I love poke, and the café style is great. But the quality, service and portions has gone down dramatically over the last year or so. I've probably been here 15-20 times in the last 2 years. I pretty much always get the same thing, but sometimes the fish is starting to oxidize and turn grey, but they just restock it on top of the fresh fish. And the portion sizes are so varied, sometimes a large fills the bowl and sometimes its barely half and you have to ask 2-3x to get more than 4 pieces of cucumber in a whole bowl! I really want to keep coming back, but at 15$ a bowl it has to be fresh and full, and that has not happened the last few times.

This is my first time at this establishment. I am usually on fence about tryin new Poke places, but I decided to try this place out. The service was great, with friendly customer service. The person who attended me answered my questions regarding the menu and catering to my dietary restrictions. Food was amazing. I really enjoyed the freshness of their fish and poultry and greens. Definitely will be coming back to try their other items. If you're around the area, definitely a good place to stop by and eat.

My husband and I went to get some poke and Lissa and Josh gave incredible service. Josh was making like 6 bowls at a time and was still attentive and didn't make a single mistake. Lissa is usually there when I go and shes always attentive, vibrant, and awesome. We talked a bit about how much I love the Garlic Spam Musubi and they told me we could purchase the sauce they use and the crispy garlic since I couldn't find it in the grocery store. 10/10 food AND service!! They even slipped me some extra spam musubi because they were closing soon and had to throw it away!

Great staff like Joshua B, ruined by Lexie’s consistently terrible attitude To be fair, one employee named Joshua is always outstanding – friendly, fast, and genuinely makes the experience pleasant when he’s working. Unfortunately, another employee named Lexie single-handedly destroys any goodwill with her repeatedly hostile and unprofessional behavior. This is now the second terrible encounter with her: • Last time we arrived 30 minutes before closing and she immediately gave us dirty looks, heavy sighs, and hostile body language the entire time we were ordering, acting like our presence was a huge personal inconvenience. • This most recent visit, we showed up 1 hour before close and were told the inside dining area was already “closed” (despite posted hours). Lexie stood there grinning sarcastically, moaning dramatically, and making exaggerated annoyed noises while delivering the news. It was openly mocking and incredibly rude. If you dislike your job or dealing with customers this much, especially in the hour before closing, please find work that doesn’t involve the public. Josh proves it’s possible to be professional and kind right up until the doors lock. Management, please address this recurring problem with Lexie before more customers walk away for good. Josh deserves better coworkers, and customers deserve basic respect. We won’t be back unless something changes. Plenty of other poke spots in the Bay Area have consistently great service.

Pretty good experience overall Tasteful sushi in a bowl Staff kind of quiet straight to the point Gave a 4 because tables are not cleaned in between guest. Our table was extremely sticky and as we watched guest leave, new guest sat without the tables ever being wiped down.

We walked in and were greeted immediately by Kassya. She prepared and served our bowls for us with care. She also crafted our Passion Lychee Green teas and offered us water while we waited for them. We really enjoyed our experience today, we can only rate 5/5, but she made our experience at 10/5✨️

Don't bother getting the avocado salad. I received one small scoop of avocado and it was brown. It's way overpriced for what you get

I haven't told anyone this, but I want to get a jump on eating healthy. While I don't plan to become a vegan or eat anything without a single grain of sugar for the rest of my life, I figure I'd make room for more of the stuff that's apparently good for you. My craving for poke is what brought me here to Pokeworks. While it's in a shopping center just off the Gulf Freeway and Bay Area Boulevard, first-time visitors could easily miss it if they're not looking. I arrived here with the spicy ahi poke in mind. And I wasn't disappointed at all. The bowl was a nice, delicious cacophony of rice, vegetables, and of course, ahi. Freshness and consistency were the names of the game. Anyone who hasn't tried poke may think it isn't filling, but I'm here to say they're sadly mistaken. Just eat it with chopsticks. Before I end this review, allow me to sing the praises of the spam musubi. The spam was nicely cooked and the rice soft and plentiful. I enjoyed it so much that I nearly bought all what they had for sale by the cash register.

I came back to Pokeworks for a poke bowl and had a delightful experience! The staff was attentive and quick to build what I asked for (all types of seafood, two types of fish, and lots of random toppings)- it came out delicious and I think it would be very hard to go wrong with all the options they serve. The restaurant was clean, a couple other patrons were there but it wasn't too loud or distracting, and really for food this fresh, given the price and speed, its a fantastic find!

Amazing food absolutely delicious. The service was amazing and the guy who helped me was so nice and gave me a free spam and rice thing! The ambiance was meh but I just got a togo order so it wasn't a big deal!

Randomly craved a poke bowl and decided to go to one close to home. The inside of the restaurant smelled like straight chlorine. I guess they wanted to clean two hours before closing? It was a bit unpleasant but at least I know they so clean. I made my own custom bowl with salmon and spicy salmon and a variety of ingredients. All of their ingredients tasted very fresh and not bad! They have three levels of how much sauce can be added. I like that because it doesn't taste like I'm drowning in sauces. They even served spam musubi! My husband absolutely enjoyed it and gave high praises. All in all, I enjoy my experience there but there was just something missing from my poke bowl. Will have to come back and order more to figure out what that is!

I'm not very familiar with the area, but I found your restaurant and decided to try it. I was clueless about what to order, but Piper was there and helped me create my first bowl. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. There is ample parking, and the restaurant was very clean, even the restroom. I told my brother and sister about the place, and now they want to visit. Build your own poke bowl and hibiscus tea. Love stopping by for some fresh "fast food". I usually do half rice and half salad for the best of both worlds. Pokeworks is well priced and plenty of food.

Came here because I was craving poke and it's close to the area that I live in. The service was wonderful and the staff was patient with giving us little samples of the sauces they had. Everything seemed fresh and tasted nice.

Came here to get a quick bite with my boyfriend and I can't even tell you how much he loved this place ! I swear he finished his bowl faster than the time we spent ordering ! I ordered the regular size Spicy Tuna Ahi and added a couple of other toppings from what they offered & my boyfriend created his own spicy poke bowl with spicy tuna and toppings of his choice with their spicy volcano sauce - I got a taste of the volcano sauce and it was so good I added it to my order as well ! All the toppings were fresh with a countless number of toppings to choose from ! The regular size was a generous portion size, so I suggest if you're not too hungry just order the small size !

A very pleasant surprise. If you're looking for a quick, healthy poke bowl, Pokeworks is the place to come. I ordered the large (3 protein) bowl with greens as my base. I chose: ahi tuna, salmon, and shrimp for my protein and it did not disappoint! The topping selection is nice and they have many different sauces to choose from. I like that they have many crunchy options to top it off with too. My bowl was extremely filling and I left satisfied. *bonus that you get a free drink offer with Yelp check in. I will definitely be back!

Food is fresh and delicious, better than I expected!! You have to try the Spicy Tuna.

Vegetarian Review: I can say I'm on the path to becoming a poke enthusiast! I thought I wouldn't like it much because it'd be a cold flavorless mess with tofu but the sushi rice underneath was warm and the sauces complemented everything nicely. My parents even liked it so that says a lot in itself. I chose to make my own bowl instead of getting the signature sweet chilli tofu- glad I did, more bang for my buck & allowed me to decide what I do and don't like so I can make the perfect burrito next time. The staff here was generous and accommodated us with sampling the sauces and a few toppings before we added it to the entire meal. - The extra for avocado is definitely worth it - There's soft tofu available in addition to the organic tofu base for everyone trying to get that extra boost of protein - I recommend mixing the Sriracha Aioli & the Sweet Chilli Gochujang sauces but honestly I feel like so many combinations can go well here - Would like to try brown rice/quinoa next time but man the sushi rice was just so good. Wouldn't ever get the kale noodles on their own- tasted decent but didn't soak up the flavors enough to complete the meal as much as the rice did. Overall great place to come to if you have yet to try poke!

The food is ok but don't hold a fundraiser here. My organization did, we organized everything through their partner GroupRaise and got a green light from the restaurant to proceed with a profit sharing fundraiser where a certain percentage of each order our group members purchased would come back to our organization. We advertised the event to our club and had them RSVP to the event. When we showed up to order the employees had no idea how to enter our event code to give us credit in the profit share. Now over three months later they refuse to give our portion of the profit share even though we sent many members to them for this event. I went near the end of when the event was scheduled for and witnessed at least 7 bowls get ordered by different club members I personally know and we all asked them to apply the event code, I even brought a friend with me who is not in the club to help with the fundraiser. It is a shame they are so disorganized and now refuse to work with us to get the profit share they agreed to months in advance. Also, the miso soup is not good and not worth the upcharge.

Pokeworks takes a lot of my money. The Spicy Ahi (sub in salmon) with kale noodles gives me life! And the small/regular size is perfect - almost too much food - for me. I always end up with leftover for a late-day snack. This particular location was clean - all their locations are - staff was friendly despite our group popping in right before closing. They have a rewards system, too. BTW, the kale noodles are not GF. And they're rather high in cal compared to the quinoa, salad/greens or rice, but they're really good. :)

Best poke I've ever had. We went for the grand opening b/c they had a BOGO deal. Around 8 PM the line was literally out the door. Interior is brand new, clean, bright, and spacious. Ingredients were restocked constantly and were fresh. Patrons in line were respectful and moved as efficiently as they could. We ordered the Hawaiian classic, shrimp & scallop (though they were out of scallop, we replaced it with chicken), and made our own bowls. Ordered size large ($2 price difference), and I only finished half. Per recommendation of a friend, for my make-your-own bowls, I ordered the kale noodles as a base. So yummy. Would prefer this over rice or quinoa. I like the ahi tuna & the salmon as proteins. If you order a normal size, you pick 2 proteins. For a large, you'll pick 3. I also requested every topping that didn't cost extra. Lotus chips are a must. We missed out on the free coconuts they were giving out earlier in the day but didn't mind. We downloaded the Pokeworks app and got $5 credit, so we got 2 large bowls for a little under $10. Some improvements would be the staff. Many were incredibly patient with our orders, which we tremendously appreciated, but there were a few who kept persistently discouraging that our $5 app credit wouldn't work (it did, lol). Other than that, great food and a strong grand opening. Wishing this business continued success. We will be back for sure :)

So nice, i ate here twice! Lol, I'd never heard of this place but South Ft Worth definitely needs a location! Imagine Chipotle but for poke and it's so good!!! Both times, I had the spicy ahi and got edamame, lettuce mix, white rice, crab and seaweed. The star of the show was the spicy sauce that topped the bowl. If I lived locally, this place would be in the weekly rotation. If you have one near you, give it a chance especially if you're a fan of flavor bombs!

Brand spankin' new poke place near home! Upon walking inside, I noticed a brightly lit, very clean shop. There were at least 4 employees at the counter readily available to suit your poke craving. I had a regular salad bowl which included 2 proteins for $10.50. The ingredients along the assembly line looked very fresh, and were all neatly arranged. I love how finally poke spots are becoming a hit in the area, and I will be definitely returning!

Pokeworks has finally come to Bay Area Blvd near Baybrook Mall! This location has been long awaited and much needed in the area. The poke craze has been big in Houston, but its always been a 30+ min drive to the nearest poke place until this location in the area. Brightly lit with natural lighting, and sparkling clean interior are probably the most notable features of this Pokeworks. You basically order like you were at a subway or chipotle, but are getting delicious poke instead. I like getting a mix of their green tea soba noodles mixed with their salad mix as my base then getting lots of their marinated spicy salmon as my main protein. Mix and match other toppings/sauces as you see fit, and enjoy! If you don't think you can make your own bowl or are new to poke, they have a list of "Signature Works" which are bowl combinations guaranteed to be delicious. Tractor Beverage Co drinks are also proudly served as they are 100% natural and organic. Lunch here is definitely in my upcoming future.

Pretty damn solid poke! Got the kale noodles which were good! Only wished that the regular size bowl was a tad bit bigger and that they gave more salmon and tuna. Haha I'm such a fatty

I absolutely love this app. Basically 3 button clicks to reorder my favorite poke. It's so convenient to just order enroute and it's ready by the time you get there. Only drawback is not being able to use my rewards on a mobile order. The rewards just comes up with a barcode for the store to scan. If I could easily apply that to an app order and payment it would be ideal. Regarding the poke itself it is ideal for my diet with the cauliflower rice option. I'm down 60lbs so far and pokeworks healthy options is a big part of that. I can eat out and enjoy delicious, fast, and convenient food with zero guilt. Plus the results of how my health and life has changed speaks for itself.

Very good and good portions. Everything tastes very fresh, restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. I signed up for the rewards and get $5 off my next visit, which will be really soon. Really enjoyed my experience.

Why 5 stars? Because it was everything I'd want in a poke bowl. --- --- --- I could eat poke just about every day. Whether I'm starving or looking for something on the lighter side, I'm always in the mood for poke. So when I was recently visiting my parents and looking for something quick/convenient, I found Pokeworks on Yelp, saw the great reviews and the decision on where to eat was quickly made. One thing I liked about Pokeworks compared to the places near my house is that they actually mixed the contents of the bowl. It's a pet peeve of mine to have to manually mix things myself when the bowl is full and it's difficult to avoid spilling. This was not a problem here as everything was mixed quite nicely. There definitely wasn't any ingredient that stood out as missing, so the selection was everything one could hope for in terms of both quantity and quality. And on top of everything else, they had some interesting teas to choose from, which were great. I definitely sampled all of them before decided on one :) I'll definitely be back in the future when I'm visiting my parents!

Everything about this place was great. Fresh ingredients, variety and staff was friendly, they explained to me that everything was customizable. The bowl was delicious, perfect portion and was super filling without making me feel overly full or bloated, since it's all pretty healthy. :)

I came back like I said I would and gave the kale noodles a try. They were tasty and will be my go to when I stop by here now. It tasted a little be salty but not overwhelming. So this bumped up the stars to a 4. Let's here it for the kale!

Well, Clear Lake finally got in on the Poke scene. I am so excited, since I work close by. I came to their grand opening yesterday and it did not disappoint. They had a lot of staff there moving the line quickly. I've already been to the one in Houston, and loved it, so I had a good hunch that I would really like this one too. They have a good selection of toppings and you can create so many different bowls. The ingredients taste fresh and they give good size portions. I got the small bowl that comes with two protein and it was definitely enough to fill me up... I even had to save some for later. I am so happy they are in Clear Lake and I look forward to coming here often. Btw if you get their app they give you $5 off your first order and I believe you get to add up points for future rewards too.

Super duper yum! So glad that Clear Lake is finally getting more things that tend to be Inside the Loop only! I ordered the Unami Classic because it was lunchtime, I was hungry, and I didn't want to focus on trying to make my own bowl because all I could think about was actually eating! Everything was so fresh and tasty, and prepared really fast so you can get in, get out and get on with your life!

Brand new and Super fresh loved the flavors and the service. I tried the ahí tuna/albacore tuna Poke bowl with brown rice cabbage and other toppings with their signature ginger dressing, it was so good and my husband had the Poke burrito with ahi tuna/albacore tuna, (the reason we came) it was wonderful. We'll def. be back for more. We're glad to see new food options around the Clear Lake area and wish them the best luck!

Solid 4 stars. Fresh, friendly, easy, and tasty. This place is great and not just because there is currently little to no competition. It's a small place with communal tables, catering more to the in and out lunch crowd. It's very clean and the entire staff was really friendly. The BYO concept is similar to Subway in that you can easily see all of the available ingredients and can ask for more or less of any given ingredient. (They even ask how heavy handed you like the sauce- huge thumbs up on that!) My bowl did not disappoint. It was full of flavor and complex textures and was very fresh. The regular size was very filling and came with 2 scoops of protein which you can mix and match. I would definitely get the ahi tuna again, but would pass on the shrimp. It was a tad on the slimy side and tasted slightly undercooked. I imagine it was "cooked" similar to a ceviche through lime or other citrus marination. I love ceviche and haven't experienced that same undercooked taste so it could have been a one off or maybe it's just not my style. Regardless, it didn't ruin the meal for me; I just wouldn't order the shrimp again.

We have gone here before and it was good, consistent quality. However we went yesterday and the kale noodles were really gross. They were like over cooked and soggy. Then it was like 815 and all their signature drinks were no longer available because "they have to clean them by a certain time every day" really the staff was just trying to rush us out the door so they could close. Anyways will not be going back to Pokeworks....

I already wrote a glowing review for the Houston location but I don't care! The new Baybrook location of Pokeworks is just as sublime and deserves ALL the praise. Recap: fresh, delicious, mainly healthy, and abundant options to choose from. Must-try: their kale noodles (which is more appetizing than it sounds). Personally, my favorite sauce is Sriracha Aioli but the beauty of Poke is in the customization. What I treasure about Pokeworks in particular are the stellar customer service and impeccably clean interiors. If you had previous negative Poke experiences, I would still recommend you to check out this chain because it will change your life and palate. TIP: download their rewards app to get $5 off first order! They also have a neat referral system so you can keep coming back again & again with less wallet guilt. ;)

I went in to get a poke bowl and I almost fell from how bad the leakage from the Ceilings were and it was so hot in there I felt bad for the employees that were working there I don't think it's appropriate to have their employees working under those circumstances P.s if I could put zero stars I would but one star will do!

If you have never tried Poke you are missing out! I can't come to the Baybrook area with my boys without stopping for lunch first. Deonta is fast at making bowls and Maggie is quick on the register. You can be in and out for a quick lunch in no time.

I have been hoping for a poke restaurant near NASA for ages! Hooray! Pokeworks is a chain, so they know what they are doing. It's clean, open, and the staff is friendly. If you have never tried poke before, they will help you choose ingredients for your meal. Essentially, you can choose a classic bowl/salad/burrito with pre-defined ingredients, or you can choose you own toppings. Think Chipotle but with sushi toppings. My favorite toppings are avocado, seaweed salad, cucumber, green onion, and pickled ginger. Today was their soft opening. Grand opening soon!

I have eaten there twice and the first time the rice was mildly improperly cooked. The second time I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. It was awful. I won't ever be eating there again.

The food is absolutely amazing over here! This was my second time trying out Pokeworks and the exquisite service I received from Deontá and Maggie will have me returning at time i get a chance. They were extremely helpful and wonderful people! Thank you for the great lunch!

Ok so I've been going to this place for a while but today was the last time I come to this place. Prices went up. I went in there today and ordered a 2 protein bowl. Typically my bowl looks full and has plenty of everything I order but today the server Lucy R just seemed to be adding barely anything in the bowl! From the lettuce to the ingredients but what really ticked me off was the fact that she said she " I can only put 4 shrimp in the 2 protein bowl." Like really?!! I paid $14.02 for 4 pieces of shrimp and 6 small squares of spicy salmon?!!! It wasn't like this before and believe me, I would've dropped this place the moment I noticed that. People getting stingy in this economy and hiking up the prices for LESS is disgusting!!! Trust me when I say this, people will notice and your business will go down. Let's not mention how unkept the poke ingredients bar is. I will never come back to this place again.

I love the food! The portions are perfect and our worker Deonta was very hospitable and helped us newcomers choose the best options. Cannot wait to eat this!

The worst Pokeworks location ever!!!! My last order was disgusting - lukewarm fatty pieces of fish!!! Every single table and chair in the restaurant are sticky and dirty! Maybe some kind of food/restaurant inspection should visit them and close this location!

We enjoyed it very much and plan to be back. Everything was fresh and enjoyable. We got ours to go during the pandemic and went to a nearby park to eat. The servers were very helpful in explaining all the choices and recommendations. I might rate it higher after another visit or two, just not quite there yet.

Simply amazing. Everything is so fresh. I'm normally not a fan of raw fish, but i think this place just transitioned me, LOL. It was my first time here and the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable! I definitely will be back!!

This ain't poke, sorry, it's more a seafood salad. I lived in Hawaii for 17 years, where poke is practically a religion, and this tastes like someone from Long Beach saw it on the Food Network and decided to start it themselves without actually doing any research; also, they baaaaaaarely put any fish in the bowl, it's mostly all vegetables and rice. The staff is cool and professional, but if you're looking for actual poke, look elsewhere.
