So many flavors. The cocktails were remarkable. The chicken was perfect (we got extra to bring home and enjoy later). The brunch was excellent. The service was very friendly. Decor was very cool. Overall my favorite new find in a very long time. We will be back.

Definitely the hands down best fried chicken in Massachusetts that I have had the pleasure of eating! Ordered the half chicken and it was almost literally a chicken that was cut in half. I was super impressed because most places would give less for more. The drinks here were pretty good too! The cookie for dessert was a little burnt and the milk that came along looked/tasted weird.

Ordered online for pickup (through their website - not a third party). They did not have my order ready and didn't even know I had ordered as they had not checked the system for an online order. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after my arrival (total wait time after ordering was a little over an hour). The chicken was great, crispy and flavorful - but the sides left something to be desired. I wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes and there was only a tiny bit of gravy. They almost tasted like instant potatoes. The mac and cheese was good but not creamy, VERY cheesy though! You could see the string of cheese with each bite! I'm visiting the area and wanted to try local food. Not sure I would try this a second time.

Outstanding all around, the food, the environment and the service. We were greeted before the door even closed behind us. We (party of 2) sat at the bar. Immediately and warmly greeted. The food menu is small, but packs a bunch. We had the fried chicken, biscuits, with some killer sauces...also had the hash browns to start. The food came out quickly and was hot. The manager, Alex, was moving from table to table to ensure the guest were having a great experience. His eye was on everything, from clearing plates to watching the door, to ensuring the guest felt welcomed. I will be back! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

I never thought I needed a fried chicken specialty restaurant in my life until after going to Pollo Club. The large dark was amazing. Perfectly crispy and juicy. The #7 hot sauce and honey butter we're two sauces that complimented each other well. They have a small (in comparison to other places on Moody) but delicious beer selection - and even armed with only a cordial license, are able to craft interesting and artistic cocktails. 5/5 will be back. As with all Moody St restaurants parking can be difficult but there are multiple parking lots just off the main drag. Trust me you'll want to walk this meal off before you go to bed. 💪💪🍗🍗

The pollo club is offering a limited pickup menu during the shut down. We got the 8 piece chicken dinner and it made our night! Best fried chicken in the league. So fresh - and all of the sides were great! Will definitely be back. Thank you for being open!!!

Nothing was fresh. Everything seemed to be reheated. Mac and cheese was lacking flavor and gelatinous, chicken was dry (but very flavorful) pickled veggies were very sweet, and the biscuits were so dry that they were inedible. The sauces are delicious, if I could bottle up the honey butter sauce to go I would.

Verdict: pretty good, especially if you live in Waltham. Got here on a Friday night at around 6pm and it was PACKED. We were a party of 2 and waited about 45 minutes, pretty much exactly what the hostess promised, and there was ample (albeit cramped) seating in the front area of the restaurant. Overall, it's a tightly-knit space with a long bar along the left and tables (mostly for 2-4 people, so don't come with a massive group) along the right. Once seated, we ordered the gruyere mac and cheese, the minted snap peas, and the large dark (two thighs, two legs, a biscuit, and two sauces). The mac and cheese was heavenly, creamy and rich and just a little spicy, fairly reminiscent of the mac and cheese at Buttermilk and Bourbon in downtown Boston. The minted snap peas were fresh and crisp, very high quality produce for the end of the season, and a great counterpoint for the comparatively heavier food we ordered. The fried chicken was good -- the breading was tasty although just a smidge soggy in places and the meat inside was generally pretty moist and flavorful, although parts of it were a little dry. The biscuit was solid as well -- the honey butter was a solid accompaniment, although not quite as good as the biscuits and honey butter found at Sweet Cheeks. Overall, weirdly, my favorite thing was the gochujang ketchup, which was tomato-y and sweet and spicy, just a great sauce to go with the chicken. Our bill ended up being $41 after tax and tip for 2. Service was fast and friendly, and the drink list did look interesting although we abstained. They're still early days, so their dessert menu was a bit light -- just s'mores and ice cream -- but hopefully that will expand in the coming weeks. Overall, worth a visit. Not the best fried chicken I've had in the greater Boston area, and if you're not up for the 30-minute drive plus wait from Boston proper, you could probably get similarly awesome food at Sweet Cheeks or Coast Cafe, but still -- quite a fun place with a great vibe!
