Polish Sea League

This place is an absolute gem. It’s an old-school, no-frills place with a great atmosphere and friendly, welcoming bartenders and patrons. I’d imagine that this place probably hasn’t changed much in many, many years, which is a good thing. The bartender Zke was very kind and generous with his time, sharing lots of tips and local information about Hamtramck. A great establishment all around!

Nice little family-owned bar in hamtramck me in the wife went and everybody was very friendly they had the Detroit tigers on and the beverages were cold and the service was great if you're in the area Detroit or hamtramck definitely check them out

Not a favorite, the place was weird to have a band play, not the right space at all. The drinks were very expensive, and watered down. The bartender barely added any caption to my drink, that cost me 8.00..

One of my favorite little dive bars. They sell a membership but I’ve never paid for it I am usually walking past and beckoned in by friendly drunk people lol a real community hub.

Come as a stranger and leave as family. Great neighborhood bar with the come-as-you-are vibe. Friendly staff and phenomenal pricing. Pool table, video gaming, Touch Tunes and big screen TVs. Depending on the time of night and bartender working, you could be watching a game, Jeopardy or the Gilmore Girls. That’s just how they roll here though. Big shindigs on Tiger Opening Day, Paczki Day 5K, Paczki Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Detroit City Football Club home games.

Most friendly bar I've been to. Hamtramck prices. First class family owned. Never a problem. My grandfather probably patronized the P S L in the 30's til he departed in 1958. May even have sold them his Evaline street stilled whiskey! Stop in, tell 'Em a Greyhound (St. Lads) sent you!

My go to Friday night routine . It's a private members only establishment. The staff is amazing and always a good crowd

We had a great time here on Fat Tuesday! We are starting some new traditions and breaking away from some of the places we typically go to on Fat Tuesday. This was a great spot! We got delicious Polish beer and some perogies and a Polish sausage. He brought me plenty of sour cream too (it's the small but thoughtful gestures that mean the most!). I gobbled up the perogies and tried a bite of his sausage. Yum!! As usual, we had an amazing day! Can't wait to do it again next year!!!

A paczki day visit, soo of course it was hopping. Most of the staff was so good, encountered one young lady who seemed very irritated,that the crowds were large. A food truck outside with all the typical polish fixings. A back room, with a pool table gave you room to breathe- In case you are claustrophobic! Still fun !

Cozy, friendly neighborhood bar. Make sure to definitely stop by when Hipp Jr. Is bartending, you wont br disappointed!

Best dive I've frequented in Hamtramck. Envision myself watching Poland play in the Euro or the World Cup here someday next to some people from the old county. What the hell is a Sea League anyway? Is it a unit of measurement or a fraternity of mariners? Either way, it's legit.

What a great neighborhood Private Club-bar ! Always a smiling face behind the bar and plenty of friendly folks in the place. If you are lucky, you might see Jumpin' Joe Karpinski there. This WAS your grandfather's bar - now that he is dead, its for the youngsters/hipsters. You are always welcome here, but behave - it is actually a private club that allows guests. Always a good friendly time - and if you are Polish - - you will love the place. Be sure to buy one of their shirts - they are famous in Detroit.
