Wonderful and courteous staff. They're so helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. Best cheesecake ever. Best chocolate chip cookies ever. Best brownies ever. One of my favorite go to spots.

Manager Christy Torres mainly served me - she leads "from the front" - steps in and helps alongside her staff, doesn't stand around yapping and twittling her thumbs, barking orders. Great follow up, assist and close out from Sarah: asks questions, delivers results. Both ladies demonstrated: Superb, friendly performances, outstanding professionalism, product knowledge, courtesy, timeliness, compassion, order exactly as requested. Happy Valentine's Day ladies. Our server was excellent, the food was delicious and we were back on our way home in no time flat. In addition to my ABC Omelette I absolutely love their cinnamon rolls. There is no place better for breakfast after a long morning of hanging Christmas lights, going or coming back from vacation, or just because.

A little slice of Yorba Linda comfort food. Came for breakfast. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the food and comforting atmosphere. Our visit truly felt like eating breakfast at home. Service was really friendly and came often to check what we needed. Coffee tasted fresh. Huge portions of food, especially the cinnamon roll.

Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last. So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.

Felix & Edith made our day! They used to work at the former La Mirada Polly's location, and we love them. We stopped in for lunch and had great service and food! It was great to be remembered and taken care of. The lunch special was a great deal. We will definitely be coming back!

Good service and decent food. Maybe the pie is better, but I didn’t get any this time. We went for breakfast, which was about $10 a plate without drinks. Each basic breakfast combination gets a baked good, and you should be aware that the cinnamon rolls are huge. We had to take most of it home with us. If I came back again it would be for lunch or dinner.

My girlfriend had a morning appointment nearby so we met at polly's for breakfast before I left for work. I used to eat here occasionally but I hadn't been in quite some time. Breakfast was good, plenty of food, and everything came out for us at the same time which is nice. Clean restaurant, well lit, and convenient location with plenty of parking. Pro tip, try their pie, it's delicious. This time I took a giant cinnamon roll to go and had it the next day. I'll return.

Came in to meet my BF for breakfast. We had not seen each other all week and I had the morning off before he goes to work and I attend my Doctor appointment. I arrived before him and ordered both of our meals so that his wait time is shortened. In the meantime, I looked around. Everything was nice and clean and kept up. Food arrived and it was great. Bacon was perfectly crispy & crunchy and eggs were light & fluffy. Hash browns were amazing as well. I finished everything off my plate. My french toast was good too except that I forgot to say "no butter" on mine. I must be allergic to the butter but the french toast itself was moist and fluffy, but I couldn't eat another bite. So full. They have Bingo Wednesdays, so we'll be back!

Just bought some dinner rolls there. Very sorry to say they were stale. Ruined my chicken dinner. Not good management. The old manager never would have put those rolls out when he was there. I don't want to even give you one star. Don't sell that crap the next day! Let your employees take them home at the end of the night. Don't try to pass them off as fresh. Shame on you!

My group got hungry in the middle of our self-tour, so decided to grab a quick bite to eat before going back. Once we got there, the aesthetic was a classic mom-and-pop diner feel, plus there was an additional bakery inside adjacent to the restaurant. Despite a moderate lunchtime crowd, our food came out fairly quickly. We arrived right after brunch hours, so the server was able to offer both the lunch and dinner menus, which was nice. Overall, the food was pretty good. My Pollymelt was a bit too greasy for my stomach, but the fruit cup was a pleasant surprise. I'm usually not a fan of restaurant fruit cups because they're often heavy on melon, but this one had grapes, mangoes, and strawberries instead, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, we had to head back to finish our visit at the Nixon Library, otherwise we probably would have picked up a pie to take home. I'll definitely consider coming back in the future, especially when I'm in the mood for pie.

Came for lunch on a Saturday: Ordered the build your own burger and the turkey Cobb. We also ordered the cornbread (came with the salad) and then the cup of chili. Food came out fast. Turkey Cobb had a ton of turkey (good or bad thing lol) and then we asked for a little more dressing. Burger was good with the sourdough and fries could be a little crispier imo.

I was seated quickly, but then ignored by the server that wouldn't turn around. She would help the tables across from me. I waited about 15 minutes and a waiter came by and asked if someone took my drink order I said no, but I was ready to order. I placed my order and a couple from across told him they were waiting 25 minutes and it was ridiculous. They were going to leave. I had my meal the prime rib, which was good. I asked for check and I went to the front to pay the hostess saw me. She didn't say or do anything and she was helping Someone pick up a mobile order. That customer said why don't you help him first but she didn't. I told her of my difficulties and she said well I'm not a server. There have been a lot of poor comments in the reviews. I hope the service improves.

Waiter was rude, the tone and demeanor was sharp and just rude. So much so that they were having a $1 slice with entree and I declined because the way he spoke to me was disrespectful. ***We actually came to buy a pie, but decided to have breakfast /lunch to give it a try.. needless to say we left without buying a pie.. Im sure mgmnt knows who the server is.

Came here for their Prime Rib special of $21.99, Friday-Sundays, 4-9pm. Although service was fine, the prime rib was overly salty. It was as salty as a ham. I guess you get what you pay for. The price point is a great value, and maybe it was an off day. But in general, too salty for our taste buds. The veggies were the only redeeming part of the plate, as they were cooked well and had variety. It was not busy at all when we came on a Sunday evening, just right for a casual dinner with family.

Came on a Saturday night around 7:30. The interior is very old town charm, reminiscent of like a hometown buffet or other nostalgic family restaurant from the 2000s. Great service and prices. I had the soup sandwich combo for $10.99. The soup was flavorful and delicious. The sandwich was filling and fresh. Our server was very attentive, helpful, and sweet.

Delicious meals!! Mom got the Chicken Fried Steak and I had the Chicken Pot Pie. It was all very tasty and served nice and hot (temp)! Chicken Fried Steak was nice and tender and my pot pie so tasty with a great pot pie crust. Potatoes were excellent. It's cute inside and decorated for Halloween. We had a nice server. We also took some pie home. Our only complaint is that the bathrooms are FILTHY!!! Nasty floors, toilet bowls!! Totally unacceptable. It needs to be addressed.

Polly's pie's is delicious, I don't go here often but I forgot to get a pie for Christmas so I wanted to go after Christmas lights. They were so sweet and I picked my pie pretty quickly. I knew they were closing it was almost 9:00pm. Thank you so much for the friendly service and our delicious pecan pie. I haven't had one since coco's too bad they closed :/ but Polly's Pie's pecan pie was pretty good. The inside was a bit too runny, but the outside crust and the pecan was perfect. I forgot to mention the pecan pie was the very last one it was between that and the apple crumble but since we had apple crumble for Thanksgiving, I figured pecan was the way to go lol. I love their chicken pot pies here at the parking lot is big so plenty of parking and everyone's really friendly so we came before it closed. :) Thank you so much for our delicious pie. Service - I would like to complement the great General Manager, Christy Torres, for her outstanding work and personal integrity handling all kinds of different issues that come up. My friend thought she left her planner there at the restaurant and called Christy and she hunted all over the place looked everywhere. Lost and found an outside of lost and found for my friend's planner. Just a wonderful Manager. I hope she stays at Polly's in Yorba Linda for a long time. It turns out my friend's planner was at home and so there was a happy ending. Happy New Year!

Been a steady customer of Polly Pies for over 20 years at the Yorba Linda location. All staff is very friendly, courteous and kind. Love the great food and especially the pies. It satisfies my sweet tooth!

Huge improvement this year! Didn't even have to wait more than 3 min for my pickup and my purchases. Very well organized, neat and fast service! Happy team members and the customer service is top notch. The managers were hustling non stop. Mrs Cristie and Michelle were very attentive and guiding the team efficiently. The level of commitment and dedication reflected in each one of the team members running your order and thanking you and wishing a happy holiday with a big ol smile!!!! And let's not forget the bakers, you could see that oven cooking the delicious pies! Food was amazing, just like at home ! My pie was delicious!!!! Glad I took them up on the email offer of the free burger and fries and pie for my birthday. The burger was juicy and delicious. Just the right amount of meat and bun. So filling. The fries ware ok; I'm not sure of what type of oil they were cooked in. Not bad, but not my favorite. Loved the strawberry lemonade. The fresh cut strawberry halves were a great addition; I ate half of them after finishing the lemonade. And, the banberry pie slice was so fresh and delicious, per usual. Still my fave. Service was fantastic for dinner in at the latter part of the lunch hour. Dining room was busy, probably because of Valentine's Day, but I feel like it's always busy at lunch. They had plenty of servers and hosts/hostesses. Great visit overall!

We arrived, then waited 5 minutes to be greeted. After we were greeted they put our name on a list, then disappeared. After another wait, another group arrived and were taken right back while we and another party waited. Another wait with no one coming, we decided to leave.

I didn't eat there, I only ordered pies. Easy to order pies online and pick up was very easy with a print out of your order.

We were a party of 2 and upon entering we met "Ricky" who I assume was a Manager. Told him table for 2 but wanted an actual table not a booth. I explained I have a spine condition that makes it hard for me to get in and out of booths. Rickey then told me he only has one room that has tables and "he is saving that for large parties"....what??? So my husband walks over to that room and there was one large party in there but also SEVERAL open tables. I was shocked at Rickey's remark and I reiterated why I need a table. He then said we'd have to wait as a table would have to be cleaned, which I didn't understand as there were several tables available, that were already clean. We waited in the front area as we watched Rickey handle the people coming in to buy pies, even tho there was another employee in that area. After waiting about 10-15 minutes, we got so frustrated that we weren't being attended to, WE LEFT and went to eat elsewhere. That's is a great example of how not to treat potential customers !!

Polly's is rated too low. great food, chill vibe. just a quality diner and a staple of OC.

11/2 ordered 4 pies for Thanksgiving. Paid in advance. Upon scheduled pickup tonight we were advised they did not have cherry pie as ordered. First told oven went out at 230am. Then manager advised they either mis-counted pies or gave out our pie to another customer in error. At pickup we were advised we could swap out for another pie or wait an hour. Wonder why no communication before pickup so we were aware before pickup. Manager defended decisions made due to large quanity of holiday pies being made and/or human error. Not until speaking to a senior manager was involved did restaurant express empathy and offer to help.

We stopped by after fun a day of shopping for some pie and coffee. We waited at the counter to be seated and nobody came to help us. The employees were all in back, maybe the kitchen. Several employees walked through the area, looked at us and kept walking. There was another woman in the lobby with us and I asked her if she had been helped and she said no. She was waiting to pick up pies. I decided to go behind the counter to find out if everyone was OK and one of the employees peaked from around the corner and went and told on me. So a female came out to see what we needed. Really? The woman that had been waiting, asked if she could pick up her pies that she had been pre-ordered. The girl left the room to go check and came back and said her pies were not ready. The woman had some paperwork that said the pies were supposed to be ready at noon. The Polly's person said "well there's some pies that haven't been picked up on that table so you can go through those and see if you'd like any of those from yesterday"! The woman asked to speak to a manager. My friend and I were totally ignored. After a few minutes, the manager finally came out of the back room, I think it was the kitchen. She was a disheveled, unhappy camper. This restaurant was not clean. We asked if they had pumpkin pie, no answer. We noticed that chairs were stacked up blocking different sections of the restaurant which was strange. There were boxed pies sitting on a table. Some open, some closed some half in a bag. We decided it probably wasn't a good idea to eat pie in this restaurant. Unfortunately, I did not get a video of how weird this place looked with chairs all over pies all over and it was not clean. What is up!?! wha

Good pies, okay meals. Terrinle service. I've ordered takeout 4 times. Each time wait time is ridiculously long, even for a simple pie. Today the gal took my card, charged it, and walked away. She just had to take the pie out, box it, and hand it over. Nope, she walked away, and I waited a good 15 mins and had to flag another person, who started helping me, then she stopped and started talking to another worker. Irritated... But they do have good pies.

Polly's Pies? Yes. This location????? Absolutely not. Came here to grab some lunch. Nobody in the waiting area waiting to be seated except me and my toddler. I did not count the minutes it took for us to get seated because we never even got seated. I saw at least 5 employees who could have sat us but none of them did. 3 of them were behind the bakery counter which had like 2 customers waiting to order. I heard one say "I'll be there in just a second to assist you." Nobody came. And I KNOW they all saw us standing in front of the host podium. I was extremely annoyed. Never coming back to this location ever again. I'll stick to the one in Fullerton, thanks.

We loved the customer service here! Tony, our server was AMAZING! He took great care of us when he was the only server for the entire section! He overheard us talking about which pie we wanted and he brought my box for my to-go food and the pie we wanted!! Without having to ask him!! He knows every aspect of customer service! He has a great way with people and we see him going very far in life!! Thank you!!

Food was ok but the meat tho, the prime rib that I tried? Guess what? Raw. It looked like it wasn't even cooked. I went for my parents anniversary so everything was supposed to be great but guess what after we asked for the raw food to at least be cooked well, they just said and I quote "We don't want ur germs on our grill" like are us customers supposed to be disgusting? Then fine at least let us refund the meal or the two plates that we ordered. And we also ordered a lot thinking it was a good place becuz of the reviews but it was the complete opposite. Worst experience ever NEVER RECOMMEND.

We come to Polly's periodically for Sunday breakfast and had another great experience this past weekend. I usually go for the 2-3-1 combo with eggs over easy, crisp bacon, and hash browns. It comes with a bakery item and the cinnamon roll with frosting is huge and is almost enough to fill you up on its own. My girlfriend has been on a french toast kick lately and the cinnamon french toast is huge and the combo makes it a tummy stuffer for sure. We were seated right away on a busy Sunday morning and our server Janette was very friendly and speedy. This is always a good spot for a good tasty breakfast.

I went to Polly's for dinner yesterday since I was going to a Feverup Candlelight concert at the Richard Nixon Library and thought Polly's would be good since I thought they'd have good pies. I was pretty disappointed. The meal started out great with one of the best side Caesar salads I've had along with their delicious cornbread. I had ordered the turkey dinner. As soon as they brought it out I could tell the green beans were canned and tasted like it. The turkey was dry to my shock! Dressing and mashed potatoes was good but that's it. I ordered a piece of apple pie to go after being told I could get apple crisp instead the Dutch apple pie? Funny I saw them in the pie case after I left. It was ok as far as the size and crust. I've had better frozen apple pies. It was a disappointing meal and I probably won't be returning.

There was an event earlier in the morning and I got a coupon for a free 2-pack cinnamon rolls so it was perfect that I was planning to go for dinner that same day! Cinnamon rolls were yummy and I love the fact that the icing comes separate since I'm not the biggest fan of sugary icing. I tried a different dish, Pasta primavera and added grilled chicken. This was good and would recommend it. Their side salad was yummy, had all the good toppings and at the end, my family ordered peach pie and sadly they ran out! This is a seasonal item so they were very disappointed. But it just goes to show you that it's popular and to reserve it once you get seated because my family actually called ahead and asked if it was available and it was but after we ate, they sold out!

I've been coming here for years--my kids love their kids meals and it's an easy dinner for us. We came in this past Monday night around 6:40pm. We walked in, no one was working at the front. There were at least three workers/servers milling about, but no one would stop long enough for us to catch them. . Not one. Single. Person. Acknowledged our presence as we waited to be seated. Soon a line built at the front register for people paying/grabbing pickup orders. I thought that was our chance to be noticed. No. The worker headed to the back on the opposite side by the bar. We tried to wave down the server but he also ignored us. A girl finally reappeared behind the counter--she grabbed her phone, and as my husband walked over saying "excuse me..", she turned around back to the kitchen. It was not busy. It was beyond rude and maybe the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This place has always been slow with service, but this was another level of apathy. We walked out after waiting nearly 25 minutes with not one person working there saying one word to us. I don't know if we'll be back. Ridiculous.

Prime special is a crock ! Walked out when told sold out because of online orders. 4:09 arrival. Elderly waiting for seats all waiting for no prime rib !! Can't call. Recording.

The food is pretty good for the price but they have some excellent pies check it out for yourself

I've been here a few times for breakfast and it is delicious. The sausage and bacon delicious the fruit cup is delicious. The pancakes are yummy.

Polly's Pies in Yorba Linda has definitely gone down hill. I think pretty much Polly's in general has. The prices gave really soared. They are trying to have different specials and Bingo nights to get customers in too. Sad as they have been around for a long time. Now it's like they have raised prices a lot, quantity for price is not equal; the portion sizes are way smaller, the quality of food (and pies) have gone down hill. The food looks and tastes pretty blah. Have you seen the pie prices and how the pies have shrunk. The down home, good comfort food we knew as Polly's does not exist at Polly's anymore. My french dip which I got to go, was so unpleasant looking, literally looked like the meat was bad. I ended up throwing it in the trash. I asked for a side salad in place of the fries. Well that was an upcharge, on top of the $16.99 price of the sandwhich, which was definitely not worth that. So I asked for coleslaw. I got fries instead in my to go container. I wish I had opened the container to really inspect my food, now I know. Anyways, the fries, there were literally like maybe 20, were soft and soggy. The gal automatically put ranch in the bag, assumingIbwanted it with the fries that Indid not order. It was basically water. I gave the gal a $4.00 tip on top of the price of my to go order. So $22+ dollars and basically, no meal. I should have went back and asked for a fresher french dip and/or just got a salad. I do not think I'll be going back anytime soon. If I do, it will be for the bread or biscuits that they make and sale.

Excellent pies!!! Orders a banberry pie it was delish everyone loved it!!! Would order again and again and again it has pieces of banana and strawberry in it.

The service here is atrocious and then when you do get served, the server disappears for a long time and doesn't check up on you. Also, I paid $15 for a grilled cheese sandwich with fruit on the side. This place has THE smallest portion of fruit I've ever seen at a restaurant before, and they are so stingy with the grilled cheese as well. The atmosphere is depressing and reminds me of an old folks home (no offense to old people's homes.) I will not be coming back here or bringing any of my family here because it's a disappointment every time. They do have good pie though.

The server completely ignored me, he offered refills and coffee to go to others but not once did he ask if I'd like to have my beverage refilled (which needed one) I ordered a coke and then the woman at the counter was unhappy and super rude wearing a bonnet (is that part of their uniform?)I went to pay and she was rude, horrible customer service today 6/13/25 at 10:00 am

Miguel was our waiter and he was an exceptional and pleasant server. I would give him 5 stars! However I had a birthday dinner and pie complimented. I also had a coupon for a free pie for everyone in my party. They took both of my coupons and then couldn't comp the other parties pie because they ordered the half a sandwich and soup [which was not a complete meal.] when I asked for coupon back they could not give me one. The manager was condescending and abrupt. I have been coming to Polly's since the first day they were in Yorba Linda. As a faithful customer it was very disappointing. Quite frankly I am not used to this kind of treatment ever.

Finally, an alert, friendly and attentive server for a change!! It's possible ladies and gentlemen. Love the chicken fried steak with the fixin's. This place is always busy on Sundays.

I've reside in YL for 8 years Live literally around the corner of Polly's Pie. Can't believe I've never visited here. Came here on a Tuesday after school w my kids to grab a Pie Shake along w a few slices of pie. The restaurant has a cozy feel with a lot of natural light brightening against the white beautiful walls. Really clean restaurant feel once you step inside. Service is great. But Could be somewhat slow due to staff shortage. Kevin was really patient w us as we decide what pies & shakes we wanted to order. I didn't dine in but visited the coffee bar. They have fresh baked cookies sold individually or box of 8 count. The pies were yum. ~ famous BamBerry (banana & strawberry Pie) was soft & fruits were fresh. Wasn't sweet at all.z ~ Custard pie was good. Taste a bit like a flan. Not overly sweet. ~ Vanilla Pie Shake was really good ~ Strawberry Pie Shake definitely recommended. Taste like fresh strawberries were used. Both shakes wasn't overly sweet. Good amount of Parking available. In same plaza as The Cookie Element. Tip~ Sunday-Thursday kids dine in gets a free lunch to take home 4 pm to closing

Edith & Felix are amazing I have been coming to Polly's for years. Started back at the La Mirada store then decided to try Fullerton because it was closer to home. After attending doctors appointment decided to try YL, I was so amazed to see some old LM buddies both of them have the best work ethic service with a smile. They still put orange slices in the mango tea which other stores don't do. It was so nice to see some familiar faces that reminded me of the great times in la Mirada. The food is beyond tasty totally worth the drive I will be coming back to visit.

I was craving sausage and eggs, but when I saw the giant cinnamon roll French toast I had to have it! The servers were beyond friendly and kept my coffee warm and filled to the top. There are cool pictures of old yorba Linda in Polly's and it makes you feel like you're in an old time diner. By far the best breakfast in Yorba Linda.

One of my favorite places to come for breakfast and my boys love the chicken fried steak I've been coming here for years, not always this specific location, but Polly's in general. The last several times I've come to this location, they've been severely understaffed and for rush-hour weekend lunch or breakfast times is unacceptable. The staff is running around trying their absolute best to take care of the crowd, but to be waiting for 30 minutes and for there to be open tables I just can't understand that on a Sunday. Please do better We love this place.

BINGO on Wednesdays!!! Low key and fun! Baked goods are the prizes and final winner wins a whole pie! Great for family game night!! Be SURE to tip the BINGO Host! Food is always good!

A very reasonably-priced family restaurant with such a cozy feel, and the food is delicious! The waitresses were kind and accommodating!

Evelyn the supervisor and the waiter Flix did an amazing job and had great service. I highly recommend Polly's.

Met my college roommate here while he was in town and visiting the nearby Nixon Library. We were provided excellent service throughout our meal including having our (non-alcoholic) drinks regularly refilled. I ordered the Garlic Aioli Roasted Turkey sandwich. It consisted of slices of deli turkey piled high between two pieces of toasted sourdough with garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, and jack cheese. I was surprised by how great it tasted and how bounteous they were with the ingredients; very filling. The fries I chose as a side were very good although standard fare. When you are at Polly's you are obligated to have a slice of pie. My key lime was sublime. And with that groaner of a "dad joke" it's best I quickly end this review.

Went there for breakfast..ordered ..waited..and waited..finally had to flag someone down..our server never checked on us or refilled coffee..was finally told they lost our ticket! They did comp our meals...which weren't very good actually. Not going back after 25 years...Sad
