Eater Bowl Bowl Bracket: Panda Express vs. Panera Bread | Eater

"While the simplest bowls here can approximate what you find in Hawai‘i, the menu often veers into excessive, deconstructed choices that separate protein and sauce rather than letting flavors marry; critics view much of the offering as treating poke like an aspirational health-food assembly instead of the unpretentious, soulful Hawaiian dish it should be." - Erin DeJesus

The portions are definitely shrinkflated. What used to be a full, satisfying bowl now feels skimpy—less protein, fewer toppings, but higher prices. I paid $19 for a 2-protien bowl that was essentially a snack.

Today I ordered one poke salad with 3 proteins and a poke bowl with 3 proteins. I left 15% tips also because we decided to dine in instead of walking for another 20 mins back home. They packed my food directly like it was a to go order.. anyway we got our food and then we decided to walk back home and eat. We should have checked our food before leaving but it was too late. We got home, we opened the pack, only to find out that they made me the wrong food—both were rice bowls, 3 protains looked like nothing, and the fact was, I spent over fifty bucks for food that looked FAR FROM APPEALING— all ingredients only covered half of the rice, crispy toppings are both wrong, everything looked like a leftover. So I went back, returned the food that I didn’t even opened, and I will check in a few days and see if my refund is issued. What a waste of time tonight! I just wanted to have some easy healthy food after a day of hard work, nothing more. What a disappointment! The guy who helped me issue refund was nice, he is probably the manager. But whoever works for him should learn how to be responsible for their work, and how to be respectful to their customers. Clearly it’s not the manager’s fault that the food was wrong, but he was the one facing customers; other people acted like it’s nothing to do with them. Interesting. ———- Quick update: refund is issued

You can tell the ingredients used are fresh, including the seafood. The staff offered fast friendly attentive service ! I got their new Huli huli chicken hot plate, highly recommend! The mac salad is delicious 🤤👌🏼

I regularly order here whenever I'm craving for poke. I've never had any problem until today. I ordered all salmon regular bowl but I got all tuna instead. I don't like tuna so I can't even finish it.

Order inside - sit outside and experience the upbeat vibes of Castro Street in Mt View. Pokeworks has excellent quality seafood and poultry and all essential ingredients to enjoy in your desired Poke bowl. Delicious dressings to add an extra punch of flavor. Soups, Spam Masubi, Sushiritos, Edamame, chips, desserts and beverages as well. Order inside at the register or use their contactless touch screen. It was my first time at Pokeworks tonight and definitely coming back!

Google
I absolutely love Pokeworks in Mountain View! It’s such a gem on Castro Street, where it can be tough to find affordable options. You can enjoy a delicious meal for under $20, which is a rarity in this area. The food is fresh and tasty, the portions are generous, and the staff is always super friendly. Highly recommend checking it out!

Google
9/16/24 I start at 5 stars and drop if needed. The rice was a 0 out of 5 for me. It was like proper calrose rice look and feel on the immediate outside but like raw when you bit into it. The lady on the other table also did not touch her rice I assume for the same reason. Cute they had the Hawaiian Sun line here. I was born in Hawaii and grew up on Guam. So I'd like to say - for Poke bowls I'm a good judge of what is the standard requirements for a decent bowl. Volcano bowl is indeed SUPER spicy. I did finish mine as I like spice but this was at my upper limit but it is called "volcano" lol. If you want the spice level - it's there but flavor and rice quality really make this thing really unappetizing. I finish my food, being Filipino, but I can see most people throwing this away or having to heavily modify and or fix it. The "Large 3 proteins" genuinely looked like it wasn't even done. Bit disappointing The poke place on Santana Row by Smitten is worlds above this spot for sure. 3 star for service as the girl at the counter was quite welcoming. I ordered this after signing up for their rewards and placing the order. I got a text it was ordered and had an order # - never a text it was ready. Atmosphere is really only due to Castro St having seating in their closed off road. I'll come back another day to try another featured bowl but your $24 is better spent somewhere else. You can get a great sit-down meal at Eureka for this price.

Google
Thank you for amazing poke at the Mountain View location. Mayra who helped make my meal extra special by being attendtive and double checking my order. The food is fresh and always delicious! I now go here regularly. Thank you for your great customer service, David, and your hard work supporting your staff with my order. I truly appreciate such a great experience with staff and your poke is amazing!

Yelp
this place revived my love for "chipotle style order your way" pokebowls (i was into them in the 2010s when it was the new craze). their options and ingredients are great! every bowl ive made has been tasty have yet to try their hot plates or burritos but maybe in the near future! the employees are really nice and never found an issue. i recall recently where they had a couple of catering orders and on top of that bombarded with so many other individual customers- people were getting their order tickets printed out, etc- and they all kept their cool while trying to acknowledge each customer; employees apologized for the wait and the other inconveniences they were facing that day. great professionalism!!! i recommend creating an account on the app if you frequent this spot (they have lil deals almost every week and you accumulate points!) there is an ordering kiosk too on site or you can order old school but the app is what i found convenient as the store is pretty small and can get crowded. if you want to eat nearby there are plenty of outdoor tables dedicated to pokeworks

Yelp
The poke is pretty good and very fresh! I really enjoyed the sauces- as they were a bit different from other poke places. The service was also great, they gave me extra sauces when I asked for. The shop itself is very small with limited seating, but still clean and efficient.

Yelp
Ohoho, a solid create your own poke bowl spot on Castro! I ate in during lunch time and it got packed fast from lunch rush. Even then, service was fast and checked in frequently on every table. When eating in, you eat outside on Castro street which can get pretty lively. The food is pretty good. Great flavors and a lot of interesting options that make me want to come back.

Yelp
Ordered via a tablet screen, enjoyed the option to pick my own toppings and view all the options. A couple things I'm guessing they were out of some toppings that I selected but it was still a tasty meal. Ordered to go (since I figured I wouldn't finish) and sat outside

Yelp
5 years later and even though there has been many changes to the menu (please bring back lotus chips!) throughout the years, it is still by far our favorite poke place in the area. The service there is always wonderful as the people working there are always so nice and helpful. The poke is absolutely delicious and doesn't compare to other poke places around. Highly recommend if you're in the downtown MV area and are in the mood for a quick delicious meal! There is no sit down area inside so little ambiance indoors, but plenty of chairs outside for you to enjoy your meal if you don't want to takeout and eat at home. FYI if you have your old poke punch card, bring it in and they will give you a really nice discount on your order! They have stopped giving the cards out and everything is online now with their app.

Yelp
The food was great. I added the north Atlantic seasoned lobster to my poke bowl, but they gave me 1/4 of a teaspoon of lobster not a scoop like you would get with salmon or tuna. I was really disappointed by that. They also missed a couple of toppings like sweet corn, shredded kale, pineapple. A bit concerning if they do not follow the order. The portion is definitely smaller than last time. And the wasabi tasted fake. Seems like they have changed the wasabi compared to last year when I came here. There seasoning is always good though. Love there house sauce and ponzu. There service is good. You can place your order in the self service kiosk and they will automatically print out your receipt. The place is very small, but there are plenty of tables outside where you can dine. The ambiance of the place is nice and cute. I am not sure if I would come here again given how small of a portions they gave (especially with the lobster and the toppings).

Yelp
If I'm paying $20 for a bowl of poke it better be good and thank god it was! I'm a pokeworks enthusiast and I'm so glad the quality still holds in MTV. The cashier/ server on Friday at 6:00 PM was a gem, he was so sweet and packed my bowl upon my request. Although I wish they had spicy tuna/salmon protein option here, I'm still happy with my bowl and it kept me satisfied for the rest of the night. I will definitely be returning whether it is for lunch or dinner on my work trip.

Yelp
It's self order over here but the workers are very nice. You get so so much in your poke bowl!!

Yelp
Small shop compared to the one I go to in Irvine occasionally but it was consistent so nice to know it seems to stay the same store to store. Parking in this location can be found behind the shops at the free 2 hour parking public lot. Came in here on 3/9 in the afternoon and the employee who took my order was very nice and friendly. He was also generous with portions which we all appreciate considering the price. Thank you!

Yelp
Honestly a little disappointed. Order was slightly wrong as I missed half of my base and the bowl was just sad to look at. I'm a bit spoiled with fresh fish in Seattle so there may be strong bias and my standards for poke may not reflect the average San Francisco experience. Spicy Ahi with Half Rice and Half Salad - actually just half rice and no salad. The amount of rice was a bit pathetic. Fish wasn't super fresh. Masago roe was stuck together, almost frozen and also firm. Disappointed a bit overall but it's a good snack with the amount, I guess. Hawaiian Classic with Half Rice and Half Salad - they got the half and half right but the bowl still tasted lowish quality and was pretty small at the price point.

Rushani L.

Yelp
So I don't really think the poke was really my taste I felt that some of the fish in my yuzu ponzu salmon wasn't very fresh and I couldn't really taste the yuzu and with the cilantro i felt it over powering the flavors. Maybe instead of using cilantro i think you should cut it out of the recipe or reduce it and try and add more yuzu.

Yelp
Good location, lot's of great food around! This place was not great. The toppings are not bad, and there's an ok number of options to choose from, but the one thing I couldn't get over was the rice. It reminds me of the rice from my college dining hall.... that rice was not so great either... There's plenty of poke places, would recommend Poke House in Palo Alto instead if you have a craving for poke.

Yelp
Great experience with very prompt and friendly service. Ordered the small Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl, which had fresh ahi tuna and flavorful ingredients. Thank you for satisfying my poke craving and then some!

Yelp
My friends and I got poke delivered from here recently. There was an issue with DoorDash on the delivery but the manager David Castañeda was super helpful and got it resolved really quickly. He made sure to take care of the customer which I appreciated and will be back now.

Yelp
My friend treated me to lunch today. I chose this place because I wanted something semi healthy. I found 2hour street parking right next to this place. We used the kiosk to enter our order and went outside to wait. We waited and waited and waited. Wow! Maybe they had to go fishing to catch the fish or something! We waited for approximately 30 minutes for two bowls of poke and another 7 minutes for a musubi. I have never waited that long after placing my order at a poke place. Wow... So my poke bowl had spicy salmon and spicy tuna and a bunch of other topping. I chose half brown rice and half salad. The fish itself was ok, some pieces were chewy. Not the freshest fish around. Taste wise everything was ok. Miso was nice on a chilly day. I was curious about this place for a while. Finally got to try it but I am not in a rush to come back.

Yelp
After emailing their support due to a poor experience my first time trying their food, I was able to receive two free vouchers for a poke entree. I really appreciated how they were able to reach out to make my second experience better; they're also super quick to respond via email. I came in person to redeem these vouchers and it was my first time seeing the actual store. There's no indoor seating inside, but the numerous areas for outdoor dining available in DT Mountain View make up for it. You could order via a kiosk, or up front at the register. After ordering, they make your order in the back. I ordered two large poke bowls, both with two salmon and one tuna as the proteins. The quality of the salmon was much better than it was my initial time. It was a lot fattier and fresher in flavor. The tuna was good but a couple of bites were super chewy for some reason. I usually like when my poke is heavy on the sauce and they certainly didn't disappoint in that aspect when I had requested the sauce be heavy lol. I'd recommend the sweet shoyu and the sriracha aioli if you're looking for a kick! Thank you Pokeworks for making my second visit exceptionally better!
google avatar

Conroy J.

Yelp
The service is great! My bowls are always made to order, even as I often do have specific requests on proteins and toppings, having a flexitarian/pescatarian diet. The workers are also very friendly. The food is delicious, fresh, and healthy! This particular store is small, and there isn't a dine-in option, per se, so not much to say about ambiance besides efficient and clean. Downtown Mountain View, in general, is still employing the very mindful and personal breathing space friendly street dining experience from the immediate post-sheltering days, so that is the "dine-in" or "dine-just-outside" experience.
google avatar

Nat P.

Yelp
This place was great! I had the poke bowl with salmon and tuna and it was delicious! Packaged well and wasn't messy. Would come back again!
google avatar

Carolyn D.

Yelp
Pokeworks is a hole in the wall poke place in the middle of castro. Even though I came late at night, the ahi tuna was still fresh and delicious. They have fresh fruit options like mandarin and pineapple which made the bowl more healthy and refreshing. The only thing is that the portions are pretty small. I wasn't full after a regular bowl. I do love how automated everything was with the self order stands in front and the shelf they have for people to easily pick up online orders. Seems like a lot more people do online orders than walk ins. Parking can also be difficult since its downtown.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. Every time I go there I always get the miso soup and I've tried one of their bowls and one it's awesome. I love how you can order and they will bring it to you. The workers are always nice. The whole place has a nice vibe over all. It gives off modern, to-go vibes

Yelp
[IN A NUTSHELL] weird salmon texture, small scoops, the portion for price is a no [VERDICT] - NOT APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] I honestly have high hopes for poke shops. I think it's an understanding that you can't really go wrong with poke except maybe the price, but other than that the poke should be great... but that was not the case for this place. Oh man, the price for the poke was not worth and not only that but the salmon tasted so weird and I can not describe the texture of it (more on that below). The only up side was that there was free seaweed salad. [SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 3/5 * Poke Bowl Large [3 Scoops of Protein] $16.25 (3/5) -Sadness... I honestly have no words... the salmon had this weird texture that did not taste like normal salmon. It also tasted like an in between of cooked and raw salmon and I honestly can not explain how it was not the greatest. The sauce was also really light granted they asked how heavy you want the sauce and I said normal. And I usually do not like to compare the price against the food, but this time I really do not think it's worth especially when I can get 4 scoops of protein for the price I paid for this bowl. It is unfortunate but I should've known seeing that it was 3.5 stars on yelp. [SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE] (not reflected upon review score): Service was super good... Their system for giving out your order is super interesting and I'm not sure if it was because I cam closer to closing, but basically they don't call your name and they leave your bowl in a bag on this shelf. So I stood there with my friend for awhile until I decided to check the shelf. The cashier was super nice and I think she was new but overall good service it just took awhile to get our food. There is also great seating outside (none inside). [TIME STAMP] JUNE 2021 **I also apologize for my picture, I went during the night time and it was super dark.

Yelp
Located in downtown, as always parking is a bit annoying and difficult to find. When I arrived, there were no customers. I believe there were only 3 people working. I ordered the Hawaiian Ahi (4/5): I requested for light flavoring yet I still felt like the flavor was overwhelming. The price also seemed a bit too expensive. I know poke is usually expensive but the price to food ratio seemed small. Google/apple pay is accepted. Overall Pokeworks is pretty good. It's a small place and manages to serve satisfactory food. I would come back here.

Yelp
After ordering from here through door dash a few times, I just want to say that their service is so inconsistent and it's unacceptable. The last time I order from here before today, the food was just not great and a friend of mine had a stomach ache due to the quality. I thought maybe it was just a bad day but then, I ordered literally 10 hours before they opened earlier today, I ordered three large poke burritos and they only came with one. On the receipt, it even says three so I don't understand why they would think I'm paying $65 for one large poke burrito. I definitely do not recommend coming to this place, you would be disappointed after every time you order from here so I advise you guys to avoid this place at all cost.
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
There are so many poke options on doordash that it can quickly become confusing and overwhelming. We decided to give this place a try due to proximity and good reviews. Got the regular bowel with 2 proteins (ahi and salmon), lots of add-ons and the classic sauce on the side. In terms of the ordering process, I really liked the ability to customize the amount of sauce as well as to have the sauce on the side. I was also glad that the options were a bit more limited than other poke places (I get major decision fatigue when there are too many choices). I also liked that seaweed salad and crab salad are free. Food wise, everything tasted super fresh! No fishy taste at all. You can tell that the fish is good quality. The sauce was nice and tangy. I loved the crab salad and soft tofu - never had this in poke before but it worked! The portions are not huge but also not skimpy. My bf and I actually shared this bowl. All in all very solid place. Maybe one of the best, if not the best, poke place I've been to in the Bay. Will def be back! P.S. the only annoying thing is that I initially tried to order via their app for the $5 off your first order. But the app is super glitchy and the reward didn't show up. I tried several times before giving up. That's my only gripe... But the food more than made up for it!
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
Surprisingly disappointed. The sushirittos are tiny. My bowl wasn't filled up all the way even though I had a number of toppings and sides. I barely had any tofu, corn, maybe 3 pieces of pineapple. Plus the brown rice was so hard I had to ask for another bowl of it. Worst brown rice I ever had in my life. They are pretty stingy with their sides even though it's advertised as unlimited toppings. I prefer places that make the bowls in front of you because you can see how much is being added in front of your eyes. Forgot our waters. What a mess. The only thing properly stocked in the bathroom was soap. Had to grab toilet paper and paper towels from the cabinet. Would not come back, would not recommend.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
Every time I try a new poke place, always am disappointed. This was the case with Pokeworks. A regular bowl with salmon/tuna with mixed greens was ehhhh. Instead of mixed greens it was just romaine lettuce. There weren't many toppings given for corn, ginger, onion etc. So many other poke places to try and discover.
google avatar

Austin H.

Yelp
Each and every time I've ordered from Pokeworks, I end up satisfied and happy. What more could I ask for! Unlike many of the other poke places around me, Pokeworks is consistent each time and always give a full bowl (if not overflowing). I typically order one of the "build your own" options as I can choose exactly what I want (thats not to say their preset bowls are bad in anyway). Here is my typical order in case any of you want to try something new: Base: White Rice Proteins: Ahi Tuna, Salmon Mix-ins: Cucumber, Sweet Onion, Corn, Edamame, Seaweed Flavor: Umami Shoyu Toppings: Avocado, Sesame Crunch: Everything Overall, great service, top quality ingredients, and fantastic food. I'll always be a loyal customer of Pokeworks!
google avatar

Kanksha P.

Yelp
I went here around 11am on a weekday and ordered on the monitors in-store. My wait was around 25 minutes for my bowl, but I noticed customers that placed orders before me still didn't have their food. The bowl I got had tuna and salmon and both were very fresh! There were some toppings and things in there that I didn't include in my order which wasn't a huge deal to me, but could be a red flag if you're allergic to certain ingredients. The place itself is a small building in Castro and while there is some outdoor seating, most people just take their food to-go. Personally I think there are better poke options in South Bay so I wouldn't define this is a must try spot and I wouldn't come here again.
google avatar

Stephen K.

Yelp
Finding poke around the Mountain View/Los Altos area is quite a challenge, but happened to stumble upon this quaint little establishment on Castro St. I'm no stranger to poke, and can say that the food here is adequate at best. I made my own bowl with 3 proteins (but they only gave me 2!). The protein selections are ok, but lack any flavor. Mixing sauces is an additional cost, and for the initial base price of a 3 protein bowl, you'd figured they could splash some other sauce into the mix. The value is sub-par, perhaps impacted by the 2022 financial state... but to put it in perspective, I paid almost $20 for a tiny bowl of poke - and missing an order of protein to boot. 1 star off for the value 1 star off for the lackluster flavor of the fish

Yelp
Door Dash this place every week!! Love the food the fish always tastes fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I wish I could give a 0. I almost never write reviews. 1sr of all they don't accept cash . 2nd of all they ask for a 15% automatically with zero service. I wanted to give 10% cash but it was 0 or 15%. So zero. My friend chose Dine In & put her table# & her food was left by the front door. And no one called our name. She waited 20mins. We saw the cashier girl serving multiple other ppl their food but not us. After waiting & waiting our food came out. Presentation was lovely . So excited to eat. 2 out of 3 of our bowls were saltyAF. Like literally tastes like my kidneys are shutting down. 2 sauces easily could have used 1/2 the salt they put in. The 3 out of 3rd bowl was so bland there was absolutely NO flavor what-so-ever. Good portions So after all that fucking salt. I went to go ask for 3 cups of water. This is thee most disgusting part. I hope the owner is reading this. I'm pretty sure this is against some health code. The dishwasher was doing his job, they asked him to move over. He moved they proceeded to fill up 2 big cups of dishwashing water and tried to hand it to me. When I asked if they have water from a filter water system. They looked @ me & acted so aggravated by a customers request. Will NEVER COME BACK HERE EVER AGAIN. Probably the worst poke place I've eaten out of 100s of poke bowls in my life. Wow. Disappointing

Yelp
Tried Poke Works recently, and I'm hooked! The poke bowls are bursting with freshness and flavor. The staff is friendly. If you're into poke, give this place a shot it won't disappoint!

Yelp
I went in to this particular restaurant because they were making plant based spam musubi! I'd seen these recipes all over social media and I was eager to try them for myself. I went in to order them, and the kiosk in their store made it easier to order. The musubi was done differently than I would have envisioned but it was tasty. I have ordered food from this establishment via door dash and it was okay but not life changing. My current rating only speaks to the availability of this place as an option but not quite the option that I would jump to. I definitely think you should try it for yourself!
google avatar

Itzel F.

Yelp
Adding my second review after 2 years to say that this place is my go to every Friday and the quality + flavor is always great! Special thanks to Gustavo for preparing the bets bowls!
google avatar

Lydia L.

Yelp
The food quality was as good as usual, but they only gave me two proteins instead of the three I ordered. In addition, they missed several toppings (sweet corn, Serrano pepper, etc.). In the takeout bag I found a matcha KitKat. I wonder if that's what they do to make up for missing ingredients... but I'd rather get the $3 + tax refund...
google avatar

Marcus L.

Yelp
Great food always. Whether I order takeout or dine in, it's always solid and poke hardly goes wrong.

Yelp
The store is small with no seating but the food is pretty good, byo poke bowls and they fill it up

Yelp
Fast and delicious. Good outdoor seating. Service is friendly. Overall solid experience.

Yelp
The worst poke iv ever had. It was very old and the fish tasted fishy! I ubereats it. It was not good. I dont recommend

Yelp
I ordered a small bowl, with salmon and ahi tuna. The fish was very fresh and toppings were vibrant!

Yelp
calm little atmosphere always fresh and almost no wait time usually spicy ahi bowl is my favorite everything here is good

Yelp
Don't mind the one-star, I actually love the poke-rittos here. I've gone to lunch here multiple times because I'm local to the area and I've also doordashed it several times! Came here Saturday night and caught some serious attitude. Pokeworks closes at 9, my friend and I walked in at 8:40. And man, did I look like a fool. I recommended my co-worker this place and was talking this place UP. And almost immediately caught some attitude. I get it, you guys close at 9. But if we're doing closing stuff at 8:40 then lock the door, lol. Don't be open... when you're closing. Two girls in front, both cleaning. I worked at a poke place in high school and I'm aware of the procedures, throw the scoops in the water basket, whatever. I do remember we should get pretty pissed management if we even did that 2 minutes before the doors were locked. So if you're doing closing procedures (wrapping food, washing scoops, using your dirty rice scoop from the sink to make our bowl) then lock the door. Turn off the lights. Turn off the open sign. My co-worked asked Miss Girl if she was having a bad day after we called her out on it. She was not having a good day. We've all worked food-service. It sucks. Her co-worker didn't even back her up. Stand up for your co-workers! Tell us that she's sorry! I don't know. Don't just stand there and let her dig herself into a hole. If you continue to work food service, that's your choice. But maybe find somewhere else to bring the attitude. I was having a great night. Now I look dumb because I'm raving about this place and they let a nepotism baby run the place. I'm assuming she must own the shop or something based on her attitude and her friend not standing up for herself. Can't believe we paid $20 for a bowl + miso soup just to catch stray bullets for no reason. New tip for pokeworks: either let your high school workers leave at 8 pm or lock the door at 8:30 since that's when you want to close so bad. I don't even want an apology. I just want people to be nice. I don't want her to lose her job or be written up. I just need her to do better. It's free to be nice. Let me know if you guys want time stamps for my photo.

Yelp
Easy to go order and very quick made poke. Kinda slow on a packed streets though. Still poke was good and still recommend it.

Yelp
I was craving poke over the weekend and decided to try this place based on the reviews. I walked in and ordered at their self ordering stations. Even though they have hand sanitizer out, it would be nice if they sanitized the ordering stations more often as I noticed it wasn't super clean and you can definitely feel that when ordering at the station. The food itself was delicious. I ordered a regular poke bowl and was excited to see that I could order two scoops of crab without extra charge. The fish tasted fresh and I loved the wide variety of toppings. The seaweed salad was also included which I like because I never like spending extra for the basics that most poke places include for free. One thing that bothered me was that you can only choose one type of sauce to mix in with your poke. While you can indicate if you want more or less sauce mixed in, it was $0.75 per each extra sauce on the side. I enjoy mixing sauces together, so I felt that having one was limiting and had to spend extra to get a 2nd spicy sauce to mix in. Besides that, I had an overall pleasant experience. There's no dining in store (or even space to dine in store), but they have a lot of outdoor seating in front of the restaurant which makes up for it.

Yelp
Ordered signature works togo, opened it to find fish and rice for $19..... definitely not worth it, considering theres an alternative on the same street

Yelp
The fish was warm, and they double charged me. The salad was so old that it was actually soggy. I've been to the store and it's tiny and it's so hot in there. I am concerned about the temperature of fish they store at. Never going back.

Yelp
I've walked past this location a few times before, but I decided to pop in and try their food this past Saturday. I was very pleased with the service I received -- the woman who took my order (Julia?) was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me as I tried to decide what I wanted to order. Her recommendations were excellent! She also mentioned the current seasonal Seoul bowl, which I'm interested in trying soon. I appreciated learning about the values of the store in my conversation with her - sustainability is very important to me, so I was pleased to learn about how Pokéworks incorporates that into their business. The bowl itself was delightful! I enjoyed the regular Pokéworks sauce on my ahi and salmon and the onion crisps were a fun add-on. The regular was the perfect size for me and made for a filling dinner. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
Chicken??? Where in my order did I add chicken? Ooh, that's right, I DIDN'T!!! Nor did I add wonton strips. Completely wrong order! Super fishy taste. Sauce was salty and overpowered. Kale noodles were overcooked and didn't add any textural difference. Terrible!!! And, poke was subpar. . Beyond disappointed. Try harder PokeWorks
