Polo Bar - 24 Hour Great British Cafe

Went here for a date per the recommendation of a well known London website. It’s located in the heart of Liverpool St. which meant it was easy to meet my friend. The food was pretty bland. I ordered Cajun chicken and fries, what I got felt like it had come out of the oven. To give this place its upside, the cocktails were BANGING! So tasty and delicious! The staff were friendly and were always helpful.

Neat little bar that’s always open ™️ Little bit of tightness, lots of friendliness, abundance of tasty food. The place is small, so it’s a bit of a tight fit in some of the tables, with just enough room for the food and drinks. We both got English breakfasts, with me getting the mighty version with more food and wife opting for the sensible version of the dish for normal people who don’t eat like madmen. I particularly thought it tasted great, defined flavors for everything and lovely eggs and toast. We also got some fresh orange juice which tasted superb. Service was super nice and friendly too, which is always a plus!

Had the bannofee pancakes, traditional English breakfast and the polo specialty breakfast and they were all great! Came here with 4 persons and we were lucky that they could seat us really fast but you might want to consider making a reservation. If you want a good English style breakfast/lunch it's the place to be!

Great place for all-day breakfast. Traditional favourites, well made, quickly served by courteous and kind staff, well priced and 3 floors of ample seating. Clearly labelled green/red names for vegetarians to identify options. Ample seating. Will be coming back soon!

Genuinely the best breakfast experience I've had in my life. Everything was absolutely spot on; from the brilliantly cozy atmosphere to the uniquely rustic aesthetic and decoration, to the mouth watering selection of food. Plenty of brilliant choices are on offer, from American pancakes to English benedicts. When you walk inside, you are greeted with a beautiful selection of pastries. When you sit down, you feel at home immediately with the cozy vibe. The food is gorgeous - we had the English Breakfast, American Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Benedict. When our food arrived, it was presented very nicely and smelled great. Each dish was perfection, with the right amount of balance. To accompany it, we had tea, which made the ultimate breakfast experience. The servers were all extremely friendly and welcoming! I would go again without a second's hesitation, and the convenient location right outside Liverpool Street Station means it is brilliant for travellers and tourists, especially given how it's open 24 hours.

If you're looking for a place to eat with good food, large portions, and great service, then the Polo Bar is definitely the place visit! Especially the pancake towers deserve a big thumbs-up.

A good lil place for breakfast near Liverpool street station. Great quality and quantity for a good price too. A very cozy place. Hot chocolate is marshmallows is one of my favourite things. Its open 24 x 7, so if u have an early day to start or might have to take a train from Liverpool street station, this place can be a good breakie option for you.

Having come across a recommendation on Instagram we made a point of checking out the Polo Bar on our trip down from Scotland. Their breakfast offering was said to be be phenomenal and I have to say it did not disappoint. A small to medium menu is always encouraging to know that the food is fresh and made to order, the service we had was welcoming and just what you are looking for in a breakfast dining experience, Classics as you’d expect but also some nice alternative additions available in a breakfast to set you up for the day.
