Pokenroll truly hits all the right notes. The dishes are absolutely delicious and flavorful. In addition to the incredible food, the service is exceptionally kind; the staff are welcoming, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, offering a pleasant experience. Fair price but BIG portion. Staff are friendly. Poke are good. Cloud Roll is interesting, they have teriyaki sauce on top, but overall flavour is good.

If you're looking for an amazing poke spot in Calgary, Pokenroll is hands down one of the best! I absolutely love their large poke bowls, packed with tons of salmon and all the ingredients I crave. Unlike other poke places, they don't skimp on the toppings, and the freshness of the fish is always spot-on. Since it's a sushi place, they really know how to handle the fish, and it shows. I had a little accident once and dropped my poke bowl all over my vehicle, and when I went back to pay for extra salmon pieces, they ended up giving it to me for free! That kind of kindness is rare and really shows how much they care about their customers. The service is always consistent, and the way they cut everything is perfection, just like a sushi chef. I trust Pokenroll 100% because I know I’m getting top-notch quality and great service every time. It's truly one of the best poke places in Calgary, if not the best. You definitely have to visit!

Hidden gem in Marda Loop for sushi and rice bowls. Located on 33rd, pokenroll offers a variety of fresh sushi and other Asian food items that are delicious. There is a lot of variety and something for everyone. Chicken teriyaki bowl is a great lunch option. Service was friendly and fast. Overall I recommend giving it pokenroll a try.

Was searching for sushi around Calgary and came across this place. Wanted something quick and easy. It was absolutely incredible. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful and the food was even better. The photo is shocking because I just started eating straight away but since it was so good I felt like I had to write a review. One of the people I was with got a ramen and it also looked excellent. They said it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back. Was very reasonably priced as well.

We ordered the Beef Bulgogi Poke Bowl and Salmon Poke Bowl for takeout and were very impressed! The bowls were stuffed with fresh veggies and toppings. We tried a variety of the sauces and were impressed with all of them. The meat quality was also quite good, they gave a decent amount and it was cooked and seasoned well. Some of the best poke I've had!

I visited this place twice for take-outs and pick ups. Server was very kind and welcoming. The place seemed to be in a really clean and good condition and also gave friendly vibe for families and kids. I tried different rolls and all of them were very good. I also tried take out with my work colleagues and they absolutely loved every menu. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend this for any quick, eat out dinners or group dinner; family and friends.

The quality of their fish is very good. Looks to be a family business with the mother waiting tables, father as chef, and daughter helping out. Very sweet family and good service. It's a clean and charming but small space with only four group-size tables, and long benches along one side of the wall that wouldn't be comfortable for eating. Unless they typically have long waitlists, it might be better to get rid of the longer bench and squeeze-in a couple more tables for individual diners. Their ordering system can be a little confusing, first you order from the menu and then select modifications or extras on their tablet. The tablet is arranged from the restaurant's point-of-view, so it would have been nice to get some guidance and instructions from the waitress on how to use it properly. I'd recommend getting extra fish, and extra sauce if that's available, should you prefer an adequate balance of carbs, proteins, and moisture in the poke. Unfortunately I did find a tiny hair in my meal which could be easily missed, still a No Bueno.

I have a poke bowl from them every week. In fact, it was having one right now that has me writing this. I'm stuffed. And I'm half way done. Healthy, tasty, and great value... okay, next half, here we go!

Really happy to find this great place that hit the spot for my wife and I. My wife got the Red Dragon roll, we split a Cloud roll and I got tempura shrimp ramen. All impeccably prepared and super fresh tasting. Service was friendly and efficient. We were on vacation but I would go back while in town.
