My fiancé and me came here for the first time and was AMAZED of the service, the quality of the food and atmosphere!! The owner of this location Was SOO Sweet and helped us with our hot Cheeto burritos! She went above and beyond with the portion sizes and was soo sweet with recommendations! Will DEFINITELY be coming back here to eat these AMAZING Burritos

Just had a delicious large poke bowl from Pokitomik, and it was outstanding from start to finish. Super fresh fish, generous portions, and perfectly balanced flavors—every bite was on point. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their food. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Marilyn, the owner, was absolutely outstanding—warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure customers are happy. It’s clear she takes pride in both her food and her business, and that kind of leadership shows. Great food, great service, great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Pokitomik to anyone craving top-tier poke.

The burrito was so good. Saw it on TikTok and wanted to try it. When I went in I was excited and the minute I said “sushi burrito” the older ladies rolled their eyes and said “another sushi burrito” and whole time I was building my burrito it was just attitude and awkwardness 😭 loved it but most likely won’t go again bc I already get anxiety at places and this experience wasn’t a great first one! Wish they had more locations closer to me!🥹

Recently have been frequenting this particular Pokitomik. Food tastes good. Prices are reasonable. Food arrives on time (for the most part). Not sure what the previous reviewers have been complaining about. But I have had no such issues/experiences. I can only assume the issues are greatly exaggerated, or they have been properly addressed. I will definitely be coming back here often.

This place was amazingly delicious. Decent prices and great customer service. However, the handsome man who served me was a UCLA fan. SMH J/k.. Overall, great place. Definitely coming back Thank you again.

Super shocked by the positive reviews on here. I tried it out for the first time the other day and was incredibly disappointed by the bowl I got. When I removed the lid, I was immediately hit with this sour smell coming from the salmon and after taking a bite, I could taste it too. Definitely did not taste fresh, and I was worried about the smell so I didn't finish the salmon. I thought, oh well, might as well finish the vegetables and rice. I took a bite of the rice and it was undercooked...come on, man. Aside from being undercooked, the rice itself was poor quality, like school cafeteria food, it did not taste like white rice from other restaurants or the kind you can make at home. How could the most basic part- the rice- not even be good.. Sucked that I spent so much on something that tasted awful. Definitely not worth it for me- huge waste of money.

They are so nice and kind always serve with a smile, enjoy the food specially the cream jalapeño cream the guy recommended was sooo good with my poki. Coming back fr they have the boba and hot Cheetos topping lol

Solid spot to get a bite to eat! You can make your own bowls, order one of their signature bowls or get your order as a burrito or taco. I built my own small bowl, which came with two choices of protein and three toppings The ingredients here tasty fresh and even though this was a small bowl, it was very fulfilling and I was only able to finish half! It's clean here, with seats inside and outside. There's also plenty of parking

The Montebello location is run by a disrespectful old woman named Andrea Garcia. She underpays and over works her employees, openly disrespects and belittles them and constantly cuts work hours whenever something doesn't go her way. Do not apply here do not eat here the salmon is low quality and mushy nothing is fresh the cheese Cheeto dust is at least six months past expiration date yet still used daily. And all the electronic tips given to employees by customers are taken by Andrea and put directly into her pocket not ours.

Just found this place a week ago, while heading to Petco. I've been back a few times since. The fish is fresh, the portions, toppings, and sauces are so good. I'll probably be back in another few days. . I'm trying to eat healthy and I'm too exhausted to make dinner sometimes

I was really craving pokey, and all the local poke spots have been closed or just no longer a business or maybe moved I'm not sure. However this is the only poke spot around the radius that is within local driving distance so I decided to give it a try although I was skeptical. I did not read any reviews prior to coming here so I wasn't sure was gonna be and I thought it would be great to just try new place out and poor local business anyways. The place looked very empty. Upon entering I thought maybe it's because I'm going off hours however, the staff did not greet me or welcome me. When I first entered I was waiting for a staff to give me the attention. The woman who is on the counter, seeming like she has a lot of attitude, or maybe it was just a resting face, was eating on the counter, that their processing the other food which was slightly concerning. I ignored that, and I got a small Poké bowl upon taking the first bite. I realize something in the bowl wasn't right and after trying the various different food that I got from the bowl, it turned out I think the seaweed had gone bad because it was sour, and it tasted like Seaweed, and I have had Japanese and poki and seaweed of all sort, and that was not it. I end up throwing about a third of my bowl out, isolating the seaweed out, they overpour on the amount of sauce or the sauce they made are too salty. Perhaps they used Americanizing ingredients I'm not sure because normally when I have poki, the sauce or lighter. So I ended up spit some of the stuff out. I did not have the confidence in telling the staff because they weren't that welcoming about the food problem. I didn't care for refund, but I probably will not come back here again.

Great little hidden gem in Montebello! Right next to the AMC theater. So when you're looking for some local grinds, give this place a shot. Thanks again for the great good

This was a decent poke bowl, I got a large and we split 2 ppl. Might be pricey for just one person. Only thing was they needed more staff, Saturday night line took 30 minutes. Had to be late for our movie next door at AMC

Service: came in and a guy was working by himself. He was friendly. Food: I saw some reviews and I suppose prepared myself for the worse. Yes, the portion for the small bowl is smaller than other places. I didn't notice anything bad about the tuna and salmon. But the rice was old and mushed up together. Also, I asked for corn and the guy switched the leftover with a new batch. I looked at it and thought the corn looked hella weird. Like was it fake??? But whatever. I guess I'll see. Turns out, he accidentally switched it with mango. This was my first time having mango in my poke. Honestly, mango isn't my thing, but it wasn't bad in the poke. Something new. It's a small place. Not really somewhere for you to eat and hang out. I know you can sit and eat, but it's like an Asian version of subway. You CAN eat there but you probably don't want to. This place gets two stars because despite the bad rice, I can't give it a 1 unless I found the place downright disgusting or if I had such a terrible experience. Would I come back? Nah. But it IS the closest poke place like that near me that was open late.

Food is good but man, seriously you guys need to hire more people. Having one person working is not going to work. We waited for 30+ minutes to get served and there was only 2 people ahead of us. To be fair the first customer had 3 orders but still.

I got a poke bowl with all the fixins and it was BOMB! Service was excellent, atmosphere was chill, and Andrea (the owner) made it just how I like it, super spicy and flavorful!!! Definitely will be back again!!

This used to be our go to spot for poke. Now the bowls are barely filled 1/2 way. Each scoop only contains 4-5 tiny cubes of fish. Almost $16 per bowl. Likely will not be coming back. Poke bomb has better quality and is priced better at $16.50 for 4 actual scoops of fish. Looks like I'll be making that my regular spot. Not sure what happened to this location

Good here is always good. My boyfriend and I eat here every time I visit So Cal. Their soy paper burritos are amazing and their bowls are beyond delicious. I forgot to take a picture. I had a full spring mix with 3 proteins and 5 toppings regular on the sauces. My boyfriend had white rice 4 proteins and 5 toppings. He likes his with extra sauce or as he says very wet. Extra sauce is obviously extra cash but for him it's totally worth it. He was a happy camper. He definitely gets what he wants when I pick up for some reason when ordering online it's not drenched just regular wet but I won't lower the 5 star because I'm always happy and at the end of the day, I'm all that matter. The service was top notch when they got to me. It's a small place and I went after dinner time so it was almost empty with a few patrons but I believe most of their service is for to-go orders.

We love going to new poke spots. We were around the area and we wanted to see if this poke spot was good since it has 4 stars. I'm super disappointed! The fish wasn't good quality. We even had to take it out the bowl. The tuna had a very strong fishy taste. Honestly I wish i would have seen the bathroom before ordering because it was dirty and that would have change my decision.

Food is fresh, member was very pleasant great service. Is good for our community to have healthy choices for food. I enjoy coming here..

I recently ordered a large bowl from here with 3 scoops of salmon and paid extra for a scoop of spicy tuna, but there was barely any salmon in there. Seems like portions sizes are much smaller now...

Let me first say, the service I received was excellent. It was my first time dropping by, Johnny was very friendly and help me create a tasty sushi burrito to my liking as I am very particular with my food. The ingredient was fresh which made my experience eating the hot cheeto burrito and won ton shell taco that much more enjoyable. I recommend this spot if you're craving a poke bowl or feel adventurous and want to try their other tasty creations.

I cannot believe the level of disrespect and incompetence I experienced at this poki restaurant. This lady was incredibly rude and unhelpful, acting like they were doing me a favor by taking my order. When I asked a simple question about the menu, they rolled their eyes and acted like I was inconveniencing them. Not only was the customer service abysmal, but the food was also subpar. The fish was mushy and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The toppings were sparse and the rice was undercooked. Overall, a complete waste of money. I will never be returning to this establishment and I strongly advise others to steer clear. Save yourself the headache and find a poki restaurant that actually values their customers. Hope something is done about this lady!

This is a long overdue review for Pokitomik. My kids and I have found ourselves coming here A LOT this summer. The fish always taste good and we love the various topping options. As frequent customer we like their rewards program and the place is always super clean. This past Saturday we stopped by before going to the movies and met Daniel for the first time. He was super nice and had such great energy, he made our day!

Ordered from door dash and can't wait to order again. The portions are unmatched and great quality! Plus if you're debating on the desert get the cookie!!

Stopped by on Saturday, 07/01/23 for the first time around noon. This place is located inside a plaza near Big Lots, Petco, and the AMC movie theatres. Ordered the following (dined in): - 2 Regular Bowls: $15.75 per bowl [3 scoops] SUBTOTAL = $31.50 TAX = $2.99 TOTAL = $34.49 YUMMY! For my 3 scoops of protein, I got the shrimp, sweet salmon, and tuna. I got mixed greens as my base and you can pick up to 5 toppings. Limited seating inside. Ample parking outside.

Came here for lunch after watching a movie at AMC. There was only one guy working there making the food and doing cashier duty, which made the line go pretty slow. They have all the staples here: tuna, salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, shrimp, and sweet salmon (looks like a teriyaki marinade). They don't have any other interesting or fun proteins. You get a choice of crab or spicy crab and 5 toppings. Top off the bowl with up to 3 sauces and then I got all the garnishes. I wish I could get unlimited amount of toppings/sauces. Not a lot of table seating but we were able to get a spot.

Jarritos, Poke, and no poke! My friend eats slow. This food was delicious! They got mangos yo which has never been seen't in a poke establishment before but should be cause it was delicious. 10/10 would repeat and come on, they got Jarritos as well as a selection of green teas! Staff is super nice and they marinate with apples it's real good. Try the sweet salmon as well!

Fish is good for price! Hot Cheetos topping was great. Service was awesome. Definitely worth a try!

This place has great service and always the freshest ingredients . I love that they have different size poki bowls but also give the option for a poki burrito which is just as amazing!! they also over innovative dishes, such as poki tacos. One other thing I love is there point system every time you go you can get points, which can then lead you to getting free balls or other items in their menu. Their menu is quite large with cookies drinks smoothies there is something for everyone.

One year update: Came in during a busy dinner rush with a large family order of four bowls, and Selena was incredibly attentive and kind despite the chaos. The food, as always, was delicious and fresh! Pokeitomik has been our go-to poke spot for the past two years, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I was really surprised to find a fresh poke place in the city of Montebello. Just came back from a Hawaii trip and was craving poke, this definitely hit the spot. I wish they gave alittle more fish but other then that all the toppings that you ever need, they definitely have it.

Happened to be in the area for this place and was excited to try! They have some different sauces than the usual places i go to and thats a nice change. My husband liked them as well. The server helped us efficiently. The portions were not as big as im used to which was a letdown but understandable. I wish the place were a bit cleaner but it had a lot of space to sit and stuff was a reasonable price.

When I say this place is like hawaii in California I mean it. I lived in hawaii for years and this place taste just like it if not better because you can customize it to whatever you want!!! If you are hungry for some poke sushi. Look no further. Go here. Now.

The poke bowl was nothing extraordinary. They have limited protein options, including a "sweet salmon" that looked drenched in some teriyaki-looking sauce (was not appealing). I arrived shortly before 8pm (2.5 hours before closing) and it seemed like they were not going to replenish items that they were out of (such as the fresh salmon). I was disappointed that they did not inform me that a fresh spicy tuna batch was coming out and they simply gave me bottom of the barrel tuna, which was replenished right after I ordered. They offer 3-item and 4-item bowls with the option to add more scoops for $2 each. The scoops, I felt, are smaller than those of other comparable poke places. The young gentleman serving me was not cordial and seemed kind of annoyed to be there. Overall, I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here unless im planning to go to AMC (which is on the same parking lot).

Food was not good at all. The salmon was super fishy, tasted like it wasn't fresh. So disappointing. I ordered around 8:30 PM. The crunchy stuff (not sure if it was onion or garlic) but it just tasted like fried grease. Made me super nauseous. The crunchy stuff was so heavy on oil and greasy flavor I can't even taste if it's onion or garlic. Will not order here again for poke so disappointed. The flavor and freshness was not there. The lid of the box said to rate them but the website does NOT EVEN WORK.

I've been to the location of Poki Tomik in Thousand Oaks a while back and loved it so I was so excited when I saw a location open up closer to home. After trying out the location here, I would say it's just as good as the other location and I will be a returning customer. We ordered one sushi burrito and one regular poke bowl. I'm a big fan of sushi burritos and I think that the ones from poke tomik are the best I've had. I really like how you have the option to add hot Cheetos to the burrito; I feel like the addition makes the burrito unique and really enhances it with the slight crunch and spice. The poke bowl was also one of the better bowls I've had and I like how you're not limited by the number of things you can add to it. If you're a spice lover like myself, I definitely recommend adding the Hawaiian habanero sauce to your bowl. Overall, both items we ordered tasted flavorful, delicious, and fresh. This restaurant is on the smaller end but has a decent number of seats if you choose to dine in. The service here is good and the employee helping us was especially friendly; I like how he gave us recommendations as to what sauces to add to our food and asked us how we enjoyed the food as we're leaving. The restaurant is located in a large plaza so finding parking was not an issue.

Deff my FAVORITE Poki spot thus far! The quality is fresh and tasty, the serving amount is worth every penny and not to mention the kool employees are super kool!

First time trying PokiBowl here. It was delicious and the raw fish are fresh ! Mom and daughter so nice and have excellent customer Service! I recommend to check out this establishment!

Staff is really friendly and it is a nice little eatery with a decent variety of food/snacks for a poke place. I can usually get two meals out of their bowls so they are a good portion, just wish the scoops of fish were a little bigger. Would recommend trying (:

Ordered a regular bowl. Mixed all food inside and started eating. After the 3rd bite while chewing, I bit something that tasted like I'm grinding and hard objects in my mouth. When I took it out, it was a piece of glass, all bits and pieces already. Good thing I didn't cut my tongue nor swallowed it before it starts cutting into my esophagus, my internal organs and who knows what else could have happen. I always eat here, order food out. This would have been a big lawsuit for you guys. A GLASS! Imagine!?!

The scary woman with the tattoos turned out to be a sweetheart. Sadly, my kid and i both agreed that the food, while seeming fresh enough, tasted like refrigerator. Next!

First time here, but not the last. The selection was great, the quality was even better and the staff is the reason I'm coming back! (Food of course) They take pride in being there and preparing your order as if it were for them. Both employees on this day treated us so well and offered such great conversation. The female was the manager, but I felt like she was the owner. The owner should be very proud of knowing the employees are taking care of his business like he would. I will be back!!

I came here after watching a movie at the AMC in the same plaza. There was a long line forming as there was only one staff working when I got there. I chose the 3 scoop bowl with mixed greens as the base. They gave me the choice of spicy or regular crabs. They gave me the choice of mango and pineapple and I didn't know that I can get both. They have a limit of 5 toppings for the 3 scoop bowl. To finish off, I got the eel sauce, mango yuzu sauce, and sesame seeds. Overall, the bowl is not that big but I did like the sauces they offered. There are some tables to sit inside and outside the restaurant. I liked that they provided water and cups.

The staff was very courteous and respectful. The fish was fresh and the portions were reasonable. My daughter likes boba and it was convenient that we could get poki and boba in one stop. I highly recommend eating here.

The Living Clean Lady has bad energy! Not warm or welcoming whatsoever! Place is empty everytime I go...wonder why! She has to be the owner! The food is good but I would rather leave my money at a place that appreciates my patronage! A smile goes a long way! RBF is noty very inspiring for me to return!

The food taste delicious & fresh! I love the topping options they have. They have a friendly staff, very inviting & welcoming. They offer seating both indoor and outdoor. Plus they switched from fountain Pepsi to coke (my favorite)!!

Came here for the first time after spending time wondering what it was about on the way to see films at my favorite theater, and wow! The food was so good and healthy. I enjoyed a medium bowl with tuna, salmon and sweet salmon over brown rice with edamame, seaweed salad, mango, ginger, and wasabi plus a crunch topping and eel sauce. It was a fantastic . My sister enjoyed "tacos" which were crispy wonton wrappers filled with toppings of her choice. She selected shrimp and some greens, pineapple, seeds, sauce, and cheesy Cheeto crumbs and loved her meal. Our server Veronica was super and helpful in walking us through our options. Glad I finally stopped in. Will be back frequently and often.
