Pomme Eatery - Review - Príncipe Real - Lisbon - The Infatuation

"This green apple-themed restaurant in Príncipe Real is the kind of place you casually stumble into, and then never want to leave. Maybe because of the big post in the middle that makes you want to twirl, the fresh flowers at the door, or the magnetic energy. But a lot of that reason has to do with their menu of small plates that draws global influence from around the world. Must-order dishes include roasted carrots with yogurt and crunchy quinoa, mushroom croquettes with gooey cheese and smoky aioli, and the star chicken kiev with mashed potatoes, paprika oil, and sweet onions, which you should pair with a glass of natural wine, cider, or kombucha. Bonus: This place is dog-friendly, with water bowls and treats on standby." - Rita Geraldes

Lisbon Was Just Named the Best Culinary City Destination in Europe — Here Are Must-eat Places, According to a Local

"Find something fresh at Pomme, a spot with highly shareable plates that are ideal for group lunch outings. Go for a few starters like the croquettes and the calamari, pair it with a salad and a few mains, and ask for whatever natural wine they recommend — it's always a great suggestion." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Came alone when it opened at 12:00pm. Great ambience. Definitely get their chicken lollipop and mushroom croquette. I think anything on their appetizer or share menu would be great! I got the eel and risotto. It was a big too salty for my taste. Eel was fresh.

Came with a friend without reservations for lunch. Sweetest welcome ever. The food menu is carefully crafted, the plates are generous for a tapas style restaurant. Bold flavor associations, fresh produce and so much fun in these dishes. The wine menu is extensive, mainly based on natural wines and the waiters are very knowledgeable and will gladly help guide your choice. Attentive yet discreet service even when the place was buzzing. This place is a gem 💎 We definitely will be back!

Had such a fabulous meal here. Loved our server and the food & wine was delicious. After eating a lot of heavy food on our trip this was a nice break with fresh vegetable forward dishes. Loved the chicken lollipops and the pesto pasta.

All the items we ordered were star dishes for sure. Delicious without trying. It’s not complex, they’ve managed to bring simple comfort foods and elevated them. Service is slow, but friendly. Place is well decorated.

What a gem! TikTok was right, this was one our favorite meals in Lisbon. We made a lunch reservation & ordered a bunch of tapas to share for lunch. Including the chicken lollipops (my favorite!), the peach and tomato salad, the smoked eggplant dip with flatbread (my husband’s favorite), the Mille potato (so good!) and the sardine bruschetta. The service was super friendly & quick. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing spot! We had the butter prawns, shepherd’s pie, and the lollipop chicken, mushroom croquettes and the cherry chocolate mousse for dessert amongst 4 different types of delicious wines which we were offered to taste before committing. every single dish was gorgeous. Tahi looked after us and she was just the sweetest, made us feel right at home. Could’ve happily stayed eating there all night. Can’t recommend it enough! It’s a 10/10 for us!

This restaurant came highly recommended, so we tried it and really like the food. However, service could have been better. We did not have a reservation and decided to walk in, some staff members were more welcoming than others and service was a bit slow.
