"Many consider it just a hangover remedy, but the tripe soup ($8.50) found at this quaint Polish cafe in Greenpoint is spectacular in the subtlety of its flavorings." - Robert Sietsema
Very tasty Polish foods, traditional home- cooked meals, a large selection of dishes, affordable prices.
I recommend trying it. 👍👍👍

Delicious food just like your Polish mama would cook it. One of very few (Pyza being the second one I know of) remaining such places in Greenpoint. A little stuck in the past, could use some better upkeep - one star down. Food is very authentic and freshly cooked, cafeteria style served. Not a romantic spot, but good/ best for a hearty meal.

Love this place. Know very little of Polish culture, but I know good food when I have it. But my bf is of Russian/Ukranian decent and when I introduced him to it, he said, "oh yeah, I'll be coming here a lot."
