I have to say my experience this dine in visit was great. The staff will greet you friendly. The place is clean. The rest room was clean and smelled nice. This time I ordered fried pork chunks with moro rice and fried tostones. The meat was very tender and juicy. The rest was nice also. My wife ordered a steak sandwich and a malteada smoothy. I highly recommend this place. I'm sure there will be something to try and satisfy anybody. I will come back again for sure. Thank you

I had the guava, cheese and bacon pizza. It's a guava marmalade base, then cream cheese, mozzarella and bacon on top. I love sweet and savory combine combos so this is a favorite of mine! But all the pizzas are amazing as are the staff! Prices are very reasonable, actually kind of cheap if you consider the Miami area is crazy expensive.

Had a great lunch with the family. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the place had a clean, welcoming vibe. Would come back again.

The waitress Yenelis made my coffee bonbon. It was incredibly delicious and it had the perfect balance between leche condensada and espresso bean coffee, making it extremely vibrant and as you can see from the picture; with a magnificent presentation.

The food here is delicious. The customer service was exceptional, with our waitress, Deya, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Her attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Beware of ordering online! Do not order anything from them online! I had an awful experience with Polo Norte. I placed an online order and was immediately charged, but never received any confirmation — no email, no order number, nothing. When I called the restaurant to figure out what happened, the staff was completely unhelpful. They basically told me it wasn't their problem and that I should "call my bank" instead of even trying to look into it. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating. I ended up being charged for food I never got, with zero support from the restaurant. I won't be ordering from here again.

Very good authentic Cuban food. They also have Italian food cooked Cuban style which is great as well. Milkshakes are really good at this restaurant. Each visit you can try something new. One day you can eat steak or chicken and the next visit you can have lasagna or pizza. For dessert they also have an ice cream parlor built into the restaurant. The variety of the foods is the strong point. Courteous waiters attend to you and food is served promptly. Update: Went back in 2024 on July 4th. Great shakes, mamey flavor and banana and a nice pizza with family, great service and food once again.

Description I haven't been to a polo norte in a while an decided to go again from the last time I went years ago. Polo norte is a cuban style restaurant that sells hispanic food as well as pizza. When we were sat down I felt something dripping on me and when I look up I had moldy water from and AC vent dripping down. What I ordered I ordered a cordon bleu with smashed potatoes, a mamey shake which was actually delicious, a burger and fries for my son and my husband ordered masitas de puerco with rice and beans. When it came to the cordon bleu the inside was cold or not cooked im not sure which way to describe it, the chicken part was fully cooked but when it came to the hame and cheese filling that was fully cold and the mashed potatoes were dry. The masita de puerco was also dry as well and thought to chew on. Value The value it comparable to other place based off portion and size given. Ambiance/Crowd It was a laid back ambiance and crowd you see people of all ages here. Service The service was good I dont have complaints about the service. Parking Parking can be a little tedious since it does share parking with a shopping center and can be full depending on the time that you go. 5 year olds thought corner My son was not too fond of the burger he took a few bites and states he did not want anymore, my husband took a bite from the burger and stated it was not the best.

We been to this place a few times. The service and food are very good. We usually order the Cuban pizza with a ceasar salad. The pizza never disappoints. Highly recommended.

I just went to Polo Norte today, I've been here many times before & rarely have a bad experience but today is my last time coming here. I ordered the Masitas de puerco & they tasted spoiled. I asked for white rice with black beans & the beans tasted terrible, couldn't eat them. My Mil didn't like the spaghetti's she ordered either the tomato sauce tasted bad. I normally wouldn't be upset if I wasn't happy with what I ordered but the service we got today is what made me now want to come back. The lady that served us, looked like she didn't want to be there & didn't smile not once. When I asked for another plate after we already ordered she seemed annoyed that I was asking her something. So imagine if I would've told her that my food tasted spoiled. I just didn't eat it, we Paid & left but the waitress is the reason I won't be coming back. I can't eat at a restaurant where I feel unwelcome & uncomfortable. Edit: to top it off my 72yr old dad ate some of my pork too & today he's been throwing up & now he's on his way to the doctor, because we think it's food poisoning.

Cuban restaurant, friendly staff. Good Cuban pizza with fresh ingredients. The spaghetti is delicious. They offer quick take out ( tip: call and order ahead ) When I was paying for the take out, the lady was super nice and offered me some Cuban coffee she had made on the house!!! Small things like this go a long way!!! Well recommended!!!!

This restaurant is a SCAM. Do not go if you value your money. The man working there took advantage of my husband by overcharging him for various items, taking advantage of the fact that my husband doesn't speak Spanish well. They'll add 20% gratuity to your order even if you order takeout so be aware when they charge you. Este restaurante es una estafa. No vayas si valoras tu dinero. If you've been good, you deserve some pizza. But if you've been a norte boy or a norte girl, guess what. You can still have pizza! Especially if you show up wearing a Polo Norte neck. Really interesting and exciting Cuban pizza place which is packed from wall to wall and fairly cheap for a quick-but-fun sit-down experience. There's also an order window on the outside where you can get your pizza on to go, but make no mistake, this is not American pizza. This is Cubano all the way, and it's... different. And great! They have lots of stuff that isn't pizza too, and the menu is full of Cuban and Cuban-American treats. The girl working at the to go window was helpful and attractive, even if some of the other customers were rude. Wait times can be pretty hefty, but this place is very popular, so I understand completely.

Went to Polo Norte to try it out for the first time! The staff were very friendly and the food is good! And at a fair price! I ordered the pepperoni pizza The pepperoni came underneath the cheese which was pretty interesting. The cheese tasted great and the personal pan size was perfect for me. The Croquetas were okay. Will definitely come back to try some more of their pizzas! ¡Fuí al polo Norte para probarlo por primera vez! ¡Los trabajadores son bien simpáticos y la comida está buena! ¡Y a buen precio! Typical Cuban restaurant known for their Cuban Pizza but my favorite plate is the Breaded Chicken steak with Rice Moro and fried sweet potatoes ! They make it very well. Also their Banana Split Ice Cream is great as a Desert if you can split with 2 o 3 people better cause it's pretty big !

I had heard good things so I took my chances. The palomilla was amazing - just the right thickness, super juicy and tasted fresh. I was very impressed. The moros were also good as were the fried plantains. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Estoy todavia sentada en este lugar, para ser sinceros nadie espera un servicio 5 estrella de este lugar pero llevo años viniendo porque me gusta la crema virginia, yo vivo en west palm beach y bajo hasta aqui porque me gusta, la crema, llegando a lugar pido mi crema y me la traen fria, pedi a otra muchacha que no era mi mesera que si por favor podria calentarla un poquito, la respuesta a mi peticion fue que pusieron en el microondas tanto tiempo que se desbordo el cup de crema y asi mismo esta señorita me la trajo, luego de 5 minutos de yo intentar asimilar esto viene esta misma muchacha y con tremendo sarcasmo me pregunta riendose... ahora esta muy caliente??? En fin yo no soy una persona super exigente con el servicio porque pase 8 años de mi vida como mesera, pero esto es horrible

We enjoyed everything, even the shakes. My coworker recommended this place and we drove from Boca Raton. Service was good and prompt. My pizza was so fresh and flavorful. My husband loved his fish with tostones. We'll be back.

Late night call for pizza. This Cuban twist is sure to satisfy your cheese obsession. The personal pizza is $8 and it's perfect for one person. We ordered a chorizo personal and a pepperoni personal to go. Don't be fooled by the lonely pepperoni on top of the pie, these meaty surprises are buried under all that cheese. The crust is cooked just the way I like it. A perfect crunch in a every bite! Haven't tried their pasta, but I've seen photos and I will repeat. Ordered to-go. Total of 15 minutes from call to drive home. That's what I'm talking about. Pros: Open late, quick service and cheap. Con: would love for it to be open 24 hours.

Well, I would like to start this review by saying that I love to eat there, but now the only word that comes to my mind is "unpleasant." The please itself smelled like fish, and our table was so dirty that it even had grease on top of it. The personnel wasn't wearing gloves. They were talking even without masks. I ordered a Pargo Filet Milanesa style, omg! Disgusting, it was almost raw; it looks like someone inside reheated. What else can I say? This place is too far from what it was before, such a lack of quality and professionalism. Additional: Personnel even doesn't speak English.

I've been here before and this time it was a big miss, there were employees walking around like lost and we waited 37 minutes before someone came and took out order them the food took super long time and we told the waitress that the garlic rolls were dry and she took them back and when she brought the other rolls they were drenched in so much oil that it was dripping from the kitchen to our table and all over the sodas. Terrible food terrible service and then they put an order of plantains on our table after it was sitting there for 10 minutes because we didn't know why she would bring them when we didn't order them she took them and took it to another table omg insane specially with this pandemic. Never ever again !!!!

Polo Norte has a special place in my heart. The pizzas remind me to the ones in my home town. Their service has improved a lot and so is the facility but sometimes the greasy food or amount of calories are bad for you. Sueros are amazing and so is the mixed pizza. Want to go lighter? Try the fish sandwich on a media noche bread.

It was one of those nights where my boyfriend wanted Cuban food and I was craving pasta, coming across Polo Norte was the perfect option for us! It has been advertised on Yelp and I've had several friends tell me how much they love their pizza. We figured we'd give it a try. Once we got there, it was packed with people waiting outside. Fortunately for us, there was a tab,e available for two so we didn't have to wait. Our waitress came promptly even with the restaurant being pretty busy. For food, my boyfriend ordered the Vaca Frita and I ordered the Meat Lasagna per the waitresses recommendation. Glad I listened to her!! The lasagna was everything I wanted. It had a lot of meat and cheese and lighter with the tomato sauce, which is exactly how I like it! Still thinking about it... My boyfriend said the Vaca Frita was good, nothing special. I'll be making my way back soon!

How about you train your delivery drivers!!! If we ask that u do not honk it's for a reason!! Maybe there's a new born or a old person point is if we give specific delivery instructions it's for a reason!!! And still!! He honks while he's pulling up then does this giant knock and when I ask him why did honk he told me because he likes to honk!!! And the disrespectful non/man( cuz man won't do that) still!! Honked when pulling away! Which was on purpose!!! The food might be good but it's not worth having to deal with rude people you sent as your delivery. !

Best Pizzas and Ice Creams in town! They have almost every possible Pizzas (Cuban style) and prices are good. For the Ice Creams is like being in Coppelia back in the days...

Didn't eat inside but ordered some pizza for pick up. The place looked nice inside and out-- more of a family restaurant, and pretty full weekend nights! Got the family size cheese pizza and it was DELICIOUS!!! Will come back again for sure!

It looks like the pizza got smaller. That is called "cutting corners" to me... regular personal pizza with green peppers and onion $10 is super expensive. I won't go back. Coral Way location. Parking is horrible, I parked at the BK next door.

We ordered a pizza with extra cheese, but we received 45 min later a ham pizza. By the time someone realized it was the wrong pizza , some of it had been eaten and with 3 girls that hate all toppings but cheese. We called and explained the situation, and we were told they were sending a cheese pizza. That never happened, so we called again. This time no one knew what had happened , and we were mistreated by a very rude manager. We told him he could keep the pizza and we weren't ordering from there again.

My service was Daniela, she is very nice, attentive and the food was delicious, made me feel in my country. Perfect place for the family

This Polo Norte has been around. It was the first one to open here in the SW. I enjoy eating the Cuban food here, it is cheap and they serve a good amount of food, enough for two to share. I always order the yuca frita to start. The garlic breads are delicious. The vaca frita and grilled chicken are my favorite with white rice, black beans, and plantains. My favorite dessert is copa Lolita. They are really know for their Cuban style pizzas.

C'mon people. Price/quality gives this place a high 4. I went with my parents last night amd everything that was ordered was good. We had mariquitas as starter, then i tried the hawaian pizza, one with onions and another one with peppers and they were all delicious. Of course, these are "cuban style" not the NY pizza. Our server was attentive as well, nothing extraordinary but she was there when we needed her. Oh and the best part: the bunuelos. I had two orders!

Pathetic. In the same week they have managed to get my order wrong three times. Their food might be good, but when you wait an hour after your family eats for your meal- it's not that good. They don't understand what no lettuce means on a pan con bistec AND twice they forgot to send the chicken parm pasta. Order from somewhere else.

I felt like having a different kind of toppings on my pizza tonight and went with the platanito pizza plus a pepperoni pizza to share between my husband and I and Polo Norte didn't disappoint. Quick delivery and crispy just how I ordered it.. thank you!!!

Consistenly great food, I have been going there for a few months now and don't have any complains. The prices are cheap, the service is friendly although Spanish is spoken by I would say ALL of the staff; so don't be afraid to ask for help from the table next to you if you need a bit of help when ordering. It is a family/group oriented restaurant so the more the merrier I have had the (Famous) pizza, fruit and milk shakes, along with most common latin dishes acoompanied with rice, beans, and fried plaintains (maduros). I must admit that everyone that has ventured there with me has gone back and braged about the food to their friends. All in all this place is must do for the latin food craving/exprience.

The restaurant is outdated and not very clean but the food and service are great, first time eating real Cuban food in Miami. We were only two and ordered Antojito as an appetizer and a regular Hawaiian pizza and we are stuffed! Didn't even get a chance to try the desserts.

There food is amazing. If you want a great Spanish Cuban pizza this is the place to come. There milkshake are amazing. Tip ask for your pizza to be well done. And spaghetti is meh.

Great place to eat Pizza Cubana ! We Cubans know what I'm talking about! When you go there you feel a nice Cuban ambience and the food is delicious. Me and Mami we share a lasagna and a pizza cause was a lot of food, then for dessert we order The rum cake !! I highly recommend this place btw people are really nice and they treat you like family .

Authentic Cuban Pizza! Yes, with lots of cheese. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. We also ordered the strawberry fruit drink and it was amazing. The place gets packed on the weekends.

When you're looking for some authentic Cuban food, you've gotta go to Polo Norte on Flagler. Their Cuban pizza is LIFE! The dough is nice and soft and the pizza is filled with cheese. You can also customize to get a variety of toppings. I've only gone for the pizza, so I can vouch for the Hawaiian pizza and the chorizo with bacon. A personal sized is enough for one very hangry foodie, so rest assured you'll get your money's worth. The quality of the food is always excellent and I love that the prices are fair. Sometimes the service has been a bit slow, but it's been a lot better in recent times that I've been there with my boyfriend. However, the food never disappoints. Don't forget to try one of their milkshakes, too! They have so many different flavors to choose from (my faves are mint chip and mango). All in all, Polo Norte is one of the best choices around for Cuban food. I have to go again and try some of their different entrees, but that Cuban pizza is the best I've had!

Just stopped by the new polo Norte on coral way, what a horrible experience ! Sat at the bar and didn't get acknowledged for 15 min!!! The bartender was in the weeds with just me and a friend and the bar, did not acknowledge did not ask someone to help here and manager passed by four times. What a horrible team, I hope the owner really gets on the manager and their training at this resturant. This will not last long at all.

Horrible customer service, they never checked the window for customers. I had to wait 1 hour more in the window, after I ordered for take out one hour before. Moreover the terrible wait while it was raining, they gave the wrong order. Terrible organization.

The food at this restaurant is AMAZING !!! It does not taste frozen or processed. Ingredients taste fresh ! I absolutely loved eating ! I usually eat at Rey Pizza but will be switching over to Polo Norte !!! Pieces can't be beat either ! I give it 4 starts because the waitresses could use a hit more training in customer services instead of making the client feel like an annoyance but besides that, it's great ! Definitely order ahead of time because wait time can be a bit much !

The starting service was meh! our server kinda forgot we were waiting for our menu and waters and was chatting away with the table next door to us. Thankfully she passed us on to someone else. Win Win!! The guy was lovely to look at. He was fast with our orders and didn't missed a thing. My Cesar salad was great considering it was a Cuban joint, although small. My chicken was great and so was the rest of the dishes according to the rest of the table. But the BEST part was the dessert. The Guava and Fresa Bonbon ice cream was to die for! You could tell it was made in house with fresh ingredients. My boyfriend and I aren't big dessert or even ice cream fans but this place was the exception to the rule. Would most definitely come back!!!!

It is unfortunate that I am writing a unsatisfactory review of the Polo Norte restaurant but it is mostly due to a lack of attention from the part of the host of your restaurant. He deliberately skipped my party 4 times as he sat down other families before us and scratched off their names after mine on the list. What's worse is that at no moment did the host make any attempt to look in our general direction and ignored my party completely. I've eaten at Polo Norte many times in the past and generally enjoy the food and service, but this event is not acceptable of any restaurant.

The story is.... I had one too many last night, and after looong hiatus and the need seeping in, tequila seemed nice. It wasn't. I don't know what it is about hangovers and pizza that just work, but I wasn't about to deny natural instinct. This place had opened a few months back, and even though it didn't fit with the surrounding fritangas and nicaraguense shops, I thought i'd give it a try one day, especially after a bad experience with the nearby rey's pizza. After a few coronas and shared shots of milagro silver tequila, today was the day. I ordered the Hawaiian personal to go and zipped away home. Setting in front of my laptop and while watching 40 yr old virgin, I ate. I ate, and I loved. This pizza blew rey's pizza out of the water. No pun intended. It was great cheese, sauce was not that big of a factor, but it was good, too. The thing I loved most was the crust. It was soft and crunchy on the outside, and the toppings were bountiful. I really like this place, and especially how nice it looks inside, I'll be coming back to eat inside. The staff were nice, too.

Best ham Cuban pizzas! We usually order individual size and they never disappoint, they are all good but my fav is the ham one. Deserts are great as well.

This place is terrible! The "antojitos" like they call it have been fried in old grease and you can smell it and taste it, it was a waste of money. The pizza is terrible compared to Rey's pizza or Montes de Oca and the spaghetti is bottle ragú sauce and this is supposed to be a Cuban pizza place and the spaghetti sauce for the Cuban spaghetti is way different. Definitely do not recommend this place.
