I can't tell you for sure that the food here tastes like Colombian or like Polish but I surely will say that it tastes delicious. I had the Arepa with beet sand carrot salad, a delicious green salsa, and beef meat. It was a very balanced flavor and a fair portion as well. The other meal options included sausages, and baked potatoes that looked very good and will make me come back again in the near future. The people working here were super nice and helpful. 10/10.

Wow!!!!! First time here and definitely will be returning back. Amazing food!!!! Great flavors. I had the Arepa-Ski with chicken as my protein. I loved it the griddled cornmeal patty with honey ricotta was delicious and that herby green sauce that accompanied my arepas was so delicious and seasoned properly. I then got the Keilbasa Perro, don’t know where to begin with this. Yes, basically it’s a hot dog. However. The flavors presented in this dish were absolutely delicious. The bread, signature sauce and pineapple sauce with a very delicious polish sausage. Amazing!!! Probably one of my favorites from Polombia. Last but not least I got the Sal-CHI-papa, and order of potatoes with sausage, sauces & scallions. I had only wish the potatoes were fried til they were extremely crispy, however, they were soft which was not my favorite but nonetheless the dish was great! Amazing flavors in all dishes. Will definitely be back! Thank you.

Polombia does an amazing job at combining flavors of both Colombia and Poland! The flavors are out of this world, from the main dish to the side sauces, they are a perfect blend of sweet and savory. My personal favorite was la zapiekanka! It was the best polish pizza sub I have ever had! The owners, Phil and Cynthia, do an outstanding job running their restaurant and I will definitely be back again for more Arepa-ski! Thank you for the delicious food! 10/10!

The place is located in TimeOut market which is fantastic! That’s about the only positive experience we had here. When we were placing the order, they seemed to have ran out of their Emparogis and potatoes (usually a good sign as there is high demand) so we waited. 15 minutes afterwards, the waitress took our order which was supposed to be vegetarian Emparogis, La Zapiekanka, and the Sal-CHA-Papa and a water. Between the confusion of ordering, the wait, and being hungry we just accepted the order that we had received. We received golden fried potatoes (not what we had ordered) but that isn’t the end of the world. The ‘vegetarian’ Emparogis were as they had meat in them. The only thing that they got right was the vegetarian La Zapiekanka which is for a very particular taste. The pineapple and salsa on top of the lentils do not complement each other due to the over powering sweet taste. All and all, I would not come here and definitely not recommend this place just for the poor services, and lack of taste. With the pricing (Emparogis are 5 for $14!), it makes it even harder to recommend as there are many fantastic restaurants in the area.

Couldn't decide on Polish food or Colombian food for dinner tonight so wound up on POLOMBIA's website and WOW was I in for a treat! After ordering 75% of the menu, I can confirm that you will want to eat here! We ordered the Emparogis, La Zapiekanka, Sal-CHI-Papa, and the Kielbasa Perro and everything was divine! Also very important, please order one of the Tymbark Fruit Juices, they pair wonderfully with vodka or tequila! We will definitely be coming back here in the future. Note: Due to the pandemic, POLOMBIA is currently partnering with a restaurant called the Outpost Mexican Eatery to serve customers on weekends through a "pop-up" arrangement. You will pick up your food at the exit door of the Outpost or you can call for curbside pick-up. The staff is SUPER friendly.

Just when it seemed the food trend of fusion had run its course, you find Polombia. The idea of mixing two counties’ food or doing the one country’s food in the style of any country is not a new idea, but this restaurant’s is breathing fresh air into the genre. They have two cuisines, Columbian and Polish, that I would not think you could combine to come up with such delicious food. However, Polombia delivers. Aside from the pure creativity, their food is very good. When I went, I ordered Arepas, the La Zapiekanka, Kielbasa Perro and two Kolaches. While all the food tasted good, my favorite was the Kielbasa Perro and the La Zapiekanka. The sausage on the Kielbasa Perro was cooked to perfection, the bun was soft and the pickles provided a nice Britney crunch. I liked the La Zapiekanka so much because the chicken when went well with all of the toppings and the nicely toasted bread. It’s also a mush stop for their Kolaches, a collab with Howdy Kolache. I also liked that they feature sodas and juices from both Colombia and Poland. While the ones I tied where a bit sweet for my taste, it was nice to have access to try drinks from around the world that might the hard to find. The atmosphere was amazing. It’s inside Time Out Chicago market and the quick and fun food fits right it the food hall atmosphere. If you are the West Loop/Fulton Market area, this is a use stop.

This is an amazing concept, where Polish meets Colombian, with incredible food and service! We ordered the salchi-papas and emparogi, and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the food here! Please come and give this place a try, you will be glad you did!

As a Polish Texan, I visited Chicago for the first time and was told I need to try this place and it did not disappoint. I got the Emparogi and Kielbasa Perro and WOW! So delicious. Not only was the food amazing but the owners were working the restaurant themselves and were so incredibly kind, you can tell they love what they do and their passion for it shines in their food. Highly recommend!

I can honestly say I didn't know if I ever had Polish or Columbian food, but I definitely knew I hadn't had them combined. :) I can now say I am a fan of both. The Flavors drew me in! I was a huge fan of the following: Veg Emparogis Sal-CHI-Papa Kielbasa Perro Honey Ricotta Arepa-Ski Golden Fried Yukon Potatoes Nutella Kolaczki Imported Apple Flavored Soda Such a great spot to come to for lunch in the Loop!

I was so excited to try this spot - but when I got there, was underwhelmed by the menu and only ordered the emperogis. This + a $3 water + tax + and a tip bc I was in a good mood = $22!!!!!!!! LOL Like it could have been served on plate...anywho. The price is what threw us for a loop - $14 for this!? LoL that's almost $3 for each of these tiny munchie food things! The filling was mush and didn't taste any meat (short ribs? Lol also WTF at some pic posted 9 months ago with actual beef chunks on top of these?). It was tasty don't get me wrong (enjoyed the sauce too), but as someone who lives in LA - no way this item would be that expensive. We didn't order any other item due to this being just ok. 1 star for innovation + 1 star for friendly service + 1 star for being edible.

I ordered: 1. Emparogis - Empanada x Pierogi - Potato, Short Rib, Caramelized Onions, Sofrito, Chives, Aji Crema 2. Sal-CHI-Papa - classic Columbian street food with Polish twist - Golden Fried Potato, Polish Sausage, Scallions, Polombia Aioli, Garlic Aioli, Pineapple Glaze 3. Kielbasa Perro - Polish Sausage, Muenster, Polombia Aioli, Garlic Aioli, Pineapple Glaze, Crushed Kettle Chips 4. Kolaczki - Marmalade filled Buttery Pastry - I tried guava! I'm not the biggest fan of fusion cuisine but Polombia nails it! I loved the flavors of the polish sausage, sauces, and the short rib filling in the emparogis. Portions were excellent. Kielbasa dog is enormous and the sal chi papa box is enough for 2 people. Kolaczki were tasty little treats. Manny was knowledgeable and fun to talk to! Plenty of seating in the urban space food hall.

I love a good fusion restaurant, so this was right up my alley. I also like this location in Urbanspace, near all the shopping on State Street, making it super convenient to pop in for a quick bite. After perusing some interesting menu options, I decided to try the emparogis. I'm no stranger to empanadas or pierogis and thought this was a pretty good mashup - very tasty! After about 3 though, I'd had my fill and wished they offered these as a smaller portion or a side so I could've sampled more of the menu. I'll definitely be back to try the salt-chi-papa and kielbasa perro!

This place has been on my list for the last few months and I'm beyond excited that I finally got to try polish-Colombian fusion! Ordered La Zapiekanka which was a great twist on a classic Polish street food. I haven't had one of these since I last visited Krakow and it brought me happiness and nostalgia. The additional of salsa and meat was spectacular, super delicious! My husband ordered the pączki burger which was QUICKLY devoured. Everything was outstanding from ordering, the customer service we pleasantly received in Polish, wait time for food, quality, presentation, and taste of food. We will happily be back! You definitely need to check this place out!

Food- kielbasa petti hot dog was not that great. It has pineapple sauce and crispy flakes. Taste is meh 3/10. Sausage is pretty huge. This site features they are 50% off 3pm-5pm (see pic) however once you order they will tell you that it's not for their location. Very misleading!

The kids got a burger , some cheesy chicken bread and guava pastry ... everything was okay nothing wow worthy. I had meaning to try this place for a while . Will come back to try arepas sometime.

I don't know what I was expecting from polish Columbian fusion. I was more curious than anything of how the mismash of these different countries would taste. I got the emperogis - empanada perogies. They were good. It was more like a perogie than an empanada (basically it had a bit crispier shell and had some beef in the filling), but still worth it. Go again? Yes but I'd probably try something else, this menu has a lot of creative options.

I got the lentil soup and it was delicious! Flavorful with a touch of heat. Nice firm carrots and a few potatoes. Come out piping hot. Great on a chilly day. Server was sweet and I was served in less than 5 minutes.

Underrated favorite spot at Timeout Market. What a cool fusion! I've tried a few of their dishes and they are always fantastic. I know there's a lot of new options at Timeout, and more opening every day, but don't count this spot out!

We went to Polombia earlier this week and the food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend the salchipapas and paczki burger--so good! The fusion of flavors is unique and works so well together.

Time Out Market is a pretty cool spot in a cool part of town. I loved the vibe walking in and found Polombia immediately as my first stop here. The guy working the counter was extremely nice and patiently answered all our questions. I've never had Polish Colombian fusion cuisine before, so was pretty sold on getting something from here. We ended up getting the arepa-ski and sal-chi-papa. Aprepa-ski: Like a few others noted here, I think this is a pass. Nice concept, but I'm not a huge fan of the polenta texture for the base, and the chicken was kind of forgettable in terms of flavor. Sal-chi-papa: Definitely worth trying and what makes this place a 4-star. This was the recommendation and I'm glad I got it. It's really flavorful and the seasoning is on point. The potatoes were grilled perfectly, although I wish they gave more polish sausage. It's definitely filling though!

Only in Chicago are you going to have a Polish Colombian combination. I had the Kielbasa Perro. This is not your mother's is hot dog. The Polish sausage is deeply savory and juicy with its smokiness's very evident. You need the pickles to offset it. This is gourmet dogs. The emparogi is really more like a pirogi that looks like an empanada. The braised short rib on the inside is tender and full of flavor at the same time its contrasted and made a hole by the potato filling. My wife likes it a lot. Polombia is one of the fine outlets at Time Out Market on Fulton Market. The foods are sort of a fusion mashup between Polish and Colombian cuisine, as the proprietors are representative of those two countries. You get a buzzer that will tell you when your food is ready. They do take a few minutes to prepare the food, so you know it's all made fresh for you. Still, I stared impatiently at that buzzer, waiting for it to light up... My love and I tried a couple of their dishes. We enjoyed the Kielbasa Perro, a gourmet Polish sausage topped with pickle slices and stacked atop a toasty roll. The Arepa-Ski consists of two arepas, and you can get different toppings if you wish. I liked the roasted chicken better than the short rib, which was a surprise to me as usually I love short rib. The two arepas are like a couple of little open-faced sandwiches, chewy and gooey and messy and tasty.

This is a unique food stall located inside the trendy Time Out Market in the Fulton Market District. I ordered the Kielbasa perro, which was tasty and which I enjoyed. My friend ordered the Arepaskis, which were just ok in our opinion, as the meat especially the beef, was quite tough. All of the vendors (10+ different food options) in the Time Out Market share the same seats with abundant communal seating on the first floor, and additional seats available on the 2nd floor of the building as well.

I've had this place under my radar since I moved to Chicago in late 2020 when they were still located in a different food hall (but everything was shut down due to COVID). Fortunately, I finally got the chance to try this last night at the TimeOut Market (which is really a cool place to be at in general). The entire place was packed, and finding seating was a bit difficult, but we decided to take our food up to the third floor and sit out on the outdoor patio. I will say, it did take a while for my food to come out, but I'm assuming they must've had a lot of orders in front of me. Anyways, the Kielbasa Perro was bomb, and by no means did it feel authentically Colombian to me, but we all knew this going in as it is a fusion restaurant, and that is perfectly ok. I did appreciate that this meal came with some sprinkled broken potato chips on top which is typical of a Colombian hot dog. I also ordered this vegetarian item that has lentils in it. It was ok, but I'd definitely like to try some of their other items like the emparogi. You're going to definitely be spending a bit more at this place, especially considering their location, but I was still fully content!

This is a Polish-Colombian place located within a downtown food court called Urban Space. I had Sal-CHI-Papa. Although it's advertised to have tomato, garlic, pineapple etc. it's mainly loads of potatoes and sausages with sauce. The flavor was great, and it's a good portion for the price. The food presentation also looked nice. Wish they had more items on their menu. Would re-visit this interesting cultural place!

What a unique combination of cultures, Polish and Columbian! We had the Emparogi, very similar to a pierogi. We had the beef and it was absolutely delicious. They were made fresh and the meat was tender and the sweet potato dough was the perfect compliment. The sauce , a yogurtbased sauce was perfect for dipping. The Salchipapa was also very good. Potatoes, smoked polish sausage drizzled with two aiolis and a pineapple glaze. The sweet pineapple was the perfect pairing with garlic and onions. It is located in Timeout Market and the service was excellent.

Based on the other reviews, it seems like the consensus is that the arepa-ski is not the most impressive item on the menu. I can confirm that my vegetarian arepa-ski (with lentils rather than chicken) was nothing to write home about. There were several elements to the meal that I particularly enjoyed, such as the dense and slightly crispy arepa as well as the zippy aji sauce. However, I found the meal to be lacking cohesiveness: the arepas were slathered in honey and ricotta, which made the dish overpoweringly sweet even upon adding the lentils and pickled slaw (both of which were pleasant, but not strong enough to offset the ricotta/honey combo). Rather than combining all of the ingredients for the 2nd arepa, I decided to mix the lentils and aji together to make a stew and then eat the 2nd ricotta/honey arepa as a pseudo-dessert. This was far more enjoyable than adding all of the elements of the dish together, although it was not quite what I was looking for. Overall, I was not overly impressed with Polombia. The presentation of my food was excellent, and the price was actually quite reasonable for the amount of food I received. However, the ricotta and honey brought this meal into "breakfast/brunch" territory, and the other ingredients were not great complements. I would've given Polombia 3.5 stars, but decided to give 4 given that other people seem to agree that this dish is the weakest on the menu. I will likely return because I think this place has potential.

I'm normally very skeptical about fusion cuisine, but I think Polombia is on to something. I stopped by their stand at Time Out Market and couldn't resist giving their short rib emparogis (empanada-pierogi fusion) a try. Delicious!!! An order came with five fairly good-sized emparogis, lightly seared and stuffed with short rib and sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were a delightful surprise, and together with the beef and seasoning lent a nice sweet-savory touch to the dish. Although the emparogis are listed under mains, they were more suitable for a light dinner. If you're hungry, I'd recommend adding a side to fill out the meal. Shout out for friendly service here, too. Not only from the guy who took my order and cooked it, but also from the nice woman who answered when I called ahead to check on their hours. That definitely makes me inclined to return!

We love a good food hall! With some many great yelp reviews, we knew we had to try it! So we sat at a table and ordered through their website. The site quoted us 20 minutes, but it took over 40 minutes. After 40 minutes we got up to check which is when we realized the food had clearly been waiting. I'm vegetarian so I ordered the vegetarian Emparogis, which turned out to be just sweet potato pierogies with a cilantro sauce. My husband ordered the Sal-CHI-Papa which is potatoes loaded with polish sausage. The food was good overall, but not something we'd wait 40 minutes ago again.

Wow! Super creative and great place. I loved the Kielbasa perro. The owner described it as a symphony and she was right. Unexpected combo of flavors and textures but it really delivered. Service was amazing and friendly too. Looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the items on the menu.

Really mediocre. Maybe it's because I'm polish but I really didn't enjoy the "crust" with the beef, it just doesn't mix well in my opinion. The sauce that they gave was better than the emparogi. Also they burnt the first batch and had to make a new one which made the food take 20 min. I'd rather wait for a new batch than eat burnt ones though. They gave a free tymark (polish juice) for the inconvenience. Maybe I need to try some other dishes. Honestly just go to a polish or Colombian restaurant. Also $15 for 5 is a bit absurd. I had a sandwich before hand and I was still hungry so I wanted something to keep me full for my dance performance but after eating those 5 I was still not full.

I saw this restaurant on a TV show and decided to stop in to check it out. The staff was extremely friendly. I ordered the short rib empanadas. The flavor was a bit bland. It seemed to be more potato than short rib. They were more like mini empanadas- the size of potstickers. I'd be willing to try something different on the menu; I love the concept. However I was not impressed by my first visit.

Overall: Drenched in sauce--mediocre Polish/Colombian fusion Pros: - Kielbasa was a quality sausage - The food was prepared quickly Cons: - Expensive; we ordered 3 things and it was $50 - Everything was drenched in sauce - La Zapiekanka was underwhelming, soggy and bland - The meat was chewy inside the short rib emparogis I need to respect my grading scale and give them a 3 but they were much closer to a 2

What a great combination of cuisines this concept overpassed our expectation! The Kielbasa perro and the Kolaci were so good andcan't wait to go back again!

Really interesting idea, just wish it was a little more reasonably priced. I got the La Zapiekanka which is kinda like an open-faced sandwich. It's a long baguette with cheese, tomatoes, ham, and a couple sauces (aiolis really) on top. It was great, awesome flavor. Go with the ham too, it definitely added something rather than just chicken. I would recommend it. I also got some golden potatoes which were a little bland to be honest. Fortunately I asked for a dipping sauce and the guys provided me some aioli but I'm not sure I'd recommend the potatoes again. Overall the food was great, would try other items on the menu too. But damn, it's not cheap. Nothing in Time Out Market is cheap....

So glad I finally got to stop by this place. Food is amazing, hosts warm and knowledgeable, and chef passionate about his craft. Presentation is wonderful and the Kielbasa (sausage) I had was top notch. I was not expecting the pickles to have a little spicy kick. It was a pleasant surprise. The drink selection is also unique (in a good way). Mango/mint or cactus juice is not something you run across often outside of a Polish store. They so have Colombian choices I still need to try. Patio has heaters so don't let the cooler weather scare you and give this place a try. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

The emparogi are great for a light snack. At $15 though, they are not even half of a full meal. I'm not sure what full grown adult would be full after 5 small pirogi. They need to add something else to this meal to make it a real meal. The food is tasty enough and the latin/polish fusion is an interesting combination but come on the portion is ridiculous.

I chose Polombia for my lunch when we visited Time Out Market. I was super intrigued by the combination of cuisines/heritages (Polish + Colombian) and couldn't pass up a chance to try something so unique. I was sitting up on the rooftop with some friends and was able to order and pay on my phone after scanning a QR code and selecting Polombia as my restaurant/stall of choice. The process was easy and very straightforward and I received a message stating when my food would be ready. I headed down at the stated time and on my way I got an extra text message telling me my food was ready and to come get it. Yay for thoroughness and punctuality! The friendly employee at the register asked my name and had my food waiting for me. Easy as pie (although climbing back up a couple stories with a heaping tray of food was a little less easy, haha). I ordered the arepa-ski with roasted chicken and a side of potatoes. This was my first time trying an arepa and I enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of sopes, but the cornmeal patty is a touch airier. The honey ricotta added a subtle sweetness and the chicken was tender. Texturally, it was a very fun dish, and beautifully plated, too. I thought it tasted good, but I will say I thought the flavors weren't quite as punchy/bold as I was really expecting. Not sure I tasted the aji sauce at all, but maybe they used a light hand. The potato side was delightfully buttery and salty, so all delicious there. My friend got a "la zapiekanka." I didn't get a chance to try a bite, but she said it was really good. Overall, Polombia is a super cool concept that offers fun and unique dishes that are accessible to newbies to both cuisines, like me. :) I would recommend this place for sure!

Such unique fusion food! Love empanadas and love pierogis and these were most definitely a fusion of both. Love that they have a vegetarian option and they're made fresh! the mashed potato filling was well spices and the outside nice and crispy. Came with a yogurt/herby sauce. Gotta say I was confused biting into this by all the flavors. But it was good!

I only ordered one dish: Emparogi - I got the beef one and it was delicious! The inside meat was juicy and flavored just enough to complement the (sweet?) potato outside. And the sour cream sauce went so well together. It was just enough for my lunch.

Talk about living the dream! A polish husband and Colombian wife have crafted a surprisingly delicious fusion menu with dishes that you haven't seen anywhere else. We stopped at Time Out Market in the middle of a rainstorm, looking for a beer and some snacks while we waited out the storm. Nothing made us happier than to find a full-stacked craft beer bar with tons of restaurant stands. Among all the choices, Polombia was intriguing because of their unique menu with items like arepa-skis, emparogis and the kielbasa perro. They also had traditional Colombian and Polish sodas, which were a nice add. We ordered the sal-chi-papa, which is their take on kielbasa and potatoes with sauerkraut and scallions, and a special mix of fresh-made sauces. This dish was finger-licking-good. The Arepa-skis also caught our eye because of their cute name. We only tried the Coffee-Braised Short Rib and Mojo Roasted Chicken, but we'll be back to try the Smoked Kielbasa & Vegetarian Lentils. Polombia doesn't mess around. Definitely worth a try!

The best Polish zapiekanka. It would be hard to find a close match even in Kraków or Warszawa. Street food workt a trip. Still have to try their pierogis.

Had a few friends cater from Polombia this week and it was absolutely delicious. The fusion concept of polish and Colombian food is genius. We are vegetarian and they were able to accommodate our restrictive diet. We tried the patato emperogis, golden fried potatoes, lentils and of course the zapiekanka. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portions are generous and the sauces and condiments were unique and tasty. We finished the meal with fruit and chocolate filled mini buttery pastries. I would highly recommend ordering polombia for your next takeout!

First time trying polish and Colombian fusion, and it was great! I got the chicken aprepa-ski. The arepa was cheesy and soft. Everything went together well and the market had a good vibe overall.

If you want a true fusion of flavors this restaurant is a must! Savory and sweet all in one, all cooked to perfection. The quality of ingredients they use is equally amazing. Don't hesitate to try Polombia as I promise, you will not be disappointed.

**DISCLAIMER** Based on the photos and experiences I've seen of other customers, it seems like I must have caught Polombia on an off day. I swung by during lunch to check out a few of the eating options in the area. I ordered the beef emperogis. The food ended up taking around 30 minutes to be ready -- enough time that I had to ask the person behind to counter to make my order a to-go one instead of a "stay" meal. Would have made sense if they were super busy, but during the entire wait, I didn't see anyone else make an order. Sucked, but all good, I'm a taste guy. Couple things to point out, while I watched them prepare my meal: - The frying pan they used to fry the Emperogis at the end was completely covered with burnt debris, an indicator of a chef who didn't really know how to work the pan and keep things non-stick. -The other guy cutting meat was cutting the meat at college frat-boy that never cooked a meal in his life speeds. This all wouldn't have mattered, if this wasn't some of the straight up worst food I've ever been served. The Emperogi's were SOAKING wet -- I'm assuming they do some sort pot sticker cooking method to get the boiled texture of a perogi, and fried texture of the empanada, but this thing was like wet paper, and SOAKED with grease. There were mad holes in each Emperogi, probably where the food stuck to the pan and ripped as the guy responsible for cooking them moved things around. Also, a ton of black burnt shit around the Emperogi -- would not have been a big deal if shit wasn't so goddamn soaked in oil and water. The insides weren't any better. There were no "Potatoes, caramelized onions" in sight. In the picture I've attached, I barely touched the Perogi but it opened up like you're seeing, and I didn't touch any of the other ones -- they just had holes in them. The meat itself (I tried one cube that I threw out after biting into it) tasted dry and funky(3 day+ leftovers). The sauce it came with tasted good. I threw out the food as soon as I took the picture. If I wasn't running late, I would have gone back and asked for a refund. Just a bizarre experience, and don't really understand what those dudes behind the counter were doing in the 30 minutes it took to get our food.

A walk around Time Out Market Chicago and the first business that caught our eye was Polombia. A fusion between Colombian and Polish food that will leave you wanting more. Come with a friend with different tastes so you can share the food. I ordered the Sal-CHI-Papa and it did not disappoint. Seasoned before my eyes everything is balanced and its a perfect portion that leaves you content. Don't let the pineapple scare you it adds a subtle sweetness to the saltiness of the potatoes and kielbasa. Pared with the Mango Mint drink and it refreshes your palate. My friend ordered the Emparogi with potatoes and it changed her world. Each emparogi is freshly made and it shows in the delicious balance of flavors. Paired with the Kiwi drink. 100% recommend, I'll be trying the Keilbasa Perro on my next trip.

So delicious!! And kind service :) I had the short rib Arepa-ski and it was so flavorful! She recommended the fries and now i regret not having it. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

Polombia is without doubt one of the best places I have been to! The food was very flavorful, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the fusion of Colombian and Polish food tasted. We tried the Arepa-ski (Chicken and Beef options). The arepas were light and served with cheese and a drizzle of honey. The meat was perfectly spiced and had a roasted flavor. Next, we tried the Sal-chi-papa and this was the clear winner. Fried potatoes with Polish sausage and a drizzle or cheese and garlic aioli- 10/10!! Must try dish! The La Zapiekanka was delicious and so filling! A special shoutout to the owners! They are so warm, welcoming, patiently explained everything on the menu and provided great recommendations. The prices are completely on point for the quantity and quality. Absolutely loved everything we ordered. Highly recommended!

Polish girl seeking comfort food but also very intrigued by this eclectic combo=going out of my way to stop by on a random Thursday night. First off, Time Market is a wonderful vibe. Gives you that big city food hall feel and the aesthetic is wonderful. Even if you don't want polish Colombian fusion food (which you should!), there are plenty of other options and a bar. As for Polombia itself, the guy I ordered from was great. Super friendly. Food wise: the emparogi were decent. They weren't my favorite item, other than the shape of them they didn't really scream pierogi to me. 90% empanada, 10% pierogi. Wish the filling was a bit more nuanced and combined elements of polish and Colombian. Also would have loved a little more of that sauce because it was delicious! Presentation was nice though. The crown element was the zapiekanka. I've had my fair share of them in Poland and they're my comfort food. Obviously this one isn't quite the same as those, but it gave me similar levels of happiness. Plus the flavors were so good! Sweet and savory on a crisp bread. Get the zapiekanka, it's a good option to share with a friend since it's a large sized portion. Not entirely sure if I'll go out of my way again to eat here BUT if I'm at time out market again in the future by chance, I'll likely try to convince a friend to share a zapiekanka with me!

Had the pleasure of eating from Polombia during a catered event tonight and all I can say is thank you! What a unique experience and blend of the two cultures and cuisines. They even had many delicious vegetarian options to choose from! I can't recommend the food enough, and for a catered event on top of that!

If you want an amazing spin on two cuisines-- you have to check out Polombia! If it is any restaurant that deserves recognition during the pandemic, it is this one! La Zapiekanka (pictured below, as well as others they offer) will always be #1 in my heart, but the other dishes are slowly creeping up to be some of my number-one favorites! The flavor profile is not one like you have seen nor tasted before. Hands down, Phil and Cynthia are the most hospitable restauranteurs that I have met. They remember my name when I walk through the door. They remember details, period. Thank you for always being so welcoming to me and the loved ones I bring through your doors! I wish you all of the successes in the world as you continue to branch out with your dishes!

Tried a few things from different restaurants at Time Out Market. We order the mixed Arepa-skis (one chicken, one short rib) from Polombia. Definitely was surprised/disappointed by the size of them. They did taste well made. The mix of flavors were good, but the size and price would deter me from ordering them again.

Such a unique restaurant concept featuring the respective backgrounds of the husband and wife duo that run this. We were sad they ran out emparogis when we stopped by, but enjoyed the zapiekanka (toasted baguette with all the fixings, the owner recommended Polish ham for protein choice) and the salchipapa (twist on popular Colombian street food of fried potatoes and sausage). Each had great flavor and were fun to share. I loved the pineapple glaze in the salchipapa. Def hope to try the emparogis next time I visit Chicago!
