Hello again Pollo tropical is a great meal the 2 piece chicken with your choice or white rice or regular and black bean is perfect for $4.99. And the saucing island is great try the pinapple rum salsa wow what a flavor.

This location is so slow for a fast food place. I've gone here about 4 different times thinking maybe this time would be different but it's the same story every time: slow service and then the orders are wrong on top of that adding more time. Just drive to the Beltline @ Montfort location; they'll treat you right, serve you fast, you get more bang for your buck, and they won't mess up your order.

1016 Preston Rd, Plano, TX 75093 Last night I spent 18 minutes going through the drive thru at this location. To the best of my recollection, this is the longest it has ever taken to go through a drive thru in 40 years of fast food. When I got to the window, my order was not ready and I was asked to pull up and wait another 5 minutes for the order to be brought out to me. When I complained about the time it took to go through the drive thru, the employee suggested I complain to the home office. When I got home, the 2 chicken quesadilla wraps I had paid for were not in the take out bag nor were the 3 cilantro sauces I had asked for. My wife went back and got the chicken quesadilla wraps that were not included but there was no refund or any effort made to make up for this mistake which wasted about 25 minutes of our lives to go back and come home again. Pretty sad! They don’t understand the concept of customer service! I love their food and plantains but enough is enough!

Slowest 'fast food' experience... One visit, the place looked like there were no customers during lunch hour and i was the only one in the drive through... It still took 15mins to get my order! And it was wrong at that! Ive gone back a handful of times and its the same service. Wrong order every single time and slow. Also, their yuca and bread tasted over a day old.

THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE! Horrible experience at drive thru and the food was worse. Took time to call customer service phone number. Left extensive, constructive comments almost 20 min. with nice person. Thought that was the end of it. Suprisingly, got a phone call two days later from the GM of the Preston Rd. store. I reitterated my concerns and critique to him and he promissed to address the issues and said he was sending "coupons" to us for our trouble. I said totally unneccesary but he insisted. Three weeks later... umm. Crickets. Nothing. Not even an offer to refund our meal. This guy is in Management and can't even follow through with a simple task? Keep the coupons, guy. I would NEVER eat at Pollo again.

Their pork is very good, but their tomatoes and onion salad is fantastic. I will not pass by a Pollo Tropical without getting a large order of their Tomato and Onion salad (I actually go out of my way to pickup a larger order).

Interesting flavors and concept for a drive through place. The food was good but I haven't been back so it didn't make me crave it. Nothing bad to say, maybe just not my thing.

I will never come to this location again! Barely any customers were here but still sat in the drive thru for over 15 min (2cars) only to place the same order again at the window because he didn't know what came with the chicken breast platter, so add another 8 minutes to my wait...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
