Google
This place just didn’t do anything for me. I love Gelato/Ice Cream. Recently came back from Italy, where we didn’t have a bad gelato. But after trying 6 different flavors here, I didn’t like any of them. We ate my wife’s one and even left that. True the flavors are very unique, pretty salty. Just not my taste. Service was excellent

Google
Have you ever wondered what blue cheese gelato would taste like? Well, you are in luck my friend!! That is only one of many flavor choices available here! Service is friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice stop on a hot day, one of the few places that doesn’t have the music so loud you have to scream at the person sitting next to you.

Google
Great gelato! We enjoyed the clotted cream and dulce de leche + peanut, and the naranja agria/berries + guanabana. The little room off to the side has AC if you're looking to escape the heat a little bit.

Google
We had chocolate and coffee and biscotti flavors. Both were delicious. Went on Valentine’s (Friday) and wasn’t too long of a wait at all. Good price. We will be back there again!

Google
Visited after seeing it recommended by multiple people, they are right, it's filled with so many fun and diverse flavors. Try some of their unusual ones you will be surprised and amused.

Google
Very good ice cream. We liked the lemon and blackberry a lot, a nice mix, and the Cuban custard (flan), it had some crunchy bites that were very nice. The service was also very kind. We paid 105MXN for 2 scoops + 15MXN of whipped cream.

Google
The dragonfruit sorbet was great, but the gelati left something to be desired. It didn't have the creaminess I expect from gelato and the flavors were just a little bit off. It's very good, but not great. The staff was wonderful and the place is nice though. I'm almost sad to not be giving them five stars.

Google
Very tasty ice cream, nice chill (with music) atmosphere inside, with fan/AC on which is great escaping the heat. Staff took time to thoroughly explain the options, must visit.

Yelp
Amazing Gelato. Various flavors all good. My favorite is the peanut butter caramel chocolate chips. Cash only. Helado increíble. Varios sabores todos buenos. Mi favorito son las chispas de chocolate con caramelo y mantequilla de maní. Solamente efectivo.

Lovely flavors and a cute place!! Perfect for snacking on while walking the streets of Mérida! Cash only though

Yelp
Maybe I've been spoilt by really good gelato in my Italy travels, and also in London, and around the world... but if this was in Europe, it would probably score a 2 out of 5. Why? Because the ice cream itself was coarse, not smooth and creamy like it should be. And of the cost - 2 small scoops for 90 pesos! European prices! And the place to eat it in didn't have a great ambiance either. The flavours were OK. I tried the pumpkin one and the Cuban flan. Both were interesting, but not bursting with flavour. However, I have upgraded this to three stars, because in Merida it probably is the best option available for ice cream.

Yelp
THIS STUFF IS SO GOOD. And what's even better is that the staff are very friendly to those of us (*ahem*ME*ahem*) with limited vocabulary in Spanish. The shop was clean, air conditioned and spacious in the seating area. Great for a quick cool-down. 10/10 I recommend this spot to any and all visitors. Sam Approved

Yelp
Delicious local flavors and good AC! Cute vibe! Mango chili and pineapple chaya were so yummy

Yelp
The flavors are so fun & taste incredible. The blue cheese one is amazing. This place is a must while in Mérida!

Yelp
My boyfriend was really craving some gelato. It's really the only sweet thing he ever craves. So I went to the Yelp stratosphere to see what Merida had to offer. On our way home was this little gem. It had so many good reviews from Yelp I knew we couldn't pass it up. I loved the atmosphere of the place. Small, quaint, and to the point. They had a TON of unique flavors! Ill name some of the ones we tried that night: Kiwi, Mezcla de Mandarina y manzana, ChocoMango, Mamey(No idea what this was), Pinarindo(I think they said this was pineapple with peppermint?), Platano con Jamaica (Banana with hisbuics fruit?), Mojito, Taka, Ron Con Pasas, Moka, and the one I got that I LOVED Stracciatella. The Stracciatella is Italian, and I think its very basic- Just vanilla with chocolate chunks. But the taste was out of this world good! The girl behind the counter let us try as many as we wanted. She was so sweet and did her best to tell us what each thing was in English. Prices were great. And there was a decent amount of seating. The gelato was delicious!! I would definitely recommend this place for a nice, quick dessert at the end of the night.

Yelp
Amazing sorbets and a perfect refreshing treat on a hot evening. The flavor options are delicious and enjoyable for adults and kids! It also is an adorable space if you want to sit inside and enjoy your treats!

Yelp
I very rarely eat ice cream. I went to Pola three times in one week! I remembered a classmate recommended Pola when I was in Merida 3.5 years ago. I didn't make it there that trip. When I was in town recently, I decided to try it as I was walking by. I had the cacahuate con caramelo y chocochips twice. Delicious! I also tried the aceita de oliva con higos y almendra salada. Interesting flavor. If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend stopping by Pola. I hope to go back!

Yelp
We love Pola! It is the friendliest shop and has amazing gelato and sorbets. Try the Cubano Flan. Pet and family friendly.

Yelp
Excellent and varied. The blue cheese one was a step too far for me, but all the others were delicious.

Yelp
I enjoyed the crazy flavors available. My hubs had pork n beans gelato! Yuck to me as a veggie, but there's wild possibilities here! Nice girls, kinda warm inside, sweet, short walk from local food places on 60, but a nice walk.

Yelp
I had a few scoops here, and both were very good. First scoop was a mix of cherry and orange, and the second was a mix of chocolate stripe and vanilla gelato. I got the waffle cone that they made in house, and it had some sort of cinnamon in it. Overall, great stop!

Yelp
Great ice cream shop away from the Plaza de Independencia with creative flavors and very helpful staff. You can try any flavors you want! On Mondays they serve a Pork and Beans flavor which tasted much better than it sounds.

Yelp
Very friendly and the gentleman who served us spoke perfect English. The Gelatos are dairy-free and they also have ice cream :) Fair Prices and unique flavors. Perfect for a hot day!

Yelp
This place was amazing! We were craving something sweet and this place hit the spot. I recommend you try the Hora(blackberry).

Yelp
Great place for a nice ice cream snack in the evening. We have been here twice and we have always been pleased. Staff is quite young but quite helpful and attentive.

Yelp
Amazing gelato shop! Great flavors and great texture. I had the passion fruit gelato and my friend had the chocolate

Yelp
Unique flavors, great location in Centro, an opportunity to rest your legs and cool down for a few minutes, they have two small rooms of seating and a restroom. The lefthand counter is gelato and the righthand counter is sorbet; it's 30 pesos for one scoop or 50 for two, your choice of cone or cup. If you get cup you have the option of having a waffle cone chip added for free. You can also sample flavors to help you decide. I went three times during my vacation and many of the flavors changed. I LOVED-LOVED the chili-chocolate which was a deep rich chocolate and a nice peppery tingle in the back of the throat, also really enjoyed the Cubano flan and the chai tea. I was meh about the tiramisu, it wasn't very rich and tasted a bit freezer burned. Very friendly girl at the counter, and understood my mix of gestures and English.

Rebe B.

Yelp
Great Mexican flavors, everything I've tried is delicious. The gelatos are very creamy and flavourful. My favorites were the almond with orange and flan gelatos. The tamarind with mezcal and chili sorbet was good but it was quite spicy!

Yelp
Service is great, gelato very fresh and tasty. Try the spresso coffee with chocolate and raspberry ice cream.

Yelp
This is delicious ice cream! The chocolate is good, not dark, but not super sweet and with cinnamon :)

Yelp
Super delicious gelato with unique flavours. We had the rosemary lime, and the peanut butter chocolate chip. So tasty!

Erika F.

Yelp
What a joyful place! The flavors are remarkable: natural and clean, not too sweet. This goes for both the gelato (strawberry and coconut+raisin+almond were my favorites) and the sorbet (I favored the mango and guanabana). The staff (a young guy named Isaac and Oliverio, who I think is an owner) were so friendly! Bilingual Spanish/English and happy to give lots of tastes. They also have good recommendations for what's going on around the neighborhood. Pro tip: Grab a large cone and head to the square around the corner for people watching. (Note: I'm 7 months pregnant and definitely have a thing for ice cream. We tried the other gelato place around the corner, Porque No, as well. Porque No has a larger footprint, nice garden, and more flavors on display. We found the flavors, though, to be not to our liking: artificially flavored and overly sweet, and the texture was kind of gummy.)

Yelp
The gelato here is amazing! So refreshing in such a hot place. I loved the coffee and the sour orange sorbet. I ate here four times while on a six day vacation. Totally worth return trips!!

Yelp
If I could give it 7 stars I would. Gelato was amazing and the service was beyond excellent. We left and came back 2 hours later for seconds (don't judge me). It was that good. The server spoke very good English which helped as we spoke limited Spanish. Very chill ambiance.

Yelp
So many wonderful, unique gelatos and so little time left in Mérida! Got a preview taste of the lemon rosemary that goes out as soon as the yummy coconut almond is finished. Will try the espresso with bola of chai tea next as the espresso with bola of cardamon is really special. Amelia, born in Poland, grew up in New Jersey, and is proud to be living in Mérida. Grab a cono and head to nearby Santa Lucia park to savor.

Rachel S.

Yelp
The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful! There are so many unique and creative flavors to try. I loved the rosemary lime, but I've heard the salted caramel is fantastic as well- must get in the homemade cones too! Without a doubt, it is definitely worth multiple visits!

Yelp
We were here almost every day for a month and tried all the flavors - avocado and mint/lime are the two best! The guys who work here are awesome.

Dharmisima C.

Yelp
Wonderful flavors, great ambiance, and super friendly service. Homemade, creative flavors like coconut lemonade, mango con chile, chocolate con chile, and avocado to name a few. A must-visit gelateria in Mérida.
