"All locations of POMO Pizzeria serve takeout — and nothing says party like pizza. Choose from classic favorites like margherita pies and pizza topped with prosciutto, Gaeta olives, mushrooms, and zucchini. Complement your pizza with batched cocktails like lemon drops, mules, and watermelon-infused drinks that serve up to nine people. POMO’s Instagram feed will help you choose your favorite entree." - Rudri Patel

Google
My wife and I love pizza and are working our way through the top 50 pizzas as ranked by 50toppizza.it. We stopped in at Pomo last year and loved it. So, we visited again here in July of 2025 now that I am leaving reviews (and if it was as good as I remembered it would be review worthy!!) Pomo Did not disappoint! Service was quick and always on point! We started off strong with the focaccia bread and whipped ricotta and honey! The bread was perfection, and the ricotta was creamy and delicious! The Margherita pizza was also delicious, one of the best we have tried to date on our pizza travels! I would recommend visiting Pomo if you have not, it is one of the best!!

The pizzeria is absolutely beautiful with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. Bella’s service was outstanding- friendly, attentive, and truly made our experience memorable . Higly recommend !

Google
Very good! A much smaller location than I expected in comparison to Scottsdale Pomo, so very limited seating for a table, or you can sit at the bar just about immediately for your food. Food came out insane fast sitting at the bar, the staff was all so friendly and welcoming! The food is amazing! Try the 'pomo pizza' -pizza!!

Google
We headed out just a little after 5:30pm for dinner on a Friday night. We could see a line from a distance, but we headed over anyway. I'm glad we did, as they had a couple of open spots at the bar. We spotted the Gelato case on the way in, so we didn't order an appetizer. We each ordered the house cab to drink. For dinner we ordered the Pappardelle Short Rib and the Salsiccia Funghi (pizza). Both were fantastic!! The bartenders/service was great! Of course we had to get Gelato on the way out! This has a great neighborhood feel! Highly recommended!

Google
Decent Italian restaurant in downtown Phoenix. The food is good but not great. Unfortunately their linen and silverware were dirty which was unpleasant. We had the Burratella chili thread pizza which was a unique experience because of the chili threads, which I've never seen before. It was actually spicy too which was good. It did kind of taste like a healthy pizza, which you may or may not like. I also had the Tagliolini Agli Scampi which wasn't as good. The sauce was very salty which would've been more possible had the pasta not been completely coated in it.

Google
The closest to Napoli pizza I've found in Phoenix. The prosciutto e melone is so southern Italy and delicious!!! The pizza was so amazing I didn't get a photo before it was gone. And Mallory was the amazing server I was so lucky to be served by. A return visit is already in the planning or maybe just a stop for gelato. Either way, it is definitely on my favorites list now! And I almost forgot, they even have espresso for after the meal at 9pm. So Italy!!! I absolutely loved this place!

Google
We’ve been to the one at the Biltmore and it was great food and great service. I decided we would go to the downtown location before a show this past Friday. We had a reservation and were seated right away. We didn’t see our server for at least 7-10 mins after being seated so we ordered everything right away. Food came out in about 10 mins. We ordered a margarita pizza and added pepperoni. Not sure it was pepperoni as it was very spicy and not what I remembered from our visit at the Biltmore. And there was only 2 basil leaves. I’d hardly constitute this to be a margarita pizza. Also, we never once saw our server. We didn’t get our drinks and we finished before she came back. When she returned she asked if we wanted dessert and we just asked for our drinks to be removed and for our check. Paid and left. We will not return to this location. Unfortunate because we had such amazing food and service at the Biltmore location and I wanted to treat my daughter to a delicious meal. Raved about it and she and I left so disappointed.

Google
Just did a pickup order tonight and within a couple hours after eating became extremely nauseous. Still nauseous and aching five hours after consumption! Horrible experience. Not only that - the food was terrible. The pizza was extremely bland and sloppy - and the crust was terribly burnt (not the way it’s suppose to be). The “chopped salad” I ordered was missing ingredients (where’s the feta and almonds? only two tiny onion pieces too!) the saddest chopped salad I’ve ever seen.

Yelp
Service was so quick, their espresso martinis are my favorite to date. We caught a happy hour when we were there and the meatballs were really good and soft. The margherita pizza was simple and delicious. 9/10 would come back

Yelp
We were in town for a conference and I read about Pomo on a food blog. It did not disappoint at all! Our server was very friendly and offered us water right away (which we appreciated as we had walked there in the 100+ degree weather). We looked over the menu and I really couldn't narrow down what I wanted to order. I decided to ask our server what she recommended. One of the choices she suggested is what I went with the Burratella. It was absolutely amazing! Soft crust but thin where the toppings were. The honey was the perfect touch! Came home from my conference and told my husband all about this restaurant and we are planning a return trip to Phoenix so he can try it as well!

Yelp
The pasta = delicious. Absolutely amazing. The pizza = more eh. The middle of it wasn't fully cooked through sadly. So one star down for that. Great service. Great cocktails and drinks (including an espresso flight!). It's tight inside but plenty of seating. They sat us quickly even on a very busy night and our server was VERY attentive. Will definitely be back for the cocktails and pasta! Carbs for life!

Yelp
Yelped for a gluten-free pizza place while we were at an event in the area. Pomo popped up. The photos looked so delicious, our girls asked to go. Experiencing a new place is always exciting, and first impressions are so important. Your first interaction with an employee and the ambiance. 5 stars for both here. Leslie is a gem. Answering our food sensitivity questions and going above and beyond getting the answers. I was able to ask the embarrassing food sensitivities questions and still get a pizza in less than 7 minutes. I am not kidding! Impressive! I felt so comfortable, we will definitely be back! Not only do they offer gluten-free pizza, but pasta as well. You must try their expresso martinis! They even have a Tini Tuesday special. $10 martinis! The gluten-free pizzas were so good. We love the sauce and cheese! The crust does not taste gluten-free, which was such a treat. Chewy wood fired goodness. There is a lot of crust, and being dry (yet still yummy), we wish we had some sauce to dip it in. Next time, I will add sauce to go on the side. Our girls, surprisingly, are crust eaters.

Yelp
I recently visited this highly-rated Neapolitan pizza place in Phoenix and it truly lived up to its reputation. The Margherita pizza we ordered was delicious and as authentic as can be. The crust was perfectly charred with that signature airy, chewy texture, and the fresh mozzarella and basil were in perfect harmony with the tangy tomato sauce. It felt like a slice of Naples right here in Phoenix! A pleasant surprise was the inclusion of a Hugo Spritz on the menu. I've never seen this refreshing Italian cocktail offered at a pizza place in the States before. It was just as delightful as I remembered from Italy, a perfect accompaniment to the meal. However, the lasagna was a bit of a letdown. It lacked the rich, layered flavors I was expecting, and I wouldn't order it again. On a brighter note, the fried calamari was excellent. Served with what seemed like pizza sauce, it added a deliciously unexpected twist that complemented the crispy calamari perfectly. Overall, this restaurant offers a fantastic Neapolitan pizza experience, with a few unique touches that set it apart. Service was satisfactory.

Yelp
Nice to find pizza place with vegan options while visiting Phoenix. The service was quick and the location was close to where we were staying. The pizza was yummy. It had just enough vegan cheese and not the cheap, nasty vegan cheese that many non-vegan pizza shops put on vegan pizza. Will absolutely go here again if we're ever back in Phoenix!
google avatar

Tatum R.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this charming and laid-back pizza shop near our hotel and are so glad we did! The food was delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. We tried the vegan mist salad, which paired perfectly with the burratella pizza. Their Neapolitan pizza is top-notch, and I can't wait to return to try more. The menu also features paninis, which I didn't get to try this time, but I'll definitely be back for. A fantastic spot for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Yelp
From the light and fluffy focaccia to the perfectly cooked pizza this place was superb. Even the cocktails were a plus. The servers were very attentive and the inside was clean and comfortable. The only thing not pictured is the lunch special Amalfi panini which was also delicious, highly recommend saving some of the ricotta to spread on it.
google avatar

Yelp
Pomo was really tasty. I enjoyed my meal and had great service. For an appetizer we did the meatballs then got a pepperoni sausage pizza for our entree. That was enough to split between two adults. The best part of the meal, in my opinion, was the desserts! We had the pannacotta and tiramisu.
google avatar

Lyndsey E.

Yelp
Pomo offers authentic Neapolitan pizzas and I was excited to see they have the VPN (Verace Pizza Napoletana) certification. I have high expectations for this style of pizza and our visit exceeded my expectations. We tried the Burratella Pizza and the combination of honey and chili threads paired well with the soppressata. Their team was really attentive and all of our food was ready quickly. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
More like 3.5 * but our waiter was very nice so I'll bump it up. Came in early before heading to see Jo Koy at the Footprint Center (which was amazing, btw). We both ate a late lunch so we were not overly hungry, which is rare. We were going to get one pizza each but when the waiter mentioned that the bufala is more "wet" than other pizzas I didn't really want a wet pizza. I ordered the margherita instead and my husband got the bufala. When they both came out they were equivalently wet. Not bad but if you want a crispier crust then maybe try something else and ask for cooked more because these two pies had more "wet" dough under the cheese. They were still very good because the dough and sauce are flavorful and everything tasted very fresh and clean. Pros 1. Good flavor 2. Fresh tasting 3. Clean (not procrssed food) tasting 4. Nice waiter 5. Manager remade our margherita pie at his own suggestion. He said he didn't like how it came out so he was having them remake it. May have just been an excuse for the bufala coming out a while sooner. I'm going to be optimistic and trust him. Cons 1. Really bad and loud guitar player on the front patio where we were sitting. Had to shout across the table to hear our conversation. 2. All throughout dinner, on the patio we could smell a ton of cigarette smoke. Not sure where it was coming from but I'd sit inside next time. I had a headache from the smoke by the time we left. 3. Plan to leave extra time for parking and/or use the app to pay for parking. Otherwise there's a very long line of clueless people trying to use the pay station.

Yelp
The service... 10/10 for sure! Definitely had a great time eating here and the ambience is great. Our server was super patient and welcoming going over their popular dishes! As for the food itself... it was decent. The dishes were great and my party loved the service, but we often found that we have had better Italian food. What we got.... Bruschetta Crudo, Figs and Honey - comes in two big pieces, but we requested for it to be sliced in half for sharing! It was yummy. Burratella - this pizza was personal size, but perfect for sharing along with other dishes. The pizza itself was good, but nothing special. They did offer a spicy dipping sauce on the side for more flavor. Tagliatelle Bolognese- the portion may seem small but it is definitely filling! Taste exactly as you would imagine for a red sauce pasta. Gramigna Boscaiola- the Noodles/pasta were a bit firm. The sauce was good but can be heavy overtime as you eat. It was okay, I would opt to try something else next time. Though it may just be my tastebuds that find this dish ok!

Yelp
The food was great. Our server seemed angry or at least indifferent. She poured a glass of water and spilled on the table and didn't clean up. Honestly I get better service at much lesser priced places. I don't know what her problem was but she didn't even smile until she dropped the check
google avatar

Sallie S.

Yelp
Delicious wood fired pizza. We had the bruschetta, buffalo pizza, and a pizza with sausage and peppers. The house-made cheese was amazing! Great pizza, but didn't beat my all time favorite-Secret Pizza in Las Vegas.

Yelp
YUMM! Prepare for delicious, fresh, fast service and a great experience! We ordered various pizzas (pictured) at our table. also ordered their chopped salad and it was YUMMY! Would def recommend giving this place a go! Our service was incredible and the food came out so fast, despite it being a busy night! We all got drinks, the pumpkin espresso martini was a hit, though much too sweet for my personal taste! I got the classic Margarita, yummy but overpriced. Though, it's downtown Phoenix so not surprised. Pizzas pictured are one with no tomato sauce but came with potatoes - we got tomato sauce to dip on the side. Also got one with a variety of meats and one with some fresh mozerella and basil. Yum!
google avatar

Yelp
Just yum! We ordered the formaggi and the Pomo pizza. Also the honey and ricotta focaccia appetizer. The focaccia was so soft and delicious! Add the ricotta and honey and it's just a match in heaven! So delicious! For the pizza- the crust was the best part! So fluffy and delicious! The formaggi was definitely the better pizza. The Pomo just tasted basic. Still good but I preferred the formaggi. Each pizza carries six slices so definitely doable for a hungry person or to share. We also got the torta Nutella. Now I usually hate Nutella but this slice of chocolate goodness was warm and melted on the tongue. It came with vanilla gelato which just pairs with it perfectly. Totally recommend getting dessert. The service was kind of blah but not super terrible.

Yelp
Dead Fly in Glass of Wine! I've been to POMO dozens of times with great food and experience. Snotty server Jack G was aggravated we moved tables and split checks. Not the first time he plays nice to customers faces yet goes away to complain and makes jokes about customers with other staff. Got to the bottom of my 2nd glass of Wine and there was a crunchy dead fly. NOTE: On that day we had no flys around the table and three alert clean freaks at the table.

Yelp
We were visiting for a day from San Diego, and my goodness the pizza here was amazing!! San Diego is known for Italian food but I gotta say the pizza here was much better than the ones I've tried in SD. We also spent our honeymoon in Italy last year eating pizza every single day. The pizza at Pomo is comparable to the ones we've had there! I've been thinking about their pizza since we left phoenix and only wished there was one near me. I got the BUFALA VERACE pizza. I liked it but it felt like a thick layer of cheese. I think i would get the margherita if i was to go back hoping for more tomatoey but that's preference. The crust was AMAZING. Their panna cotta was SO good. I highly recommend! They also have espressos for after dinner! Bonus! It felt like we were back in Italy ! I also liked it was dog friendly on the patio. The downside is that it's next to a bar and people were smoking right nearby at the bar patio so every bite of my pizza had a side of cigarette taste which kinda sucked. However that's out of the control of the restaurant. Overall: The food was great and service was great! Must try the pizza and panna cotta!

Yelp
i have been to pomo a few times and I really want to like it more. I know everyone likes it, but my pizza is always soggy somehow. the servers are sweet and the restaurant is a peaceful place to be, but i just can not get behind it, I am sorry
google avatar

Yelp
Love, love, love Pomo, you have got to try the Burratella pizza and the strozzapreti salsiccia! But honestly, you could order anything on this menu and thank the gods that you did. Jay is the best server, super personable, and after two visits, I feel like we're buddies. Will literally miss him when I go home. The atmosphere is very casual, the drinks are consistently delicious, I just love the vibe of this place. Grazie mille, Pomo!
google avatar

Yelp
First time eating here, first time at Phoenix. They were getting pretty packed at 6pm but we had a reservation so got seated right away. They had amazing variety of pizza/pasta. The only thing I didn't like was that the pizza itself was a little soggy because it was thin crust. However the crust itself was great. It's very loud inside and a bit chaotic. I think it would be okay for medium groups as the place itself is pretty small. It has some good outdoor seating as well.
google avatar

Dina M.

Yelp
I hate posting negative reviews, but I'm walking away from Pomo right now, and I can honestly say that was the worst service I have ever had in my entire life. Apps never came out, and when we told the server we didn't want them (after our meals came out), he was completely dumbfounded. He paid no attention to our table the entire time we were seated. The food was fine, not spectacular but not horrible, but we will never go back solely based on the service we received.
google avatar

K D.

Yelp
Great location Plenty of parking Wonderful service Lovely interior - many seating options Menu is robust A great Italian find!!! Very fresh ingredients Their red sauce is outstanding Had meatballs, eggplant, pizza Delicious!
google avatar

Mina G.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Was pretty easy to get a seat. Waitress was very friendly. We tried the inferno pizza and Gramigna Boscaiola (pasta with mushroom and sausage). Pizza was pretty good. Tasty and well cooked, but I would say for the price just good. Had a nice little kick to it with the peppers but nothing too much. Portion pretty gold. Pasta also was pretty tasty but I would not get that dish again as overall just good. Large portion I thought for the pasta. Overall pretty good and would recommend.
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
Really cool restaurant with outdoor seating! We ordered the lasagna aforno and the margherita pizza. The lasagna was unique and was not my favorite, the sauce was more of a brown color rather than red, and it had a creamier texture. The marghertia pizza was amazing. Next time we go back, we will definitely just get pizzas! We also had the tiramisu for dessert which was good.
google avatar

Devon B.

Yelp
FANTASTIC GLUTEN FREE TRADITIONAL NEAPOLITAN PIZZA. Absolutely delicious. It rocked my world. Perfectly cooked and perfect flavor combination. It felt like eating real pizza. The service was FAST! The employees were super helpful and nice. They are great for a quick lunch. The drinks looked fantastic. The inside of the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom was decorated very well and very clean. If you haven't been here, get here ASAP.
google avatar

Yelp
Great down town place for after the ballgame - but busy!!! I made a reservation , luckily Loved the whipped ricotta. Highly recommend
google avatar

Lazendria G.

Yelp
My coworkers and I had an after hours get together here this week. We had a party of 7 and were seated rather quickly, considering. The service was great! They took really good care of us and allowed for some substitutions considering the majority of us have different dietary restrictions. That in itself is usually a nightmare for servers, but ours took it in stride. Anyway, I had the garden salad and added shrimp. The shrimp were really big and well seasoned. My coworkers absolutely loved the pizza. They stated it was super filling and we even had leftovers. This hidden gem is well worth it. I will definitely be back soon.
google avatar

Marisa K.

Yelp
Great food and great service! The pizzas were thin crust, kinda like what you would actually see in Italy! The restaurant itself and bathrooms were clean and looked good.
google avatar

Nicki O.

Yelp
I need someone to explain why the toppings on my pizza are like this. This is the work of an absolute madman.
google avatar

Arash A.

Yelp
Pomo is an authentic pizzeria that delivers the traditional feel and flavors of Italy's most beloved places such as Naples. A true classic in the Valley and each bite is an immersive cultural experience. Thank you for your hospitality and consistency in quality and unforgettable experiences.
google avatar

Kassandra L.

Yelp
We made reservations for a party of 4 on Saturday evening. We were seated right away but the service was on the slower side. The restaurant itself has a cute setup but all the tables are relatively close to one another. I wasn't blown away by the pizza, it tasted fine but nothing memorable. The pasta was unique and extremely flavorful, if I were to go back I'd try more of their pastas.
google avatar

Kristian N.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. So here is my honest feedback. I had the margarita pizza. The crust was very soggy. I'm a tad unimpressed especially since the pizza at Pomo is highly regarded by restaurant reviewers. I believe my friend had the Toto sapore pizza, he thought it was very good although he did say the sausage was very spicy. We had the calamari which was amazing and we finished with the Nutella torte. The torte was to die for. I also had the tiramisu martini which was a perfectly fine martini. The atmosphere was really nice and the waitress was really nice. I would go back and try different menu items for sure.
google avatar

Darya S.

Yelp
Food was just fine here. It was nothing memorable, but it was solid. It's not like a place I'd say is a must-try in Phoenix. We came on a Sunday night and got the Italian board, the panzanella salad, and the ortolana pizza. I enjoyed them in that order. The pizza was disappointing to me, because it was soggy and tasteless, and had so very pieces of vegetables, even though those are literally the toppings listed on the menu. They just skimp on the toppings and I don't like that. I did enjoy the wood-fired crust, though. The first two items were good. I enjoyed all the pieces on the Italian board, and the salad was fresh anc a good portion, enough to be its own meal.
google avatar

Mackensie N.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Our server was so friendly and accommodating. It was a small place but a good energy about it.
google avatar

Victoria P.

Yelp
last stop on my PHX food adventures was @pomopizzeria to end off a fabulous weekend I enjoyed the 4 FORMAGGI with mozzarella, gorgonzola, provolone and parmigiano although the pizza was good, it was a little too gorgonzola forward for my liking
google avatar

Victoria G.

Yelp
I want to hope this was a fluke experience, but yikes it was overall terrible. We were a party of 6 coming in to have dinner last night, our waiter took our order and didn't course appetizers. All apps and main courses hit our table within 6 minutes of placing our order. The honey, prosciutto appetizer was good but it seemed like the restaurant and kitchen were both just in a rush. My husband had the gnocchi dish but it had no texture at all- it was baked to mush and burnt on top. The pizza was passable, but soggy in the middle. Our waiter came back to fill our waters around when he also dropped our check. Waiter was definitely trying, just seemed inundated. Overall I was very disappointed and would not return.
google avatar

Valerie C.

Yelp
Since my last visit to Pomo, the menu and specials have changed, I would say drastically. Gone is the beloved reverse happy hour. I used to love the Pioggia and Fiore drinks on their normal happy hour menu, but they're also gone and have been replaced with other drinks that aren't appealing to me. There's a whole new area of the drink menu dedicated to espresso martinis. Their Mulo is now the "Mulo Italiano" with some ingredient changes. I was also pretty sad to see that their calamari appetizer was removed from the menu. I opted for their Fresca drink, and it tasted good but the passionfruit drink is very similar to something I can get for cheaper somewhere else downtown. I probably won't be coming back here but I'll certainly see their old menu as an enjoyable memory...
google avatar

Shirl S.

Yelp
A group of 6 of us enjoyed a fabulous lunch- beverages, appetizers and the best gluten-free pizza I have had in 2 decades! The other 5 members of the group did not require gluten free, but were happy with the pizza as well. Our staff member Zoë was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient but never made us feel rushed. I'd love to return again!
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
We went as a party of seven, with two guests from the Phoenix Fan Fusion convention. Besides the bruschette, whose bread was so hard I joked I needed to work out more just to cut it, the food was delicious and you get your pizzas FAST. Our server didn't seem to like us (all seven of us noticed), but we chalked it up to a bad day or being overworked, because we tried to be efficient in ordering so they didn't have to go back and forth to get food or drinks piecemeal. I'd go here again in a heartbeat -- in particular, the margherita and burratella pizzas were absolutely amazing.

Brooke S.

Yelp
I love pomo! Their pizza is bombbbb and their drinks are good! All of the staff is very friendly and attentive. I like their martinis. Overall vibe of the restaurant is good. The pasta is also really good! I always look forward to going back.
google avatar

Megan G.

Yelp
Pomo has such a great location downtown! I would highly recommend getting the Milo Italiano - this is my absolute new favorite Moscow mule in Phoenix! My friends got the tiramisu espresso martini, which was fantastic and then the Aperol spritz - this one was just decent. We split the Buffalo Verace and Burratella pizzas. Both were amazing, but the Burratella specifically blew us away!!
google avatar

Bobby W.

Yelp
I have questions about this Quattro Stagioni: seriously? What kind of maniac makes a pizza like this??? In what world is this an acceptable way to arrange pizza toppings?! Who hurt you? Am *I* the crazy one here? I mean-- foreal. I've got a slice that's just a pile of olives, a slice that's just a pile of mushrooms, and three slices of sparsely distributed meat. Guys... dare I say: do better.
google avatar

Divine P.

Yelp
For starters the server was in a bad mood and had forgotten about my table.... THEN they have an open kitchen so you can see them making the food and one of the cooks kept touching his hair and picked his nose.... Eat at your own risk.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Service is good therefore the 2 stars. Confused as there are many good reviews. Pizza has a soggy bottom. Pizza gets cold after sitting for two minutes. Not for me. I would tell you where to get great pizza but then everyone would be there.
google avatar

Nick C.

Yelp
I've been coming to Pomo for years but I'm just now getting around to leave a review. Pre-COVID this was my top place for pizza and pasta downtown. Recently I think I would give the nod to Il Bosco for pizza though. The gramigna and strozzapretti pastas at Pomo are always delicious and a reason to keep coming back. Unfortunately, the downtown location also has a more limited menu than Scottsdale and doesn't always get the seasonal specials. I had to only go with 4 stars though because recently the food just hasn't been up to the typical Pomo quality especially when getting food to go. Most recently, I was excited to finally be able to stop in and try one of their summer peach specials. I got the Nirvana pizza with peaches, arugula, and prosciutto. The flavor was pretty good but it came out watery, soggy and not completely cooked.

Kaitlyn Z.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and it was really good! It's a little small inside, but that's ok. Our food came out very quickly, and our waiter was very friendly. My pizza was nice and fresh, I was so excited to eat it I forgot to take a picture before. I would definitely come back! The only thing that sucks is that you have to pay and find parking. Other than that this place is 10/10!

Yelp
Delicious Italian Cuisine! Fresh and flavorful! We love eating at Pomo! I am a big fan of the chili oil

Yelp
Coming from LA, I wasn't expecting to be wowed by the restaurant scene in Phoenix but POMO was amazing! From the ambience to the service and the food, everything was a 5 star experience. It was actually very crowded considering I came for an early dinner on a Wednesday so I definitely recommend a reservation which is easy to make through Open Table. We were seated at a 2 top in the middle of the restaurant and it was initially very bright in the restaurant but as the night went on they dimmed the lights creating more of a vibe. The pizzas were both so good, and the crust was perfectly chewy. The portions are also pretty big and I finished less than half of my pizza. It definitely rivals some of my favorite pizza spots in LA. If you're not willing to wait hours for the famed Pizza Bianca, this is an amazing option. If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely be returning!

Nathan A.

Yelp
The ambiance was great. I enjoyed that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, especially on cooler summer nights. The food did leave a little more to be desired, my party didn't feel that the food had much flavor or seasoning, although the homemade noodles are very good. The pizza was soggy in the middle and lacked flavor as well, but the crust was good. Our server was nice enough, but didn't really interact more than what would be required of a server.
