I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately this past experience was one too many bad ones :(
I ordered $65 worth of food for my partner and I to get delivered for Valentine’s day. I used some points I had on the app to get a free mango drink. When the food came, it was soggy and smelled old, definitely not fresh like promised. Also, the dasher came sooner than expected which makes me wonder how soggy it would have been if they came on time. Not only was my burrito soggy and old, they also forgot my drink!
So ofcourse, I’m thinking no problem, I text and call my dasher 4 times total with no response, I completely understand that isn’t the restaurant’s fault the dasher didn’t answer, but then I call the restaurant. I’ve now left a voicemail and called over 5 times in the span of 3 days with no answer the whole time. The app hasn’t refunded me my points, and I never got my drink.
Ontop of this horrible service, it has also messed up my stomach so bad I needed to see my doctor. I am fully convinced the fish was old and past its best by date, and as if it’s not frustrating enough to spend almost $70 on bad food, nobody will answer me or call me back. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews and try to be as reasonable as possible, however I just want to warn anyone reading this that I would NOT come back to this place, ESPECIALLY if you don’t like food poisoning.
UPDATE: The owner and customer service team has reached out and in my opinion made it right. They refunded my food and and shown me they take health and safety concerns very seriously. Along with that a health and safety inspection took place and they did pass 97/100. They have also reached out to offer me a free bowl in the future. While I’m not sure I will go back, I have to say I’m very pleased with how swiftly and importantly they handled this. I am hoping from now on this won’t happen to anyone else, and I can say that I am not satisfied with the service provided
