Pokekai Doral Yard

I have been wanting to come here since mindlessly scrolling and coming across a review on insta. First of all, the location is awesome, it’s indoors and outdoors which helps with the heat. There are multiple vendors within the building and more outside and surrounding the shopping center. It’s very clean here too (inside and outside). I got the tuna burger, my daughter got a build your own poke bowl. Poke bowl was awesome, my daughter really enjoyed it. Large portion without feeling like it was too big. Ingredients super fresh. The tuna burger was awesome- it does have a spicy kick to it (which I love) from the spicy mayo. I asked for the extra sauces on the side, as I like to control the sauce amount. But there is still spicy mayo worked into the crab salad. The thing is HUGE. I could only eat half. It’s so delicious and the crunchy rice is perfect. The only thing different I’ll do next time is to order an extra fried rice patty to go with my daughter’s bowl. She loved picking off pieces of mine to eat with her bowl. Yum!!

Another 5 out of 5. Truly this place in Doral, Doral Yard, has amazing vibes and espectacular food. Although the music was a little loud for our taste the service at this restaurant, Pokekai, was short of a 10 for 10 (only because here it goes to 5 stars). Alexandra (I believe that's her name) and Maria, the manager, were front and center at the register. Patient, smiling, having great conversation and excelent customer service. Being in the management field for so many years it's always what keeps me going back to a place, the customer service. If the food is great but the service is terrible I will mot be returning. This is not the case here. I will definitely return to this establishment. Not only was the service excelent but the food did not stay behind. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! WHAAAAT???!!!! Seriously, what do they put in that Golden Shrimp Poke Burger? It was a burst of flavors in my mouth!! My mouth waters just thinking about it! It was DELICIOUS and that word doesn't even do it justice!! Exquisite, finger-licking good, mouthwatering, delectable, I can go on and on about this burger. I have NEVER in my life have I ever had a more savory burger. I'm in awe with what they have created. How they came up with that idea is beyond me. Im just glad I found them and that my daughter found the restaurant and invited me there for lunch. It's a MUST GO people!!!! Really...GO!! Don't just take my word for it you have to go try it for yourselves. You'll thank me some day. Enjoy!! I know for a fact you will. By the way go with an empty stomach because if you're anything like me one is more than enough. It's a little pricey but you're sure to get a taste/piece of shrimp in every bite. Oh before I forget I'm allergic to picante (hot sauce/hot spices) so I had the crab dip on the side and I'm glad I did because it was very spicy (as in hot spicy) I hope you get what I mean. As I always say, "It's ok to send it back," but you won't need to do that.

⭐ 2/5 — Disappointing first visit, especially for a special occasion We came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday — we both love sushi and poke, so we were really looking forward to trying this place for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience was confusing and disappointing from the start. When we arrived, the setup wasn’t very clear. A server takes your drink order, but you have to place your food order through a QR code… which wasn’t anywhere in sight. We ended up going to the host to ask for the menu. I was fine with ordering online, but the system didn’t let me modify my bowl, which was frustrating — especially since we were hungry. When my poke bowl came out, the shrimp tempura was completely burned — it looked oversaturated with oil and tasted the same. They added fried plantains which was extra 3 dollars which I didn’t request but I said nothing on that and let it be. Several ingredients I requested were also missing, including cilantro, cream cheese, and flakes. I brought this up politely, and the staff was kind and accommodating, which I appreciated. However, when they returned the bowl, it still felt like a bare minimum fix. I had them add avocado and you can in the picture it was old and brown. They added a 3! tiny cilantro leaves and some flakes, but the bowl still looked and tasted off. I tried a couple of bites, but the burnt taste and lack of freshness made it hard to continue eating. At that point, I just quietly decided this would be my first and last visit. I didn’t want to make a scene — especially on my brother’s birthday — but I left very disappointed. We really love the food! The poke burger is in another level 🤩 ladies night on Thursday absolutely worth it. The service is 10/10, nice place also.

Absolutely delicious!! I had the nachos with tuna! I was so fresh, the tuna was so silky. I cannot express how happy I am to have tried Pokekai. I also got the coconut lemonade and it was sweet, and fresh. It was beyond my expectations. Everything was perfect. Definitely will be back!

Tried the poke tuna burger after coming across it on social media, and it is just as delicious as it looks! Filled with krab salad, avocado, and seaweed- with spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side, you will feel stuffed!!

one of the best spots around to get some fresh poke. def recommend. Prices aren’t too bad either compared to other places I’ve seen around and the quality is there.
