to give it a try and I glad I did. The ingredients were super fresh and high quality. The employees were super friendly and they welcomed us right away. The prices are very decent and the portions are big. I love the fact that they also have grilled vegetables & grilled Meat options. Everything in display looked so tasty. You can seat inside and wearing a mask was required. They also have a good selection of mochies, my favorites. Overall great experience. Try it, you won't regret it.

Poke bowl ingredients were very fresh. Sides and appetizers were very small and overpriced. In general the whole meal, including the poke bowl, was a bit pricey. I wouldn't order from here again due to price alone.

This is a generous 2 stars... I probably should have written a review on one of the many occasions we've had problems in the past, but today's adventure is what pushed me to do it. See, we usually order at night around 8pm. It's hit or miss whether the online ordering system works at that time, often letting you go through all of the steps to select the contents of your bowl, then failing right at the end because, as stated sometimes (but not always, frustratingly), some item isn't available. Would also be super helpful to identify what that item is, but nope, you get to head back to your order, strategically eliminating stuff and going back to the checkout to see if you're today's big winner and get to order your food. When we are able to complete the order, I'd estimate that 1/3 of the time, something is missing. 2 portions of spicy tuna? Nope, here's one. Extra spicy mayo? nope. Edamame you asked for, that's listed on the ticket? Sorry, nope. Selected crispy onions when you ordered? Absent. Exceeding frustrating. Today's lunch was the trigger though: Missing 2nd tuna scoop, missing spicy mayo from one bowl, missing crispy onions from the other. Both bowls, "stale" white rice. I don't know how you screw up rice. It's rice. It's the foundation of like 90% of the things on the menu, but yeah, stale. The bummer is that this is the Poke place that's closest, but I'm real tired of not getting what I ordered and fighting with the online ordering system. Time to drive a little further and try another option.

Ordered Poke for delivery and we were NOT disappointed! Despite the mark-up when ordering via 3rd party delivery (common practice), we still felt like the portions and food were very worth our money. We ordered two large poke bowls with spicy tuna and ahi and basically the works on the toppings. We requested in the notes that the ingredients be not mixed since it was via delivery and we got just that. All the ingredients were FRESH and well seasoned! Some of my favorite elements were the cucumber salad and spicy tuna. Fish was not fishy and provided in generous portions! We also got a large ceviche with wonton chips and they were divine! Once again, generous portions. We ordered an extra bag of chips Bc usually we feel like there are not enough chips when ordering such dishes and we were pleasantly surprised to see that there was more than enough! We were STUFFED and we were able to enjoy our leftovers for lunch the next day.

Delicious, great tasting, and reasonably priced describes this place. I don't know where you pay only $15.50 for a steak bowl with brown rice, salad, broccoli, and limitless toppings. It was so filling, and the steak was the bomb. The veggies were fresh. The salmon was grilled when you ordered them.

My friend and I went shopping at the Spirit Halloween next door while a poke craving hit. Thankfully this poke bowls was right next door. We walked in and there was one other family already paying. I was helped right away and got a small bowl with white rice and one scoop of tuna and another one of salmon. for toppings I got cucumbers, jalapeños, , spicy crab meat, ginger, edamame, and seaweed salad. I was blown away from how massive the amount was along with the amazing taste. Usually I don't save the leftovers but today I did. First time at Poke Bowlz and will be coming back for sure!

Poke is just okay. Pricy for the portion you get, and not much flavor in the garlic ponzu. Thankfully, there are a handful of options for add-ons, so that is nice. I also got the thai iced tea, which was no bueno. It tasted very watered down.

I ordered a poke bowl on DoorDash and it was delicious! I love that there are so many topping options as well as protein. A few places I've gone either don't have as many sauces, or toppings and limit the amount of what you can have. It was so delicious and I will definitely be going back here to enjoy another bowl.

5 stars!!! I love this Poke place. Decor is great, super clean and they are so friendly. The fixings are so fresh, a good selection of mix ins. They also offer Cauliflower rice as a base in lieu of rice or salad. I love the tuna and salmon, my husband loves the spicy tuna and octopus. The seaweed salad is yummy and all the portions are very generous. They even have a hot bowl option and the meat is cooked as you wait not sitting in a warmer. It's a must for your Poke fix!

Loved it!!! Everything was fresh and delicious. Great recommendations by Hannah. All servers were friendly and attentive. Love all the seafood choices, sauces, and toppings.. and they even have IPA. Will definitely come back here whenever when I'm in the area. Highly recommend!!

Bad experience on a Saturday afternoon. The worker forgot to put the meat on the grill. Waited over 30 minutes for my food. The staff was so unapologetic; please work on your customer service.

I found this place yesterday by accident. Sure glad I walked in there. I had the Korean beef bowl. Fantastic food. The ingredients are fresh and I am already looking forward to trying out their poke bowls. Definitely healthy options. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly, and very customer oriented. Looking forward to my next visit.

The area didn't just need a Poke place, but a GOOD one. Well this is it. Gave it a try, awesome!!! 3 different size bowls. Easy to read menu. They also have a grill which I don't know much about and might have to try... But the Poke...oh ya!

This place has the best POKE in TOWN. The owner is really nice and the staff are really nice and generous and polite. The quality of fish is way better than any other POKE RESTAURANTS. You have to try their spicy ponzu sauce!!
