I’m in Nashville for work and was craving poke, so I decided to give Pokeworks a try. I had a bunch of special requests since I wasn’t able to eat right away—I needed certain ingredients separated so they wouldn’t get soggy. Raj, who took my call, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly patient, double-checking with the kitchen to ensure my order was done right. His attention to detail and customer service were outstanding—he deserves recognition (and a raise!). When I finally got to eat, the food was super fresh, reminding me of the poke I’d get in San Diego. Everything was top quality, from the fish to the toppings, and perfectly portioned. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I’m in town. Highly recommend!

Nice little place for Poke in downtown Nashville. Clean and organized area. Friendly staff and fast service. The food is good. Parking for a downtown area is awesome, first 2 hours free. Recommend visiting the place when you come to Nashville, Tennessee.

Pokeworks is fresh and delicious! Coming from California, good seafood is hard to find here, but this place has the freshness and quality of a good poke bowl. Alana helped me out today and was very welcoming and helpful. The sushibombs are my favorite!

I was craving poke on my trip to Nashville and came across Pokeworks which it did not disappoint! Sam was extremely helpful and very welcoming. 🙃 I don't live in Nashville, but if I did, this would be my go to spot. Highly recommend!

First time here and having a poke bowl, and everything was great. Sam was patient with me and informative. He even gave me a sample of dessert and it was so good. I’ll be back!

I was really looking forward to trying this place. We ordered and had it delivered to our work. I got the teriyaki salmon plate. I was only able to eat the green salad and the salmon pieces. The sauce tasted burnt and my rice was saturated in the sauce. I didn't care for the taste of the macaroni salad. I was looking for fresh clean food and this left a terrible taste in my mouth. One photo is what it looks like on the website and the darker one is what I got.

I feel like I’ve been catfished by their chicken. It says charbroiled and shows a picture of BBQ chicken. What I got was a dry insta pot chicken that no amount of teriyaki sauce could make edible. This is an embarrassment to “Hawaiian” food. I want my money back.

The food is so good and fresh. The restaurant so clean and good location. Parking on the street is easy to find. Fern is the one service me and she is the best. She so nice and fast.

Got Pokeworks to go. Service was quick and friendly. The food transported me back to a trip to Honolulu a few years back. The portions were generous. I got the shrimp and macaroni salad. Every bite was flavorful and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend!

I just moved here from Connecticut and tried Pokeworks through take out. I was IMPRESSED by not just how delish and fresh my ingredients were, but also how much thought came into sealing my green tea drink and miso soup. I haven't had a good poke bowl in years and this definitely hit the spot. I will be ordering from them again.

Lots of vegetarian toppings which was nice! Toppings all tasted fresh, and different textures / variety made the bowl taste great. Also tried the ube latte which was refreshing. It wasn't too sweet, and boba was soft.

Had the Hawaiian Teriyaki Chicken bowl. It was almost inedible. The chicken is precooked and sits in heated pan until ordered. Dray and tasteless. The Teriyaki sauce isn't great. Macaroni salad was bland but the green salad wasn't bad. They have drink containers for strawberry lemonade and other flavors but they were empty. Service wasn't that great. Tipped 5.00 on a 13 buck order and pretty much just dismissed. Totally transactional and not engaged with customers at all. No thank you and no goodbye. With so many other choices why settle for mediocrity?

Service was great. Sammy was friendly and quick with my order. I will definitely return the next time I am in Nashville.

I absolutely love this place. Once a week, at minimum I'm here. (Important question: Do they have a rewards points program?!) The employees here are amazing, super helpful and kind. And seriously, the poke bowls are to die for good. Everything is so FRESH and tasty, and I always make my own signature bowl. Highly recommend getting the protein of your choice torched - it adds a nice charred texture to the meat, but doesn't overcook it. Literal game changer in flavor (!!). I haven't ventured yet into the realm of adding any 'crunchys'. Anyone have any recommendations?! Can't wait to try more combinations~

Such a great alternative for a healthy lunch or a light dinner. Nashville definitely needs more healthy and fast alternatives for lunch and dinner. You can create your own bowl or get a premade option. I got the premade option. The spicy ahi tuna is loaded with Ahi tuna, cucumber, sweet onion, edamame, Sriracha Aioli flavor, masago, green onion, sesame seeds, onion crisps, shredded nori. I went a base of cold Ramen noodles. This was so good, and I didn't realize how much I was missing quality pokè since moving from the West Coast. I also ordered a spam musubi for the ride home since it was gonna take about 40 minutes to get home. My wife created her bowl and even though I did not have a taste of it, it did look delicious. Her only, very small, complaint was not liking the warm white rice base added it to the cold raw fish. I really love the layout here and the inside is extremely clean, dare I say immaculate? I would definitely come back here if I was in the Capitol View neighborhood again.

I ordered from this place on Doordash and it tasted fantastic. I cannot even imagine how it would taste fresh at the restaurant. I did a build your own poke bowl with shrimp, chicken, and all the delicious toppings. It even tasted great the next day! The only thing I need to try is the sauces, the one I got (spicy serrano aioli) I was not crazy about. Luckily I ordered it on the side so I still got to enjoy the bowl. Wow! Like I went to heaven and came back... whatz? James and Felicia are so nice and customer oriented. The place is clean, well decorated and spacious. But now, the food! Delicious is an understatement. That burrito was amazing! I never had the sushi burrito before and I love seaweed! So wrap it up. I do wish it had two layers of the wrap because is too thin and it get messy too fast. The power food it has inside is too much (don't change that!) I made it a combo and it brings soup or their ice cream. I got the miso soup and it was ok. Needed a little more flavor. They also have two fountain drink flavors and bottle drinks in the cooler, I went with the pomegranate one. Delicious! The menu is easy to read but it can have updates. I also downloaded the app (you get $5 off) but it doesn't say it the next purchase. Ms. Felicia didn't scan it but said I could update he app with the receipt, I tried while I was enjoying the food but it kept giving me an error but great ideas to earn points. They know they goo' that you'll be back. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Good sushi bowls, lots of flavor. I tried the spicy ahi and it hit the spot. Will come back and try other stuff here. It's very convenient location, right by my office. Clean restaurant and service was fast.

I have been in a Poké bowl kick lately and tried other poké restaurants in town.This is poké place is by far my favorite! Monica was a saint! She was so patient with me as I build my bowl. She walked me through the ingredients and sauces. . I had build your own with 2 protein spicy salmon and spicy tuna both s are fresh! I had half white and half brown rice. I also added edamame, and other vegetables and orange slices which was amazing! I added gochuchang and ponzu shuyo. It was so good I went back the following week for dinner. The staff Monica and Izyk was super friendly this is probably my favorite poke restaurant in town! Tip- signup for the rewards program! You'll earn points and get $5 off!

Ordered takeout from here as a part of my schools meal plan. Everything as fresh and tasted good enough but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to order it again. Then again I'm not a huge poke fan but I've definitely had better. There was nothing memorable about this meal and it came out to around $24 just for a regular bowl. It's good if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

I got this try pokeworks through the Yelp Elit 615 event and it was an amazing deal. My burrito was delicious - filling but didn't leave me too full. Also got to try their spam musubi and pineapple dole soft serve, and I think the dessert was my favorite. I was especially happy that it's a dairy free option. Food was delicious. Staff were all so nice. Would definitely come back! Also free parking in the garage. Super convenient place to grab a meal in the gulch!

Normally it's ok. Asked for a tiny amount of the spiciest sauce on top of my bowl. Employee doused my meal in it and then joked about it. I ate the stuff on top and then got down to the fiery hell. Got to the fish and had to throw it away. Waste of $20.

I always eat here, the food is great. However, I think there should be a warning on that Volcano bowl. I consider myself to have a very high heat tolerance, but my mouth was burning from this. I could only eat half before I had to tap out.

Came here for lunch on a weekday, got a poke bowl with kale noodles, and got tuna, salmon, spicy salmon. I got a bit of the classic sauce (wanted a spicy sauce too without mayo, and I got the spicy chili oil which I've never seen at other places), and I was surprised that the spicy salmon got dumped into the bowl with tuna and salmon to mix together instead of just straight on top of my noodles. I got all of the toppings, including avocado. The avocado was $1.50 more but a tiny scoop (basically 1/4 of an avocado - that was extremely stingy). Thought soft tofu as a topping was interesting. Noodles were too soft, good amount of fish though! Fish was fresh and tasty, I enjoyed it. i also got a dole whip and then was asked if I wanted the combo which is the poke bowl, dole whip, and drink. I took it, bill came out to be about $24 post-tax. The dole whip wasn't frozen yogurt, it was super icy and not what I expected. It also melted really quickly. Poke bowl was good, would get again!

I work nearby and walk to Capitol View frequently. I like to walk past the dog park and then often times eat at some of the places in Capitol View. I noticed Pokeworks was open and it looked nice from the outside, so I wanted to try it out. The interior is very clean and inviting. The staff are very helpful and friendly in explaining the process. You choose either two or three proteins (two is enough) and you choose a base, and then choose your toppings. You tell them what sauce you want and what heaviness (light or heavy) you prefer. I opted for the rice base, and salmon and tuna with cilantro, hijiki seaweed, edamame, kimchi, pokeworks classic ginger sesame vinaigrette, masago, seaweed salad, garlic flakes and roasted sesame seeds. I cleaned my bowl. I loved it so much I have been there twice now lol. The first time I tried a garlic spam musubi. It was definitely more food than I needed but I at least wanted to try it. Loved the flavor. I would love to get the opinion from an actual Hawaiian - maybe you are next to review this place. I love it, two thumbs up.

A great lighter food option. Everything here is fresh and super customizable which makes it very easy to ensure you enjoy. The bowls are made with generous portions and the Asian flavors are hard to beat. Also don't forget to grab a dole whip

I emailed them as they requested and they ghosted me Terrible management and business practices. Avoid this place at all costs. You're better off going to Publix and getting poké.

I've had pokeworks twice now and I just don't like the taste of the dish here. It tastes rubbery and simply not fresh. It also hurt my stomach. The fish and ingredients at Poke Bros is much better.

I really enjoyed everything! The dole whip is amazing (thought they only served that at Disney world!) The spam musubi is quite tasty and the poke had fantastic flavor and texture. Just a bit pricey.

Delicious, fresh poke bowls! This is one of the healthiest options in the Capitol View area in my opinion. Everything is so fresh! It is not cheap but it's worth it! I typically get the tuna and salmon sashimi. I haven't explored a lot of the rest of the menu but the portions are generous and this makes a filling, healthy lunch. I typically eat there at the restaurant. I don't like taking it to go. Service is quick and efficient and staff has always been helpful. Really like this place!

I appreciate the quality and speed of Pokeworks! Their bowls never disappoint, and I appreciate that they have zucchini noodles as well as a good variety of protein options.

Got a regular bowl with the kale noodles and spicy tuna as well as the garlic spam musubi. Overall, I thought the poke ingredients were fresh and of good quality although I felt that they could have been more generous with the portion of protein (for the price of their regular bowl, most places give you 3 scoops, not just 2). The kale noodles were fun, and I've never seen them offered as a base for poke before. The garlic spam musubi was surprisingly flavorful and satisfying. I really like how they constructed it to have a layer of furikake and crispy garlic between the Spam and the rice. Sadly, they were out of the pineapple soft serve when I visited and were not sure if they would get it back.

Pure deliciousness! It is very filling and you can switch it around to experience different flavors. Highly recommended if you want sushi

Service was fast and friendly! Food was delicious and perfect for high energy and not weighing me down. Eating area was clean and bright, I ate at high top table people watching.

The restaurant seemed very clean. The staff were friendly. You can order pre-designed bowls by number OR create your own bowl. We ordered the #3 bowl, "Hawaiian Ahi". The serving size was very generous and looked very appealing to the eye. The raw fish was fresh and cut in generous sized cubes. The bowl was a bit dry- but I realized that the server had asked how much sauce we wanted and when we didn't reply he apparently didn't put much on it. We are both hard-of-hearing. When I asked for sauce on the side later and added it, the dish really popped. They offer canned drinks with fruit flavor mixes, like strawberry/mango or pineapple/passion fruit. Also fountain soft drinks or tea. I didn't see any alcohol drinks. Be sure to try the dole soft serve pineapple dessert (ice cream?). It pairs beautifully with the poke bowl. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the ambience of Pokeworks. I think you will, as well.

If you are looking for a quick lunch then it's a great place to go if you are in the area. I was looking forward to having the salmon but they were out so that was a disappointment. The workers were all very nice and accommodating. Will I come here again? Maybe if I'm in the neighborhood

We tried Pokeworks for the first time and it was great! From the portion sizes to the sauces and all the options we both created a bowl we loved! We finished it off the a dole whip with li hing mui powder and it was so refreshing! We'll definitely be back!

Poke bowls are bomb and fresh. Service is fast and the staff is super friendly. James was very helpful and helped explain how everything worked since it's my first time here. James is a super friendly, great employee

I found this place thanks to Groupon. The person at the counter gave me such a hard time redeeming my Groupon after seeing me with his own eyes purchase it right in front of him. The service definitely wasn't the best. The food was ok. Not the best poke bowl I've had but it was alright. I would love to give the place another chance but not after the experience I had.

It was my first time, and it was wonderful experience. Jordan was super kind and funny. He made the ordering process really easy. I wish I took a picture of my bowl because it was delicious!

Great food, great staff and nice area to eat. The only request I have is to have coconut aminos as the soy substitute for those who can't eat soy.

The management, the employees, the restaurant, and location PERFECT! My bowl...amazingly healthy and good!! #6 with Tofu. So there is a bowl or burrito, salad for everybody!

It's rare that I eat healthy and end up full. What is it even more rare is to be excited to do so. Pokeworks....works! The food is great and James (at the counter) is a blessing. He knows what tastes good and can lead you to promised land. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Pokeworks is an interesting concept for casual dining. You build your dish in a similar fashion as Chipotle. You start with a protein then add vegetables and sauces. My husband and I did the Spicy Tuna and the Ponzu Salmon. Our dinner was tasty and reasonably priced, but not fantastic.

First time in tonight and really enjoyed the whole experience! The place is bright, well-decorated and they have friendly and attentive staff. They have a great variety of bowls on the menu and they even offered to add additional toppings as they filled your bowl right in front of you. The spicy tuna and yuzu ponzu salmon bowls were delicious--made with super fresh ingredients and very filling! It was awesome to have so many different choices and we especially enjoyed the unique spam/rice snack wrapped in seaweed (wish I could remember the name) and the tasty pineapple ice cream (seriously, it rivals Disney's dole whip!) for dessert! I can't wait to go back and try more!

This was my first time trying poke and I was not disappointed. The seared salmon was really good. The lady that prepared my bowl suggested a different take on the sauce adding sriracha aioli to the regular miso sauce. It was really good and gave it a little kick. I'll definitely be back.

So good! Everything was very fresh - my eyes were burning a bit, so I assume the onions were freshly cut. Easy to make a bowl if you're vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free. I got just a little scoop of the hot peppers in my bowl and it was very hot, so skip those if you're weak when it comes to spice. They have containers of sesame oil, sriracha, and soy sauce to add if you want. I came hungry and the bowl filled me up. The employees were friendly, too! I really enjoyed my meal and will be back!

Absolutely disgusting. I'm a huge poke fan and was excited to try this out but was terribly disappointed...nothing is fresh... seaweed salad was dyed green, spicy tuna tasted extremely bland and a freezer burn texture, avocado was hot and mushy, Edamame had a funky taste. What a waste of $20

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Pokeworks. Was overwhelmed with the idea of creating my own bowl, so I opted for one of their custom bowls: Spicy Tuna. I can't wait to go back to try it in burrito form!

The poke is so fresh and delicious! I had the cauliflower rice which is one of the best versions I have ate. There is also lots of topping and sauce options. Last but not least, phenomenal customer service from Julian, James, and Felicia! They were so kind and patient, exemplifying top tier interpersonal skills. I will definitely be back!

I visited Pokeworks around 1p on a Monday and was served very quickly. It was my first time there and Monica made it a great first visit! She walked me through the sauce options and let me try a sauce before she put it on my burrito. Monica was very friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be back! I got a salmon and spicy tuna burrito and it was really yummy and fresh. Give their dole whip a try!

Tuna poke bowl was really fresh and delicious. The miso soup recipe could be revisited.

I really enjoyed my meal at Pokeworks. I was visiting a friend that lives around the corner and we popped in to a very warm welcome and fresh food. I'm used to poke places in California and this setup had far more choices for toppings and sauces than I've ever seen. It's nice that they hand mix your protein choice with the sauces before you get your toppings so it's easier to eat. When I'm near this location I'll definitely be back.
