We stopped by Pokewors and it was amazing! Yordi took care of us and the service was incredible. We tried one of their hot dishes and one of their classic bowls both were simply outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
2nd time getting food here and it’s such a different quality and taste than the ones down south. Disappointed that the spam musubi was this dry and over cooked again. Will not get from this location if I can stand it. I recommend the Poke works on south Congress and the best one is near Ben white

I've been trying several different Poke places in Austin, and I finally settled on Pokeworks. Poke from Pokeworks has been my treat for myself every Friday! It's nearby my place and clean. Freddie and James have been very friendly. Most of all, I've never felt like they're trying to save ingredients - while all ingredients look and taste fresh!

Google
Excellent service. The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were great for the cost of a bowl. We did our own custom two ingredient bowls. Will be visiting again in the near future.

Google
As a poke fanatic who loves trying different spots around town, I have to say, this place is a MUST! It might have just become one of my favorite poke spots. I built my own bowl with all my favorite ingredients and was really impressed with the variety of fresh selections. The tuna and salmon were incredibly fresh, with no fishy taste at all! Just perfect! Needless to say, I’ll definitely be back soon and highly recommend it

Google
Amazing food, quick, healthy, and fresh! Jaime who manages/works there is the man and super friendly!

Google
I love poke and this place did a good job! Since they are a bit newer, it was very clean and we were the only ones there around dinner time. I love the abundance of toppings as well as the fresh fish. They have some unique toppings like soft tofu and peanuts. There's plenty of parking in the lot. I'll be back and perhaps bring a group of people since there's a lot of seating.

Do not order from this location - Anderson Ln! Just had really bad food poisoning. Echoing another reviewer the salmon I received in my order had an extremely metallic taste. The entire bowl also smelled like the food was rotting and only took a few bites before having to toss everything. I love Pokeworks but c’mon :( never coming to this location again. I ordered through Doordash pickup, who refused a refund. I’m not sure if there’s a way I could at least get a refund or credit from the directly? I’m a frequent Pokeworks customer and never had this poor experience with food quality.

Yelp
I thought this was ass tbh. I've been eating poke in San Diego for a few months and I guess I may have been spoiled there. The sauce was just not good, the rice was stale, the pineapple was hard as a rock. The shrimp was crunchy, the salmon was ok. I'm really disappointed. Just threw most of it out. 2 stars bc the salmon and the cucumbers were fresh and it was packaged nicely for delivery. *Update from a few hours later I haven't left the toilet I knew there was something off. Help me

Yelp
It's usually a "hit or miss" with any "cafeteria style" spot. I've tried the burrito style (which they usually stuff with a shit ton of rice, like more rice than anything. I tried it as a salad and a rice bowel. But I will say the protein is always fresh and delicious (I only get the raw fish, never tried anything cooked) So with that being said...depending on who's working that day, the time and their mood is what you'll get. I'll add the photos as I find them to explain what I mean. Sometimes they "hook you up" like they're making it for themselves and sometimes they put your shit together like it's coming out of their check..... SN: I've only ordered through delivery so I can't speak on the actual customer service. Except for one time when I preordered and picked up and it was late and you could definitely tell the ladies were ready to clock out and go home‍

Yelp
Ignored the bad reviews and took a chance, now contributing to the bad reviews. Ordered poke bowl for takeout and I got maybe 2 pieces of salmon and shrimp. For a $18 poke bowl, UP YOUR PORTIONS. Honestly embarrassing how small of a portion I received. Don't order from here, they skimp on portions and the sauce was soupy. Worst poke bowl I've ever had. Very disappointed.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place! I had tried to order a signature bowl but I guess the staff didn't hear me. The music is kinda loud in there. I got raw tuna which is not my typical go to for poke but it was surprisingly tasty. I don't really remember what I ordered but I enjoyed the food. One of the better poke places I've had in Austin

Yelp
Decent poke option, but doesn't compare with some other options in Austin. Good if it's the only thing open to in close proximity to you. They do offer a good selection of toppings and the fish tasted fairly fresh. However, fish was a little on the tougher side and the portions were smaller for the price. I do like that they had a lot of spicy topping options.

Yelp
Great food, pretty below average service. I walked in and waited for a pickup order but I don't think I've ever walked into a restaurant and just stood there with no one paying attention to me for 10 minutes. I only assumed the order they were working on was mine but if it wasn't that would have gotten awkward. I wish they at least said hi. That said, poke is fresh and plentiful. I like the ahi tuna as it's cubed perfectly and the original pokeworks sauce is good go medium as heavy truly is heavy. Add whatever you want for your hearts content otherwise.

Yelp
Excellent poke, fresh tasting, good variety of ingredients and sauces, I had lobster as a pro Tien for a limited time which was a treat. Reasonably priced in my opinion for what you get. Place appeared to be clean and the service was efficient, although I could not say they were welcoming or eager to please. Frankly, the servers were completely ambivalent, seemed like they might like working somewhere else, instead of here. The food was a five star. The service was a two star. Thus, the three star rating.

Yelp
Pokeworks is overall a great place to eat, but here are my thoughts!: 1. The fish is best raw, I found torching my salmon made the dish lose some of its freshness! 2. The Sweet shoyu is fantastic! Perfect flavor to build on with spice (Sriracha and sriracha mayo!) 3. Don't get "heavy" sauce - trust me. It's WAY too much. 4. Definitely get the surimi salad, it just adds SO much 5. If you get avocado, you can definitely split it with someone else! their portion is generous for a poke bowl, in my opinion Definitely glad this place is close by for easy, healthy dinners!

Yelp
I'm a Pokeworks regular (at the Riverside location) but was in North Austin so I stopped by this location for the first time! I was excited since they have milk tea which the Riverside location doesn't have. Perhaps it's for the best that milk tea isn't served across all locations because this was honestly the worst boba milk tea I have purchased from a restaurant. I ordered the taro milk tea and the cashier who took my order seemed hesitant after I ordered it and went to the back to presumably talk to a coworker for advice on it. After a couple minutes, I received my drink and was shocked about the quality of the boba pearls. They were hard and many were not round. Surprised the tea was even served to me since I'm sure the pearls looked abnormal before they were poured into the cup. The tea itself was fine. If the pearls were good I still probably wouldn't have purchased the tea again. No complaints about my poke bowl. Good as usual. This experience with the milk tea was unusually bad though that I feel discouraged from Pokeworks for a bit.

Yelp
Please wear a hairnet. Or a hat. Or both. The worst feeling is being half way through with your food, and fishing out a long black hair from inside your mouth mixed with the food you've been chewing. Please wear a hairnet. It's disgusting.

Yelp
Stopped here after the gym -- everyone was super nice and food came out quick and delicious! I loved the zucchini noodles and brown rice.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Just arrived at 5:22 to pick up my order that stated 5:16 on the confirmation. When I walked in everyone stared at me. I returned the warm greeting with I'm here to pick up an order. The 3 men standing there looked at each other and around and one finally asked for my name. They finally realized that they had not reviewed online orders. He then printed the ticket and went to make the food. Leaving with what I hope is the right order. Oh wait, there's no avocado, even though I was charged 1.50$

Yelp
Solidified that poke house is the real poke king today! Ordered this beautiful lobster bowl. Nice lobster chunks. What I got was the full bait and switch! Very sad they moved into the neighborhood and not a better poke option. Picture below shows the ad Vs the actual ‍‍

Yelp
Not my favorite poke bowl. Ordered "heavy" flavor but it was very dry, could barely taste the sauce. Fish was a little chewy and cut unevenly.

Yelp
I love this place. It is The best poke in town. Ambiance: Clean and accessible Service: Excellent Food: Fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I was so excited when I found out a Pokeworks was opening in Allandale! Like every other pokeworks location, it's impossible for it to be bad. The line moved so quickly, the workers were kind, and lots of gluten free options! Unfortunately none of the bowls on the menu are gluten free, but build your own is fine by me. A new regular stop for sure

Yelp
I really like this place a lot.I was not a fan of the cauliflower rice so I won't get that again. The last time I learned that I don't like seaweed in my poke. The service was very good and accommodating. I liked the corn and cucumbers, and the sweet onions. The avocado and seafood salad was excellent. The cauliflower rice was spicy but I liked the basic sauce because it did not have any spice. I liked the fact that they donate money to charity.

Yelp
Ordered pickup. Drove up, grabbed my food, left. It was easy. Food was delicious. Food is always delicious.

Paul L.

Yelp
Been here a few times and the poké is always fresh. Service is hit or miss at this location. The place is clean and generally quiet. Still looking for a place that has a good musubi, hard to find in this town. Anyway that's my 2 cents

Dylan D.

Yelp
I agree that it is below average customer service. People working there don't seem happy and it shows in the preparation of the food. I believe on DoorDash you can order 3 proteins in a bowl but when I got to the restaurant I was told I can only have 2 proteins. The sushi burrito is also mediocre because it's just a mushy pile of food when you open to eat it because it's not closed all the way but not sure if that's the intention. The price for a burrito, milk tea, and bowl is about $50 which is also not worth

James B.

Yelp
Had a delivery order that came without all the menu items we selected - called to ask what happened and manager merary was so great to us - made our order complete and was very friendly and customer happiness oriented. Will def go back! P.S. went in person again and establishment is very clean

Yelp
The place is nice and clean and the Poke was fresh. Kind of a language barrier when ordering but it's all good. The only issue I had was the hot rice with Poke and that seems to be an Austin thing. PLEASE STOP SERVING HOT RICE WITH POKE! Rice should be room temp to warm at best. Have you ever been served a hot tuna roll?? I didn't think so....

Torey V.

Yelp
Ordered online for pickup. Got two Ahi (aka, tuna) bowls. They were delicious and satisfying. The online program to Customize our bowls was easy to use and the variations offered are numerous. We both tried Lobster as a protein and it was delightful. The Spicy Tuna was not too spicy, just zingy. We could choose LIght or Medium amount for the toppings and we got excellent, generous versions of our choices, one Light and one Medium. The selection of additional condiments and toppings were great. We loved the Umami Shoyu, Ponzu and Chile Lime sauces. The bowls were ready in 15 minutes as promised. Will go back soon!

Ben B.

Yelp
The poke bowl was just okay. It was a lot of food for the price, though, which is good. Inside smelled pretty bad...

Archit G.

Yelp
Worst poke I've had in austin. Flavors are just not right. Same with the musubi. Also Fish not fresh at all. Pokehouse is substantially better

Leucir M.

Yelp
Delicious! I love the options and the house's secret sauce!!! I've been in all stores and the service quality is great.

Yelp
