Well worth the hour wait we had to be seated! Leah was great! We really enjoyed talking to her when she would come check on our table. The coffee is delicious and they never let our coffee cups get empty. Pancakes were delicious! The toast is made with homemade bread! Make sure you put some of that maple cream spread on it! We drove an hour from our hotel to eat here and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Polly's pancake is truely amazing . This family run buisness has been here for so long and they truely know what they are doing. The staff is extremely friendly and they cater to all your needs. Their walnut pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes are really good and now i know why they are truely the best in New England. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Scrumptious and memorable. As the name suggests, their pancakes were amazing. I had the butterscotch and blueberry pancakes. Our waitress was on top of it and extremely attentive! We drove from far to try their food and they did not disappoint.

Long wait, but it dropped from 75 min to 30 min quickly. Fantastic service, solid food. Worth the hype. Bacon is incredible, toasted marshmallow hot chocolates are delicious, and even the decaf americano is good (locally roasted espresso beans). The James beard award sets the bar high, but it’s the best around

This place is wonderful! A recent family trip had to include a visit to Polly's. The view was amazing, and our waitress Lisa did a great job with our celebration meal (🙂She was very understanding and patient with our food allergy custom order) thank you. The decor is fun to check out, and looking at spectacular mountains over a hot coffee and breakfast was nice. Highly recommend!

We got there at 6:45 on the first weekend of October (week after peak foliage) and we were third in line. Breakfast was amazing, server was friendly, and we got to watch the sun rise over the white mountains from our table. Amazing view.

Polly’s is an absolutely worth it gem in Northern NH! A bit out of the way, maybe a long wait, but the pancakes are the best I’ve ever had. Our group became addicted to the cornmeal pancakes, but all options are fantastic. Homemade breads, pastries, high quality eggs, and local meat sides make the meal even better. The home fries are a must and make sure to get a few pancakes with blueberries too! Service is always nice and the view of the mountains in the parking lot is one of the best.

The place was absolutely packed, no tables available for over an hour. With so many great reviews, we decided to wait. Seventy minutes later, we finally got seated. Not at one of the tables with beautiful views, but at the bar, right in front of the kitchen. There was actually a free table, but we were told it was prebooked… though the couple who queued with us ended up getting it. The pancakes were just fine, certainly not worth the long wait, the drive, and the view of the kitchen. So for me, it’s far from a 5★ experience.

We made the two-hour drive (four hours total) to try this legendary pancake house, and were not disappointed. They do not accept reservations, so don't wait until you are hungry to make the trip. When we arrived, there was a two-hour wait, and patrons passed the time strolling the grounds or sitting on the scattered benches to enjoy the autumn sun and the view of the White Mountains. There is a small gift shop at the building entrance, but it's very crowded with hopeful customers waiting for a table, so a little difficult to shop. They are well-staffed to handle the crush of people they draw, and despite the never-ending arrivals, they remained kind and friendly to everyone. The servers were all young and it seemed like they had a wonderful camaraderie that was easy to be swept up in! We sat at the counter and had a great time watching and interacting with them. I will never be a frequent customer ONLY because it's very hard to wait all that time for what you know will be delicious homemade pancakes. There is just no easy solution to it, and everyone should go at least once. They deserve their fame!

This is the place for Pancakes. We stopped by on a trip and found that we would be waiting about an hour... along with a lot of folks who were very enthused for the opportunity to wait an hour for these superb pancakes. They give you one of those "beepers" so at least you are not stuck in a line. We had a sampling of several pancakes, but the cornmeal pancakes with coconut were out of this world. Not that anything else was anywhere near bad or mediocre. It was all good. Their bacon was perfect. The coffee was too I suppose, we had Irish coffee and it certainly was good. Cool place with lots of old antiques, so the ambiance is worth the effort. We sat next to some civil war paraphernalia that was interesting in and of itself. People were nice. Our waitress was just great. Don't hesitate to wait. Maybe if you showed up at some precise time you could avoid the wait, but do know that it is worth the time. Oh, we pulled in an RV that was 26 feet plus about 12 more for the Jeep we were pulling. We should have parked off the road on the other side. But they did offer to let us stay in their main drive (Which was nice of them)... It's possible to drive around back and exit from the side. Hey It can be done. I have photos but Yelp is not cooperating today... OH one more point... we bought a lot of pancake mix to take home and to give family. There is part of our Christmas stocking stuffing done!

Went here for their iconic pancakes. They did not disappoint! The location is pretty far from most other attractions. Definitely call in for a reservation as they were booked up even during the week. They have a gift shop inside with plenty of neat NH souvenirs for a good price. The pancakes are completely customizable which I love. I ordered a pancake sampler which came with 6 small pancakes for $13. They have 7 different batters to choose from with various add in options to the pancakes. I tried the oatmeal buttermilk, cornmeal, and the plain batters with different add ins. They were all so delicous I should've ordered more to go. Polly's is worth the trip to check out when in NH!

Outstanding food and service. Too many out of state tourists though, but they're bearable (barely). Probably better to visit on a weekday than a weekend so you dont have to deal with the crowds

If you want a great breakfast in this area, just go here. It is a large and noisy space with tons of people. That is the FUN of it. We waited 35 minutes for a table which was exactly what they told us when we came in. The servers are awesome! You never want for anything. HUGE MENU. I had an egg white veggie omelet with cheese and bacon and a side of corn beef hash with their amazing homefries with onions. I took half of it home. My wife is a pancake aficionado and she said that they were the best pancakes she ever had. Makes sense as they GRIND their flour on the premises! If you like real hot sauce, well they have it. They have a few different hot sauces. Not Tabasco or Sriracha either. You won't be disappointed.

I recently visited  this place in Franconia, New Hampshire, and it quickly became one of my favorite breakfast spots. The dishes they serve are exceptional and unique. Everything at Polly's is made in-house, including the salt and pepper, which adds a special touch to the dining experience. The menu features a delightful array of maple-based items, such as maple cream, maple pepper, and the star of the show--the pancakes. These pancakes are the softest and tastiest I've ever had. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. However, be prepared for a long wait, as this popular spot can get quite busy. We arrived in the morning and had to wait for an hour to get in, but it was absolutely worth it.

Can't complain at all even after waiting an hour to get seated. There are some nice benches to wait sprinkled around the property. We went high time (it seems) given they didn't accept call-aheads between Sep 28-Oct 10 (we happened to go on Sep 28). Makes complete sense but I'm guessing your experience will be even easier if you go a different time of year. The food was delicious and our server was beyond nice. Service was quick. I loved the Plain pancake more than anything honestly, the bacon was cooked perfectly and high quality, and the toast was scrumptious. I even had a glass of "Champagne" that tasted more like cider but it was honestly great. The place is lovely and you should make a visit if you can. We drove 1.5h for it and it was worth every penny -just wish we could have stuck around to do the hike we intended to do as well

This place is fantastic! Kind of Out-of-the-way but once you get here, it's worth it. The food is fantastic! When you come here there's ample parking and there's a little horse outside which kids can sit on for photos. It's pretty cute. When you walk in is a huge amount of space you could easily fit 150 people in there and you could even have events in that kind of space. We have lovely views of the surrounding areas as well. When you get seated and that's pretty much immediately, our waitress will come over with these cute maple table mats and waters. The waitresses you're also have to be the cooks, so they make really great recommendations when it comes to choosing your pancakes. Do listen to them and take what they recommend. We tried the corn beef hash which was outstanding the pancakes were really really good and I highly recommend the hot chocolate it was one of the best hot chocolate I've had! Service can be a little slow depending on number of people in the restaurant and the fact that the waitress was also the cooks. So she's technically making food for three or four tables at one time. There's also a little sale section in the front where you can buy memorabilia as well as great maple syrup that they make. There's two restrooms as well. i'll be back when I'm in the area for sure

We waited over an hour and a half and it was not worth the wait. Why? The pancakes were dried out. Not sure if it is their batter, the small size, or the fact that they are making them in bunches and then sitting. The various flavors they offer are interesting. And the fact you can build your own is a nice option. The surroundings are rustic and pleasant. And the service was good, given the non stop action the staff has to endure. But, as I said earlier, it's not worth a 90 minute wait.

Breakfast was amazing and the view is pretty nice to looking over Canon Mountain. Service was top notch and the pancakes were delicious. Definitely stop in if in the area of Franconia Notch, Lincoln area.

Service and food was amazing. Absolutely must-see if you're in the area. The views are so beautiful too from the dining room.

This rustic eating establishment is very nice. Hosts are active and kind. There was an 1 and a half hour wait on a Wednesday at 10, so I can't imagine what a Saturday at 8 looks like. The food was very good!

We've wanted to try Polly's for a few years and finally had the chance on the way home from skiing. So so glad we did - they're awesome! They get packed quickly, so we got there early. Everything was awesome. The maple tray is great- put the maple cream on everything. Pancakes were awesome, we had a bunch of different flavors. Our server was so nice and helpful, and cooked everything great. I wish we lived closer and could go more often, it was so good.

I wish I could give them a 10 star review! The service and food were the absolute best - everything you could want from a small town diner! Both days our waiter and waitress were always. We timed it just right - getting there before 8:30am - and there was no wait. When we were leaving the people waiting were lined up out the door. We came 2 out of 3 mornings during our trip - would've been 3 days if we didn't have to drive 40 minutes out of the way for our drive home! The first morning I had the big breakfast with fried eggs, toast, home fries and bacon. My son had the waffle with whipped cream, fruit and ice cream and my sister had the blueberry pancakes meal. Everything was delicious and cooked perfect. They even make their own breads and their is a good variety to choose from. The 2nd morning I had the breakfast that include pancakes and got the gingerbread pancakes - I cannot say enough about how delicious and perfect these pancakes were. I would drive the 3 1/2 hours to get there just for them! Their coffees are good and definitely get the maple one! Don't make the same mistake as me - buy the maple spread and pancake mixes from their little store before you leave! Shipping online costs as much as the product

Kathie's Combo was the perfect combination of savory and sweet. I had blueberry pancakes with delicious Vermont syrup with my combo. Delicious!

Amazing place but call ahead and get on the list or come super early! The wait can be long but it's worth it. Things have changed since Covid - it used to be family style dining and the new arrangement takes away some of the charm but the food is still amazing.

A coveted 5 star review. The best pancakes I have ever had. Made to order and cooked perfectly it's no wonder they have been around over 50 years. It's difficult to decide on the type of pancakes they have several. I sampled original, original with blueberries and buckwheat. Also ordered at the table was oatmeal and gingerbread. The original were the best. Eggs were cooked perfectly and bacon was thick cut perfect. Decaf coffee served in a distinct yellow decaf mug - great idea. Service was amazing and never wanted anything that wasn't 5 seconds away. Truly an iconic institution. If you are visiting New Hampshire stop at Polly's. Pro Tip: call ahead to get a place in line! Typical wait is 45 minutes to over an hour!

Great food in the middle of nowhere. Pictures speak for themselves here, this place is worth the wait. Large spread on the menu for you to peruse through while you wait, because you will be waiting. The blueberry pancakes were especially euphoric. If you order the breakfast burger, the correct way is to get the egg over easy, so you can squish the bun on top and make it explode down the sides, as pictured. If you disagree you're simply wrong.

LOVE Polly's pancakes! There can be a long wait, so plan to stop in add your name and take a short drive around the area. But well worth the wait. My favorite is the corn pancake, even better when paired with the eggs Benedict

Do I need to add to the reviews??? It was amazing! We stopped in on our way home from our vacation and it was just all around fun, kind, and delicious. The food was tasty, the pancakes are varied and just so good! I loved how friendly everyone was and I wish I lived closer! There is a lot to look at in this place too, old signs, Star Wars hanging from the ceiling, and did I mention it has an amazing view!! Mountains. We will be back!

Delicious pancakes at a popular local pancake house @pollyspancakeparlor ! The portion is actually not the usual super large size of your typical American diner, but each dish is perfect for one person. My favorite out of the 3 flavors was definitely the oatmeal batter + coconut. Who knew coconuts would go so well with pancakes! So refreshing! Maple steamer was delicious and not too sweet at all. Great food and everyone there was so nice. What an awesome spot!

If you like the feel off eating in a cozy cabin with a view, this is the place for you! I got the Kathie's Combo w Banana Pancakes (which were a special of the day) and it was my favorite breakfast ever! I loved that there was an option to choose a meat or home fries because I never get the potatoes and having that as an option made me so happy. I wish more places offered something like Kathie's Combo. The service was quick but be mindful that there will be a long wait for large parties AND two people, but if you're flexible with seating you will get the hightop!

I got eggs , home fries,wheat toast and 3 pancakes, blueberry plain, the special of the day and gingerbread. Forget the eggs, and home fries , but the homemade bread and pancakes were delicious!!

The food was decent but I did have higher expectations considering the ratings I've seen and the $. Doubt we will be back. Defiantly call ahead for your seating or you'll likely be a n line for a loooooong wait

By far the best place I've ever eaten at when I was a little kid and completely forgot about! I brought my girlfriend up to Lincoln for a wedding of our mutual friends. We drove up late Friday night from Bridgewater MA. When we woke up Saturday morning we wanted a good breakfast place. So we looked to Yelp for suggestion. This place had hundreds of reviews and most of them were positive, so we decided to try it. After waiting over an hour to get seated, we were blown away! We both order the same thing, pumpkin pancakes with a side of bacon, hash,hollandaise sauce and one of there maple biscuits. It was so delicious we ate till we were over full. This place was so good we ended up talking it up at the wedding to everyone! Then we drove back there Sunday morning after the wedding. This is a must try if your anywhere around the area! It's the best breakfast place I've ever eaten at!

The service was great. But for 2 cheese omelettes it was pricey. What I don't like if you want to add anything to your omelette you get charged you want toast they charge you for that and it's not cheap. It's cheaper if you go to place and everything is already included in the price.

Everything was excellent. Yes we waited a bit but it was so worth it. The service is cheerful and efficient. The pancakes with maple cream and a little syrup. OH my god. The best!!

We recently stayed in the area and saw the amazing reviews for Polly's. We decided to go on a rainy Saturday and luckily we had the forethought to call ahead. Polly's happily took a phone reservation which helped us to avoid the 1+ hour wait (apparently whenever it rains it gets extremely crowded here). The Parlor is located on top of a small hill. Inside there's a family friendly atmosphere and a huge menu full of pancakes, waffles, eggs, sandwiches on pancake buns, and all the other breakfast classics. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and served with a smile. Polly's also offers a giftshop where you can purchase pancake batter, syrup as well as other local treats.

A long wait for a mediocre breakfast. Certainly the view and grounds are spectacular, but the food itself not so much. The price however is affordable.

Talk about a hidden gem tucked away into the mountains! This is it! I was craving some delicious breakfast, and marched my way inside of this establishment. I was greeted with warm and welcoming customer service and seated promptly! My waitress Danielle was phenomenal! She helped me with crafting and getting the most out of my order. I ordered the Pancake sampler with chocolate chip & blueberry pancakes, with each pancake being a different batter (Plain, Gingerbread, and Cornmeal.) I also ordered a side of home fries & bacon! It did not take long at all for my meal to come out! I topped the Pancakes with maple butter & maple syrup! & Doused my home fries with hot sauce! The pancakes tasted absolutely luscious! The bacon was cooked perfectly and had smokey notes of flavor! The home fries were flavorful beyond measure, especially topped with the onions! This meal had me on cloud nine! The service well exceeded my expectations too! They have a gift shop in store that also sells their batter mixes & other goods! Check this place out! You are absolutely in for a treat!

It's a wait to get seated , atmosphere is great, food was great . My only complaint is this is this is a pancake place and I was disappointed at the on how small the pancakes where. 3 and 1/4 inch pancakes should be for the kids menu. 6 inch should be the standard size .

This is the place you go while lupin hunting but we came during the summer on the way to Vermont. It stands right outside town amongst farms and fields. There's plenty of parking and a modest shop up front. Seating was aplenty in the afternoon around 12 and quicker at the bar. Walking past the kitchen you see the pancake mixes being plopped down onto the griddle. We sat at the bar in front of the fancy breakfast drinks bar where they whipped up lattes and hot chocolate. The menu isn't terribly extensive and hosts a nice array of breakfast staples abut pays most valuable real estate to the pancakes. We both ordered three pancakes and I got a pancake flight -- three pancakes with batter and toppings of your choice. Cornmeal, buckwheat, wheat flour were all options I opted for -- all their flour except the white flour is stone ground. Every meal comes with a maple tray -- maple syrup, maple cream fixings for everyone to share. The servers make the pancakes for their patrons, which was a nice surprise -- so every server must be able to make pancakes. Trippy! The pancakes are about 4 inches in diameter and they are so darn fluffy! I loved getting to try different batters and the eggs were supremely fluffy. I can't recommend Polly's enough. Lovely staff, cute interior, and excellent food.

Heard of this place and drove over on a weekday. Parking lot huge. Unfortunately we didn't read the reviews before going so just showing up turned into a "wait will be 90 minutes" . Next time call ahead! Didn't get into the restaurant but the gift shop had pancake mix for sale but also had yummy candy choices. Oh yea, we did get coffees from the gift shop and it was absolutely delicious!!

Best pancakes! This is a super cute place and the service and food were both amazing! We had blueberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, cornmeal pancakes and our favorite- gingerbread walnut pancakes!!! We are so glad they sell the mix in the store so we could bring some home! We were in town to go to Santa's Village but we would definitely come back if we were within a 2 hour drive! You will not be disappointed!

A rustic classic that's been around since 1938. Large space. Open kitchen. Friendly hosts. There's a gift shop, but don't let that scare you off (after your meal, you'll realize it's a plus). Friendly servers. The "Maple Tray": Real maple syrup, maple sugar (shaker), and a maple spread (squeeze bottle) that our server said was basically a maple frosting, and she was right. All are nice additions, depending on preference and what you're adding it to. Having maple syrup by default and at no extra charge was a big win. Plus it was very good. The Pancake Options: The bad news is that the pancakes are only 3-1/4 inches diameter. The good news is that the pancakes are only 3-1/4 inches diameter. Why? Because it allows less commitment so you can try more other things or even more pancakes in different flavors. Another big plus toward that end is the ability to mix and match with the sampler: pick any 3 combinations of batter and filling (I got a cornmeal pancake with blueberries, a buckwheat pancake with chocolate chips, and a gingerbread pancake with no filling). The Pancakes: Good to very good. Not too dense, not too light, and none of that baseball glove texture too many other pancake house pancakes have. Very nice flavor to the batter in all the varieties I tried, with no chemical aftertaste. I particularly liked the cornmeal batter: extra soft and crumbly in the right way. The gingerbread were not sickening sweet. All took the syrup nicely without absorbing it in a flash. Scrambled Eggs: Hard to screw up, you say? I've had plenty elsewhere that were, but these were perfect. Not too wet, not too (or anywhere near) dry, and not too (or anywhere near) brown. Fluffy and moist. Home Fries: The only disappointment, though mostly stylistic. These were thick full potato slices, not cubes, and had more of a baked feel even though I think they were fried. Little to no seasoning (I like seasoning). We went with the onions option for an extra 50 cents, and they were sautéed but not crisply (I like crispy). Maple Bacon Biscuits: A special of the day was dense (maybe a tad too dense, but some are supposed to be that way. Like a pineapple upside down cake, it had a thick sweet maple glaze on the bottom, along with crispy bacon pieces. Tasty for sure, although I'd rather have another pancake or three. Service: Outstanding. It's as if everyone walked straight out of a training video, full of good cheer and menu knowledge. Interesting tidbit: the same server who takes your order also cooks your pancakes. Look through the Yelp reviews and you'll see plenty of hype (I mean intense praise, not shilling), so I was fearing a letdown of Rapunzel proportions. Didn't happen. I loved the place, the people, and the pancakes. And the syrup and other pancake accoutrements. I can't wait to come back.

Great service, great food, need i say more? You can choose your own and sample different batters. They are small but delicious. I had gingerbread (yum), cornmeal, buttermilk oat, and buckwheat. All good. Store to go too. Many coffees and lattes. New special each day. Oh ya, much more than pancakes!!! Typical New England breakfasts

All I can say is WOW. Loved the slight crisp on the pancakes. Eggs were cooked exactly how I asked, over easy. Had a mocha cappuccino, was the best I've ever had. My wife had sourdough French toast she enjoyed. Service was impeccable. Definitely a go to place in New Hampshire.

Recently moved to Vermont for a temporary healthcare contract. Always on the look for great restaurants we were told about Polly's Pancake Parlor. We got a chance last week to take our daughters who were visiting. It was everything we were told. Great food and great service. Just make sure to get reservations. It saved us over an hour waiting in line.

One and half hour wait this morning. Ouch, I know it summertime but come on really, an hour and an half wait for breakfast. Needless to say we did not wait!

Honestly, maybe some of the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. When first looking at the pancakes, you may not assume so, but when you bite into them they are actually super fluffy and flavorful. Looks are deceiving. I also love that you can get multiple flavors of pancakes with different batters and different toppings. Makes the whole experience fun and a good time. The gingerbread batter was surprisingly super flavorful and filled with spices. The oatmeal batter was also really great! Waitstaff also super friendly and helpful! Sometimes they can be hard to catch if they are away cooking pancakes in the back, but everyone is very friendly and helpful if you need something. Also plenty of parking around the establishment. Inside decor also very cute and paying homage to this restaurant's history! HIGHLY recommend this place as a pitstop if you're in the area!!

Thank God we could enjoy an excellent/superb meal at Polly's Pancake Parlor, before we rolled into Littleton, NH, as with the exception of the Littleton Food Co Op, the food/restaurants in Littleton, NH sucked. Polly's, on the other hand, was superb. Outstanding food quality and flavors, an immaculate establishment, friendly service.....a great customer experience.

A MUST to stop in when visiting New Hampshire. Holy cow I've never had such good food, service and a perfect atmosphere all in one. We were immediately welcomed and sat in the back, take a look at their kitchen working hard with perfect decorations. I ended up getting the French toast combo with cinnamon raisin toast with a side of bacon. Every single bite was delicious I couldn't stop! Perfect crispy bacon, slightly fried potatoes, YUM! You must get the Maple Steamer I couldn't resist after seeing the photos and it was worth every sip!! Leah was a wonderful, super attentive and explained the maple icing for my French toast. We will absolutely be back!

I enjoyed everything I ate. Enjoyed the service. The place was clean. Nothing to gripe about BUT A $11 waffle is out of bounds. It wasn't a ridiculous size. The taste was good but it was surely not $11 dollars

The front desk staff is so rude. We had this experience twice in the past few months. They don't care because they don't need your business anymore. It used to be a friendly place to go. Both fall holiday weekends, their outgoing message said they do not to call aheads, however they did. This makes for a very long wait for those who followed the outgoing message. Staff needs some service training.

A great spot for breakfast with excellent food and outstanding service. Of course we got pancakes (duh) and they were excellent (and cooked by your SERVER not the kitchen staff which is unusual). The coffee was hot and plentiful (I do love it when I don't have to ask for refills!). The location is beautiful as well so if you do end up waiting for a table you have awesome scenery!
