I love a lot of things about Policy, but definitely keep going back because of their great ambiance and consistently excellent service. I've been to Policy for brunch, dinner, and nights out with my friends, and have had a great experience every time. They recently changed their menu too, and I absolutely love everything that I have tried. Some of my favorites so far are the lamb sliders and sweet potato gnocchi! They also have $15 bottomless mimosas for brunch on Sunday, and they are great about keeping the rounds coming! Make sure you go to Policy for their night life too - great music and dancing. The DJ is awesome, and always plays throwbacks and dance hits. All in all, very happy with this establishment and will keep going back.

Been here twice, once for dinner and the other for brunch. Bartender was friendly. Dinner was only small pricey plates. Upstairs had a dance floor which was pretty fun. Brunch was AMAZING. I had $14 bottomless mimosas and a steak. Servers were awesome and we really had a great time!

Policy is one of my favorite restaurant/lounges in the city. It's great for brunch, dinner or late night drinks. It's also my favorite place for dancing - the DJ is fantastic!!! My friends and I always pick Policy for our girls night out. They also just opened their outdoor patio for summer...great spot for happy hour.

Very new York style look, and feel. The cocktails attempt to be speak easy boutique style but miss the mark. Still, and sadly, its the best I've found in dc. Food was all unique but amateur. Ground brisket? Why grind it? It tasted like ground beef. Ground pork taste like... Nothing, how about marinating or smoking something, anything? Pink pork? Let's cook it k? Short rib had a nice texture and natural buttery fat flavor bit nothing else, not even smoke. These guys are half way to being what the atmosphere claims to be.

What happens at brunch stays at brunch. Huge fan of bottomless mimosas and this place does just that! Keep it up Policy!

But certainly 5 stars for food and service... Dinner on a Friday night was outstanding! Ordered a second entree of bison braised ribs with quinoa, because the first was that damn good. Suffice it to say, of the 6 different dishes we ate (two of the them we ordered twice), each was impressively delicious. Bringing the ratings down were the ambient noise and music. It was way too loud.

The food at Policy never disappoints. Each and every dish tastes like it is prepared with a lot of time, effort and care. This last time that I went I got to enjoy the gnocchi which is to die for, as well as the brisket sliders which were unbelievable. I never thought I would like quail egg on my burger but the combination is delicious.

This is one of my favorite places in DC. I celebrated my 25th birthday here. I ordered a table to celebrate and the manager gave me a pretty affordable deal. The atmosphere was relaxed, the music was good, and the servers brought out champagne bottles with lighters! I had a fabulous time with all of my friends who got into the club on my list with no problems. Check out the decor - it's super awesome. I returned to DC earlier this year and met up with a friend for happy hour. The place is still super classy and chill. I'm happy they serve sweet tea vodka!
