"Best known as the wood-roasted chicken spot that you can smell from a quarter-mile away, Pollo A La Brasa Vermont is the older sibling of the extremely popular Peruvian-style chicken spot in Koreatown, Pollo A La Brasa Western. Much like that location, there's a huge glass wall in the kitchen, where you can watch hundreds of golden chickens slowly roasting on spits. Quarter, half, or whole birds—which come with sides like fries, beans, or salad—are every bit as salty and juicy as you want the rotisserie chicken to be. If you're dining in, you may have to borrow a bottle of the spicy green aji sauce from the table next to you, but it's what you should be smothering your chicken in anyway." - brant cox, nikko duren, kat hong, garrett snyder, sylvio martins

If you are in the mood for some really good rotisserie chicken don’t think twice and just GOO!! Although they have 2 locations (in KTOWN) I think this location KILLS that one!! They both taste good don’t get me wrong but for some reason it’s MUCHHHH better here in the Gardena location! There is seating inside but minimal prolly good for about 10-15 people?!

The roasted chicken at this place is amazing. The chicken is very tender and juicy and the aji sauce is very flavorful and juicy. I ordered the half chicken with fries and salad. The salad had beets that was good. The fries were also good. My friend got rice and commented that it was a bit dry. They also have antitcucho (beef hearts) as an item. The staff was very nice and helpful in cleaning the tables and getting out order, food and amenities. The space is a bit small with 5 tables max and parking is very limited. But overall great spot to get some Peruvian chicken.

Have been going to this place for years. Their chicken and green sauce are still consistently high quality after all these years. Love their French fries too. Don’t know what else to say other than if you’re feeling like DELICIOUS wood-fired chicken, give it a try. You won’t regret it.

This is a great takeout place for my family. Whenever there are 5 or more gathered we come here to order their chicken since their portions are big and their prices are reasonable. Because the chicken is slow cooked on wood fire the meat is so juicy and just falls off the bone. Also, we grab tons of aji sauce, because that sauce goes well with everything.

The food was really bad today!! The chicken was dry, probably reheated from earlier!!! The anticuchos also were very dry and and overcooked. Definitely wont come back again. It is very sad because it was really good before. We were only able to eat the salad, fires and corn!!

Best Peruvian flavored chicken!! -You gotta get your Aguadito for hangover 😝 -For one you have the lunch special 1/4 chicken with two side orders + small Drink. (Around $12) -And don’t forget to take Alfajores. -for parking I’d suggest the back side.

Rice, fries, sauce had no taste. The chicken was the only thing with flavor. Not coming back here again. Make sure to bring your own hand soap because the one in their restroom smelled like rotten egg.

Very disappointing experience. Yesterday, I went with my wife and daughters to get some rotisserie chicken. As we were leaving, a man approached me and kindly asked if I could get him something to eat—he wasn’t asking for money or alcohol, just food. I told him, “Of course,” and brought him in to order a meal. When the staff saw him, they claimed they didn’t have any chicken ready, even though it was clear there was plenty being served. One of them said, “It’s for the homeless guy,” and I replied, “Yes, but I’m paying for it.” I insisted on paying for the $12 plate with the sides included, and they reluctantly agreed but told me it would take a long time. I asked the man to wait patiently for number 79 and sit quietly. As we were leaving, I saw the man being told to wait outside instead of inside. He didn’t smell bad or cause any trouble—he simply looked like someone who needed help. When we got home, we found our chicken was undercooked (red on the inside), and I had to finish cooking it in our air fryer. But worse than the food was the attitude of the staff—Latino workers who seemed to act like they owned the place, showing zero kindness or basic respect. That was our last visit. The chicken at Sam’s Club or Pollo Inka is far better in both quality and service. I truly hope the man received his meal, but it was sad to witness such a lack of compassion. God sees everything, and people who treat others poorly will eventually be held accountable. ❌👎 Hay seres humanos que hablan de Jesús pero aun no entienden que significa amarse los unos a los otros. Que lastima.
