Is this place serving the best chicken in San Salvador or the whole of El Salvador? I heard it is I had to come and try. It serves flame grilled chicken but not the normal fried chicken.
I was there early and the queue was quite long already. The take away queue was long but the dine in queue was quite okay, however the tables on the ground floor were already all occupied.
A lot of grumpy ladies working here so don't really expect good service but in general was okay. Turned out to be a drama for me because I appeared with a 100USD note and they didn't want to accept. They asked me to go exchange for small change at the supermarket which also rejected and in the end directed me to visit a bank. So I returned back 2 hours later and the queue was even longer than before.
This time round one of the ladies recognized me and prepared my food rather quickly. I went to the upper floor since the ground floor was packed and upstairs was pretty quiet.
I have to say the chicken is well grilled and still pretty juicy, and the seasoned cabbage is definitely a good complement to the chicken. However the potato chips and the bread are totally weird items to be included in the meal.
When I left the restaurant the takeaway line was already chaotic. I guess that speaks how popular this restaurant is.

During rush hour this place gets pretty busy because it's the only one of its kind in Centro historico San Salvador, but with that being said, It is worth the wait, because this is the original rotisserie chicken in San Salvador

It's grilled chicken and it's pretty good, although it was slightly burned. Not something to write home about but if you feel like rotisserie then this is the place.

Pollo Bonanza is the best grilled chicken ever.
Juicy, tender, savoury and best of all, cheap.
Simply put, if you come to San Salvador, just don't show off jewelry or your expensive phone and come to enjoy Pollo Bonanza.
By far better than Pollo Campero 😉

Famous rotisserie chicken. The taste is not as awesome as many people claim but it's good and most importantly it's cheap. The place is full most of the time and it's a popular restaurant. They sell exclusively chicken
The place has limited seating and no parking but there are parking lots near by. No other branches available.

It was so good! We were visiting from out of the country and wanted something that wasn't touristy. The food was amazing and prices were great. We got the family meal and it was huge portions for about $5 a person. The parking is a little tricky, but it was worth it!
