⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we walked into Pollos Rocoto Chifa Pollería, the experience was outstanding! Our waitress Britnney was incredibly attentive, and the same goes for Johnatan and Lira, they made sure we were always taken care of with a smile. The kitchen team, led by Chef Jimmy, truly surpassed our expectations. Every dish was prepared with care, flavor, and authenticity: ☆The ceviche de camarones was absolutely spectacular, fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced. ☆The shrimp causa was phenomenal, a true explosion of flavor in every bite. ☆The arroz chaufa with shrimp was top-notch, perfectly seasoned and satisfying. ☆The lomo saltado was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and incredibly delicious. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Florida. From the exceptional service to the incredible food, everything was flawless. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. 👏 Big thanks to the entire team, service and food here are truly top-notch!

Literally the best chicken I have ever tested and I have tested so many pollos from different restaurants and let me tell you this one was the best it was amazing !! I really love the sauces that they make for the chickens , everything was just great !! And the owners are so sweet as wells as the servers 10 out of 10 !!

AVOID! Pollo Rocoto offers 0% customer service. Very disappointing experience for the second time. I don't know why I thought to give it another try. Food wait times are EXTREMELY long. Waitress I had didn't care at all that we were waiting for a long time and she never checked on us. Restaurant is too small for the amount of tables they have inside. I tried the Jalea seafood dish which was not the greatest. Parking is the worst as we had to park at the skating rink next door. AVOID this place at all cost. Soo frustrating!! ON TOP OF ALL THIS I WAS CHARGED a credit card SERVICE AND GRATUITY WAS INCLUDED. Gratuity??For what??? Horrific service?? Ridiculous! I would STRONGLY recommend Pollo Norkys which is right across the plaza.

This Peruvian restaurant has the best atmosphere. Great location and good atmosphere accompanied by music and polite service. The good is out of this world. I'm eager to try more Peruvian cuisine 😋

Love the expansion very needed room for more comfort. We've been here before but this is the first time I'm leaving a review because now I can speak for the food, service and atmosphere. We went on a Monday for lunch and we got all the dishes pictured below. It's a great deal when you get the lunch menu for $10 you get an appetizer (we got soup) and the entree. These can definitely satisfy you if you can eat all that, we took some home. We also got the fried rice with chicken and pork and it was probably the best of all we got. Generous portions and you can also get desserts, my favorite was the combinado, the cake slice could've used a better sponge I don't know if it's a different style but not impressed with it. Usually torta helada also have some fruits on it but this one didn't. Finally service was 9/10 they are friendly but got busy and I had to ask for the check twice and actually stand up and pay which is not a problem but it was a slow check out. That said we will be back, now with more tables is easier to eat in there and enjoy the yummy food.

Best Peruvian restaurant i have gone to. The waitresses are nice and courteous. Of course there will be a wait, good food takes time to cook people!!! If you don't want to wait, go to Mc Donalds. Prices are decent and the atmosphere is very diligent.

I order food from this place, my food came spilled all over the bag. I've always order from here always go to the restaurant and eat. the manager there was really rude and disrespectful to me getting hung up in my face when I'm talking to her trying to tell me I have a lot of loyal customer when I told her I'm leaving a bad review because how my food is going to come spilled and you didn't even read the order note,not only these food in Uber Eats cost like 80 to 100 dollars and I'm always ordering from here for her to be so disrespectful and rude. All she wanted to do was blame somebody else instead of taking ownership of what they did. Didn't apologize once. I don't recommend this place they don't care about the customer service and how they treat people especially if they feel like you're not from their country and the sad part is that I am.

I’ve eaten here three times, and each visit has been a winner. Their ceviche is hands down the best in the Tampa Bay area—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If you love Peruvian food, this place is a must-try. The service is always friendly and on point, making for a top-notch dining experience every time. Honestly, I hope they never close, because I’ll keep coming back for that incredible ceviche!

Came here for the best of both worlds, chicken and seafood/fish. This place has chicken in their name so they better have good chicken. And yes their chicken did not disappoint. It was moist, flavorful and tasty. Ordered a half chicken and it comes with fries and salad. No changing those sides either. That's a bummer. Another place in the area has options for sides. But my husband enjoyed his chicken so that's good. I ordered Peruvian ceviche. It's my fave and it did not disappoint either, it was so big that I had it for three meals so I def got my money's worth. It comes with fish and shrimp and sweet potato and the soft corn and peanuts. It's very traditional and it is served in lime acid type base. It's so good and refreshing. We came in after being outside in the heat and this was perfect for me. The location is older but it's nice inside and a good amount of tables for groups and non groups. Our service was great and everyone was very welcoming.

Very good pollo a la brasa. This review is for delivery. I ordered via DoorDash, and the food arrived on time, hot, and reasonably well-packaged. We ordered a whole chicken, some white rice, french fries, sweet potato fries, plantains, and salad. The portions were good for the price. The fries were pretty soggy on arrival (they should have punched holes in the containers to help release the steam), but they did crisp up well in the air fryer. I thought the pollo was pretty good. Still pretty juicy, well-seasoned. Excellent yellow sauce, and the green sauce had a good kick. I think I prefer Cuenelli's, but the best restaurant is the open restaurant, and Cuenelli's closes too early. The chicken also keeps well and makes for an awesome sandwich the next day. I'll happily order from them again when I'm craving pollo a la brasa outside of Cuenelli's opening hours.

Best chicken ala brasas.... they have other dishes that are also tasty rice based. I drive from St Petersburg up to their location to get the chicken. Call ahead to reserve if you can as they can run out.

This must be THE place, we were trying to find the best roasted chicken in Tampa and I think we found it, we started with the ceviche carretillero mixto, it was delicious, very well balanced and seasoned, Peruvian Ceviche is one of my favorite things on earth, and this one was outstanding. My boyfriend got one of the soup and it was also sooo good, I tried a little bit and it was great! When we walked in they told us that we had to wait for the chicken at least half an hour, we decided to wait, and honestly it was sooo worth the wait, chicken was incredibly tasty and delicious! We also had to ordered one to go too.. Service is great overall, both servers on duty were so kind and on top of the table, I am definitely coming back for sure, next time I have to try their Lomo Salteado. Restaurant seems very clean, a little small but that actually made the place cozier. Best roasted chicken in Tampa.

Best Pollo Asado I've ever had!! I bought some food to go and it was super tasty and delicious, the Pollo asado came with French fries and a fresh salad. The place is small but has a good vibe. Service was good, just keep in mind that there's usually a long waiting time (specially on weekends) but definitely worth it.

Horrible customer service. My food came I'm destroy spilled all over the bag when I called there was no apology it like she didn't care blame it on somebody else horrible customer service when I asked to speak to a manager she told me I'm the manager I always order from them this is the third time that they have done this to me I would never order from them again especially the amount of money every time that I go to the restaurant or order that I spend it's always over 80 to $100

Horrible customer service. This is the second time that I ordered food and it is not ready when I went to pick it up. The girls are not friendly at all, when pointed out that they made me wait 11/2hr for my food they caught an attitude The owner didn't even care. The food is ok but I do not recommend this place.

This is some of the best Peruvian Chifa I've ever had. My husband and I LOVE Peruvian food and try new places as often as we can. This was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Tri Color Huancaina. It came with three different huancaina sauces. Absolutely delicious. Then we shared the Chaifa de pollo. Again, delicious and authentic. This is our new place to come when we are craving Peruvian. The service is amazing and it's a family owned place. Father son restaurants right next to each other! Great job !

Hands down the best chaufa in the Tampa Bay Area. The ceviche and causas are also spectacular. Small and cozy restaurante that takes you on a delectable trip to the heart of Peru. Excellent service too!

I rarely write reviews but some places truly deserve credit for their work, and I believe this is one of them. If you enjoy Peruvian food, this restaurant is a great find... High-quality ingredients. Meals are freshly prepared. Generous portions. Good presentation. Family run with personable service. Simple yet clean restaurant. Fair prices. The only problems we've found so far are that we wish we had discovered it sooner and sometimes it takes a little work to communicate (as our Spanish is about as good as some of the staff's English). Pollos Rocoto is well known for its pollo a la brasa (Peruvian rotisserie chicken), and there are so many other things that look delicious when we look around at other tables. We want to try more, but we're hooked on the ceviche and jalea (Peruvian fried fish plate) and have a hard time giving up on them to try anything else. :) If you don't normally eat Peruvian, it might be time to try. Check out their hours of operation before coming and don't be in too much of a rush. It's a small restaurant with a small kitchen -- if they are busy it might take a little while.

This is our second visit, the first we tried the traditional "Pollo la brasa"....because this is a good base for my wife and I as to the quality of the restaurant. It was amazing the flavors were on point and the salsas were authentically delicious. This time we ordered a "mostrito" a mix of "pollo la brasa and chaufa with salad and fries." To start the restaurant is well decorated and well laid out. It is very clean and more inviting than several other establishments we have visited. We obviously will be returning again, as well as trying out their sister full dining location Sr. Rocoto. The food yet again was delicious, the chaufa was a basic fried rice (but authentic, not Chinese buffet version) the fries and pollo were yet again perfect!

Food was amazing!!! Yuca frita and sweet potato fries were so good. Service was also amazing.

I don't know who was but my order got cancel at same time we went to pick up charge went true and everything. At the moment of pick up they can't find my order and I receive a email saying that my order got cancel.

The food and service in this restaurant are truly amazing. We had one of the best ceviches ever! Try the 'ceviche carretillero' to have an authentic dish from Lima. The service team was very caring and friendly. Highly recommended!

Best "Pollo a la brasa" that you can find in Tampa, the stuff are really nice and the prices are affordable .

This place is nasty! I would not recommend. I would post 0 stars if I could. Cashier was rather rude at that. I would find better food for money.

Pollos Rocoto sells the best rotisserie chicken I have tried. I highly recommend this place. Price is right for family dinner. I love their yellow sauce, my favorite!
