Food and service was really good. I've been to a few Pollo Bravo places and I never had a bad meal or service. I've tried several things on the menu but as far as protein their chicken is really super good. It's very tender & moist. I highly recommend their yuca fries or "cassava". I've eaten yuca fries a lot & various places but Pollo Bravo has the best.

This is my only second Peruvian restaurant I’ve gone to in Houston. I do like that it’s a fusion between Mexican and Peruvian. Has its own style. All the dishes I had were incredible, including the Aguadito de pollo and el pollo Asasdo but what I think really stands aside is their unique sauces. A sweet mango sauce and a delicious green sauce. Give it a try. Best of both worlds.

Google
Tried the “pollo bravo” at this chicken place, honestly it was disappointing and just blah. It’s basically rotisserie chicken that tastes ok. Beans taste ok. Rice tasted kind of shrimpy. Green spicy sauce tasted like salad dressing. NO TORTILLAS!!! What???!!! I didn’t know Peruvians don’t eat tortillas with their rotisserie chicken. I have been thinking about trying this place every time I drive through Pearland. Should’ve gone where I always go in Pearland. Restaurant is nice and colorful and clean. Service was ok. Needless to say I will not be back. Sorry

Google
Amazing! Top 1% restaurant reviewer here: Go enjoy a delicious meal! I had a satisfying dinner in a relaxing casual, clean environment. The chicken was tender and juicy. My sides were avocado salad and Mexican rice. My wife had white rice and sweet fried plantains. They were delicious too. The salsa was unbelievable! You owe it to yourself to swing by. I highly recommend this new restaurant.

Google
Our Lomo saltado was delicious, and the meat was soft and flavourful. The chicken was not dry and had good flavor. Service was great and attentive. Definitely coming back.

We came in with a party of 20 and they accommodated us and my disabled brother. They were amazing and even with one server we had a great time. The food was DELICIOUS !! Will definitely be returning.

If you haven’t visited Pollo Bravo, you need to stop what you’re doing a run here! The minute you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a warm welcome. You can pick wherever you’d like to sit, and the waitress will bring you a menu. We usually start with the green plantains and the crispy taquitos. Each time I come (which is quite often), I try something different. Their food is always fresh and made to order. Their prices are fair and the quality of their food is out of this world! They are also family friendly, and have a kid’s menu. I have yet to be disappointed and I know you will feel the same, so the next time you are wanting to try something different bring your entire family!

Google
Nasima, Maju and Juana are awesome servers. Made us feel like royalties. Food is great, though we are not able to try all, we will definitely come back!!!

Yelp
Went for lunch with some co-workers and this is certainly an unexpected gem. We got the bravo combo and shared, family style. It came with their signature chicken, the salchipapa, and an avocado salad. Service was great, frequently checked in, and split the check without fuss. It's a small and cozy place, nothing particularly fancy. The chicken was extremely tender and juicy, well-seasoned and delicious. The fries were nice and crispy. The sausage didn't add anything in particular besides extra salt. The avocado salad was good as well, something a little healthy amongst everything else. I wish I had opted to try their dessert because it looked yummy.

Yelp
Best roasted chicken. Very moist and flavorful. Lots of side options. Didn't really care about the sides. Plantains and yuca are very standard everywhere you go and it wasn't any different here. The green sauce served with the chicken is the bomb. The place was clean, service was pretty fast and food was fresh. Will come back for chicken!

Yelp
Move over Sam's Club rotisserie chicken! I love Peruivian chicken and this spot does it very well. I love the half dark with rice, beans and plantains - they also have drink specials and they are not shy with the pours! I have enjoyed the food both times I have been there, very good pricing too. 2025 BIG BACK APPROVED!!!

Yelp
I come here often. Can't beat their rotisserie chicken and yucca fries and it's priced very reasonably. The even have a lunch menu!

Yelp
Been seeing this place for a while heading to Pearland on 288 freeway so finally decided to check it out. When you walk in, you can order at the counter for to go orders or if dining in, you take a seat at a table and a server comes to take and serve your order. Our server was great and very attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu - chicken, beef, seafood (pictures attached). But I believe their specialty is chicken. My husband and I shared the 1/2 chicken "Mini Combos" for $14.99 and paid $1 extra for all white meat. It comes with 2 sides and we chose Mexican rice and red beans. A picture is attached. Everything had a really good flavor however, the chicken was somewhat dry. I still enjoyed it. They have both a red and green sauce. I tried both and liked them. Overall, great value. They have happy hour. Kind of strange hours, it's on Thursdays and Saturdays from 3-7pm and an all day Monday special. Pic of menu that includes both is attached. They also have lunch specials (menu pic attached). It's a nice airy and clean place. They also have a bar (pics attached). I'm looking forward to trying it again

Yelp
Great restaurant here in pearland we hadn't tried before! The lomo saltado was delicious, loved the happy hour margaritas, and they have a kids menu as well. We went a bit early around 6pm and no crowd, but saw many people taking to go.

Lorlyn S.

Yelp
Ok I ordered a full chicken but did not receive full order!! I saw the lady cut up freshly cooked chicken in the back kitchen and left out half of the chicken breast, particularly the part with the wing. Why? If i paid for a whole chicken??!!!

Yelp
When we were back in the east coast it was always easy to find a peruvian dinner as there were a good amount of peruvian restos around our place. When we moved to Houston i was surprised to find only a handful of peruvin places. Was super happy when we stumbled upon this. This hits out peruvian chicken cravings! We always order to go.

Yelp
Got the M-W lunch special today and it is 5 stars! comes with white or mexican rice and red beans- delicioso. I chose the mexican rice and it was tasty but note it has cilantro for you soap tasters. The chicken breast was so juicy and definitely was marinated with love. Last but not least the waitress was very nice and attentive. Will be going back and often.

Yelp
Food was amazing! The staff was very friendly. It was first time in and I asked for suggestions. Thank you Alicia for your service today. "Monday Lunch Special $10 a piece. Had to try the 1/4 chicken as well as the taquitos". Loved the atmosphere and the decor. Amazing!

Yelp
I was driving home one day and out of the corner of my eye I saw that a Pollo Bravo had just opened off of 288! This was a nice surprise as I've checked them out at their Houston location in years past. Pollo Bravo is a Mexican and Peruvian restaurant. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff. This is the mark of a good start for a new business. The restaurant is well-designed and I liked the decor. After being seated and asking for their WiFi, I started off with an Inca Cola---a popular Peruvian soft drink. From there, since I wasn't too hungry, I went with the taquitos appetizer. While it's an appetizer, it's a generous portion: three large chicken and beef taquitos smothered in sour cream and tomatillo sauce. While the waiter wasn't as attentive as I would have liked, she was friendly. Peruvian food is highly underrated and one of my favorite cuisines. So nice to finally have a Peruvian restaurant in Pearland!

Yelp
I went and ordered takeout for their Peruvian and Mexican food. They are popular for their rotisserie chicken so I ordered 1/2 chicken with 2 sides (spicy cassava and plantains). I also ordered lomo saltado and alfajores (was fresh). They are all so delicious. The owner, Emma, was nice to explain some of the menu items to me. I'll definitely come back for more.

Yelp
As a Peruvian I've been coming here for the longest. I had no issues of obtaining an extra salsa/aji. Today I was told I had to be charged 60 cents for an extra one, I was only given one, what's the difference if I were to sit down and keep asking for more aji/salsa? how can I enjoy two plates of food with only one sauce. If you want to keep customers coming I'd consider to not be stingy with condiments.

Vincent M.

Yelp
The Lomo Saltado had good flavor but the beef was very tough. After 3 pieces that I pretty much just chewed on and spit out, I asked for chicken. The waitress was nice but told me that I would have to pay for the beef meal because she couldn't take it off the ticket. Never heard of anything like this before. I didn't come for free food, I came for a good meal. The bad thing is that I ordered this per her recommendation. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Nice addition to the pearland food round up. Definitely a few notches above that dud called Pollo tropical. Service here is AMAZING. Very sweet folks and professional. The inside of the restaurant is clean and cozy. The food...chicken was very good. I still used the green sauce but even without sauce, it was a smash. The pianono dessert was strange to me. Way too dense and sweet. Definitely a diabetics worst nightmare (or dream come true?). The beans were ok. Not very flavorful. But I've noticed a lot of places keep beans mildly seasoned. Not sure y. The cassava fries were piping hot and fresh. But unfortunately, I asked for the spicy ones. Dont be like me. The spicy ones come with a coat of red something. All I tasted was extreme salty. It was actually inedible. One last point...probably call ahead. I waited about 15 or 20 mins for my food because I ordered in house. Not bad. No complaints because food was hot and fresh. But I imagine if it has been a weekend (I went on a Tues I believe and restaurant was emptyish), it would have been closer to a 45min wait. Final grade: Solid B+ I'd definitely go back whenever I am craving some Peruvian chicken.

Yelp
Pollo Bravo gets 5 stars from me! They tout their menu as being Hybrid Peruvian food and Mexican food as well. Aiming for healthier food, I loved that the chicken was rotisserie style and that everything was so fresh and delicious. I ended up here randomly leaving a visit in Pearland after my sister there pointed it out as a place she also wanted to try. The Gordos Combo was plentiful for my family of 3 and I will definitely try the one that I now located closer to home! As I briefly waited for my order to be ready, I walked around and checked out the place, it is clean and beautifully decorated showing cultural pieces throughout. There is also a cute small bar area and plenty parking out front. Service was great and the staff was very well organized. Menu is a nice size and I do look forward to trying out other options when I visit again.

Yelp
Love their food so much! Crispy tacos are a must! The Lomo saltado is delicious and pairs well with an Inca cola!

Yelp
So I guess I've been sleeping on this place , I can't believe I haven't stopped in sooner . I absolutely love Peruvian food and this place did not disappoint . I decided to go with the roasted chicken , red beans , and salchipapa and it was wonderful . Great service , friendly staff , and good prices . Definitely worth a try if you're in the area .

Yelp
Food and service was great Lots of seating so they can handle big groups. Busy restaurant so get there early.

Yelp
Service was so friendly but the food quality is disappointing. The chicken was well seasoned but dry. The salad was lacking seasoning. And I thought the fries were good, but the hotdog combination didnt enhance it much. Caveat that this may have been a traditional dish in the region, but something I found unusual.

Jaimee M.

Yelp
Service was great, and food was even greater! 10/10 The pesto fettuccine was just right on flavor and the chicken was juicy and tender.

Alessia S.

Yelp
I came here for lunch and I will say, the food was amazing! My mom and I shared a 1/2 chicken with 2 sides and the taquitos. If you're in the area and are looking for some good Peruvian place this will be your spot

Yelp
Good food and great, friendly service. I especially like the quesadilla de pollo and their sweet plantains. Their tallarines verdes is also very good

Yelp
I've been a fan of this restaurant since 2016. I'm so happy they have a location in Pearland now . Food is fresh, super flavorful. I've had the same waitress twice & she is so attentive & friendly; I feel welcome every time I come in.

Yelp
The rotisserie chicken and the arroz chaufa (rice) is so good, I probably could eat the rice by itself. Everytime I come the hostess always greets me with a smile and she knows her customer, because she remembers what I get when I do the out. The ambiance is pleasant, one day I will dine in.
google avatar

Dee B.

Yelp
The name doesn't do this place justice but its decor and ambience is excellent! The staff is courteous and helpful with the menu. Perfect spot for dinner or a quick hearty meal to go. Peruvian + Mexican cuisine excellent fusion of flavors. Will be returning soon for happy hour.

Yelp
Came in with my Sister and Dad for lunch & omg WOW!First time having Peruvian food and it did not disappoint. I'm sad we didn't take pictures of our food lol we were too excited to try. We ordered the Tallarines Verdes, Camarones A La Bravo, and 1/2 chicken with 2 sides. SO MUCH FLAVOR. The chicken ohmygaah is so juicy. Definitely come try this place out. Our waiter Yadira was amazing and the owner Emma was so sweet. We will be for sure coming back!
