The 8 Best Poke Spots In Seattle

"Poke Plus on Capitol Hill is an ideal spot to create your own franken-poke with loads of toppings, like mango, pineapple, corn, and edamame. The sauce options are not skimpy either.  Sweet chili sauce and wasabi mayo are perfect sidekicks for an (already very full) bowl. For a three-scoop fish option and unlimited additions ringing in less than $15, you’re getting a great lunch deal. " - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Google
I FINALLY found a good poke place comparable to Spokane. Fresh and tasty and such good sauces. So so tasty. Just wish more toppings available like peanuts and shredded carrot. But 0 complaints here :))))

Google
Excellent poke! The person I presume to be an owner served us and he was very kind and helpful. 10/10 service and food. Best to take to go as the location is very small, although there are some spots to sit inside.

Google
I love this place! The quantity, quality, service, and price are all perfect. I just discovered it, and I will definitely be back.

Google
Great to go poke spot. The service can be hit or miss, sometimes they are a bit cold (not rude) and other times friendly. I always order the plain tuna (not spicy- that one is mushy and I did not like the taste or consistency). The serving size for fish can also be hit or miss. Sometimes they have have have can be cheap with the portions and other times they’ve been generous. I love the topping bar, I usually add quite a bit of options. There are seats but I usually take to go.

Google
Owners are super nice, 100% recommend the Korean Spicy Bowl and Miso soup combo of the 21st century. Definitely coming back, and so should you. I even walked all the way from Queen Anne just for this experience and it was absolutely worth it

Google
Absolutely amazing! Have been coming here for years and it never disappointed. The salmon is the best in Seattle for the poke- order on a little sheet super easy unlimited toppings!!! GO HERE BABES!!!

Google
Amazing poke and sweetest owners!! Family owned husband and wife team. Honestly was a nice take and vibe compared to the local chains, the food was fresh and delicious. Must go!!

Google
Poke bowls had good ingredients, especially enjoyed the seaweed salad and spicy mayonnaise. Sushi rice was a little on the gummy side, but my vegetarian roll tasted good none the less. Shrimp in my poke bowl tasted a bit under done so I had to push it aside out of concern.

Yelp
IG: @solo_inseattle I was at the Aveda downtown with my brother & walked right across the street to this poke place. Its a cool hole in the wall spot and the staff was so sweet. I made a custom bowl and ate all of the proteins and veggies and left the rice at the bottom. It was so fresh and delish. I hadn't had poke in a long time but this reminded me how much I loved it before. It was yummy. Im still thinking about it. I got both the spicy tuna and the salmon - two of my faves.

Yelp
Wanted a quick order to go and decided to try this spot and ended up really liking it. It was pretty decent price, lots of options, the workers were fast and polite. It's quite a small spot with only 3 tables to sit at so def probs caters more to go or people eating quickly and leaving as opposed to a nice sit down place. I really liked my bowl and I would come back if in was craving poke at home

Yelp
Sorry to the very helpful and nice lady at the counter, but I wasn't really feeling the quality of the fish. I hesitated ordering most of the items they had and would probably avoid this place. But they seem to have good reviews, so maybe it was just me. Purely on service, I'd say give them a try. But this place was just not for me.

Yelp
Omg I love this place!!! I've been looking for a new spot that delivers since my old fave tanked and this was it! Fresh fish, crispy vegetables, generous sauce and excellent prices. I'm obsessed with this place. The one day they were closed I tried my old fave again and was just disappointed- poke plus does it right!

Yelp
Poke plus is by far the best poke place in Cap Hill in my opinion! I'm not sure why there aren't more people talking about it. I've had it delivered once and thought they were quite generous with the fish and toppings. I went in today to order a bowl to go, and I was very surprised no one was there. Fish quality is amazing, and they have all the toppings I like. It seems like a mom/pop shop, so if you're in the area, go support!

Yelp
This place needs more recognition. It looks like a mom/pop shop, no other workers inside, by what I've seen. 5/5 - Customer service. walked in and was greeted right away. the elder lady who took our order was so nice and patient. I wanted everything but I tried not to be too "complicate" with my order. Lol 5/5 - Food, the fish you can tell is fresh! who like their poke all fishy, i know not me. this place needs more recognition. we ordered their large bowl which consist of 3 scoop of any fish of your choice. I chose spicy salmon, hawaiian classic tuna + salmon for my meat. I asked if I could get half/half (sushi rice + steamed rice) and she agreed o.o of course along with the random add-ons we felt like would go right. If you're around capitol hill, you should definitely check this place out. I deduct one star because it's not the best area, was lowkey sketch. will find myself back for some good 'ol poke craves. even better if they doordash or what not.

Yelp
Wow, I've had a lot of lion king rolls in my life, but this one tops them all! Friendly service, comfortable space, AND I saw the owners love on a customer's dog.. bonus for the dog-friendly business!

Yelp
Love coming here for poke, the owners are a cute older couple that are always there to serve you. By far the most flavorful poke I've had in Seattle.

John S.

Yelp
Very impressive. I'd come back here in a heartbeat! One of the few poke places that actually delivers a spicy sauce. Plenty of toppings, and best of all, pickled ginger tastes homemade (not too sweet).

Lisa S.

Yelp
Excellent poke bowls! Our bowls were piled high with toppings. Love their spicy options. The man and woman (owners?) behind the counter were friendly and kind. We were offered some watermelon by the man. Awesome spot! Would come again!

Ukridge S.

Yelp
Was a regular customer of this place which used to be the best Poke in the city. Over the years, the quality of the ingredients has dropped and the portions are now ridiculously small. An extra large bowl will set you back more than 20$ and leave you marginally less hungry than when you started. FOB Poke bar is a more honest and reliable alternative.
google avatar

Keri N.

Yelp
Glad to know about this poke place! Pretty good prices and good poke with lots of topping/customization options. Service was nice and quick. Portions were good, plenty to be full but noticed the container was a bit thinner. Parking can be a little tricky, we found street parking.

Yelp
THERE ARE WALNUTS IN THE HAWAIIAN STYLE POKE sauce!!!!! It is crushed up or blended in and undetectable. I ordered via DoorDash - This is not disclosed anywhere on the menu and I only found out after eating a bowl of it had me passed out on the floor in the street with a severe allergic reaction last year. I had to be taken away in an ambulance to the ER. I called to let the owners (an old couple) know that they should disclose these things and they brushed me off. Super dangerous and this could have killed me. Most expensive bowl of poke in my life after paying the hospital bills for it. This kind of negligence could KILL SOMEONE and it almost killed me.
google avatar

Yelp
Their salmon is super fresh and yummy! I enjoy the toppings as well that is included! Also appreciate the service as well.

Linda N.

Yelp
This place was sooo delicious! Loved the little crispy bits that they throw on top of the bowls. Also the owners are very sweet humans. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Sweet Poke shop owned by a sweet family! If you're looking to support a local business and are in the mood for a delicious poke bowl, you're in good hands! The serving sizes are very generous and the food is great! The shop is on the smaller end but is very cute and nice for a quick stop

Yelp
Look no further. Classic poke bowl, great flavors. Super convenient if you want something quick and close by

Yelp
There's pro's and con's from my order from here. Pros- -The vegetable and non-fish ingredients are of fairly high quality and taste good. -Price was competitive or even a little lower than other poke places in Seattle. -Everything was fresh Cons- -Portion size was a bit small. -Rice base was almost non-existant compared to most poke places. It was like a single scoop of rice that was flattened and spread out to fill out the bottom of the bowl. -Sauces are very flavorful, but there was so much of it doused onto my bowl it was like eating a salad where someone spilled the bottle of dressing on it. It really comes down to more rice, and less sauce, IMO.

Yelp
I was super skeptical based on the location but ordered take out since it was close. I got the large with three scoops of protein and wow this was an amazing surprise. I got salmon, tuna and spicy salmon and it was so good. The seasoning was perfect and the fish was fresh and delicious. The sides were really good and I enjoyed the seaweed salad a lot. The parking is super easy with parking on the roof, perfect for grabbing an order and it's right off broadway which is easy if you're near public transport. The owners are so nice and sweet and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again!

Yelp
This review is for takeout only. I've never been inside but plan to one of these days when things go back to normal. I am a huge poke fan in general. If there's one thing in this world I could eat all day every day, it would be poke! Thanks to a bit of laziness, I found myself with no food in the fridge. UberEats to the rescue. Poke Plus had popped up near the top in my search so I figured I'd give it a shot. Since I was trying to a bit healthier, I ordered a regular poke bowl with 2 salmon scoops and the daily greens as the base with the house sauce and a bunch of the toppings like seaweed, green onion, red onion, crispy onions (someone has a thing for onions), jalapenos, cilantro, frikake, and chili peppers. When I finally got my order, it did not disappoint! The fish tasted fresh and to be fair, you can't go wrong with salmon! The greens were well doused in dressing which I liked a lot. I'm sure their other base options would have been great too. The one thing I wish I could do next time is split the base into greens and rice, but unfortunately the app doesn't give me that option. I guess that just means I'll have to go in person one of these days! Highly recommend Poke Plus :)

Yelp
Really good poke! I like their spicy salmon with spicy mayo on rice. For toppings I get spicy mayo, crab meat, green onion, seaweed salad, mango, edamame, cucumber, masago, corn, crispy onion, and furikake.

Yelp
Currently my favorite poke place in Seattle! They are fairly generous with the protein servings and I love their Japanese Mayo. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Stopped by on the way home from work today, absolute delicious! I got the small bowl with salmon and sushi rice and all of my favorite toppings, it was simply amazing. They have poke the way I like it, with the raw fish (no sauce on it yet) then they add onions to the mix, and then they mix in the sauce. There was a lot going on in my bowl, so it may have masked the true taste of the sauce, but i still really enjoyed it. The fish was extremely fresh, but it was cut in just a little bit smaller chunks than I'm used to.. but still delicious. They also had kimchi as a topping option, which I enjoyed! There's also kale! It's a nice balance for everything that is going on in the bowl. Secondly, they have this last option where you can add extra sauce. I chose to add the spicy mayo, which the lady preparing my bowl added a very generous portion. I should have stopped her when I saw that she kept going, but it was still good! Next time I'll go lighter on the extra sauce, but it's pretty cool that they have that option. There was five different sauce options, three spicy and two non-spicy. Overall, very fresh and enjoyable. I like that they have white rice and sushi rice. I definitely liked the sushi rice, it really made the difference for me. The small bowl was $9.99 and it packed a punch. Definitely a good portion size! Will definitely come back! It's also right off broadway by the QFC, so easily reachable by many bus lines and the streetcar! :) They also have seating, which is a plus.

Yelp
Ordered through Grubhub just in time for lunch. First time trying them out- pleasantly surprised! They have Kimchi available as a side topping!! It was delicious!! My breath is disgustingy horrific but luckily I'm wearing a mask- so I'm just exposing the smell to myself... Will definitely order again!!

Elli L.

Yelp
Korean style poke! Good prices for the area too. The owners are very sweet and will guide you through any ingredients you aren't familiar with.

Yelp
Stopped in and grabbed a small bowl and some California rolls. Quick, friendly service.

Yelp
I ordered a build-your-own poke bowl and for the price you get so much food and it is so tasty!!! I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Poke N Roll is a small local poke shop in Cap Hill with very competitive pricing: $8.99 for 2 scoops of protein, $11.99 for 3 scoops, $13.99 for 4 scoops. Just like the other poke shops around, you start by ordering your base, which can be white or brown rice, sushi rice, spring mix, or a combination of any. Then, you pick from nine of their proteins. There's tuna, salmon, yellow tail, octopus, spam, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, shrimp, and tofu. The scoops of protein are fair (I've been to some places where the scoops are minuscule so you end up paying more just for more scoops). After the protein, there's a nice variety of toppings that you can pick from for no additional cost (except avocado which is $1). Even crab meat can be added as a topping for free! At the end of your poke bowl building journey, you can select a sauce to top off your bowl. Unsure what to get? They have several chef signature bowls with the contents pre-selected. Poke N Roll also has sushi rolls and sides such as gyoza, kimchi, and shrimp tempura. There are some combo pricing options for sides with poke bowls. The space itself is very small. There's a counter against the window that seats four and then three total tables, each table fitting about four people. I visited with a friend, and we were able to use their free WiFi to get work done while we munched on our poke bowls!

Emily T.

Yelp
I'd like to consider myself a poke connoisseur and this was pretty good! Had a lot of toppings choices and the flavor was pretty good. Would give this place a chance!

Yelp
Visited Poke Plus on Friday for dinner to go. Immediately upon entering we were greeted and noticed the large menu on the wall. I like the style of filling out a card with what you want to order. I noticed the bowls for Poke themselves were pretty small compared to other places. Anyways I got spicy tuna and spicy salmon and both were really good. I got the Japanese mayo but I wasnt a fan so maybe next time I will go with something else. The price is really good especially compared to other places that have raised their prices. If I'm in the area I will return here for a quick bite to eat.

Craig M.

Yelp
Great poke. Really nice couple who owns it that provide great service. Easy to order and quick.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the quality of the fish and the unlimited toppings. My bowl was delicious and the service was great here. All four of us scarfed down our bowls. The owners were also very sweet and helpful especially since it was our first time here! I hope to come back next time we are in Seattle!

Summer V.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Their service is impeccable. They were so sweet and brought my food to my car due to not being able to get out the car.

Yelp
Long overdue review. Since I no longer work on Capitol Hill, I keep thinking about this place. Know the saying, "you never realize what you have until it's gone?" Well only I'm gone and the place remains. So lucky you folks who live or work close to this place because you don't know what you are missing (especially if you haven't tried this place!) I love the a la carte concept and if you don't know what poke is and is extremely apprehensive about ordering the wrong thing, rest assured they have specialty poke bowls that won't make you think! And even if you do, the staff seems so knowledgeable that the higher level thinking is left to remembering where you parked! I've always been afraid of poke because I'm all about texture. Squishy, soft, raw taste is off putting! It's all about the way it's prepared and this was exceptional! I've tried most of the popular specialty bowls and haven't been disappointed. It really depends on whether my palate is for sweet, savory or spicy! Writing this makes me want to quit my job and go work in Capitol Hill again. Almost.
google avatar

Worarit T.

Yelp
Nice lady that was attentive with my order of poke which tasted good but not hawaii style. Price were ok based on the portion and parking is ok
google avatar

Opal D.

Yelp
Food was delicious, fish seems fresh and good quality. The half sushi rice, half salad, large (3 scoop) bowl was *just* barely enough food for me and I'm not a large person. The food came in a rectangular clamshell instead of a lidded bowl, which somehow threw me off since it's a poké bowl... doesn't affect taste though, so whatever! Would absolutely get food from them again!
google avatar

Susanne T.

Yelp
Really great Poke bowl! Generous portions, less expensive than other similar places, nice friendly people. Wish I lived in Seattle so I could go here often.
google avatar

Candace M.

Yelp
You can tell a place is good quality by the rice! Big rolls for amazing price points! Not everything is on the menu board! Feel free to ask

Patricia T.

Yelp
I ordered a small poke bowl which was advertised as having 2 scoops of protein. I'd say that there was barely 1.5 scoops. While they were quite generous with the portion of rice, everything else was given sparingly. As a result, I was left with a lot of leftover rice with nothing to eat it with. The taste was good and the owners were courteous, but the portions could have been better.
google avatar

Vivian W.

Yelp
This is my go to poke place when I'm at work. I've gone a handful of times and every time the poke has been good. The man and woman who work behind the counter are super cute and friendly. The fish has always been high quality and I've been super full off the regular bowl (2 scoops). I usually get the classic Hawaiian tuna or classic Hawaiian salmon and spicy tuna or salmon. Both are super yummy. I also like their plethora of toppings to customize my bowl. Definitely my fave poke place in Capitol Hill!

Yelp
Food : 3/5 Ambience : 3/5 Service : 2/5 Price : 4/5 My first try at poke, a chipotle-style Japanese influenced dish from Hawaii. I am a vegetarian so I opted for the 'make your own poke' and got a regular sized bowl with tofu as my protein of choice. Their scooper for tofu was cross-contaminated with some orange colored fish-like thing (argghh , why-o-why ) so I pointed that out to the server .. he washed the scooper, but i could clearly see that there was some of it in the tofu container mixed in with the rest of the tofu. Anyway I didn't want to walk out as my colleague had already gotten her bowl. There were a lot of vegetarian toppings to choose from, so that was good. Overall my poke tasted alright, nothing out of the ordinary. However the servers were curt and had a very cold vibe .. and this is when there was no other customer in line after me. It's a very small place with limited seating .. not good for groups. The food is reasonably priced though, for capitol hill area. I paid around 10.50$ for a regular sized poke.

Yelp
While walking around cap hill, I was a little hungry after a few beers at Redhook Brewery and since this spot was across the street, I decided to give it a try without any prior knowledgde or information about this spot. Turns out its a new-ish poke shop run by a super friendly and warm Korean couple. Contrary to normal poke shops, the owner was VERY generous with the toppings (edamame, roe, seaweed salad, cucumber, fried garlic, corn, etc...) and he was super willing to give me more and it seemed like he wast going to stop, unless it got ridiculous. The quality of the fish itself was average, but the sauces were very well done and overall, the poke bowl was amazing and super filling for the price. It's the BEST feeling when your bowl has to be compressed down with a lid before its handed to you. I've been getting all my friends to try this spot and I haven't heard 1 bad review yet. I'd definitely come back to get more poke, but I will also try the sushi they have to offer eventually. Do yourself a favor and come to this spot! You wont regret it.

Yelp
Great portions per value. Flavor and topping choices are great, I recommend the Hawaiian style tuna or salmon. Spicy options are actually spicy. Very straightforward poke joint and such nice staff!
google avatar

Britt H.

Yelp
The owner asked me if I had money and when I asked why he said because he thought something was wrong with me so he wanted to see if I was okay. Then he forgot my soda with my order and I was charged again. Also, the food was tasteless. Please don't patronize this business. Needless to say I won't be coming back here again.
google avatar

Jenna P.

Yelp
Solid poke place! I looooove their Korean Spicy bowl (8.99$), and as a Korean I can say they are legit. The sauce is always on point, and the portion size is generous for the price. The owners are a wife and husband, and they are so sweet. Also they are dog friendly which is huge plus! I bring my dogs (one big, one smaller size) when I order to-go's and the owners are always friendly and happy to see my fur babies. I have been most of poke places in Seattle, and I can easily say they are the best. P.S..they make their own Kimchi..SO DELICIOUS. I would come here just to pick up their Kimchi alone.

Wanlee Y.

Yelp
The couples that runs this place is so sweet! The poke was delicious and great portions. One of the best poke I've ever had!
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Delicious, fast and no fuss! This is what I think Poke should be. I orderer three scoops of protein (vegetarian style) and got rice for the base, lots of tofu and most of the delicious toppings and sauces. I absolutely loved it! It was sooo filling and huge proportions and I took my time, savored it and finished everything. I posted it on my Instagram stories and it got some attention! Who can resist a good Poke bowl? I am excited to visit this place and sit down and enjoy a meal soon and try other things on the menu - the other reviews on here have me looking forward to it!

Josh C.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Cute small mom and pop Poké place. This beats out the others in this neighborhood for sure.
